Shepard woke up in a dark lit hallway and looked around rapidly "Tali are you here?" he said but he got no answer, Shepard turned the flashlight on his omni-tool and saw Tali lying on the ground "Tali!" He shouted out, he came to a stop next to her and crouched down and checked her suit for any tears or punctures, luckily there were none, as he sighed of relief Admiral Hackett came on the comms "Did anyone make it to the Citadel?" Shepard replied "me and my team made it to the Citadel, though I don't know where on it we are, the only person with me is Tali and she's knocked out and I don't know where Garrus is" a few seconds pass "copy that commander get the Citadel arms open as soon as possible and we can dock the Crucible" Hackett said, Shepard looked back at Tali "Okay, we'll get it done, Shepard out" Shepard put his hand on Tali and shook a little bit "Hey, wake up Tal" he said in a comforting voice she didn't respond he shook a bit harder and said a little bit louder "Hey, wake up hun" Tali stirred a bit "I'll be up in a few minutes" she said sleepily "we don't have a few minutes" Shepard said "what?" she sat up "wait, where are we?" Tali asked, Shepard replied "we're on the Citadel, we're about to dock the crucible and destroy the reapers once and for all" Tali was surprised "Keelah, really? It seems only like yesterday you rescued me from that alleyway" they both got up off the ground "to me it feels like decades ago" Tali then noticed that someone wasn't there "Hey where's Garrus?" Tali said "I have no idea, but I know he's somewhere here I was the last one to hop into the beam after you two" Shepard went to the channel frequency they all used "Garrus are you there?" Shepard said, a second later Garrus replied "Spirits Shepard you scared the shit out of me! Where the hell are you?" Shepard breathed another sigh of relief "glad to hear you're okay, I have no idea where we're at, Tali is with me right now, it's completely dark and I can't see two feet in front of me" Shepard turned his flashlight back on and was met with a horrific sight of dead bodies all in multiple piles "Fucking hell" Shepard muttered "the reapers didn't waste no time to start harvesting" Tali said sadly "What do you see?" Garrus asked "piles of dead bodies possibly ready to be turned into another reaper" Shepard said "Damn, hey listen I see a door ahead I'll contact you in a couple minutes when I can pinpoint where I am" Garrus said "okay stay sharp Garrus, come on let's get moving" Shepard said as he moved around the bodies as they came to the other end of the room they came across a pair of small doors "looks like enough room for a keeper, we'll get through if we crouch" Shepard said, he crouched down and forcefully opened the keeper doors and went through Tali kept close suddenly a voice boomed in Shepards head "YOU WILL FAIL, EVERYONE YOU LOVE WILL BE DESTROYED EVEN YOUR PRECIOUS TALI'ZORAH" and a giant pain racked his head, Shepard stopped and hissed in pain, Tali put a hand on his shoulder "are you okay John?" She asked "I'm fine, let's just keep going" Shepard said they eventually reached another set of doors and Shepard forcefully opened those as well and went through, when he came out he noticed they were in the council chambers Tali then climbed out "What a coincidence, we ended Saren here and were going to end the reapers here as well" Shepard said "Garrus you know where you are?" Shepard said on the comms "yeah, I just passed the embassies on the Presidium and I'm about to pass the elevator going up to the council chambers" Garrus said "go up the elevator, we're in the council chambers" Shepard replied "Okay, making my way there now" Garrus said. Shepard turned to Tali "we'll wait for Garrus to get here, I have a feeling that this won't be as easy as we expected" Shepard said, about a few seconds later the elevator came up and Garrus came out and said
"Either they upgraded the elevators or they move faster when in an extreme emergency" he headed towards them "it better be the former, if not then that's defiantly the first thing that'll have to be fixed when we're done with the reapers" Shepard said as they moved throughout the chambers "No kidding" Garrus said a couple seconds passed as they moved through the chambers "It's really quiet here, it's unsettling, everything looks normal but it's just really quiet" Tali said "Yeah, every other tine we've been here theres been at least sone sirt if noise but now, its like all the lifes been drained from here" Shepard agreed they continued moving through the chambers when they went up the last flight of stairs Anderson was there "Anderson? How'd you get here?" He stepped towards him Anderson turned around slowly "Shepard he's here!" Anderson said "who's here?" Shepard said as he took another step towards him but was immediately stopped due to the unexplained stasis he was in "what the fuck?" Shepard exlamed "tsk, tsk, tsk, you really are a bit of a daft one aren't you Shepard?" Said a voice that all three of them knew all to well "no, I had a feeling you were here, just didn't think I'd see you and since when did you get biotics Timbo?" Shepard said "ever since I got my... upgrades" The Illusive Man said as he revealed himself from behind Shepard and turned around and revealed his implants, just like the ones Saren had
