Sorry about being absent for so long. I lost the motavation to write as well as had writers block and wasnt sure how to continue.
Anyways, Enjoy chapter 2

"Ahhhhhhh I'm late" said a boy getting up and rushing to get changed and rush downstairs. Ash Ketchum had just woken up late to get his trainer license. "Come on pikachu we gotta get going" he said as he finished his breakfast quickly and getting ready to go and saying goodbye to his mom just as pikachu jumped on Ash's shoulder and they both rushed to the professor's lab just in time to see Gary walk out with a pokeball in hand.
"Hey loser," Gary said arrogantly, "I got the last pokemon there ha!" as Gary got in the car and drove off.
"That Gary.. I'll show him who's boss" and with that Ash went inside to see the professor there waiting for Ash with a smile.
"Hello there, Ash," he said, "Ready for your trainer license?" professor oak chuckled already knowing the answer
"You bet I am ready" Ash said happily and pikachu responded with a enthusiastic 'pika'.
"Alright, just let me get you registered," professor oak says as he registers Ash for his trainer license, "And done, here you are Ash" he says handing Ash's pokedex and 5 pokeballs.
"Thanks professor Oak" Ash tells the man and says goodbye to him and heads back home to say one last goodbye to his mother.

Ash is currently standing at his front door in front of his mom in a tight hug saying their final goodbyes as Ash catches his eevee in a pokeball before finally waving goodbye to his mom as he heads towards his two legendary friends.

Now we see our hero walking towards the cave where suicune is. Pikachu was quite confused as to why they weren't going to route one yet but decided to trust his trainer and pikachu nearly fell off Ash's shoulder when Suicune appeared 'Hello Ash and Pikachu' "Hey Suicune" Pikachu was shocked. His trainer knew the legendary Suicune? Him being surprised is an understatement. "Are you ready Suicune?" Ash asked and Suicune nodded to him indicating she was ready to be caught as Ash held out a pokeball for her as she tapped the center with her nose and it pinged immediately showing suicune didn't struggle in the pokeball. 'One down, one more to go' Ash thought to himself.
Time skip..
Ash is now heading towards the clearing when suddenly suicune let herself out of her pokeball and Ash was confused until he saw Rayquaza and Suicune staring at each other and Rayquaza turned to Ash 'Suicune was your friend?' then suicune turned to Ash 'Rayquaza was your friend?' Ash rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and nodded smiling. 'Certainly interesting seeing you here Rayquaza, are you joining Ash as well?' The black snake-like pokemon nodded. Ash then got out a pokeball and held it in his hand and rayquaza tapped the center with his nose and like with suicune it pinged instantly and Ash returned Suicune and looked to Pikachu and smiled "Surprised?" The said pokemon nodded quickly saying he was very surprised and Ash smiled "Well time to start our journey" he said as both pokemon and trainer headed to route one.
Time skip..
Ash and pikachu are currently walking through route one when suddenly a loud caw was heard and they turned to see an angry flock of spearows. "Run pikachu" Ash says as he and pikachu start sprinting away. The angry spearow flock gave chase intending to get at them for something a earlier trainer did. "Pika-pikachu" pikachu says to his trainer. Suddenly they come upon a waterfall and see water down below then look back to see the incoming flock. "We got to jump" Ash tells Pikachu, getting ready to jump and Pikachu holds onto him for dear life. Taking one last glance back at the flock, they jump into the water below and make a huge splash. Once they resurfaced they both looked up to see the flock diving down and they quickly swam to shore and dry off as quick as they could, then they started running again to get away from the flock. As they are running, Ash looks back at the flock diving towards with and doesn't see a big pothole and trips over it landing on the dirt, and pikachu lands on his front slightly bruising himself. Ash slowly gets up and looks at pikachu then faces the flock with a determined look. "Here me spearows! You can harm me but don't harm pikachu!" Ash shouts out. Pikachu is shocked at his trainer putting himself in danger just for him. The flock then dives towards the trainer intending on harming him. Pikachu then gains a deeper respect for his trainer and gets up and runs up the back of his trainer and hops onto his shoulder then into the air and a lightning bolt strikes pikachu and he lets his most powerful thundershock towards all the spearow.

As the clouds start to clear up and the sun shines through the clouds and a rainbow forms. Ash and pikachu looked at each other "Well, we beat 'em" "chu" pikachu responded. Suddenly a majestic bird flies towards them landing in front of the two in all its glory 'Hello Ash, pikachu. It is I. Ho-oh the legendary phoenix. You two were very brave fighting off that flock of spearow' A feminine like voice told them in their minds. Ash and pikachu both stared at her with surprised looks. "Hey Ho-oh" Ash says with all the respect he could muster into his voice and pikachu saying his hello in his native language. "What are you here for?" he asked curiously. Ho-oh dug through her feathers and pulled a feather out and presented it to Ash. 'This is for you Ash' "T-Thank you" he stuttered as he took the feather and tied it onto a necklace and put it around his neck and under his shirt. 'Keep it safe and also Ash Ketchum, if you can tame the two legendary dogs, I will join you' Ash was awed then he asked. "Isn't there three legendary dogs?" Yes there is, I already know you have suicune with you and rayquaza' Ash was shocked but nonetheless nodded to the phoenix in understanding. 'Take care Ash, pikachu' and with that Ho-oh flew off through the rainbow with one thought in mind 'take care chosen one'
"One surprise after another, eh pikachu?" Pikachu nodded agreeing with his trainer. And with that they started walking towards Viridian City. As the two head towards Viridian City, they both see a pidgey. "Let's see if that pidgey will join us, what do you think pikachu?" pikachu gave a 'pika pikachu' in response. The two head towards the pidgey and Ash gets on his knees in front of the pidgey. "Hey there" The pidgey looked at the boy curiously wondering why he was talking to her instead of trying to capture her.
"Would you like to join me?" Ash asked the pidgey calmly. Pidgey was a bit shocked, the boy was asking her to join him? She was a bit flustered and nodded to the boy and hopped towards him. She then jumped onto his shoulder. Ash smiled and held a pokeball to the pidgey and she tapped the center with her beak and it pinged immediately showing there was no struggle at all. "Well pikachu, ready to go into the forest?" "pika!" pikachu said enthusiastically.
"Well let's have something to eat first in the cave" Ash said as he headed into a cave that was a lot bigger than it looked and the cave could fit rayquaza inside and he let all his pokemon out of their pokeballs and he started to cook right away.
Meanwhile the pokemon were talking…
"So suicune and rayquaza, what made you want to join Ash?" Pikachu asked the legendaries.
"Ash is very selfless and has the purest heart I've seen" Suicune answered with rayquaza nodding in agreement "yes he does have a pure heart"
"I've noticed it as well" said the small bird pokemon known as pidgey while eevee hasn't said anything
"What about you eevee?" Pikachu asked the small pokemon
"Daddy hatched me from an egg, he took very good care of me" eevee answered
The pokemon looked over at Ash smelling food seeing he was done
Time Skip..
"There I'm all done, come get your food" Ash says as he puts down food for the pokemon and they ate the pokefood peacefully while Ash ate his own food and after that they were all stuffed from the good meal. "Let's rest up, then we're heading through the forest" he says as he puts the pokemon back into their pokeball except Pikachu who slept beside Ash as they laid in their sleeping bag.
Morning..
Ash yawns as he starts to wake up and see's Pikachu still sleeping "Time to wake up" he says as he rubs his starters head to wake him up "Chaaaaa" pikachu says as he wakes and sees his trainer and smiles and Ash starts to pack up. After Ash finishes packing up, he and Pikachu start heading through the forest.
"So many pokemon, eh Pikachu?" Pikachu nodded, "Hey look, a caterpie, maybe he'll join us" Ash says as he walks up to the pokemon. "Hey there Caterpie. Would you like to join us on our journey?" Ash asked. Capterpie looked at the boy confused 'why is the boy asking me instead up capturing me?' Caterpie thought. Ash seeing the confused face the pokemon was giving, he smiled and said "I'll only capture you if you want me to, if not then I'll be on my way." Caterpie thought for a moment before nodding and slithered toward the pokeball on Ash's belt as he grabbed a pokeball and held it out to Caterpie to tap he head on and it pinged instantly showing that caterpie didn't struggle. "Well, time to continue, eh PikaPal?" "Pika!" Pikachu said excitedly, "well let's get going" Ash says as he and Pikachu head farther into the forest.
Time Skip…
As Ash and Pikachu are heading through the forest, they notice a female Arcanine guarding an egg and Ash slowly walks up and kneel down a few feet from the pokemon. "Hey there, is everything okay?" Ash asks as Pikachu hops down and asks the same question. Arcanine looks at the boy and at Pikachu and barks out to them. Ash then looks around seeing no one around and lets out Suicune. "Hey Suicune can you translate for me and Arcanine?" Suicune nods saying she will with telepathy. Arcaine somewhat shocked seeing the legendary but barks towards Suicune and she nods and looks at Ash, 'She has been waiting for a worthy trainer to hatch her egg and she has chosen you Ash' Ash looks at Arcanine in shock and asks nervously, "are you sure?" Arcanine nods and pushes the egg towards Ash and gets up and barks towards Suicune once again then runs off. 'She hopes you'll take good care of the egg. Now I wish to return to my pokeball. I sense another presence nearby' Ash nods and returns Suicune to her pokeball and picks the egg up and puts it in his bag and taps his shoulder and Pikachu hops on and they head further into the forest.
