"I can't do anything right...I'm a failure..." mumbled Naruto as he got up and walked towards the edge of the monument. He leaned forward and slowly let himself fall. He closed his eyes waiting to feel the wind glide past his falling body but it never came. He opened his eyes to find his body leaning over the edge. He stood up and turned around to face what was stopping him and he came face to face with Hinata. She had tears going down her cheeks but had a serious face has she mumbled,

"I'm not letting the person I love the most die like this."

Naruto was surprised that someone actually loved let alone care about him. He looked into her wet eyes and lounged at her and hugged her tightly. "W-why?" He mumbled through his tears. Hinata smiled slightly, "because you make me happy, your smile brightens my day, your whisker marks are cute, I love how clueless you can be, you make me determined to follow my dreams. Naruto you're the reason I wake up in the morning." His eyes widened, how could he be so clueless? The one who cared about him the most had been right in front of him the entire time. He smiled at her, "Thank you Hinata...I don't know if the feeling I have in my heart is love or not but it's strong." Now it was her turn to be shocked she had no idea he could perhaps feel the same way.

She was so happy she didn't know what to do. She let her senses take over and she pushed her lips against his. Naruto kissed back slightly, this was their first kiss so they were new to it but oh boy did they love it. Unwillingly Hinata pulled back for air and for that split second their eyes met. Naruto didn't move. He kept his arms around her and kept her body close to his. A few seconds pass and he then grins at her. "I think I do love you." He cheekily said.

Hinata could feel herself become light headed. She layed her head on Naruto's shoulder for support and asked, "What do we do now?" Naruto thought about it for a second before replying. "How about you become my beautiful girlfriend?" He grinned. She slowly nodded and the fainted in his arms. Naruto smiled at her sleeping form. He scooped her up and took her to his apartment.

One month later,

"My father should probably know about this." Hinata mumbled while unpacking the last of her things. Naruto pouted at her remark. He thought it was an amazing idea for Hinata to move in with him but it seemed Hinata thought differently. "You don't want to move in with me? Just think, it'll just be me and you...alone...we could even sleep in the same bed.." Hinata blushed a deep red, ever since the "incident" with Sakura, Naruto had picked up teasing habits from Kakashi.

"I-I-it's not that!" She stuttered out, "He's gonna get worried that I'm not there. I mean he knows we're together but he isn't too fond of the idea, unless it was hokage order I doubt he'd let me stay here." Naruto paused then thought of a brilliant idea. Tsunade found out about the whole thing with Sakura from Sakura herself and called Naruto in for his side of the story. She learned about the attempted suicide and said that someone should stay with him for the next few months. If he could get Hinata to be that person then Hinata would have an excuse to stay with him! He grinned and his new girlfriend took notice, "Why are you grinning like that?" She said, he grinned even bigger and told her his plan.

Hinata didn't even think of that, it seemed like her smarts were rubbing of on him though. "That sounds like a great idea Naruto-kun," she said to him as she packed away a few shirts into his closet. "Once I get the rest of my things unpacked and put up we can go see her." Naruto grinned at her. "Well in that case, shadow clone jutsu!" He said as two clones popped in and started to help to put Hinata's stuff up. Hinata smiled at the extra help and was grateful for it.

Naruto and Hinata, with the help of the clones, finished the job, and even tidied up the place a bit, in under two hours. After the clones dispersed they headed out to the hokage tower. The receptionist welcomes them in as they climbed the stairs to the hokage's office stairs to the main office.

Knock. Knock

"Open up old hag!" Naruto yelled to the door as Hinata hit him lightly on the arm. "Show some respect Naruto, She's probably just busy." Hinata scolded. Naruto grunted and continued knocking.

Knock knock. His knocks got louder. Knock knock

"UGH OPEN UP GRANNY!" He yelled as he knocked the door down. As the door fell he sweat dropped at the sight of the great fifth Hokage asleep on her worst enemy, paperwork. Hinata giggled at the sight. Those tiny giggles gave Naruto butterflies, and it also woke the kage up. "Ugh...my fucking head...ouch..." mumbled Tsunade. She slowly opened opened her eyes and saw the two holding hands. A small smile crept on Tsunade's face as she winks and said "Ooooh...the brat is getting flirty with the hyuga heir...Hiashi is gonna kill meeee..." Hinata giggles at the last part, "My father already knows hokage-sama." She said.

Tsunade sighed and pretended to wipe off her eyebrow. "Saves me a shot of sake," She mumbled. "Why are you guys here again?" She questioned. "Oh yeah, whoops I almost forgot. So the thing is Hiashi doesn't like the idea of me and Hinata dating and me and Hinata want to get an apartment together so we need you to tell Hiashi that Hinata is under a 'suicide watch' for me." Naruto explained.

Tsunade rubbed her temples, she knew this would be troublesome but she was willing to the extra paperwork for the person who she thought of as a brother. "Fine...just get me some damn grandchildren to spoil." She said as Hinata let out a 'eep' and passed out in Naruto's arms. Naruto on the other hand turned the color of a tomato and caught Hinata. Naruto places Hinata on his back and said thanks to Tsunade and left to place Hinata in his bed.
