History: Mayura was discovered in India by the scientists Jonathan Hudson and Ishiro Serizawa in 1972. Research at the time indicated that he was resting atop a deposit of uranium. Myths said that he was a Hindu peacock deity, and that he had fought a snakelike creature in the past. The identity of said snake is unknown.
In 2014, Mayura was awakened by the battle between Godzilla and Magna in Hawaii. The peacock followed Godzilla and, after a confrontation with the U.S.S. Phillips, gave him a nuclear reactor. Mayura would go on to assist Godzilla in his battle against Magna and Leviathan.
In 2016, Mayura and Garuda reappeared to assist Godzilla and Anguirus in their battle against the M.U.T.O.s and Rodan. After they subdued Rodan, the Red Bamboo released an Orca signal in Chicago, where they encountered Iron Man and destroyed the Trump Tower.
Mayura and Garuda returned to Mexico to provide backup for Godzilla, but it was unnecessary, as the King's Atomic Breath turned red and killed M.U.T.O. Prime. After the battle, the Titans went their separate ways.
Personality: Mayura has a passive attitude towards humans, and rarely interests himself in their affairs. One exception is when Bakunawa intervened in an attempted escape by HYDRA. The peacock Titan and his King joined the Dragon and confronted the agents.
Garuda is far more aggressive than her mate, proving this as she shoved Hokmuto through several mountains in her bloodthirsty rage. In Chicago, she pursued the Avenger's Quinjet between the buildings, and only stopped when the Orca signal was stopped.

Appearance and Powers
Mayura: Mayura is a peacock-like Titan. His eyes are similar to those of a bird of prey, and his beak and talons are much the same. His wings are tipped with two bony fingers and a thumb, allowing him to walk on all four limbs. His body is covered in blue feathers, and he possesses a pair of long feathers on his head that resemble eyebrows. His 'train' (the length of feathers on peacocks' backs) is on his tail, and makes up more than half his length.
Mayura's feathers are intermixed with metallic quills that come off, much like a porcupine's. He has been seen whipping his tail feathers at hi opponents, which throws the quills at his enemy. His feathers are coated with bioluminescent bacteria that glow green and blue in low-light conditions. His feathers also change color as the temperature changes, with cold destroying the pigments and heat favoring them. He possesses a larynx and a syrinx, which allows him a wide range of vocalizations: the larynx gives him a loud, high-pitched screech that can shatter glass; the syrinx enables him to emit a soft, song-like call, which acts as a mating call and/or a calmer for Titans.
Garuda: Garuda is similar in appearance to the goshawk, but has a much longer neck. Her gray feathers are speckled with orange spots, and thin orange lines can be seen along her wings.
Like her mate, Garuda has quills intermixed in her feathers that act similarly to porcupine quills. Her feathers do not have the temperature-reliant pigments that Mayura has, but she still retains the bioluminescent bacteria on her feathers. She also retains the larynx and the syrinx that her mate possesses.
