A.N. Woah, 52 favorites and 57 followers! Getting all those awesome reviews really pumped me up! Who knew writing could be so fun?

For your sanity and mine, I suggest you go watch/read the Naruto/Highschool DxD Light novel/Manga/Anime if you haven't.

Human/Devil/Angel/Yokai "Talking"

Human/Devil/Angel/Yokai 'Thoughts'

Bijuu/Dragon/God "Talking"

Bijuu/Dragon/God 'Thoughts'

I don't own the rights to Naruto!... But... Did you know that if you buy something that has a brand name, you don't actually own the rights? How messed up is that!? I spent 50 whole dollars on 10 Highschool DxD light novels and what does it get me? The product apparently.

Tch! Now! On with the story!

He couldn't believe it. An entire mountain-sized ramen bowl made by every person in the Elemental Nations, even the Bijuu! Naruto rubbed his hands together in anticipation of this divine prize before him. It was all his and his alone!

This was it. He was gonna do it and nobody could stop him! He began to strip all of his clothes until he was only in his favorite toad print boxers.

For whatever.. reason... Naruto giggled perversely "Gehehehe... Cannonball!"

So close! He flipped in the air so he was diving straight for the heavenly soup, mouth open wide.

Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be.

"Wake up! Naruto!.."

Naruto was suddenly jolted from his 'divine' dream "Urgh.."

Through twitching eyes Naruto could barely make out a slowly shrinking silhouette, it's a shape reminiscent of a fox. "Dammit... Kurama! Is that you?"

"About time. I almost resorted to showing you pictures of a naked Gai."

Now THAT woke him up. The very thought made him want to puke.

"Blegh- Please anything but that!" He was cursing that damn fox for putting such images in his head. He could already hear Kurama's uproarious barks of laughter.

Shaking any haziness away Naruto slightly sat up and surveyed the area they seemed to have landed.

It looked to be a large hill, or rather a mountain considering there was a fluffy blanket of clouds surrounding them. He could see the tips of a couple of mountains peeking through the clouds. Behind him, he could see a small boulder sticking out of the ground. He also noticed the mountain was covered with light vegetation and purple flowers, a kind which he has never seen before.

Sitting up, he turned his head to see Kurama relaxing next to him, nine long tails flowing proudly behind him. No longer was he the mountain dwarfing King of The Bijuu, he was much smaller in size- small enough to ride on top of Naruto's head. He was much leaner and softer while less-defined in shape with a rounder face... Like a fox cub. It was quite adorable really.

"I am NOT adorable. I am The Badass, the Great Lord Kyuubi!"

It didn't have much of an effect considering his voice came out high pitched.

"Motherfu-"

Naruto couldn't hear Kurama's vehement cursing, busy as he was laughing.

Glaring at the blonde menace Kurama growled "Never speak of this to anyone. Ever."

Simmering his laughing down to chuckles Naruto looked at his enemy turned best-friend "Yes, yes Lord Kurama."

Rolling his eyes Kurama returned his voice to normal "While I would like to do nothing more than punt you off of this mountain, we have more important things to discuss."

Naruto raised an eyebrow at that. Kurama never got like this unless it concerns himself or the Bijuu... or sleeping.

"I'm just gonna get straight to the point. We are no longer in the Elemental Nations, hell we aren't even in one of Kaguya's dimensions."

"..."

Naruto felt like he should have been in hysterics, But...

Kurama looked at Naruto wondering if he was going to explode in anger. It would all be for naught as it never came. It surprised Kurama to see his only friend not act like, well, Naruto.

"Now that you say it... I can't sense anyone with chakra."

"While you were still unconscious I spread out my senses to the surface to check in detail. ...These people don't have chakra pathways."

But that is.. "You need chakra to live, so how is that possible?"

"It isn't... Not for our people anyway."

"..Our? Oi... Kurama... you aren't suggesting what I think you are, right?"

"...Possibly." Kurama trotted over to Naruto and jumped on his head, curling some of his tails around himself.

Naruto sighed and slumped against a nearby boulder.

Sighing, Kurama looked down at his friend "I think we both need some time to think about this."

They descended into a comfortable silence for a few hours, silently contemplating what they recently discovered...

30 minutes later

Azure blue eyes curiously wandered the odd pink sky. He couldn't tell what time it was as this planet didn't have a sun. How is that possible? Don't have a clue.

His eyes wandered off the clouds meeting the form of his -dimension?- traveling companion.

"..."

"..."

"This.. new land... a new world... We could stay here." 'If we can even leave..'

Kurama looked at Naruto with a bit of surprise. "Really? I'm surprised you would think that considering everything you went through for our world."

"I...I.."

"..."

"...Are you sure about this Naruto? Are you truly ready to go through with something like this?" Kurama hopped off of Naruto's head and turned around to face him directly.

Naruto eyed Kurama curiously before gently pushing a hand through his blonde locks."...It's fine Kurama. This way we can keep all of the Bijuu safe, besides I've wanted to follow in my Godfather's footsteps for a while now... so while It might not be our world... I'm willing to give it a chance."

Kurama could only look at Naruto with pride. The little imp he used to loathe with all his being had matured into a young man... An unfortunate by-product of fighting in a war.

"...Enough about me! What about you Kurama? I'll only stay if you stay."

"...I already decided once we came here. The Elemental nations were getting mundane for me. I'm sure my siblings won't mind us leaving."

"Yeah... Hopefully, they wake up soon..."

Kurama sighed, turning his head to watch the clouds lazily drift by "...Well, until that time comes something interesting would be appreciated."

"Who knows Kurama... This world might just end up surprising us."

"...Perhaps.. but I think it's about time we leave this place."

Naruto nodded in agreement "As nice as this was I need to stretch out my legs."

Slightly shifting his body he placed a Hiraishin marker on the bolder, watching as it faded into the stone.

"By the way what's up with the transformation?" He had been curious about that since he saw it.

"It's nothing special. Just something all tailed beast can do."

"Oh-"

"-!"

Naruto suddenly turned his head to the right, focusing on something unseen...

"Hmm... Feel that Kurama?" Naruto said, lifting himself so he was standing.

Kurama grinned jumping down to Naruto's shoulder "Indeed. Maybe it's something interesting?"

"Well, we won't know until we find out!" He placed his hands in the Ram sign and soon after they both disappeared in a swirl of leaves.

Naruto and Kurama flickered into existence on the tip of a pointy mountain. The area they arrived in was filled with mountains and small floating islands, although there was a larger island towards the center where a battle seemed to have taken place.

"Well... I wasn't expecting this."

"You can say that again.."

A group of about 10 people, some with wings, are watching as a giant red dragon flew in front of them, it's massive body seemingly gliding across the sky.

Naruto's eyes widened as he looked at the dragon "Woah that thing is badass... and if I'm sensing right, that giant red dragon is just as strong as you!"

"...Tch! As if!" Kurama said as his brow twitched, unable to accept some puny dragon being as strong as him.

Naruto rolled his eyes and curiously looked on as the black-haired girl with the strange black outfit pointed at the giant red dragon. He couldn't get a read on her emotions for some strange reason but he could sense that she was strong, almost as strong as the giant red dragon.

"She smells of snakes..." Kurama said as he and eyed the group.

'It's always snakes, isn't it? ...Why is it always snakes..?'

"Humph! She is not a threat. None of these beings are a threat. We are plenty enough to deal with them."

Naruto snorted and glanced down at the group.

...

The snake girl was staring at them.

Naruto shivered at her emotionless stare "How does she know?"

Kurama carelessly shrugged. "Us shouting at each other probably didn't help."

Kurama bounded off of Naruto's shoulder and latched onto one of the dragon's passing wings.

"Oi! What are you doing?" Naruto said as he landed next to Kurama.

Naruto and Kurama looked on in surprise as the dragon made a portal very similar to the one they entered in.

Kurama narrowed his eyes at the dragon "It doesn't really matter at this point but this dragon might have answers..."

~Chapter End~

Guh.. the Second chapter is done. How the hell do people write so fast? I spent 5 days doing this one chapter! 5 DAYS! (I had already started this before I posted my first chapter) So... weekly updates are not guaranteed.. but updates are. Now, don't worry, I WILL complete this story! But for now.. time to go read the light novels! ...Yes, I did skip to volume 6 because I was split on whether to start the fic before the LN begins or somewhere around volume 7. I watched the anime (like a year ago lol) but I want to get a thorough understanding of the DXD universe.

Okay, next! This is only the second chapter so some things won't make sense, so please don't complain about how this or that doesn't make sense when it's only, as I said earlier, the second chapter.

Again constructive criticism is appreciated! What I can do better and how to do it. Things like that. I would like to get better after all!

Review, follow and a favorite maybe? ;)

~See ya next chapter!
