Chapter Two

Addison's POV

I wake up the next morning feeling a bit uneasy and a little like last night was a dream, but the thought is quickly dashed when I see a text from Wyatt asking if I was ok with everything that happened. I sigh and respond saying I'm okay and would see him at school. Turns out, werewolves do like some tech, the moonstones might not work well with some tech, but cellphones are ok. I get up and get ready for the day. I check my makeup once more to make sure everything is how it should be. I eat a quick breakfast and head to school. I spot my best friend Bree on the way and we chat a bit, but my head isn't focused on the usual cheer squad conversation and I think she doesn't notice. Well at least I wont have her worrying about me while I figure this out. I mean can I really stay with Zed knowing that Wyatt is my mate? Would that be fair to either of us involved? I think these things to myself and I am pulled from my thought spiral by Bree tugging on my arm letting me know that the Z crew is making their way towards us. I also notice that they aren't the only group coming up, Wyatt and the wolf pack are here, without really noticing my bad mood instantly perks up. Zed greets me with his usual hug, so does Eliza and Wyatt.

"Hey Zom-bae, how are you this morning?" I ask Eliza.

"I'm doing good Addie, I'm expecting a good day in the computer coding club after school today." She tells me and smiles.

"Hey, Eliza, do you mind talking to me about something later? I don't want to make a big deal, but I could use some advice and I'm not sure who else to really talk to since this is kinda weird."

"Sure, Addie, but is everything alright? Do you need to head away now?" She asks. I think for a second.

"You know what, yeah let's head to the Zombie safe room." I answer and turn to everyone. "Hey me and Eliza will be back." I say and drag Eliza off.

We walk off for a few minutes and find the closest safe room. I tug her in and lock the door.

"Okay, Addie, what's up?" She asks me.

"Okay, so did you notice the weird energy surge and that loud crash last night?" I ask her, hoping she doesn't think I'm nuts.

"Yeah, it was weird I was on my computer working on a project for the coding club when it happened." She answers.

"Good I'm not crazy then. I mean when Wyatt texted me this morning reminding me that the craziness last night wasn't a dream, I was ok, but now...it's just a lot to take in." I pause and see her confused face. I sigh and continue. "I figured out what I am Eliza. I mean the reason my hair is white and a bunch of other personality traits that no one else in my family had."

"Alright, that is big. So what's the verdict? I mean I know you're not a werewolf, but the moonstone does react to you." She asks.

"Apparently I come from a thought extinct supernatural creature called a Fae or fairy, but at the same time I guess I'm an alien." I answer.

"So you're like Tinkerbell? Actually, that does kinda make sense. You do have a weird way of attracting supernatural things to you. So spill how did you find out and what does Wyatt have to do with it?" She asks me.

"Well last night after the radio in my room kept turning on and off I couldn't sleep. Then the crash happened and I took off into the Forbidden Forest to find out what happened since that's where it sound like it came from, on the way there I ran into Wyatt and found out we were both trying to figure out the crash. We found this weird ship and according to Wyatt it smelled like the moonstone, but different and my hair and both our necklaces were glowing this weird blue color. I felt this urge to reach out and touch the ship and when I did it like electrocuted me a bit, it opened and there were these two pale skinned people with the same hair color as I had. They woke up and explained everything to me about who I am, why the wolves had the crystal saying I am the Great Alpha, and they said they will be staying here now that it's safe for my people to come home. That's not all." I answer and wait to make sure she processes.

"Okay...so you're a fairy, but how did they know you were here and what does Wyatt think?" She asks.

"Well apparently the moonstone for the Great Alpha acted like a homing beacon to let them know I was found. So from what I was told, my people left because of humans and their greed. When they were in the process of leaving, a part of their ship fell to the ground and that was the moonstone. According to them, this whole thing werewolves and zombies came from the moonstone and its energy. Wyatt took everything well it even explained things for them." I answer and feel my face heating up remembering the talks about Wyatt being my mate.

"Fair enough. What's with the flush Addie? What aren't you telling me?" She asked with a suspicious look.

"Well...I'm kind of their princess and next in line to lead them. I have to be trained on their ways and how to fight like them and a werewolf" I answer and sigh, pausing slightly. "Eliza..I have a life mate."

"What!? Who is it? Do you know yet? What about you and Zed?" She asks back to back.

"The think is...Wyatt is my mate. Also, if I don't want to date Wyatt I don't have to, but what do I do about Zed? I mean I love him, but if I'm magically tied to someone else where does that leave everything?" I start to panic.

"Hm...well honestly. I don't think it's fair for either of you three if you don't at least discuss things first. I mean if you hide it you wont be able to figure things out without really hurting everyone, even yourself. So my advice is to talk to them both. Since Wyatt knows, it would be best for you both to talk to Zed and explain things. You guys can figure things out from there." She answers and hugs me. "We should get to classes." She says and we both leave.

During class, I text Wyatt letting him know that Zed, him, and I need to talk at lunch about everything. I send a message to Zed telling him to meet me in the Zombie safe room that we first met in, I also let him know that Wyatt will be there and it's important. The first half of the day seems to go by quickly and I make my way nervously to the Zombie safe room. Lucky for me I'm first to get there. I smile when I see Wyatt walk in and give him a hug, I feel him nuzzle into my hair again and a purr of contentment comes from him. I sigh repeating the action and we let go. A few minutes later Zed walks in.

"Hey, Addie, what's going on? Why do all three of us need to be here?" He asks nervously.

"Well, I guess I should start from the beginning?" I half ask and see Wyatt nod knowing what the conversation is. I explain the whole situation about the crash, finding Wyatt in the forest on my way to check it out, and everything else about what I discovered about my heritage.

"Ok so mystery solved then, you know where your people are and they are going to be coming down when everything is set up. Why do I feel like there's more?" He asks. This time Wyatt takes over.

"Well here's the thing, you know how us supernatural creatures have mates?" He asks Zed.

"Yeah, I feel a draw to Addison it's why I can't leave her alone. Why?" He asks Wyatt.

"You're not the only one who feels a pull to Addison. Every creature, human or supernatural, is naturally drawn to her because of what she is, but like us she will only have one true mate." Wyatt says and pauses. "Now, keep in mind just because someone is a soulmate doesn't mean it has to be romantic it can be anything the two need it to be and that will go for this situation to...Addison is my mate, Zed." He says.

"Addison...is your mate? How do you know for sure?" He asks Wyatt.

"First is the usual by pull or scent. Second is that it was foretold by the elders that the eldest son to the true alpha would be mated to the Great Alpha and lead her to our people. Well I'm the oldest son of the last true Alpha and Addison confirmed by the crystal the wolf den and by the two fairies that are here that she is the one that was foretold on the crystal. I knew she was my mate when I first saw her in the wood, but she didn't find out till last night." He explains to Zed.

"I don't know what to do from here, Zed? I love you I do, but I've always felt a pull to the wolves and specifically Wyatt. I feel that I need him which is why when they still named me Great Alpha after the moonstone yesterday, I kept him in his position instead of putting him somewhere else in the order." I say to him and hug him close. "Nothing and I mean nothing will change how important you are to me, but what do you want to do?" I ask him, he holds me and I hear him sigh.

"Addison...I love you. I wont keep you from being with your mate. All I ask is that you and me are close. I wont lose you to anyone." He looks at me and kisses my forehead I smile. He turns to Wyatt. "And if you so much as step a toe out of line I will end you for Addie. I wont let you hurt her." He threatens Wyatt we both nod. "I'm going to eat lunch, you two should talk." He says and waves leaving the Zombie room. Wyatt walks up to me and hugs me. He can seem to tell when I'm about to cry, and cry is what I do. I bury my head in his chest and cry hard. I mean I did just break up with my first boyfriend. He holds me until my crying calms down.

"Addie, you know we don't have to rush into a relationship right now. I wont push you to be mine until you're ready." He rests tilts my head up and nuzzles my cheek before resting his forehead on mine. "I'll wait for you for as long as you need. You're my mate and I want you to be happy. I want you to choose me because you want me not because you're sad and need a new guy."

"I know Wyatt, I do care about you. I always have, but you're right I need some time to switch from loving Zed as a boyfriend to loving him like a brother." I smile at him and wrap my arms around his neck, feeling his slide to my waist. "Thank you." I whisper and kiss his cheek.
