Chapter 2 The Mystery Begins
"
Tessa watched as Jax walked to the pick up. He had this self-assured hip swinging walk that was sexy as hell. It wasn't accidental. He knew the devastating effect it had on women. No man should be allowed to be that sexy. It was no wonder he thought he was God's gift to women.
He left without even jumping her. She smiled at her phrasing. If he jumpstarted her car now, the battery would just die again. He would jumpstart her car after the quarantine was over.
The guy at the garage was shocked when she paid him to follow her home, take the perfectly good battery out of her car, put in an old dead one and hook up the battery cables. He'd taken the money though.
She went inside her guest cottage and made another call on her cell phone.
"Thanks, Chuckie," she said. "It worked perfectly. I already left the money under the flower part by your front door."
"You're the best Tessa."
Tessa ended the call. It was an open secret among the women in Charming that slipping a little money to Chuckie could get a Jax Teller service call to your house. Jax had no idea or at least he'd never let on that he questioned why he got so many service calls for jumpstarts when the batteries weren't dead and it turned out the battery cables were just loose. An unsurprising number of these service calls ended in sex.
Jax was sort of an unpaid sex worker or a sexual missionary bringing great sex to the hungry women of Charming. It was his way of making the world a better place.
Before he could return, she made one last phone call.
"You were perfect. I actually believed you were a nurse from the health department. You sounded so official."
The woman laughed.
"Thanks to you and your script. I just read from that and lowered my voice so I would sound more professional. Is he going to stay?"
"How can you doubt me like that?" Tessa said.
"Well, that's true. We are talking about Jax Teller."
"He told me that he had a roommate and wasn't sure how the quarantine was going to work. Of course since I'm new in town, I have no idea that he's lying to me about the roommate."
The woman laughed so hard she snorted. That made Tessa giggle.
"Have you figured out what you're going to do to him yet?"
"I've got 14 whole days with him," Tessa said. "I'll figure something out."
"He thinks he's so damned smart, but he's just been scammed into a 14 day quarantine."
Tessa giggled.
"If I get bored with him, I can always tell him I just found out from the health department that it was a false positive or even better, I can tell him the truth."
"You have got to tell me what's going on with the two of you."
"I'll have to call you spy style from the bathroom with the shower running so there's no chance he'll hear me. Gotta go. He's pulling in on his bike now. He went by his place to pick up some clothes."
Tessa smiled as she watched him back his bike into the driveway. Let the fun begin!

Author's Note: This is the story's last time as a "T" rated story. It's growing up and moving to the "M" rated section. The next chapter is going to be naughty with a twist.
The mysterious unidentified woman is an SOA character from the show's first few seasons meaning it isn't someone who appeared in only the later seasons and you will recognize the name.
This is going to be a very different story from any fanfic, so follow, review, favorite and hang on for the ride.
