Chapter 2
Kipp sat down on his couch watching TV. Kyle walked into the house, wearing a buttoned-up shirt and some skin-tight jeans. Kipp looked at his son.
"Hey, Dad," Kyle said.
"What are you wearing?" Kipp asked.
"Camille said I needed to start wearing better clothes," Kyle replied. "So she got me these."
"They look really tight," Kipp said.
"They are," Kyle said. "They're skinny jeans."
"But you hate skinny jeans," Kipp said.
"Not anymore," Kyle said. "Camille says I love them. Isn't she great?"
"Kyle," Kipp said. "You've been dating Camille for three weeks now. So far, she's made you eat sushi and now controlled what you wear. I don't think she's right for you."
"I love her," Kyle said. "Well, I'd better get to the coffee shop. Camille is helping me pick out colors."
Kyle left and Beaver, Kevin, and Kylie walked into the house.
"Kipp," Beaver said. "We have to talk."
"What's up, Dad?" Kipp asked.
"It's about Kyle and that Camille Rutherford," Beaver said.
"Yeah," Kevin said. "She's awful."
"She has got to go," Kylie said.
"I tried talking to him, but he's smitten," Kipp said.
"We have to do something about her and fast," Beaver said.
"Yeah," Kevin said. "She even convinced Dad that we have to go to bed at 6:30."
Meanwhile at the coffee house, Neddie, Kyle, and Camille looked at paint samples.
"Okay," Neddie said. "Should we do the dark blue, or the light blue?"
"Well," Kyle said. "I think we should…"
"Blue doesn't really compliment these walls," Camille said. "I think you should paint it orange."
"Orange?" Neddie asked. "Are you serious?"
"Orange is such a pretty color," Camille said. "Don't you agree, Kyle?"
"Absolutely," Kyle replied.
"Kyle," Neddie said. "You hate orange!"
"No I don't," Kyle said. "I love it. We're painting the walls orange."
"Come on, Kyle," Camille said. "Let's go to lunch."
Kyle and Camille exited the coffee house as Freddie entered.
"Hey, Son," Freddie said.
"Dad," Neddie said. "We have got to do something about Camille Rutherford!"
