Here it is, chapter two.
First off, Thank you so much to the 113 people who looked at this on the first two days, as of me beginning to write this. I never expected one of my stories to shoot off that fast! I've taken some advice given to me by a user that the relationship was progressing too fast between Azura and Tina, so I'm going to try and change that for future chapters.
Disclaimer, I do not own pokemon.
The two Umbreon had just left the den of the Blizzards when they heard someone scream. Azura, opted to leave it, but his dad, made sure he changed his mind. So, the two dark type pokemon headed off in the direction of the scream.
"H-help! P-please. Get these spearow away!" A young Vaporeon shouted, hoping that someone would hear his call for help. What he didn't realise, was that someone did exactly that. One second, the gang of roughly 16 spearow are attacking him, the next. They're all engulfed in a dark blast of energy.
"Hey. Are you alright Vaporeon?" The Vaporeon looked up to see the owner of the voice he had just heard.
"O-oh. U-uh yeah. I-I'm fine thanks." The vaporeon was sure that he had seen this pokemon before, but couldn't remember what it was.
"I'm Max, An Umbreon. We heard your shout for help, and came as fast as we could to help you. So don't be scared." The muscular Umbreon said reassuringly to the terrified Vaporeon.
"B-b-but t-t-there's t-t-two o-of y-you." He stammered.
Reminds me of someone else...
I have no idea who you're talking about.
"U-uh h-h-hi, I-I'm A-Azura. N-n-nice t-to meet y-you s-sir." The much less muscular moonlight pokemon stammered, trying desperately not to stammer any more, so he decided to avoid further conversation.
"Azura here is, well let's just say he's shy. Very shy." Max explained to the worried Vaporeon.
"O-oh. O-okay. I'm Krystal." Max now observed that the Vaporeon was not blue. but was instead purple.
"Are you sure that you're okay? Your scales aren't the right colour..." The Umbreon asked.
"O-oh! T-t-that... W-well, you see. I'm a s-shiny p-p-pokemon." The Vaporeon replied, talking so quiet he was essentially not talking.
"Oh. That explains it. Azura's a shiny too, but he doesn't know that yet, because he has never let his rings glow. He's too scared to." Max replied to the Vaporeon, equally as quiet.
"Ouch! M-m-my tail..." The Vaporeon managed to say before passing out.
"Krystal, Are you okay?!" The now worried Max asked the unconscious Pokemon.
...
"Azura, help me lift him. We're taking him to our den. He's too hurt to carry on alone." The Umbreon said to his son. "You'll probably have to illuminate your rings so you can see."
The two moonlight pokemon did exactly that and began to carefully walk back to their den.
"Dad, why is the light becoming green between us?" Azura asked.
"I'll explain when we get back. It's too risky to say in the open." His dad responded.
Just before the two pokemon reached their den, the Vaporeon awoke, seeing Azura's rings glowing brightly.
"U-u-uh w-w-where a-are w-we?" He asked cautiously.
"W-w-we're a-a-at m-my d-den. D-dad wanted t-to h-help y-you." The nervous umbreon replied, but not without stuttering of course.
Man, this vaporeon is really kind, but also timid. Kinda like me. I think we should be friends.
Are you suure you don't loove him?
Uhh Dude, I'm straight. You of all people should know. Being me and all.
"O-oh t-thanks. T-that was v-very kind of you M-M-Max." The Vaporeon said to the older Umbreon.
"That's fine. I can't stand seeing pokemon of our species in pain. Apart from some very specific Espeon. The mean ones. I had to deal with one earlier... Attacking Anne Blizzards." The Umbreon said.
"A-a-anne Blizzards? She's a G-G-Glaceon r-r-right?" He asked.
"Yeah. She is. Why?" The Umbreon inquired.
"U-u-uh. I-i-is s-she s-still with that L-Leafeon?" The Vaporeon began to blush slightly.
"Y-yeah. She's still with the Leafeon, and her Daughter." The muscular moonlight pokemon was becoming wary.
"O-o-oh. N-n-n-never mind. I-I-I didn't ask that." The Vaporen's blush instantly vanished.
"Wait. You don't happen to-" The umbreon was cut off as a certain purple tail covered his mouth.
"Ouch! Worth it. And to answer you. No! I don't." The vaporeon was clearly angered, but was also in pain, so he gave up and put his tail back onto the floor. "If you don't mind, I'm going to sleep."
"Sure. Go ahead." The older Umbreon said.
Why couldn't I talk to that umbreon for longer? The way he just sits silently staring into space is adorable. And the way he stutters is cute, albeit slightly irritating...
You can't win them all. No-one's perfect.
Yeah. True. But still, I can tell he likes me. Whenever he looks at me his face instantly becomes a light shade of pink. Don't ask how that's possible, I don't know either. But, what I do know is it's cute.
"Hey, Tina. Can I ask you something?" A certain Leafeon asked his daughter.
"Y-yeah. What's up dad?" She asked.
"How would you feel if I told you that you were going to be an older sister?" He asked, not knowing how his daughter would react, he braced himself for the worst.
"Are you kidding me? That would be awesome!" She replied, almost too happily.
"Well then, you'll be happy next week when the egg comes..." He tailed off, lost in thought about what to name the baby Eevee. Throwing several ideas at himself, depending on the youngster's gender when it hatched.
"Really? Next Week?!" Tina asked her dad, rubbing her head against his side with affection.
"Huh? Oh uh yeah. I'm serious. Next week, although it probably won't hatch for a couple of months." The Leafeon replied. Snapping back into reality.
Hmm. I hope that my little sibling will be a girl. I'd love to have a younger sister.
You never know what could happen. Jirachi might lend a hand...
Really? You think so?
You never know. Like I said.
*Four days later*
The Blizzards family have been doing fine over the last four days. Nothing exciting happened, and Tina was less grumpy around her parents, Although she hadn't seen Azura in a while. Her dad was home temporarily whilst he recovered from a fight with a Typhlosion that well... didn't go in his favour we'll say.
"Anne, I can't do this whole doing nothing thing. It's too boring. I want to go out and fight again." The leafeon moaned to his mate.
"Well. Maybe stop picking fights with fire types? That might help you. And for the love of Arceus don't try fighting any charizard." The Glaceon replied. She had to remind him of his mistake, or he would never learn.
"Charizard is the perfect pokemon to battle. It helps me know what both fire and flying types do when faced with a grass type..." He tailed off as he realised there was no changing his mate's view on the matter.
"Yes. I know that, but you'll get burnt to a crisp by charizard. Their fire is hot enough to melt rocks Will!" She snapped, beginning to lose her temper.
"Woah. Okay, calm down please. I don't want to fight you either mrs ice type..." He replied, attempting to calm his mate.
"Hey mum, is everything okay?" Tina asked, having walked out of her spot in the very back of the den to her parent's designated 'Bedroom'.
"Huh? Oh yeah we're fine honey. Your dad just wants to do something. Specifically fight a Charizard." Her mother replied.
"HE WHAT?! Dad, that's literally begging to be killed by it. You are partially made of leaves." Tina replied, shocked at her dad's craziness. But also worried about his safety, as she knew how dangerous Charizard was to grass types. Especially since there were rumours of a tribe of Charizard, led by the two Mega Evolutions.
"Look Tina, I'm sorry. Don't worry about me, I learned my lesson. what from Typhlosion and now you and your mum. I'm outnumbered type wise." The Leafeon reassured his daughter. "I mean look at me, I'm not allowed to leave the den for another two days. And I'm not allowed to fight for 2 weeks."
"I'm happy about that dad. I worry about you every time you leave the house. Haven't you heard about the 'zard tribe?" Tina explained to her dad.
"The 'zard tribe... Oh you mean that tribe of charizards. Yes I've heard a lot about them." He replied
"Well, I heard that last week, they murdered a group of 4 Leafeon, 2 Venusaur, a Meganium and a mega Glalie... They killed four of you." Tina said, her frame beginning to shudder.
"Hey. I'll be fine, don't worry about me. I'm fast enough to outrun Manectric and Jolteon."
*Inaudible words between sobs from Tina*
"Tina, why don't you head back to your 'room' at the back of the den?" Her mother asked her.
"T-thanks m-m-mum. I-I will." Tina managed to say between her sobs.
Man. I hope Tina's okay. We should never have started that conversation. I'm such a bad father. What did she do to deserve me?
Oh shut up would you? She'll be fine.
Who the hell are you?
I'm you. Well, your inner conscience.
Oh right then.
"Will, love. Tina will be fine. She's just terrified for your safety. Especially because of what those charizards did. we need the squirtle squad to evolve or something." Anne said to her beloved partner.
"That wouldn't work. There are only 5 squirtle, there's about 20 Charizards, not including the two megas. We need kyogre to help out. Which he won't because he would need to be primal, and so Rayquaza would come and take the power away from him, and also turn him to stone for a few years..." The Leafeon was beginning to lose hope in ever having his daughter be able to not worry about him as he said this.
"No. You're forgetting that blastoise is as strong as it is-" she was cut off by Will
"NO! You're not getting it. Charizard in large numbers are dangerous. With both mega evolutions coming to help too, means there's a dragon in the debate! You would need at least 30 Blastoise, with 6 mega Blastoise!" He shouted. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lost my temper there."
"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT ONE DAY!" The Leafeon was beginning to shake now.
What happened to her?
No clue. just stay silent. For your own safety. She has the type advantage, and you're not exactly healthy right now.
Yeah, I knew I could count on... Me?... For some good advice.
*Several minutes later.*
"Sorry Will, I don't know what came over me there." She said, before falling unconscious.
The Leafeon managed to get up off of the floor, and move over to his mate, to curl around her protectively until she came to.
Meanwhile, With the Breon duo. Nothing interesting at all had happened. Except that Vaporeon they had helped, Krystal, coming back into tip top shape, and fully healthy to take on the world. Or so he thought.
"It's good to know that you're okay Krystal. Feel free to stay here if you'd like." The older Umbreon said to her.
"Y-y-yeah. W-w-would y-you m-mind if I d-did?" He asked.
"Of course not. We'll accept you with open paws any time. Azura might take a while to get used to you, but he will." The older Umbreon said to the Vaporeon. Being pulled into an unexpected hug.
"Thank you so much Max. You have no idea how much this means to me." The Vaporeon said, beginning to cry.
"You're right. I don't. But you needed help, and it's the family nature to help when pokemon need help." The Umbreon replied, regaining his senses after the unexpected hug from the Vaporeon.
"Hey da- What's going on exactly?" Azura asked, wondering what he'd walked into.
"Krystal is staying with us son. He didn't want to leave, he's scared that the spearow will attack him again." His dad replied.
"O-oh. Okay." The younger Umbreon replied. Realising this would mean that he essentially had either an uncle, or a brother. "When are we next visiting the Blizzards?"
"I'm not too sure Azura bud." Max replied.
Here we are. Sorry that there's an abrupt ending to this one, but i thought I should ask this. Which character would you guys like to see the next chapter in the perspective of? Excluding Anne and Max. I can't think of enough to write a chapter from their viewpoint. The chapter written in your chosen character's perspective, will probably be Chapter 4.
Once again, I can't thank you all enough for the amount of views that this story has had. It beat both of my other stories in just two days. And is still out on top. Therefore, I can't thank you all enough.
that's all from me, until next chapter. ShinyUmbreonLover out
