Hey guys! I hope you're enjoying the story so far!

Also I thing I would like to point out is that this story is mostly Todomomo centric; But there will be moments with other characters. Just for the sake of this story, it starts with the Todorokis.

Chapter 2: I wish that I could tell you

Shoto placed his suitcase on the ground, pulling the handle up before slamming the car trunk closed. He faced his wife one last time before he was about to head inside the train station.

"I'll be back next Thursday. You think you can wait?" He teased.

She laughs. "I think I can." she replies, wrapping her arms around his neck, gently pulling him down for a kiss. The people around them were ignored, it was just the two of them for a moment, trapped in their own personal bubble.

He breaks off slowly, smiling down at her. "Good. I love you."

"I love you."

He turns and grabs the suitcase, dragging it along, making his way into the station. He even spares her a glance when he opens one of the main doors, seeing her waving him goodbye. He does to, before continuing to walk in and disappear from Momo's sight. Once he was, her loving face turned into panic again. She slid into the driverseat of their teal color car, buckling in and was ready to drive…

But she let her head drop onto the steering wheel.

"Oh… What am I going to do?" She sighs. "I need help."

Her eyes went to her phone lying in the cup holding, names racing across her mind.

"Maybe I could call my girlfriends?" Her shaky hand reached for her phone, only to coil back. She shakes her head. "No. They're not really good at keeping a secret, plus, they're all working today. Then who should I call?"

Momo thought long and hard, before a name flashed before her.

"Is he off today?" She thinks again. "Yes. He is. I should give him a call."

She thought about reaching for her phone again, before she realizes it would be better if she went to him in person instead. She turns the car on, and pulls away from the curb.

*Break*

Knuckles brushed the door, knocking loudly but lightly. It was still somewhat early, just barely eight o'clock, but knowing him, he was already up. She waited patiently, but inside she was anxious, the feeling of morning sickness wasn't helping her cause either.

She touched her stomach with one hand, reaching up with the other to knock again, but the sound of the door unlocking made her stop. A taller man opened the door, his blue eyes squinting out into the bright, Autumn day, his glasses askew.

"Momo? Is that you?" He asked.

"Hi, Tenya." She replies.

Tenya opened the door wider, surprised doused in his words. "My god, I didn't know you were stopping by. Are you doing some patrolling in the area?"

She shakes her head. "No, I actually called off work today."

Concern crossed his face. "Call off? Are you okay? You rarely do that."

She looks at the ground for a second, frowning. "Sort of. I'm sorry to drop by unannounced, but…" Her onyx eyes met his sapphire ones in almost a pleading way. "I really need your help."

He smiles lightly. "Well, you know you can always come to me for anything, Momo. I'm here to help."

"Thank you, Tenya."

"Now. What's the thing you need help with?"

"Well…"

Her eyes met the ground again, trying to figure out how to put this without 'malfunctioning' him. She looks back up at him.

"You're becoming an Uncle again." She says.

He tilts his head in confusion, brows furrowed together, until..

His eyes widened…

And mouth opened and yelled...

"I'M WHAT?!"

*Break*

Tenya Iida, The pro hero: Ingenium, sat on his living room couch with the Everything hero: Creati, or Momo Todoroki; trying to process this new set of information. His conjoined hands were over his mouth and nose, wheels turning in his head, thinking. Momo sat back, hands on her lap and she held a worrisome look for him.

"So, let me get this straight, you're pregnant?" He asked her, point blank.

She nods. "Yeah." she says, slowly.

"How long?"

"The doctor says two weeks."

"The doctor?" He sounded worried again, but Momo wasn't sure if it was for her or her unborn child.

"To make a long story short, I got injured in a previous battle, and the doctor ran a blood test. He called me up and told me I was pregnant. I haven't told Shoto yet though."

Tenya exhaled loudly, untangling his hands. "So, I'm an Uncle again?"

He was already an Uncle from about a year ago, when his older brother, Tensei, became a dad. Tensei actually married Shoto's older sister, Fuyumi, making the four of them family; And since Momo married Shoto, she was now part of the whole Todoroki-Iida family mix.

Which is why, Tenya's considered an Uncle to Momo and Shoto's baby.

"I believe so." Momo replies.

To her surprise, He smiled. "That's great! Congrats!" He says, cheery. But she wasn't smiling like he was. His face fell into a frown. "Aren't you happy?"

"I am, but… I don't know what to do."

"What do you mean?

"I mean, I would love to have a kid, it's Shoto I'm a little about."

"What do you mean by that?" His eyes narrowed a bit, almost in a protective like way. "Did Shoto do something to you?"

"Whoa! No! Shoto's fine! He didn't do anything, don't worry." She waves her hands in the air, waving him off. Relief crossed his face.

"Sorry, Just checking."

"It's okay."

"So, does he not want kids?" That was the man's next guess, but Momo shook her head 'no.

"We've talked about it, and he wants one, but he's worried about his family's history."

"Oh,You mean his dad?"

"Yeah. He's afraid… that he'll become his father once we have kids. I mean, you know his background, it's not a surprise he would think that."

"But, Shoto's not his father. He should know that by now."

Momo bites her lip, remembering all the stories Shoto's told about his childhood; the stories about the abuse and isolation. It made her shiver visibly. "I think deep down he knows he's not his father, but he still has his doubts. I'm just afraid that fear of being his father will cloud his mind too much."

Her eyes stung a little with tears, till she felt Tenya's comforting hand on top of hers. She looks up seeing him giving her a warm smile.

"Look, I can't really tell you what to do, that's up to you and Shoto. But, whatever you do, I'll back you up either way, and I'm sure any of our friends will, too." He replies.

She wipes her eyes with the back of her hand. "Thank you, Tenya." She sobbed, quietly.

The adults' comforting silence was interrupted when the door leading into the garage busted wide open. With a cough and some smoke, a girl with long pink hair and golden eyes stumbled out, her jumpsuit covered in what looked like oil.

"Oh, Damn, that didn't work." She said.

Tenya shot straight up. "Mei! I told you not to open that door when you're working! Now you brought in all this smoke!" He said, watching her approach him.

"Sorry. That damn jet pack's giving me trouble again."

Momo coughed, alerted Ingenium. "Maybe you should go outside, Momo. The smoke's probably not good for the baby." He said.

Mei's head perks up, her unique eyes lighting up. "A baby? Where?!" She asked.

Momo chuckles, patting her stomach. "Here. I'm having one."

Mei gasps. "Oh my god! Congrats!" She gives the brunette a hug. "I Love babies. How long?"

"Two weeks."

"Amazing. Is that why you're here, to tell us?"

"For the most part, yes."

"Awesome!" She turns to pat her husband's chest, smirking. "We should celebrate, Tenya! Let's go for a big breakfast!"

"Uh…" Tenya stuttered, clearly caught off guard by her sudden change in subject.

"Come on! I'll go change!"

She heads up stairs, and Momo bursts out laughing, earning a sigh from Tenya. "There's no saying no to her." He says.

"It's alright, Tenya. I know how much Mei loves kids." Momo replies.

"It's true that she does." He puts a hand on her shoulder. "Well, come on, I guess we're going to get breakfast. My treat."

The expecting Mother smiled, fondly. "That sounds lovely."

*Break*

Blonde hair shone brightly, aqua eyes hidden behind glasses. An announcer with purple hair. People's thunderous clapping.

Then, there was violence. Glass shattering above, guns shot into the air.

People were fleeing and screaming.

Someone with pink hair latched around her arm, pulling her away. There were flashes of people she knew. They both stumbled.

More people entered the room, attacking. She felt more arms latched around her, squeezing her stomach. She felt fingers around her neck and then…

Blood.

Red, white, green, and blonde hair came into her view. Two of them screaming her name, tears in their eyes as she could feel herself fading fast….

Momo shot up, gasping for air. Sweat covered her body, soaking her clothes, matting her hair. She took in shaky breaths, looking around in her dark bedroom. Then, a wave of nausea hit, feeling ill as she sprung from the bed and raced to the bathroom where she threw up into the toilet bowl. The woman didn't know if she was ill from being pregnant, or from the night terror she just had.

With a loud moan, she laid her head against the bowl, closing her eyes. It's been seven days since she talked to Tenya and Mei, seven long days of her feeling sick in more ways than one, and it was also the day her husband returned from his business trip. He was returning home tonight with their classmates from UA high, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo.

Both herself, along with Ochako Midoriya and Eijiro Kirishima, agreed to meet up at the train station to greet their spouses home, which means,

"I'm going to have to tell him." She mumbled to herself.

She slowly shifted her position on the floor, allowing her back to rest again the cabinet. A hand laid on her stomach, the other hand touched her neck.

"That was a weird dream… a scary one."

Her worrisome eyes looked down on her womb, rubbing it with her fingers slowly.

"I didn't think one baby could make me feel this sick."

She couldn't help but smile.

"Causing Mommy trouble already, you truly are our baby. I'm sure Shoto's going to love you."

She frowned a bit, but she shook her head.

"No, he will. If he can pass that doubt of his past, then I just know he'll be the best father ever."

She traced an imaginary heart on her stomach, a huge smile playing on her lips.

"I know he will. I can just feel it."

*Break*

Momo walked along the sidewalk, heading inside the station. She stopped and looked around for some familiar faces. "Now, where are they?"

"Momo!"

She looks up, spotting someone running over, long brunette hair flying behind her. "Ochako!"

"Momo!" the hero named Uravity made her way over. "Momo, I'm glad to see you, It's been a while."

"Yes,it has. I saw on the news about that falling building you caught with your quirk, that was quite the save, congrats." Momo said with a smile.

Her already pink cheeks darken, giving a nervous laugh. "Thank you. It was so nerve-racking, I'm surprised that I managed to hold it for that long." Ochako replies, flustered.

Momo chuckled, before catching some passerby's eyes. She noticed that some people in the train were staring in their direction, some even had their phones out. Her face fell into a frown, sighing quietly.

"Um, Ochako, we might have-" She notices her friend was now staring at her, making her feel slightly uncomfortable and confused. "Um, Ochako? What are you doing?"

The brunette tilted her head, looking like she's trying to find something. "Your… hair's shiny, and your skin looks…" she began, and Momo's face started to heat up.

"Oh no, did she…?" Momo thought.

Her fears came back to her when she heard Ochako gasp. "Oh my god! Are you preg-"

Momo slaps a hand over her mouth, shushing her. "Keep it down, we have an audience." She removes her hand.

Ochako looks around noticing the multiple pairs of eyes, before giving her friend a sorry look. "Sorry, Momo."

"It's okay, I haven't quite told Shoto yet."

"So… You are?"

"Yes."

"Yes!" Ochako hugs her. "Yaomomo's having one!"

"Uh! Ochako! You're squeezing tight! Eek!" The expecting mother started floating into the air by the heroine's quirk.

Big brown eyes became alert. "Whoa! My bad! Hold on!"

"Ochako!"

Two strong hands suddenly wrapped around Momo's ankles, just as she was getting out of Ochako's reach, before pulling her to the ground with the quirk deactivating. Momo put a hand to her chest, taking a breather.

"Whoa, you guys having a party without me?" The two women saw who it was, Eijiro. "Yo!"

"Oh, Eijiro, thank you." Momo replies.

"Don't mention it. I just saw you two when I came in, and I'm glad I did, Momo was soaring high." He gave them a thumbs up.

Ochako became flustered again, now out of embarrassment. "I wasn't thinking when I gave her a hug. I just haven't seen her in awhile, and the same goes for you, Eijiro, What have you been up to?"

"I've been helping out at Fat Gum's agency, it's been getting crazy where it's station." He rubs the back of his neck before smiling. "I saw on the news about the building you caught, that was pretty manly, Ochako."

"Thanks."

Eijiro looks at Momo, who's still catching her breath. "How about you, Momo? I haven't really seen you on the news that much, except for that bank robbery you and Shoto stopped last week."

"Oh, well I kind of took the week off, I was feeling under the weather." She replies. Which wasn't a total lie, she just left the part out why she was sick (Plus, there were too many nosy people around to tell him the real reason. She wasn't quite ready to tell the whole country she was pregnant.)

"That sucks. Feel any better?"

"A little."

Before they could talk some more, they heard people running with cameras and microphones. The three of them smile bitter-sweetly, knowing the cause behind the press showing up.

"Well, it looks like they're here." Eijiro said, looking at the door where the train would stop behind, and out came three recognizable faces. There were people shouting their spouses' names as they walked through the crowd.

"I love you, Ground Zero!"

"Oh, Look! It's Deku!"

"Alright! It's Winter Inferno!"

The other pro heroes waved them over, ignoring the cameras. Eijiro swung his arms around his husband's neck when he was close enough. "Hey, Katsu! How was the trip?" He asked.

"Terrible, I felt attacked." (1) Katsuki said, face softening until he saw a cameraman real close to him. He looked at him with pure anger. "DON'T YOU BASTARDS HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?!"

"Katsuki! Calm down!"

Ochako frowned and looked at the green haired man. "That bad, huh?" She asked, feeling like she already knew the answers.

"Yeah, I'll tell you more in the car." Izuku replies, nodding. But he let a small smile play on his lips that was just for her (It made her blush).

Momo hugged Shoto. "So, not great?"

"No. I'm just glad to be home." Shoto said, honestly.

"Then, let's go."

Shoto smiles and waves at his friends. "Bye, guys."

"Bye!" They said.

The Todorokis started to disappear through the crowd, until Ochako came up and pulled Momo down (carefully) to her level. "Just tell him, you got this!" She whispers into her ear. She lets go so Momo could catch up to Shoto. Ochako felt people behind her as she waved goodbye.

"Uh, Honey… what was that about?" Izuku asked, confused on why she just bolted off.

"Oh, Nothing. I'll tell you in the car." She replies, before waving at the other couple. "Bye,you two!"

Eijiro stares, puzzled as they walked away. "What?" He shakes his head. "Wait! I want to know, too! What's going on?!" He faces his husband who looks just as confused as him. "You want to know too, right?

Katsuki scoffs. "No." He replies.

"Oh, come on! I know you do!"

"Uh… fine! Maybe a little.."

"I knew it! Come on!" Eijiro grabs Katsuki's hand and pulls him after the couple.

"Oy! Shitty hair! What are you doing?!"

"Hey! You two! Midoriyas! Wait up!"

*Break*

Shoto and Momo drove straight home after that. He was currently telling her about his trip, but she was only half listening. She was honestly more focused on controlling her tense body and hiding her flushed face, as she entangled her fingers together in a nervous matter, trying to find a way to tell him. Her mind jumbled phrases around, trying to put a sentence together but kept messing up.

Her heartbeat was fast, beating in her ears while hiding her quivering lip.

"It's okay, Momo, you got this. You can tell him, no matter what his reaction is." she told herself.

Her fingers tighten more at the last sentence, the pressure turning them pale.

"No matter what his reaction is."

She bit the inside of her cheek. She didn't realize she was spacing out until a hand touched her shoulder. She jumped in her seat.

"Momo, what's wrong?" Shoto asked, looking worried.

"I... uh… I really need to tell you something." Momo replies, face getting hot.

"Okay, then tell me."

"Well, not when you're driving! It's unsafe-"

"Unsafe? Momo, we're in the garage. We're home." His wife looked out the car window, seeing it was indeed parked in the garage and they were home. "You're really spacing out. Are you okay?"

Momo sighed and shook her head. "I need to tell you something, but do you think you can wait until we get inside the apartment?"

He gave her a small smile. "Of course."

*Break*

Shoto closed the bedroom door behind him, putting his luggage down. "Okay, tell me what's wrong?" he asked, coming over to where she stood, taking her hands in his.

He gave her a gentle squeeze, her eyes glued to the floor, thinking. "I… I don't know how to tell you, I was kind of scared too..." She trailed off.

"What is it?"

"Do you remember when I got my test results last week?"

"Yeah… Wait, you said they were negative. What's wrong?"

"N-nothing. They're negative, trust me". The doctor just mentioned something unrelated to it…"

"Momo, what's wrong? You're scaring me. Are you sick?" She shakes her head. "Then, what is it?"

She takes a deep breath, looking up at him with her dark eyes. It was now or never.

"Shoto." She began, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm pregnant."

She watched him with a small smile, watching his two colored eyes go big, a little gasp leaving his lips. He looked at her, then at her stomach, then back at her again.

"R-really?" He said, quietly.

She nods.

He brought his hands hesitantly to her stomach, hovering over it with doubt. He eventually settled his right hand on her stomach, the left pulling back to his side. Momo noticed this reaction and took his left into hers, gently placing it next to his right, Laying her hands on top of his, a silent reply that it was okay to put the left one on as well.

He gave her a weary smile. "How long?" he asked, looking down at their hands.

"The doctor said two weeks, which would be three now." She replies.

"Wow."

"Shoto." Their eyes met. "We need to decide, do we still want to be parents, or should we… you know.."

His eyes widened. "No. No, I want this. I really do. We may never get this opportunity again, I don't want to miss it. I want this, do you?" He asks.

Momo chuckled quietly, her cheeks becoming stained with tears that she didn't know were falling. She sniffles, and Shoto cups her cheek, wiping the tears away with his thumbs.

"Do you?" He asked again.

"Yes. I do. I want to be a mother." she replies.

Momo gasps, Shoto immediately pulling her in for a hug. She felt his tears landing on top of her head.

"I can't believe it! I'm going to be a father!" He said, hugging a bit more.

She returns the favor. "I'm glad you are. I honestly wasn't expecting this 'explosive' reaction from you."

"Are you kidding?" He pulls back to look at her. "I can't wait to be a parent. I'm so happy!"

"Me too."

His lips captured her so suddenly, it caught her by surprise. It was warm and passionate, his hand brace the back of her gently, the other by her waist. Both of Momo's hands were laying flat on his chest.

After breaking apart for the second time, she pulled him down on the bed. One of his arms reached out to catch him from falling on top of her, stabilizing himself. Shoto kissed her neck, before nuzzling into it.

"I don't think I've seen you this excited since we got married, or even since we graduated at UA." she replies, he laughed into her neck.

"Sorry, I'm just excited about this." Was his reply,

"I can tell." He kisses her neck again, repeatedly, making her also felt his hand creep under to her back. "S-stop!" She laughed.

"I forgot how ticklish you are." A smirk played on his lips, as he tickled his wife. Her laugh engulfed itself in the room.

"Sh-Shoto! C-come one!"

"And that's what you get for not telling me sooner!"

"S-stop! Please!" She was laughing so hard that there were tears in her eyes.

He laughs, stopping the tickling. "I'm joking." He watches her try to catch her breath, before deciding to plant a few butterfly kisses on her bare stomach.

"I'm glad you're happy." She says, propping herself up with her elbows.

"Thanks. I really am, but I'll admit, I have my doubts about being a father, but with you by my side I know we'll get through it." He said, looking at her.

Her heart skipped a beat at his gaze. She truly married the right guy.

"I'm too comfortable now." he replies, laying down next to her.

"Don't you have to unpack?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"That can wait, I want to stay like this for a little longer." She sighs, laying back down. "How long will we have to wait for the baby?"

"Nine months."

"Nine, huh? I think I can wait. How about you?" He pulls her close.

"I think I can, too."

They both put a hand on her stomach, closing their eyes as a peaceful sleep washed over them.

The Todoroki's are having a baby! But how long will this happy moment last?

(1) You'll find out what Katsuki meant soon. Stay tune!
