Dear Hugo,
Happy birthday! I can't believe my little baby is getting older- it's so hard for me to see you getting so big! But I love watching you grow up, and I really love getting to be your mommy. I was so, so excited when I found out I was going to have you. I couldn't wait for you to get here! Your daddy really wanted a little boy, so he was so happy to find out we were having you. The day you were born was such a happy day for me. I couldn't believe you were finally here and I could finally hold you and kiss you and see your sweet face. Even the first time I looked at you, I thought you looked just like your daddy, and you still do. You remind me so much of Daddy, and that's such a good thing. You are so funny, Hugo, every day you make me laugh. You have a way of making me light up just by seeing you. You have the cutest little smile and the sweetest soul of anyone I know. You are so, so kind, and I love how you always want to snuggle with me- I hope you never stop wanting to. Your daddy couldn't take his eyes off of you from the second you were born. He was so excited to have another boy in the house- I think me and Rosie were starting to drive him crazy! You were the sweetest baby ever. You were so good, and you loved to be held by anyone who wanted to hold you- and everyone did. You have always been so patient, and I love how much you love your big sister, even though she can be pretty bossy sometimes, I know! Watching you grow up has been happy and sad for me. I wish you could stay your sweet little self for ever and ever, but I have also been so blessed to get to have you in my life and to get to see you grow and change every day. I love you more and more every day, and you can always, always make me smile, no matter how bad I'm feeling. Thank you for always looking out for me and for everyone else- you really are so much like your daddy. I love you so, so much, Hugo, and I hope you never, ever change. Happy birthday!
