O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O
The first day of school. For most of the students in the world, it was a day they would without a doubt remove from the face of the Earth. But for the rest of the students, who loved school, it was a day full of joy. Those students were mainly the hero course ones, and it wasn't a surprise : it was their first true step toward the path of heroics.
UA was no exception to the rule : the hero students were always eager to start their day, as it would be the first true step in the world of heroes.
However, rules were meant to get fucked.
"Please get your shoes off this table right now ! It is disrespectful toward the craftsmen who created these desk for UA !"
"What the fuck do you want you bastard ! Want to pick a fight with me ?!"
"..."
The almost entire class of 1-A could only stare, with different expressions on their faces, at the two teens who were fighting on the first day of school.
And class didn't even start.
Most of them were an excited bunch of teens, hoping for their first day to be some sort of secret meeting, a ceremony, or any fantasy like that. Instead, they were forced to go to their class, and watch a blond kid continuously fight with a raven haired one.
"I enrolled in UA or in a zoo ?" Muttered a boy with a head similar to one of a crow. The persons who heard it chuckled awkwardly, thinking the same thing, while the other made sounds of clear annoyance. However, some of the students had complete different thoughts, mainly toward the same person. Each of them were too busy thinking to even acknowledge the fighting students.
Kyoka Jirou was nervous in her seat : would the boy who saved her attend UA ? Would he be in the same class as her ? Back in the practical exam, she kind of acted like a jerk to him, while he saved her and another girl from being crushed to death by a giant robot. She clearly remember his face of disappointment once she just huffed past him and never said thanks. She didn't care at the moment, mainly because she was still under the shock, but it was clear that he didn't like her lack of gratitude. Once she got back home, and thought about it again, she felt her heart clench more and more, knowing that someone genuinely saved her sorry ass while she was petrified by fear. Did he drop out of school, thinking that all the hero students were a bunch of arrogants and jerks ? It was a question she absolutely needed an answer to, and at the same time, she really didn't want to know.
Momo Yaoyorozu was frowning more and more, as the clock continued going on. Was she in the wrong class ? She tried to search for Izuku, but he could not be found anywhere. Maybe he was a general education student ? No, it was just impossible : he would never get in a class seen as inferior to another one. Maybe he was a 1-B student ? She was trying to push this thoughts out of her head, but it kept coming back : damn her brain.
Shoto Todoroki was eyeing the door with a poker face. His father told him to look for the youngest Midoriya member, and gave him a brief description of the boy. However, the only person with green hair around him was a girl with a frog-like Quirk. He was pretty sure that the Midoriya Heir wasn't a walking dish for the french student, who was eyeing the girl while drooling.
"I am Tenya Lida, from Soumei Academy ! As a now fellow student of 1-A, I ask you one last time to...!"
"So you're a goddam elite, right ! I'll enjoy even more kicking your sorry ass to the moon !"
While Lida seemed like he was going to respond, a voice interrupted them.
"Will you both shup up ? I could hear you from the end of the corridor."
The whole class turned to the door, only to see a guy with green hair standing in the doorway. His eyes were a piercing green, and while he was staring at the two troublemakers, they could feel that he was also aware of every single person in the room. He looked like he creased his uniform, with hems on his arms. His shirt was a bit open around his neck, and while he didn't look like a perfect student, it was easy to understand that he wasn't, and by far, a bad one.
He was followed by a girl with an almost round face, and while she blushed when the door opened, she quicly composed herself, looking at the rest of the students and silently waving her hand.
"What did you say you ...!" Began the blond guy, only to be stopped.
"I said, Shut Up, before I make you." Finished the green-haired kid, his eyes now glowing with barely restrained annoyance. His American accent was the first thing you could notice with his voice, but he was speaking Japanese like a man who lived his whole life in the country.
Kyoka got even deeper in her seat : it was a relief, at least, the boy was still in the path of heroics. But know, she had to find a way of apologizing to him without her pride kicking in.
Shoto smirked : finally the student he was searching for. He clearly had the body and the mind of a fighter, his eyes were enough to prove it to him. His aura was menacing, and Todoroki could feel the boy was in a constant state of vigilance. When his pair of bright, glowing green eyes flicked to the bi-haired boy, Shoto couldn't stop himself from grinning : finally some challenge. His father was right, the Midoriya heir was someone to look for.
"Izuku !"
The boy seemed genuinely surprise by the call of his first name, in japan no less, where people usually used the family names to speak to someone. He turned his head toward the call, only to widen his eyes, his expression changing from surprise, to complete shock when he got tackled to the ground by a black haired girl he knew too well. While falling, Izuku surrounded the girl in his arms, switched her to a bridal holding style, and performed a backflip to land on his feet, his knees folded. Every single person watching the movement of the green-haired boy dropped his jaw from surprise, even the teacher that nobody noticed at the door. The greeny did a backflip without an impulse, managed to change the position of the girl... and all of it while being incredibly graceful. Some of the students searched for cat ears or a tail behind the boy : he couldn't have done such a save without being a feline.
Shoto could only feel his excitation increase again. If the Midoriya heir was able of doing such things, his classes might become interesting after all.
Meanwhile, Izuku looked sternly at Momo, who was blushing in a deep crimson red. He smirked, before getting up, still holding her.
"Welp, it's been a long time, Momo. Didn't think you missed me that much tho." He said, in a teasing voice. Momo got off his arms, and turned her back toward the boy.
"I didn't miss you, It is just reassuring to know that I know someone on the first day of school." Izuku silently chuckled, and the rest of the class who were seeing the black-haired girl blushing madly, fidgeting with her hands, they grew a tender smile for both of them.
"Hi ! I'm Mina Ashido ! I don't want to pry on you, but how do you both know yourselves ? Plus, you're already on a first name basis ! I mean, you both have an American accent, specially you." Said the pink-skinned girl, pointing to Izuku. He smiled softly, before answering, knowing his friend was too busy burning.
"Nah, don't worry. My name is Izuku Midoriya. We both know ourselves from when we were kids, even if we didn't see each others lately. I don't know why Momo joined UA, but I came here because I didn't really know where to go. We are on a first name basis because, in America, we don't really refer to each others with family names. Plus, we're friends... So I don't see why I'd use her last name, just because we're in Japan." He answered. The girl seemed even more surprise.
"What, you come from the Midoriya Family ?" She asked, completely stunned. She knew she MIGHT encounter rich people in school : UA was the best in Japan after all. But the latest 'prodigy' of the richest family in the world ? He just smiled.
"Yes."
"Now, if you want to socialize, you can both get out."
When they heard this, they froze, searching for who said that. However, Izuku immediately tensed, his face becoming a cold one, and he turned toward the newcomer. He obviously already knew he was there before, he felt him walking toward the class. But these new words felt like a menace for the boy : it reminded of some little... accidents.
When he met the eyes of the black-haired man who spoke, he smiled softly. However, it wasn't a sweet smile : it seemed dark, almost scary. The rest of the class obviously saw it. The Midoriya Heir just changed his attitude from a simple teenager to the one of a well-oiled soldier. His stance showed he was ready to attack, or defend, and it was almost possible to imagine the invisible weapon in his hands.
If only the knew that it wasn't so invisible.
Momo frowned. She knew her friend was a fighter, he proved it to her when he saved her. But his sudden change looked scary... Did he have some kind of experience with people coming from behind him, with the goal of attacking him ?
Shota Aizawa, the black-haired man, had to contain himself really in order not to grin. At least, he had a serious student with potential. He changed almost instantly from a kid to a man, and it was something the teacher liked a lot. Next to him, a brown haired girl with a round face seemed visibly frightened that he 'appeared' behind her. Welp, there weren't naturally talented kids everywhere after all.
Instead, he just smirked.
"It took the class a single second to calm down. This is good, at least you are rationals. I'll just skip the introductions : yes, I'm your homeroom teacher. You can refer to me as Sir Aizawa."
He paused, watching his students. They all had different expressions, from surprise to wonder, some calculating eyes and the blank faces of the Midoriya Heir and the Yaoyorozu Heiress. If there were two students who he would get along with, it would be these two.
"Just meet me in twenty minutes on the gamma training ground. Ho, and there are your sport uniforms in your respective lockers."
Before anyone could say anything, he left. The class remained silent, as they proceeded to think about what the teacher said.
They didn't know where was the gamma training ground.
And they didn't know where were the lockers.
"Momo ?" Asked Izuku, his face still frozen. He didn't even look at her.
"Yes ?"
"Just follow me, I've seen the plan of the school in a corridor." He said, leaving. She eagerly nodded, and followed him.
She quickly stopped at the door, looking behind her.
"He has an eidetic memory. I'd be you, I'd follow us." She said, running after the boy.
The rest of the students only looked at themselves with confusion, before they decided to throw away their questions and follow the two friends who already left.
O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O
Boys' locker room :
"So you are the Midoriya heir, huh ?" Said Shoto Todoroki, standing shirtless behind the green-haired boy. He was also shirtless, and merely turned his head to look at the bi-colored boy with a single eye.
"What if I am ?"
"My name is Shoto Todoroki. I'm sure you'll like some strong company, in this school full of shit."
"What did you say you motherfucker ?" Said the same blond boy from the class.
The rest of the boys looked at the blond, who made a tiny explosion on his hands. When Shoto turned to him, Izuku just decided to continue changing his clothes : he had no time to give to weaklings and attention seekers.
"I was only objective." Added Shoto, speaking to the blond. "I don't trust anyone in this class to be a challenge to me. However, the Midoriyas are a well known family : I was offering him a place by my side." He said arrogantly.
"Because you think that you're strong enough to be a fucking leader ? I only see you bitching around like a cunt." Simply answered the blond, his eyes fill of hate.
"And who are you to say this to me ? I don't know you : you're just a no name without importance. Just shut up and try to survive the school." Added Todoroki, visibly frightened.
"My name is Katsuki Bakugo, Half n' half. You're just a rich boy without ambition. I'll get you down of your fucking high horse soon enough."
Shoto was going to answer, but Izuku decided he was enough.
"Shut. The. Fuck. Up." He said, with venom in his voice. The two other boys looked at him in surprise, while the class gasped : they didn't need another person to taunt the fighting teenagers !
"You both are no names to me. You both are weak, and you both lack ambition. You just are bugs under my feet." Added Izuku, in an as arrogant as the others, but more confident way.
He was stating facts, after all.
The blond and the bi-colored, in a rush of cooperation and adrenaline, tried to hit Izuku, who was still turning their backs to them.
The next second, they were screaming in pain.
The Midoriya Heir was facing them, and both of his attackers were on the ground. Shoto was hiding his nose behind his hands, but the flow of blood coming out of his knuckles didn't fool anyone. His nose was definitely broken.
Katsuki was holding his left arm tightly with his right one, and the way it was twisted clearly showed it was broken too, and his shoulder probably dislocated.
The students were frozen in their seats. Nobody tried to help the two downed boys, and it was partially due to the fact that Midoriya was standing just in front of them, blood on his right hand : probably the one that hit Shoto's nose.
"I'll make this clear now ; I don't care if you don't like me, I'll even like it. Or you can act like I don't exist, or even ignore me : it'll be alright. However, if there is one thing I hate above all, is people who think that they are stronger than they really are. This is unacceptable !"
Everyone in the room could feel the sheer pressure coming from the aura of the boy. It was unreal, it was blocking their breathing. Was it his Quirk ?
Finally, Izuku calmed down. His aura never truly left, but it was bearable.
"Now, I think you understood where you belong on my chain food. I think you should try to go and see Recovery Girl... She might be able to fix your injuries. If you want, I'll say to Sir Aizawa that we had a disagreement, I'm almost sure he'll understand." Finished Izuku with a low chuckle. Both hurt kids learned how to read between the lines : if they went to Recovery Girl, she would heal their injuries, but it would mean they truly lost against the boy they tried to attack, and only defended himself without even looking at them.
Or they could still join their teacher, at the risk of showing their injuries, but at least it would mean they didn't submit.
With a grunt of annoyance and pain, they both put a shirt on, and left the locker room without looking back.
The rest of the boys could only look at them with compassion, and with fear for the greeny. Midoriya let a laugh escape his mouth.
When the boys looked at him with confusion in their eyes, he just grinned.
"What ? I just remembered that they don't know the way toward the gamma training ground."
The entirety of the class fell in an anime way, including Nezu, All Might and Sir Nighteye, who were watching by a camera.
O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O
Girls' locker room :
"Hey, Yaoyorozu, you seemed rather close with Midoriya right ?" Asked Mina Ashido. The girls already introduced themselves to each others, because unlike the boys, they knew how to be decent human beings.
The black-haired girl blushed lightly, still changing in her sport uniform.
"I wouldn't say that we are close, honestly. Not as much as I would like to. Yet." She whispered the last word, but it didn't matter, as everyone heard her. They laughed, and Mina decided to tease her even more.
"I do have to say that he's a cutie. If you're not with him I'll have no regrets !"
"No way ! Dibs !" Yelled Momo, only to blush crimson when she realized what she said, the rest of the locker room bursting into laughter. It just developed into more teasing, until Momo ran out of the locker room. The other girls soon followed her, and waited before the boys' locker room.
After all, it was the Midoriya Heir who knew the way to the training ground.
They were certainly surprised when they saw the blond guy who was fighting in class, and a bi-haired kid leave first with what seemed like serious injuries. The eyes of both boys widened, before walking past the girls as quickly as they could while glaring at them. The girls looked at themselves in confusion. Less than a minute later, the door of the locker room opened again, only to reveal the disinterested face of Izuku. He quickly looked at the girls, before nodding.
"Just follow me."
He left without saying anything else, Momo quickly going next to him. The rest of the boys left their locker room, but it was obvious that they looked scared of the green-haired boy. Mina quickly rushed to her friend, Eijiro Kirishima.
"Why are you all standing far away from Midoriya ?" Whispered the pink-skinned girl, with all the other girls except Momo listening.
"He broke Todoroki's nose and Bakugo's arms when they tried to attack him, plus you didn't see him but he is kind of... scary ?"
They looked back to Yaoyorozu and Midoriya, who were speaking quietly to themselves. The green-haired kid was chucking to something the black-haired girl said, which was making her grin.
The group finally arrived to the gamma training ground, where Sir Aizawa was standing, eyeing them.
"Everyone is here ?" He asked, his eyes stopping on each student.
"Bakugo and Todoroki may be a bit late. They decided to leave without waiting for me, but I'm sure they'll eventually find their way." Simply answered Izuku, a small smile on his face. Momo rolled her eyes, after all, she didn't have to ask him to understand that the boy's injuries were from him.
"Mmmh. Then we'll not wait for them, and let's get immediately into the test. Midoriya, you scored first in the entrance exam, and refused to take part in the recommendation exam. Before we continue, any reason why ?"
The others students could only, once more, look at Izuku with a shocked expression. Who would deny going to the Recommendation exam of UA ?
"I don't think the reason will really help you, Sir. The exam take place way too long before the entrance one, and I was in America. I decided to wait for the simple one."
"And you thought you would score enough to enter the school with the simple exam ?"
Izuku's eyes brightened, his glowing green eyes scanning the teacher with a simplicity the teacher couldn't understand.
"Of course."
It was Aizawa's turn to scan him. The boy didn't really seem ready to attack, or anything of the kind. He just looked pleased with himself, and was waiting for the next part. Aizawa, like everyone else, knew who were the Midoriya Family. He couldn't really fault the boy, who was teached that he was at the top for his whole life, and blame his cockiness.
"You are cocky. It's something you'll need to access the top, but while you are in my class, please try to stop yourself from showing it." He simply said. The boy closed his eyes, and nodded, a small smile on his face.
"Of course, Sir."
"Now, could you please come next to me, in the circle right there ?"
The boy immediately obliged, and when he entered the circle, he caught a ball the teacher threw as fast as he could to him. He simply looked at Aizawa with eyes full of questions, the obvious amusement he was feeling dancing in green flames within his pupils. The teacher nodded to himself, pleased with the reaction of the kid. Maybe, after all, he could justify his cocky attitude.
"I want you to throw that ball as hard as you can."
"With, or without my Quirk Sir ?"
The teacher once again nodded to himself. He had downright answered the right question.
"You may use your Quirk. It doesn't matter how you throw that ball, but I want the result."
Izuku nodded, and just threw the ball vertically, and without effort. The students and the teacher, for a second, looked confused, but it was before Izuku started to act.
Izuku raised his right arm, folding it, in a way that his fingers were almost touching his left shoulder. As he did his movement, a golden portal appeared right above his head, glowing so brightly that it made some students narrow their eyes. A sort of spike of steel appeared from the portal, and it looked quite sharpened. When the ball fell, and reached the place just in front of the spike, Izuku unfolded his arms, his hand showing the horizon right in front of him.
For a second, time seemed to stop, as the spike left the portal and skewed the ball, showing in reality that it was a sword. Said sword had a golden grip, with a paterne of a golden serpent circling the grip until the guard of the sword, where the head of the snake was almost circling the beginning of the blade made of steel, his mouth fully open, like it was trying to bite the air.
And then, time resumed, as the sword vanished with a burst of speed, making a supersonic wave. The students almost fell, with a boy named Minoru Mineta almost flying away, and a girl screamed with pain. However, nobody even heard it. Aizawa, always expecting everything, managed to keep his posture, with great efforts.
A silence took place, where Izuku looked slightly pleased of himself, before gaining a blank look and walking toward the rest of the student. Recognizing his face, the boys quickly rushed out of his way, revealing a girl with sorts of jack ears, who didn't even see the green-haired boy walk toward her, because of her still present pain. When she finally noticed him, he was bowing in some sort of chivalrous way.
"My lady, I beg you to excuse my behavior. I should have known you were going to be affected by powerful sounds. Your senses have been hurt by my powers, and you may punish me as you want."
Every single person looking at the show, including the ones by a camera, were completely surprised by the newly adult's behavior. But nobody was more confused than Kyoka Jiro herself, who just earned back her hearing after wiping the blood out of her ears. She was blushing hard, and looked in front of her, searching for someone who may have a solution. She locked eyes with Momo, who mimicked the way of holding her hand in front of her, and was spelling on her mouth "DO THAT AND SAY YOU EXCUSE HIM". The deep blue-haired girl quickly composed herself, and did as Momo said.
"You are, hum... excused, Midoriya, as you didn't know the effect this supersonic wave would have on me..." she said with as much dignity as she could, trying to match the words of the boy. Izuku gently took the hand of the girl, his eyes still glaring at the ground. He softly kissed the back of the girl's hand, making her blush crimson once more. He then got up, and the slightly taller boy locked eyes with her.
"If it isn't too much to ask, I'd like you to call me Izuku. It's just the way of speaking to someone in America, and I'd prefer keeping it. But, if you want to stick with Japanese traditions..."
"No, it's fine. You can call me Kyoka as well." She said with a small smile, wrapping her ear jacks between them. Izuku gave her a ten thousand watts smile, and many girls looking at them were feeling some sense of jealousy. Momo just sighed : she knew it would happen someday.
"Nice ! By the way, I'm a huge fan of your parents..."
"It was really nice, and all, but now I want you to explain to me what the fuck." Interrupted Aizawa. The Midoriya heir immediately changed his cheesy personality to the cold one the boys had seen, his eyes shifting into a predatory stare.
'Just what is your true personality...' wondered Aizawa. The teacher proceeded to show the result of Izuku's "throw", which was a solid 3800 kilometers that didn't show the rest of the score, due to an obvious lack of place on the phone. The eyes of almost every single person widened in surprise, including Shoto and Katsuki, who found the training ground just soon enough to see Izuku's throw.
"What the fuck ?" Recovered firstly Bakugo, glaring daggers at the green-haired kid/adult. The Midoriya heir gave him a predatory grin, noticing how each boys' injuries were healed. Bakugo and Todoroki felt a shiver run down their spine. They didn't want to heal their injuries, but by something the two teens could call the 'luck', Recovery Girl found them at the end of a corridor. She literally forced them to be healed, and tired of trying to tank the hit of her stick, they complied.
"Honestly, many factors made my throw that good, Sir." Said Izuku, walking toward the teacher. Suddenly, another portal appeared near him, and a grip left it. The Midoriya heir grabbed it, and pulling out the sword, they noticed it was the same blade he used to throw the ball.
Said ball was still skewed on the extremity of the blade.
"You see, this sword is a masterpiece. I won't go into the details of its construction, but let's just say that such a beautiful finishing would be sold billions on the market."
He made the sword spin within his hands, passing it from his shoulders to his fingers, before catching it on the tip of the grip, showing to everyone how much of a masterpiece the sword was, and showing as well the skills of the boy with a perfectly sharpened sword.
"You see, when I threw the ball vertically, I needed it to be completely stiff, or the sword wouldn't have skewed it perfectly. That's how the ball is cut in the perfect center. It was also a work of precision, something that includes reflex and mathematics : I won't get too deep within the problem because it would be too long. The second important factor was the angle the sword skewed the ball on. I chose the perfect angle, which includes how the gravity would affect the sword, the weather, and due to the blade being in steel, some electromagnetic fields. There are some other factors, but it's just to attain perfection."
Aizawa nodded, stupefied by the mind of his student. He smiled : he already knew this kid was going to be his problem child number 1.
"Alright, I guess you'll be fine on your own. The principal wanted to see you in his office, by the way."
Izuku looked at him strangely.
"The principal ?"
"I don't really know, honestly. I wanted to see if you had any potential before, but you may go."
The Midoriya Heir immediately caught what he said, and a small smile formed on his face. As he left, he couldn't but grin at the yell of the students, knowing they would be expelled if they failed his test.
O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O
"I'm telling you he'll be the perfect receptor !"
"No ! You're crazy if you think this... Fraud, should be the ninth inheritor of One for All !"
Nezu could only stare at his latest teacher, All Might, and the pro hero Sir Nighteye go at themselves in a yelling argument. He took a sip of tea, knowing that his obsession was coming to his office.
He swore on his job that he would decipher the secret that was Izuku Midoriya.
"Gentlemen, please calm down. Our dear student will be here in less than a minute, I've been following him on the cams since he left Shota." He said, hoping to calm down the two heroes.
"Argh, I just don't know why Toshinori keep seeking that boy, which looks clearly more like a villain than a hero !" Yelled Sir Nighteye.
"You know nothing of him ! He's been saving civilians already !"
"Every goddam hero save civilians !"
Nezu sighed : those two were a lost cause. However, he saw on his computer that the green-haired kid was standing in front of his door. Why wasn't he knocking ?
Maybe because he was staring at the camera with a predatory grin.
Surely.
The principal pushed a button, and the door opened. The green-haired student, still in his P.E uniform, looked calm and disinterested, but Nezu had to lock eyes with him to see amusement dancing like fire.
"Principal, Sir." He said, looking directly at the mouse (bear !), ignoring All Might and Sir Nighteye. The latest scolded even more, while the shining hero had a huge grin.
"Midoriya, or Izuku ?" Asked Nezu.
"Izuku, Sir."
"Welp, Izuku. We have many things to speak about I think, please take a seat." Said the animal with a smile. Izuku did as he said, not once looking at the heroes.
"As Aizawa said, I wanted to talk about something disturbing me, and I think these two gentlemen wanted to speak to you too."
The green-haired boy nodded, and quickly turned his head to the heroes, acknowledging them with a nod.
"Firstly... Would you know what happened in the locker room ? Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo were showing great injuries, and I would like to know how they hurt themselves so much." Nezu never lost his smile, and Izuku made one appear on his face.
"I may have caused these injuries, Principal."
Only years of experience allowed Nezu to look composed, and not to shift into a surprised expression. He had expected many scenarios from the boy, after all, he was the Principal. However, the one called "admit I broke some bones with a smile, as if nothing happened" didn't exist. Clearly, even if the teenager didn't read the feelings of the mouse, Nezu was sure that the young adult understood clearly his surprise, as he tilted his head to the right, his smile widening slightly.
"Why would you have attacked them ?"
"You see, Principal, they were the first to attack."
"You could have stopped them without fighting back, I'm sure ?"
"And let them be as well ? You see, Sir, I'm sure you studied every single student already, including me. Do you think these two would have stopped ? I don't think so. They would have fought as children. I decided to take the painful, but safest option : now, they both know that they musn't attack their dear classmates." In the boys' eyes, a raging inferno of excitement was spreading, and it was clear to Nezu that the kid was eager for him to respond. Did he expect a punishment, or an argument ? The bear decided to do nothing of it. He knew that what Izuku said was partially right.
"I see. I won't do anything against you as long as you defend yourself, but please be careful. You are going to be a student of this institution for three years at least, It would be preferable if you managed to make some links with your classmates."
Disappointment was easily readable in the teenager's face, as he shrugged, and nodded.
"Secondly, I'll let the heroes explain everything."
In a second, All Might was up, behind the desk of Nezu, his right hand in his air, and his smile revealing his white teeth to the world.
"Young Midoriya ! It truly is a pleasure to see you again !" He said, then laughed in that All Might way that everybody knew. Izuku smiled, maybe there was some hope what he could have fun, after all.
"Yes, Sir. It's been awhile." He said with a polite smile.
"Indeed, my boy, indeed ! I'm still disappointed that you refused my offer to train you, but it looks like you worked hard on your own !"
Izuku, shelling All Might's line, could trace many informations. Firstly, it meant he saw, either his entrance test, but he really did nothing else than run a destroy robots with a single sword, and maybe saving these girls from being crushed by moving them in time, either his throw. Considering that the second was probably the most impressive one, it clicked in the boy's head that he was being spied on by cameras. A glance to Nezu and a cruel smirk, and the bear truly lost his smile. He could only watch his latest teacher ruin his work.
"Yes, Sir. But why did you call me here anyways ? It looks like favoritism so far." He said. He knew that the notion or favoritism would push All Might to directly say what he wanted to.
"Don't worry, my boy ! You have been called for something far more important that knowing how you were."
Smoke erupted from the hero, and even with the "Don't !" of Sir Nighteye, All Might transformed.
O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O
Every single girl of 1-A were sitting around a table in the cafeteria.
"I still can't believe Sir Aizawa tried to trick us into thinking we would get expelled from the school." Sighed Ochaco.
"I think it was a rather good method, Kero. We worked pretty hard." Added Tsuyu Asui.
"I kind to agree, but I still think it wasn't right." Said Mina.
"Even if nobody was expelled, I am kind of disappointed to finish just barely before the perv'..." complained Tooru.
"I would have been mad if I was barely before Mineta too, but you can only progress. Hey, Momo, you finished first, cheer up a bit." Said Kyoka, her mouth full of food. Like Izuku, the black-haired girl asked the girls to call her by her first name. It quickly became a rule that every girl had to use their first names.
"Welp, I kinda' understood Aizawa's trick was just that : a trick. Plus, I don't consider myself first, I'm pretty sure Izuku would have scored first if he was there." Answered Momo.
"I may doubt you on that, Momo. He is strong, I mean, only Ochaco got a score above him, but I don't see how he could have used his Quirk in many tests..." said Mina.
"I'm sure he would have found a way, trust me." Finished Momo.
"Speaking of the devil..." muttered Tooru, and every single head turned toward the doors of the cafeteria, where the green-haired student showed himself. He was dressed back in his school uniform, looking as disinterested as before. Some people looked at him while whispering : of course, it has been a surprise to know that the Midoriya heir was walking within their school, even if it was the best in Japan.
"Have you seen him ? He's hot !"
"He doesn't look like the smart person..."
"What do you think his Quirk is ?"
Izuku stopped dead in his tracks, before jumping behind him, dodging an explosion coming from his left side.
"What ?!" Yelled Momo, getting up, while the rest of the students remained frozen in their seats.
Dusk cleared itself, only to reveal once more Bakugo, looking quite angry.
"So, you missed our dear teacher's test you bastard ?"
Izuku looked at him coldly, not answering. He tried to walk forward once more, but had to block a punch from the blond. Without waiting for another one, the greeny grabbed him by the arm, and forced him down, while giving him a kick in the stomach with his knee. The explosive boy spited blood, before rolling on himself on the ground.
"I guess you really never learn. You didn't even wait for me to be alone, you downright attacked me with the whole school to watch."
He marked a pause as he usually did, a smirk on his features, looking at the once more injured blond, who was glaring daggers at him.
"You fucking bastard..." He managed to say, before clenching again his stomach in pain. He was used to pain, he was going to be a hero after all.
So how such a simple kick was aching so much ? Izuku let a laugh escape him, but it wasn't a bemused one. It was a cold, satisfied and more importantly mocking one.
"Next time, try not to get in my way." He began to leave, until he grinned again. "Or maybe you are a masochist ? I could just hit you if it's what you really want."
While Kirishima tried to help Bakugo, the rest of the cafeteria exploded into laughter, until it came down a minute later. The girls lost the eye contact with Izuku, until he was found with his platter of food, going into the direction of a single table for one person.
'Nop, I won't let him become a loner again.' Thought Momo, putting her hand up in an attempt to call the boy.
"Izuku !" Yelled Kyoka next to her, and the black-haired girl could only gasp. She was being outmatched by another girl. The green-haired boy turned to Kyoka, and looked at her with confusion. After a quick "Come !" From the earphone jack user, he shrugged and came to the table. He stopped next to Jiro, still standing.
"My ladies." He greeted.
"Hey Izu, if the boys aren't a smart enough company for you, you can eat with us if you want." Said Kyoka with a soft smile.
"I don't want to interrupt your conversations..."
"You won't, Kero. Come." Simply interrupted Tsuyu. Izuku softly chuckled, before putting his platter between Kyoka and Momo. Both girls glared at each others, even if they didn't have any malicious ideas or hate between them.
"Thank you, Asui."
"You can call me Tsu."
"And call me Mina as well."
"And Tooru for me !"
"Welp, thank you. All of you can call me Izuku." Laughed the boy, and most of the table could almost forget by his innocent face that he destroyed Bakugo barely five minutes before.
"Hey, Izu, I've been wanting to ask you something." Asked Ochaco.
"Ask then."
"Your manners with Kyoka, on the training ground, not that it was bad, but it looked kind of... chivalrous ? Why did you do it ?" She asked with genuine confusion. Izuku simply smiled.
"To understand why I acted like that, you have to understand the code of families. You see, mostly for the richest or most important families in the world, the word "family" is more used like a clan name."
"A clan ?" Asked Tooru. Momo decided to answer that one.
"Yup. When you reach a certain level in society, you have to act under the ancient law of The Court. To make it simple, let's just say the members of the court have to act in some fantastic way."
"It sounds kind of useless tho." Added Mina.
"Completely not. The way you act in the court will give your Family your prestige, and it allows The families to ally themselves. Without this court, most of the 'best' families would just spit on themselves." Finished Izuku.
"And that's why you acted that way toward Kyoka ? She is part of the court ?" Asked Ochaco, making Kyoka blush.
"Yes. I have never seen her at a court, but her parents joined it as the Jiro Family, making her a heiress. I had to act in such a formal way on the first time to make sure she understood who I was. Plus, if my parents ever learned I didn't act as a court member, they would have destroyed the shit out of me. But if we are not specially on the court place, I don't have to act like that." He simply answered.
"It was just surprising, but I guess it makes sense, kero." Said Tsuyu.
"I'm glad it makes, I am not the best teacher honestly." Chuckled Izuku. "By the way, how did your tests with the teacher go ?"
"It wasn't that bad, but the Teach' said he was going to expel the last one on the test ! It was a huge weight, but in the end he didn't even expel anyone." Complained Mina.
"Wait-.. We still have the purple ball in the class ?" Asked Izuku, truly confused.
"Yes, apparently he has potential." Sighed Ochaco. The Midoriya Heir looked at another table, where Mineta was yelling so strongly about women that the table could practically hear him.
"A pity." Muttered Izuku, making the rest of the table laugh.
"Hey, Izuku, what did the principal want ? Anything to do with the fact that you fought in the locker room ?" Asked Momo.
"Yes. He wanted to know why I did it, and I just answered that they attacked me first. I guess he was here to check my 'villainous' behavior." Answered Izuku with a cold face.
"I do have to say you sometimes are strange, Izu. You're acting friendly with us, while you were cold toward Bakugo just before." Said Kyoka.
"I can understand, yeah. Let's just say that when I'm not with friends, I try to act like I would in the court. The cold and calculating behavior is a must-have, and I would prefer if the rest of the class feared me instead of acting friendly." He shrugged.
"Do you consider us as friends, or are you going to act so coldly toward us ?" Asked Tsuyu, a finger on her mouth. A simple smile appeared on the green-eyed boy, and answered, making the rest of the table smile.
"Nah. I guess you'll be my friends."
