Jax stirs awake, hearing his phone vibrating on the bedside table. As he becomes aware of his surroundings, the memories of last night come back to him, the beautiful girl he was with, is still wrapped in his arms. He turns slightly to answer his phone being sure not to wake her "yeah."
"Hey, man we gotta head back," Op said on the other end of the line
"Ok Op, I'll be in the lobby in a few," Jax said before hanging up
Jax turns back to the girl in his arms, not quite ready to leave her, but he's got church and business in Charming plus his mother is probably bugging the guys about his whereabouts, she can be overbearing sometimes, she treats him as though he's not an adult sometimes. Man, she's crazy but he love's her all the same.
He starts peppering kiss alone her shoulder to her neck, noticing the tattoo at the base of her neck just above her shoulder blades, it's a white Calla Lilly with a date from just over a year ago. He remembers asking what it was but, all she would say is "it's for someone very special to her, the tattoo is there to remind her that this person is always with her."
Smirking into her neck, as he feels her starting to wake. Placing one final kiss to her neck as she turns over and says "morning" while looking into his eyes.
"morning darlin, I gotta go. I had fun last night. You still have a few hours before your interviews so go back to sleep." Stroking her cheek, giving her searing, lingering kiss to her lips. Jax gets up gets dressed "good luck today," he says as he walks to the door turning to look at her one last time. As she said "Thank you"
Tara smiles to herself feeling sore in all the right spots, "goodness the things we did last night should be illegal" she mumbles falling back to sleep.

Walking into the lobby spotting Donna and Op, waiting for him. "let's go" with a tight-lipped smile. Shaking his head trying to clear his thoughts of last night's events. "have fun, buddy" Donna asks trying not to laugh at him.
"I did, indeed" he replies
As they walk to the car Opie notices a few marks on his neck and starts laughing out loud, "dude, I don't remember the last time you let a woman leave visible marks."
Jax rolls his eyes but doesn't say anything as they get in the car to head back to charming.
After Donna drops him and Op off at Teller-Marrow Garage. He goes directly to his dorm room to shower. Hissing, in pain, when the water hits his back quickly finishing his shower, he gets out turning to look at his back, "god that girl got him good, but oh it felt so amazing while it was happening" thinking to himself.
Hearing a knock on his door "church in 10, man" Tig says "alright" Jax's yells.
Taking his place at the Reaper table to the left of Clay. The gavel bangs, to let everyone know church has begun. "ok, we are having issues with the Mayan's. They broke into our warehouse, they took off with a couple of crates of guns, we need to meet with Leroy to delay the shipment for a couple of days, Jax, Opie, and Bobbie head out to meet up him. The rest of us will work on getting the rest of the shipment back or replacing them." The rest of the time was spent discussing finances and the next few runs they have as well as going to Nevada in a few weeks.
"Alright, Leroy can meet in an hour," Jax said lighting a cigarette
"Sounds, good Jax" Bobbie answered
"Ride out in 20," Jax said walking out of the clubhouse
"Hey baby, you three have fun last night?" Gemma asks hugging him
"It was good" taking a hit of his cigarette blowing the smoke out
"I would say so, you have marks on your neck to prove it" smiling at her son, knowing his way with women. "the prospect is on the repo's today," Gemma tells him
"Ok ma, a few us will be heading out on business, be back later, dinner at your house, tonight right?" he asks
"Yeah baby" hugging him by, as he kisses her cheek

Tara's just getting out of the shower, dressing in a black pencil skirt that hit just above the knee, white button-up short-sleeve shirt tucked in, and black Louis Vuitton pumps. Shoes are one of her vices. She finishes off with neutral make-up. Grabbing her bag, heading for her rental car.
While waiting for her interview, Tara reads the book she brought with her, The Jungle, "Miss Knowle's" looking up she notices an older man with greying hair. "yes" she says "I'm Doctor Sanders, I'll be doing your interview today. Follow me." She follows him into the conference room taking the seat he offered her.
"Ok so, Miss Knowles I have already reviewed your file, I see in both high school as well as Loyola Medical school you've graduated at the top of your class. You also have glowing recommendations from your superior's at Chicago Presbyterian Hospital" Dr. Sander says as he lists off her achievement. "now tell me why you wanted to become a doctor?"
"Ok, the first time I realized I wanted to be a doctor, I must have been ten years old, I was sick and couldn't go to school. Mom ended up taking me to the hospital she worked at. She was a nurse. One of the doctors there looked me over and made me feel better. I guess ever since then I wanted to be able to make kids feel better like that doctor did for me." Answering truthfully.
They spent the next hour discussing her surgical experience, and the types of medical cases she has worked on, "ok that's about it, thank you for coming. It has been a pleasure talking with you miss Knowles. I'll talk to you in a month maybe a little longer, once we make our decision for the fellowship program." Shaking her hand, walking her to the door.
"Thank you for the opportunity, Dr. Sanders, I look forward to hearing from you" walking out to head to her next interview. Thinking she could work here, Dr. Sanders seems nice enough, the staff seems just as pleasant.

When Tara leaves the interview, Dr. Sanders makes a quick call to one of his friends he met while giving a conference in Oakland. He remembered hearing he was looking for a new surgical protege. While talking at the conference he mentioned wanting to cut back on his surgery schedule in a few years, Dr. Sander's thinks Tara might be what he is looking for. She is smart, polite, eager to learn, and may benefit greatly as well as flourish more from one on one training to generates the best experience and to ensure she get the most knowledge transferred to her as possible but she is also bright enough to take on a heavier workload once trained, why not be trained by one of the best in northern California. Dr. Sander's makes the call. The doctor is highly interested but needs to talk with the hospital administrator about hiring her as well as bring her on as a fellow. The doctor explains will get back with him as soon as he can.

Getting back to her hotel room she calls Jess to let her know how everything went. "Jess, how are you?"
"Tired, just got off shift in the ER. To drunk idiots thought it would be ok to dance around a fire barrel. needless to say, the barrel won." Jess snorted a laugh, then continuing "They have burn's all over their backs. Painful shit, hopefully, they learned their lesson."
Laughing out loud Tara "I know, I shouldn't be laughing but how drunk were they for that to even have happened."
"Pretty drunk," Jess said
"How's my big baby doing, behaving for you?" Tara asks
"That monster, you call a baby, is just fine, missing you of course. You'll be heading home tomorrow morning, right?"
"Yeah, first thing in the morning, you'll be able to pick me up still?" Tara asked
"I'll be there," Jess told her
The remaining time they talk about her interviews, and how she really liked the first hospital better the second. Both would be calling her in about month or even a little longer regarding her fellowship. Packing up her things for the next morning's flight home.
Taking a relaxing bath, having a glass of white wine. Her mind wandering back to the previous night's events. Tara liked Donna a lot. Their conversations came easy like they had been friends forever the only other person she had that with is Jess. Opie and Jax where great as well. She could tell they both had a protective strike; she had noticed it when a few guys had come up to her and Donna while they danced. Tara wouldn't deny it turned her on when Jax wrapped his arms around her waist from behind as if staking his claim to her in front of those guys. There is just something about Jax that made her feel safe.

Jax and Opie had just gotten back from the meeting with Leroy, it had taken a lot longer to convince him that they would get the shipment he needed in the next few days. Now Jax and Op are sitting on the rooftop of the clubhouse sharing a joint while relaxing.
Op is just looking at Jax then asks "so, last night, what was up with you and that chick, dude? I don't think I've ever seen you hold a conversation with any woman that long before"
Thinking about his answer not really sure how to explain it "I don't know man, there was just something about her." Taking a hit of his joint "the sex was amazing, though" Op just hits him and said, "I don't want to hear about your sex life, dude."
"Not like that shit head, it was different with her than, any other chick I've been with." Jax tried to explain to his best friend. "alright let's go drink, enough talking like pussy's, shit sharing feeling, bro, when did we become chicks" laughing as Op nods his head agreeing.
"Ah, Jackie-boy! Heard you handled that Leroy meets like a boss." Chibs said as Jax walks back into the main room of the clubhouse, From the latter is in the hallway that leads to the roof where he and Op just were.
"It went ok man" Jax replied while grabbing a beer and sitting by the pool table where Tig is trying to beat the prospect, half-sack, he's not doing a good job by the looks of it. "hey, Tig you gonna let the prospect kick your ass at pool."
"Nah, man I got him, just watch!" Tig exclaimed earning a laugh from everyone around the table
"I don't think so man," Opie said taken a sip of his beer
Jax feels a hand slide up his back, then someone placing a kiss to his neck. Turning to look at who it was, Wendy arrg! Thinking to himself, not in the mode for anything tonight, not that he has ever gone there with her anyway. "Looking for some fun tonight Jax," she asks
"Not tonight, or ever for that matter," Jax said. Wendy has been hanging around the clubhouse for a while, always trying to sleep with him, no matter how much he turns her down, he's just not into her at all. "I think Bobby's looking for some company tonight" she huffs, storming off. He notices Op is smirking at him.
"Alright, boys, time to go, mom's dinner. You know she hates it when we're late" Jax said finishing off his beer. "Donna meeting us there?" he asked Opie "Yeah she should be there already helping your mom"

Tara arrived back in Chicago to see Jess waiting for her in front of the airport. "Jess, it's so good to see you, I've missed you."
Laughing "I just saw you two days ago," Jess tells Tara "come on, let's get home your big baby is missing you like crazy, he's just not the same without you."
Shaking her head "I missed him too"
The drive back to their house went by fairly fast. They shared a two-bedroom about 15 minutes from the hospital they both worked at. Tara met Jess three years ago while working an ER rotation at the hospital, they hit it off right away. A year later Jess was looking for a new place to rent, Tara offered, being she had an extra room. They lived together nicely, Jess is her only friend, sure she has acquaintance but that's about it.
Jess is an ER doctor she enjoyed the fast pace that comes with the job, not getting too attached to the patients, unlike Tara does with her patients, but it's understandable dealing with children, how can you not get a little attached, right? Tara handles it well though. Tara has been through a lot, the last two years since she'd been living with her between a crazy ex as well as the death of her mom.
Arriving home getting her bags and walking in the house, almost getting knocked over in the process. "Zeus" Tara exclaims happily while kneeling to greet her big grey Cane Corso. Scratching behind his floppy ears, kissing his head. Tara had gotten him 14 months ago, he weighs about 100 lbs. but he is still just a huge lap dog, he's head must be in her lap all the time, unless she sends him to his bed. Having a large dog Tara made sure to get him trained. Having gotten him after an end to a relationship she had, it lasted about four months. The guy became possessive, a little assertive, and aggressive by grabbing her by the arm roughly when she tried to break it off. The guy, whose name is Josh, still kept showing up with pink roses for about a month after the break-up. So, she got Zeus for companionship and protection. You can never be too safe, being a single woman in a big city, especially while running in the evening after work. Tara liked running it helped to clear her head after work.
"Alright, buddy let me in" Zeus continues to wag his tail, while practically bending his body in half, so happy she is home.
Walking to her room setting her bag down to unpack. While Zeus lays on her bed staring at her. "I know you missed me, buddy, I missed you too." Rubbing his ears
Placing her clothes in her dresser, then stares at her mom's picture, kissing her fingers and placing them to the picture "love you, mom." She has been thinking about her a lot lately it has been just over a year since her death. Breast cancer. Tara had gotten her tattoo on her back on the one-year anniversary. It's of her mother's favorite flower the Calla Lily and the date she passed. It's still hard for her, sometimes it just hits her out of know where and she'll start crying with warning.
