Chapter 2 Step #2 Finding Ways to Stop Anti-Xana
A.N. – Part two of three part arc series that focuses around the groups plans to stop Anti-Xana in this story. In this one the Lyoko three travel through the digital sea to find where the source of the signal is coming from last episode. What will they find? Time to find out!
Short Summary – The Lyoko three plan to travel to the source of the signal to find any traces of Anti-Xana. When they arrive, Anti-Xana is nowhere to be found, but a new replica. After entering it, the Lyoko Warriors look for a data tower. After recovering the data they head back, but what does this data reveal about Anti-Xana and his plans on the internet? Also, what does reveal about Anti-Xana's digital structure?

Jeremy's Room
The group, or what was left of it, gathered in Jeremy's room to discuss the plan for their trip to the network. Jeremy explained that this was reconnaissance mission for data gathering.
"If we come across a replica, we just get the coordinates. We need all five before we enter and attempt to destroy it" Jeremy said.
"So what do you hope this data will tell us Jeremy?" Ulrich said.
"Hopefully what Anti-Xana is planning and a way to stop him. Hopefully also what his data structure is so we can find out what his weakness is. Are you all ready?"
"Well what are we waiting for?"
"Okay let's go!"
The group rushed over to the factory to set out on their mission. They went from the academy to the park entrance and went down into the sewers. They all grabbed their vehicles, and headed towards the factory. Within five minutes they reached the ladder below the factory bridge. They climbed up the ladder and went to the elevator and descended to the laboratory.
"Okay enter the scanners and I'll virtualize you into Sector 5" Jeremy said.
The Lyoko three went one more level down to the scanner room. When they were there, Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich all entered one scanner.
"Are you all ready? I'm beginning the procedure. Transfer Ulrich. Transfer Odd. Transfer Aelita." All the Lyoko Warriors ID cards popped up as Jeremy started the process. "Scanner Ulrich. Scanner Odd. Scanner Aelita." All the ID cards and bodies scanned and indicated they were ready for the virtualization. "Virtualization!" Jeremy said as he hit the enter key and the Lyoko Warriors entered their precious virtual world.
Sector 5
Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich all virtualized and landed in the Arena. They were standing around waiting for the wall to open. When the opening dropped the Lyoko Warriors headed towards the Skid's hanger. They took the elevator up to where the Skid was docked.
"It sure has been a while since we were last to the digital sea" Ulrich said.
"Yeah it will be weird going back" Aelita said.
When the elevator stopped the Lyoko Warriors all got off and stood on their teleporter spots.
"Energize!" Jeremy said as the Lyoko three were all teleported inside the Skid. "Okay let's do this. Supports off!"
With that command the light supports holding the Skid were released and Aelita activated the main takeoff.
"Vertical propulsion activated. Liftoff!" Aelita said as she launched the Skid from its hanger and piloted it towards the exit of Sector 5.
"Opening tunnel" Jeremy said as he entered the command to open the tunnel to Lyoko sectors entrance to the digital sea.
Aelita piloted the Skid through the now open tunnel and activated all primary systems before diving. "Okay shields up and operational. Sonar active and functioning. Communications online and ready. Ready to dive in the digital sea?" Aelita asked her two male friends.
"Ready!" Odd and Ulrich replied in unison.
"Ready to dive" Aelita said as she lowered the skid into the digital sea and once again the Lyoko Warriors were back in the World Wide Web.
World Wide Web
The Skid exited the dome of Lyoko and the entrance closed.
"Aelita I'm sending you the coordinates of the source of the signal" Jeremy said as he sent the coordinates.
"Coordinates received. Rotation" Aelita said as she turned the Skid into cruise mood. After the coordinates were entered into the sonar she activated the propeller and broke Lyoko's gravity field and headed towards the source of the signal.
"We have to very careful now. With Anti-Xana roaming around the network, he could attack us at any time" Aelita said to keep the guys on alert at all times.
As the location of the coordinates neared, so does the quietness of the digital network.
"Does anyone think this is too quiet or too easy?" Ulrich asked.
"Yeah, you think Anti-Xana would want to protect this if it was important" Odd said.
"Do you guys see anything?" Jeremy said.
"Yeah, something that shouldn't be here" Aelita said concerned with what she saw.
"What is it?"
"Jeremy, it's…a…replica!"
"Oh no! We are too late! Anti-Xana has already began construction!"
"What should we do?"
"Hook up to it and send me the coordinates. That's all we need."
"Maybe we should go inside and find a tower so Aelita can gain access to files that Anti-Xana has stored here" Ulrich said.
"No, it would be too dangerous. This was only a data recovery mission."
"Then what data are we getting by you getting the coordinates?"
"He's right Jeremy. We need more if we are going to try to find a way to stop Anti-Xana" Aelita said.
"I know I'm going to regret this, but activate the digital key" Jeremy said.
Aelita activated the digital key and the access code crack panel was sent to Jeremy. "Weird" Jeremy said.
"What is it?" Aelita said.
"This code seems to have some extra protection on it. Like it's trying to keep us out. Might just be something Anti-Xana is doing."
"Just hurry up and open the damn door! I'm getting concerned sitting out here in the network."
"Okay just give me a second." Jeremy continued to crack the code. "Got it!" Jeremy said as the code was accepted and the door to the replica was opened.
Volcano Replica
The Skid ascended from a lava colored digital sea and headed to a molten like formation.
"So what sector did you appear on this time?" Jeremy said.
"You might not believe us but none of them" Ulrich said.
"What!? You're in a completely new sector."
"Yeah, looks inviting with all the volcanoes."
"Let's get out and find this tower. The less time we spend in this hell hole the better" Aelita said as she disembarked them from the Skid. "Okay let's get going."
Jeremy rematerlized their vehicles and Aelita activated her wings and they went off in a search for the tower.
"Be careful. We don't know what's different about this replica' Jeremy said.
Suddenly a huge monster spotted the Lyoko Warriors and started to target them. Jeremy immediately got a warning from Xana. "Watch out! Anti-Xana has control of my secret monsters! The volcanoids! –X."
"Guys watch out! A monster's targeting you!" Jeremy screamed into the mic just as the new monster fired at Ulrich's Overbike. Ulrich cried a little scream of pain as he was launched off his vehicle.
"Ulrich!" Aelita cried as she went back to protect him and Odd assisted her.
"Didn't expect that. Jeremy, ho many life points do I have?" Ulrich said.
"With your road rash and the dismount you got sixty left" Jeremy said.
"Then we got be careful" Ulrich said as new monster appeared. "This thing looks like trouble."
"Aelita there is a tower behind you! Get in and get the data!" Jeremy said.
"Good luck dealing with this asshole!" Aelita said as she ran for the tower.
"Okay now how do we kill this thing?" Ulrich said.
Aelita levitated to the top of the tower and accessed the data files. Meanwhile, Odd and Ulrich were struggling with the new monster. As the Volcanoid fired shots the Lyoko Warriors were losing life points slowly.
"Watch out for those shots! They're deducting your life points!" Jeremy said.
"Huh, what do you mean?" Odd said.
"Those exploding shots are deducting your life points if you're within the blast radius."
"Okay we'll be careful Jeremy. Any ideas?" Ulrich said to Odd running out of ideas.
Aelita finished extracting the data and sent it to Jeremy. She descended to the bottom and made it to the guys.
"Come on! Let's get the fuck outta here!" Aelita said as she ran past the Volcanoid ad towards the Skid.
"It's you lucky day volcano brain. Later!" Odd said as he and Ulrich did the same. The Volcanoid turned around and started to pursue them. "Doesn't this guy ever give up."
They made it to the Skid and quickly embarked and took off into the digital sea to escape the wrath of Anti-Xana.
"That was certainly an adventure" Ulrich said.
"Yeah, we're not going back without Yumi and William" Aelita said.
"Most definitely" Jeremy said as he started to analyze the data.
Laboratory
After the Lyoko three returned and rematerialized they all headed up to the lab to see Jeremy's new findings.
"Find anything new?" Aelita asked.
"Yeah, a bunch of numbers as well as some encrypted data. They look like coordinates. Maybe to the supercomputer location on Earth. What intrigues me the most is the encrypted data. That might tell us Anti-Xana's plans so I'll spend a few days decrypting it. Also I found this" Jeremy said showing them a picture of algorithms.
"You found a picture of a math program. I know you have big head Einstein, but this no time for a math lesson" Odd said disappointed with his findings.
"No you idiot! This is Anti-Xana's data structure that Tyron used to create him. if I can find a weakness in here and decrypt the flash drive, then we can find a way to destroy Anti-Xana for good."
"That's great Jeremy" Ulrich said.
"Thanks Ulrich" Jeremy said with happiness.
Okay well time to get back. Need time to recuperate from a trip to a Volcano Replica" Odd said.
"Jeremy, what was that weird creature?" Aelita asked.
"When Xana contacted me, he called it a Volcanoid" Jeremy said.
"They seem very dangerous."
"Which is why I want Yumi and William there with you next time we go. Probably any mission to a replica, we bring them along. Seems like Anti-Xana is going to pull out all the stops to stop you from figuring out what he planning on Earth."
The gang all arrived at the academy and all went to their rooms. Jeremy escorted Aelita to hers.
"Jeremy, now that you have work to do, it's time for you to keep your promise to me" Aelita said.
"And what was that?' Jeremy asked.
"To not be an asshole" Aelita answered him with a smile. Jeremy nodded and after this first successful mission of the New Year, the Lyoko Warriors recharged for another day.
A.N. – So I decided that the first mission was to the Volcano Replica. The one and only, at least for this story.
