Training for the Entrance Exam
I also want everyone to know that I was inspired to write this story because of the story, "Thank You by MizuToriFFn. I think his story with Izuku and Momo WAS AMAZING! It's still going on. Honestly, his story is way better than mine, but I am trying to improve my writing too. So please check his story out too!
Hello, I hope everyone loved the previous chapter. So far there haven't been any complaints, my main worry was Naruto being given all of Kurama instead of only half. Then Naruto accepting One For All. That was a problem I was worried that people wouldn't like, don't worry Naruto will work hard to control it. I want to make a relationship with Naruto and Momo and a good one. A big thing I saw on her bio is that she relies on others for moral support. That's a big role that Naruto is going to fill. If you got questions concerns PM me or place them in reviews. I want reviews so I can see what I can improve on or fix. That's why I encourage people to please put reviews even if its one word! Anyways! On with the story!
Last Chapter
Naruto found himself looking at the three with a sad look on his, "I-I'm sorry All Might… I-I didn't mean to… I don't know what happened". Naruto couldn't control himself; he didn't know what to do.
"Y-You have seemed to lost control when sparring with me… you unleashed this red chakra cloak around your body". Toshinori looked at Naruto confused.
Naruto looked dejected and Torino, who has only known the boy for a week now. Never did he think that he possessed this power, "Naruto it's okay you can tell us anything".
Naruto felt the pit in his stomach, now he was worried. To think that this would happen, was this as the result of having the nine tails in him? What was it? "Well for starters… I'm the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune".
Now
Naruto began to tell All Might, Torino, Recovery Girl, and even Nezu. Toshinori called Nezu about this and figured it be important that he knew. Naruto talked about his past since he could remember. He was also treated horribly in Konoha, many of the villagers hated him. So many of them would go so far as to try to take his life several times. Many of them would try to do what they could to get rid of him. Even the orphanage would kick him out on random days where he had to defend himself. There was no way to defend himself from the glares he received from others. There was no way for him to defend himself from the angry mobs that would gather.
Naruto went to explain, in brief detail, about how they would on 'Fox Hunts'. They would chase Naruto out of town after they've beaten him up. In hopes that he would be driven out of the village and die. They would drag him out of his sleep and begin to beat the crap out of him trying to kill him. He would be stabbed, punched, arms broken, hit in the head with bats. They did everything and anything they could to kill him. The worse nights were his birthdays, that's when the mods would get drunk and so would some of the chunin and Jōnin of the leaf. Those who still hated Naruto, they would try even harder out of one day of the year to really kill him. He would be called a demon, monsters, child killer, murderer, or anything they could come up with to hurt Naruto.
In the beginning, it was glares, shouts, name-calling, but then it escalated to beatings and then attempts on his life. They tried to prolong his suffering so there was no way for him to ever enjoy the day he was born. They would make sure he was scared, they made sure he would never want to be a ninja. They did their hardest to make him suffer, they went as so far and pour burning oil on him. That was after they dragged him out of bed and beaten on him. Some went as far as to buy corrosive acids to try to kill Naruto. They also would try to starve him out, it happened when Hiruzen went out on a meeting with the Kazekage. For that week Naruto was starved of food when he would go out and be given food. He would go home and put it away, people would rush in and pin him to the wall. They would grab whatever food he had and threw it to the ground lacing it with rat poison. They would shove it down his throat asking if he was hungry. Naruto only survived those three times because an Anbu stopped them one time, he had white gravity-defying hair. The other time was by an Anbu with purple hair, the last time he only survived thanks to Kurama. His chakra helped filter that large amounts of rat poison from Naruto's system. Though the chakra could only do so much, Naruto did almost die from that.
Naruto then decided to finish, "That continued on like that until I became a Genin of Konoha. It was hard… I never knew why I couldn't drive myself to hate them for what they did to me. To think that I was kept going and kept on living. I know it drove to me to the point where I wanted to die. I wanted to end my life so I could end this pain. I want to know why? Why did I become the demon? Why was I given this heavy burden? I still don't know even today. All I know is that I've been hated since the day I was born".
Everyone in the room had nothing to say, even Nezu was experimented on was able to relate to Naruto. Toshinori had no words to describe the words that came out of Naruto's mouth. Recovery Girl was mortified to hear this, she wanted to know why this boy had to go through so much. Before anyone could continue Naruto gave them a small smile looking at the floor, "Then I met Sasuke, I heard about how he lost his parents after his older brother killed his entire clan. In a way, I was able to relate to him. He didn't have parents anymore; I never knew my parents though. I met Sakura, Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, Kiba, Hinata, Neji, Lee, and Tenten. They were the first group of friends I was able to make. I also Ayame and Teuchi, the only civilians who didn't hate me. Iruka, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shizune, and even Jiji-san. They didn't hate me, then there was Kakashi-sensei who cared about me. I've finally met people who didn't hate me, scorn me, and were okay with me being the loudmouth knuckled headed drop-dead the last idiot! Now they're gone just like that, to think I was then thrown into another world. I also failed too; I promised my teammate Sakura that I bring our teammate Sasuke back. He had a desire to find his brother and kill him for revenge. All I know is his brother killed his clan and his parents. I don't know what it's like to lose parents because I've never had any". Naruto looked up at All Might, Recovery Girls, Nezu, and Torino, "To think that I end up meeting people who would end up being too kind and nice to me. It's a new thing… to go to a school with some of them looking forward to seeing me the next was new. I know you want to know what that red chakra was, that was because I was made into the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. I don't know why the Four Hokage sealed the nine tails into me, I never will. That's what my Sensei Jiraiya told me. You need to know that the nine tails fox attacked the village the night I was born. He rampaged around and killed a lot of people, took lives from people, he took fathers, mothers, siblings, children, nephews, grandmas, grandpas, and more. I can understand why everyone hated me then. I was this demon that I was changed into, sometimes I wondered if I really was the demon. I know he is sealed in me, Jiraiya-Sensei told me that I was made into a Jinchuriki. Though… I still wondered with all this anger and hate that's been building up. I'm scared that I'll snap one day, I know that people view me as a monster and a demon. It's just hard to accept".
Toshinori asked, "Naruto I know you don't want to hear people telling that they're sorry. You need to know that the first day I met you. I've never seen anything like that in you, you need to know that you aren't a demon, that were here if you need us".
Torino walked over, "Naruto I know I've might have not known you for that long. For you to tell us this much, to tell us this painful backstory of yours. It shows how much you've matured and grown as a person. You're no monster or demon, you can't control what was done to you. For you to stay an innocent, pure, and happy soul. Whether your dream is to be Hokage or a Hero I think it's very possible. Don't let others stop you, I know you can go far". Torino brought Naruto in for a hug which surprised the blonde. Naruto instinctually hugged back; Torino felt Naruto shake from his hug. Naruto began to cry as Torino patted and rubbed his back. Torino sighed, "Naruto… is this the first time you've ever been hugged?" Without saying a word Naruto nodded his head up and down.
"I-In along… long time". Naruto muttered with tears running down his face.
Everyone looked at the grandfather figure and grandson figure, to think that a boy like Naruto. To be this happy, this energetic, and a smile always on his face to turn out like this. This made Toshinori feel that Naruto was an even better candidate to inherit One For All. The rest of the day was consoling Naruto helping him feel better. Helping him move on from the past was the hardest, but they did warn him. That one day he will have to trust others, one day that he will have to tell someone else about his past. Naruto smiled; he knew that they were behind him. They were going to back him up and support him all the way.
Next Day
Naruto was smiling as he was walking to school, he was thinking about the other day. Naruto feels as if he has grown closer to Torino and Toshinori. Naruto was beginning to enjoy his time here more now; he has people that are truly looking out for him. Torino was beginning to morph into Naruto's grandfather like figure. Naruto's thought was cut off when he heard a limo pull up. Momo walked out, "Oh hey good morning Naruto!" Momo goes out of her limo to walk with Naruto, "I didn't get a text from ya last night you alright?"
Naruto realized, "Oh? I forgot my phone at home! I'm still new to this whole having a phone thing. I was so tired from training last night I passed out on my bed!" Naruto chuckled as Momo shook her head.
"You need to be careful; training is important and all. Overdoing it like that doesn't help you". Momo scolded Naruto.
Naruto smirked, "Yes Mom". Naruto said in a sarcastic tone.
"Hey! Don't get smart with me mister!" Momo smirked looking into Naruto's eyes.
Naruto stared back into her eyes, "PPFFTT!"
"Ahahahahaah!" Momo and Naruto began to laugh as the two walked to school, "I swear Naruto you're a funny guy ya know that?" Momo giggled.
Naruto waved her comment off, "Nah I just know when to make a good joke".
Momo chuckled, "You know Naruto I thought about what you told me last week".
"What did I say?" Naruto said curiously.
"Ahahaha that's so you, your so forgetful. Well, remember how you told me how cool my quirk was?" Momo smiled as her arms went behind her back as she walked ahead up of Naruto. She twirled around with her arms extending outwards and then going behind her back, "You said that I still totally get into U.A! So, I decided! You and I are going to get into U.A together! I know the answer, but are you going to get in without a recommendation?"
"Oh yeah! I'm going to get in with my strength!" Naruto gave her a foxy grin and a thumbs up.
"That's what I thought, I gave it more thought too! Do you know if we could train together? I want to get a stronger hand to hand combat! I thought you might be just the person I got for!" Momo said excitedly with a hint of nervousness behind her voice.
Naruto smiled, "That be awesome Momo! A friend of my Jiji is going to come to train me in the Kame style maybe you can learn a thing or two?"
Momo said happily, "That be great! I know I can create weapons or whatever I need in an instant but learning a fighting style would be better!"
"Yash! Let's get into U.A together Dattebayo!" Naruto fist-pumped the air as Momo giggled at his verb tic.
"What does Dattebayo mean?" Momo chuckled at his verb tic.
"Hey! I only use it when I'm excited!" Naruto complained.
"I think it's cute, what side that come from?" Momo giggled asking.
"Well I got it from my Kaa-san's side, Tou-san told me that she was a hell of a girl". Naruto smiled, "But I don't remember much after that". Naruto didn't really know where he got it, he is just pulling shit out of his ass.
"Well, now I know where that came from!" Momo chuckled, "Common we're going to be late!"
"Make a pair a skates! I got this!" Naruto smirked as Momo created skates and she grabbed on to his jacket. Naruto took off as Momo trailed behind on skates as the two zoomed to class.
Time Skip After School Training Grounds at Naruto's House
"Ah, Naruto I see you brought a friend". Torino smiled seeing Momo walk up.
"Hello, my name is Yaoyorozu Momo. I'm a friend of Naruto's". Momo gave a polite bow.
"I see, well I'm assuming you're here to train?" Torino smiled looking up at Momo.
"Yes, I plan on trying to get into U.A but I do not have any type of hand to hand skills. I figured if Naruto was a hand to hand user, I thought I could learn a thing or two". Momo looked at Naruto excitedly.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "I hope it isn't an issue, but she is becoming a good friend. We both want to get into U.A with our own strength".
Soon an old man who was Master Roshi came walking up, he is bald, with a thick white fu Manchu mustache and beard. He is almost always seen wearing his trademark sunglasses. He wears beach clothes or a martial arts suit and a Turtle Shell on his back. He usually wields a walking stick. He walked up and smirked, "Ahehehehe wooo! You brought a cutie to help train! I'll be happy to oblige!"
Naruto deadpanned, "Another pervert!?" Naruto facepalmed, "I wonder if Ero-Sennin and Master Roshi would meet up… what would happen?"
"I'm not just any pervert… I'm a super old pervert". He caressed his mustache smirking.
Momo deadpanned, "This guy is supposed to be a martial artist? Besides…I'm twelve" She held up her cell phone with 110 dialed on the phone, "Pedophile". Momo glared at him. (A/N: 110 is the police emergency number in Japan).
"Roshi is all seriousness these two need to be trained, I figure you be a perfect teacher for these two". Torino quickly stated, "I have it if you train them without being a pervert". Torino started quickly as Roshi smiled.
"Okay let's get ready!". Master Roshi comes back with a crate full of milk bottles.
Naruto left and put on an orange shirt and black shorts. Momo came walking out wearing a purple sports tank top and short black shorts with gym shoes. Naruto realized just how mature Momo was physical. He quickly turned his head away from her figure as Master Roshi began their training.
End of the Day
Momo was flat on her stomach tired with a purple turtle shell on her back. She had smaller shells on her legs and arms. Naruto was hunched over tiredly breathing with a larger turtle shell on his back. Naruto also had on the smaller shells around his body like Momo, though his were a bit heavier. Naruto and Momo have been doing endurance training, so far Naruto and Momo have proven themselves for Master Roshi to teach. However, the final test they had to pass, they had to move a giant rock. No powers, no quirks, jus raw physical strength. The training session has only just begun with the two training together. Master Roshi specifically said that they each separately had to move the rock ten feet. Then and only then would he begin to start training them, "D-Dang it! T-This is hard! *Huff* this training is a lot *huff* more than I expected. J-Jeez *huff* you're still standing! I-I *Huff* can barely feel my legs!"
"Well, that's enough for today". Torino walked over, "We'll continue tomorrow".
"I want to point something out… if you two can't push the rock by the end of this week. I won't train either of you". Master Roshi said sternly as he punched the ground pulling the large rock out of the ground.
Momo's eyes widen in worry a bit, she wasn't too sure if she could do it! The rock had to be almost as tall as All Might or even taller! Momo looked worriedly and wasn't too sure if she could do it! If she couldn't even handle the turtle shells! How is she going to move it! "Hey!" Momo was shaken out of her stupor when Naruto called to her, "Don't you dare give up Momo, don't think you can't do this! We'll just train harder! I know we can do this! I know YOU can do this! Don't you dare think you can't!" Naruto smirked at her. He held his hand out to help pick her up from the ground.
Momo smiled, "I-I… thanks, Naruto, I'll do my best". She accepted his gesture and the two
Momo tiredly accepted his help and stood up, but she felt her legs wobble and she fell into Naruto's chest. Though Naruto was able to keep her up, "T-Thanks". She blushed at the close contact.
"Yeah, no problem! I'll help you walk home". Naruto smiled as he gently moved away to allow Momo to stand. Then Momo wobbled and Naruto and caught her, "You know what". Naruto turned around and knelt down. Momo hopped on his back, she blushed feeling the close contact. She knew her chest was pushed up against his back. Naruto ignored her body against his, "You comfy?"
Momo blushed, "I-I uhhh yeah I am… thanks for doing this". Momo said upsettingly.
The two walked off as Master Roshi chuckled, "Those don't know it do they".
"Hmm, I have to guess its Naruto who doesn't know it". Torino chuckled, "The boy is far too innocent when it comes to girls. He has no idea, but I don't think Momo does either. I bet that she will realize she likes him first".
"I have no doubt, now where is that special addition bikini magazine of Midnight and Mt. Lady!" Master Roshi perversely chuckled.
With Naruto and Momo
Naruto was walking with Momo on his back, "Sorry for asking you to do this for me". Momo was a bit embarrassed.
Naruto chuckled waving it off, "Momo I'm more than happy to do this. You know, I'm glad we've met you've really been helping me out adjusting to school".
Momo chuckled, "Yeah, I enjoy helping you out. Honestly, I think you're the only true friend I could consider all the girls in the school". Momo felt her eyelids heavy.
"Y-Yeah so I was wondering… you think we could study for the history exam next week?" Naruto asked as he looked down at the ground.
"Y-Yeah I can… help you… study…zzz". Momo fell asleep on Naruto's back as he carried her back home. Thankfully he remembered where she lived and carried her home. Naruto felt her chest on his back, had to admit she was well endowed. Soon he shook his head wanting to get such things out of his head. He also realized that she doesn't know about the nine tails fox. He wondered how she would take it. He pushed it to the back of his mind, he doesn't know how she would take it.
Soon he arrived at her house…err… mansion and was allowed through the gate. He forgot that she doesn't have a house, she has a mansion. He walked up to the front door. The door opened as he met a woman with black straight hair, onyx eyes, shaped like Momo's eyes that resembled cats. A man with short black spiky hair, "Ohhh uhhh hello Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu. I'm Uzumaki Naruto, I would bow, but I currently have your daughter on my back". Naruto was a little nervous meeting her parents like this. Her mother had long leg length hair with her hair in a ponytail.
The woman smiled cheerily, and the father didn't seem to happy, "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Naruto! Momo talks a lot about you!" Momo's mother chuckled.
Naruto began to sweat a little bit, "O-Oh yeah she has! T-That's flattering, she has really been a good friend. She has done a lot like helping me adjust to the school".
The woman smiled, "Well I'll take her off your hands, I know my husband has been dying to meet you!" She gently took Momo off his back and took her to her room.
Naruto found himself standing in front of her father. He tapped his foot at a slow pace and slowly sped up. Naruto was a bit nervous meeting his friends' father so soon. Momo's father was a hulking beast, he was fricken jacked! Especially because Momo was a girl… he was a boy, "So… my little princesses' friend huh? Hmmm, I don't know if I like you!" Naruto got a better look at Momo's father he is a handsome young man with black hair and violet eyes. He is very tall and has a muscular build.
"W-What I-I uhhh I". Naruto was a little nervous he didn't know what to think. He was never taught in a situation like this before! Dammit! Of all the things! He should have asked Torino for advice like this! Wait! Does he like Momo!? The only reason he should be thinking like this is if he liked her! "WAIT DO I? I-I've always like Sakura!? Wait… she isn't here… she would ways punch me… tackle me to the ground… Momo is quiet and sweet, she speaks her opinion when she wants to. I mean she is a lot prettier than Sakura and all…wait… I-I… I like".
"ANATA! WHAT DID I TELL YOU!" Naruto was taken back as Momo's mom came walking back in as she body-slammed her husband into the ground.
"W-wait! Honey! *Ack*! It's not what you think I was j-just! Honey! T-THAT HAWRTS!" The father began to whine as Momo's mother was pulling on his cheek after she bodied him into the wall.
"I swear! The first boy that Momo interacts with you go bat shit crazy! I swear!" Momo's mother let a sigh out. "Wait she the one who is going bat shit crazy!" Naruto shouted to himself. Now that Naruto saw Momo's mother, she was kinda scary. Then her personality made a 180, "Now! You said your name was Naruto Uzumaki?" Naruto got a better look at Momo's mother is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair is usually tied in a long ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.
"Oh yeah! It's a pleasure to meet you both you of you! Like I said before your daughter is a really good friend! I've never had any friends growing up! I've never had a friend like her before, she truly is important to me!" Naruto was didn't know how to act in front of a friend's parents. Typically, he shoots his mouth off not giving a crap about what they say to him. He knows that most parents in the elemental nations hated him. So, it was easy for him to prank, shoot his mouth off, or do whatever he wanted! This was a completely different scenario and he had no idea how to handle this!
Momo's mother chuckled putting her hand over her mouth, "Well I must be thanking you; we aren't here that often. We're both busy with work most of the time. Momo doesn't have any true friends of her own. Since we've moved, she hasn't been as cheery as she uses to. Since she has brought you up at dinner the other night. She has been happier, I see her smile more, I see a better aura around her!"
"Well, thanks then… I've been told I'm pretty good at helping others. That's what I want to do, your daughter has made me happy. Happier than I've been since my Tou-san passed away. She is really special to me, honestly, she has been helping me out a lot. Being adopted and moved to a new location and everything. It's a lot of stress, the only way I vent out my stress would be training myself into the ground". Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "I think I'm also a better student because of her". Naruto remembers her berating him if he failed the next history quiz.
Momo's mother giggled, "Naruto… I must ask do you like my daughter. Don't give me I like her as a friend bull crap. Give it to me straight".
Naruto scratched his cheek, "Honestly, I don't know… she is really nice and pretty. She has helped me through a lot. Since she is my first real friend… I think I'd like to wait until I gave you my answer. Right now,… I just see her as a friend, a friend that I can rely on".
Momo's mother was not expecting that type of answer, "Hmmm well I think my opinion of you just changed. Though I think I like it, your different… to be frank you're a lot better at expressing your feeling than a certain someone". She raised an eyebrow at her husband.
"WAIT HOLD UP! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE QUESTIONING THIS BOYS MOTIVES! THIS IS MY BABY GIRL WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE SO I'M ACTING LIKE A FATHER". He was cut off as Mrs. Yaoyorozu glared at him.
"Anata… sit…". She glared at him as he sat down on the ground like a dog, "Rollover". He rolled over…, "Now beg".
"P-Please honey! I know what you're thinking we shouldn't do this in front of the enemy!" He groaned as she was enjoying this more than she should.
She smiled at him and then smiled at Naruto, "Your lucky Momo inherited her father's personality. Protective, hardworking, smart, and intelligent. She didn't, however, inherit my love for domination. Young Naruto, I like you, I really do, but you tell Momo and of this, I'll castrate you! Have a good night!" She slammed the door as Naruto stood there. He looked at his hands, "If I gouge my eyes out and rip my ears off… can I regenerate them later? I need to un-hear and unsee what I just witness".
"WAIT, HONEY! NO STOP! AHHHHH!" Naruto heard the cries of help from Momo's father. Naruto began to sweat wondering what he got himself into.
Naruto made his trek home with a smile on his face. He thought it was nice for Momo to have a family, her father was funny, her mother was scary as hell. Though it was family, knowing the love from a father and mother was something he still yearned for. Naruto made his way home, showered, ate, did what homework he had, and went to sleep. For whatever reason, he looked at his phone. He got a text from Momo, she so happened to wake up to find out he carried her home. Momo texted him, "Thanks to taking me home Naruto! I enjoyed the ride on your back… for your height your quite strong! Lol! See you tomorrow!" After the text, she sent him a selfie of her in her PJs. They were red Pjs that were big and lose on her body. Naruto felt blood shoot from his nose, he notices how much of her cleavage was shown, "IS SHE TRYING TO KILL ME!" Naruto knew this was going to an interesting friendship with her. Naruto type on his phone, "Yeah, and no problem, I was happy to take you back home. Have a good night". Naruto sent it and put his phone down and laid down and fell asleep.
Kurama in Mindscape
Kurama was a little annoyed but found this entire situation entertaining. He noticed something on the cage in the seal. He smirked, he saw a crack on the bars and the seal that was on the cage was ripped at the top corner. He smirked, "I'll get my freedom one day… just you wait Uzumaki Naruto… I will be free. This damn seal can't hold all of my power".
Time Skip Six Days
After the days of continuous training with Naruto and Master Roshi. Today was the day that Momo and Naruto had to push the boulder ten feet. If they could do that, Master Roshi would teach them the Kame fighting style. Momo over the course of the week grew worried each day. She only moved up five or ten pounds. While Naruto, on the other hand, shot up close to fifty to eighty pounds in weight. She knew about the difference in anatomy, but she began to doubt herself if she could even do it. She can't even do it; she won't be able to get into U.A. She doesn't want to get in an easy way. She wants to get in earning it, earning it like Naruto wants to.
Naruto walked up to the boulder and moved it to its ten feet without breaking a sweat. He didn't boast or anything. He gave her a thumbs up and smiled with his foxy grin. She swore that grin was infections, she always smiles back at him when he does that. Momo nodded her head as she walked up to the boulder and began to push. Momo watched how Naruto did it, he simply put his hands on it and pushed. Momo began to think and calculate a way to do so, she lifted the boulder up a bit from the bottom. She felt the rock move up; she began to push. The dirt in her way began to push and away for her to move.
She kept going as she heard Naruto cheer, she saw him telling that she could do it. Momo was worried as she took a small breather, can she do it? Can she really push forward with all her strength? "YOU DUMMY KEEP GOING I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!" Naruto called over, Momo realized it, she kept doubting herself she kept worrying. She smiled and muttered, 'Thanks Naruto'. Momo took another breather and heaved the boulder forward. Her feet dug into the ground as she pushed forward and felt the rock moving. She kept pushing so had the determination back in her eyes. Before she kept going Master Roshi hopped off. Momo realized she pushed the boulder all the way back where it first was.
"You two show a lot of promise, tomorrow your training has just begun". Master Roshi looked at Naruto and Momo.
Naruto ran over and high fived Momo, "You did it! What do I keep telling you! You're amazing Momo, you're going to go far as a hero! Of course, you'll never be better than me!"
Momo gave him a smirk, "Is that a challenge!?"
"I don't know. Is it?" Naruto smirked while Momo could feel a small spark of tension between the two.
"All right you two love birds, let's focus here". Master Roshi caught them off guard as Momo blushed along with Naruto hiding his.
Master Roshi began to go through the fighting technique for Naruto and Momo, "The kame style is focused around endurance and strength, as much of the training involves wearing weighted clothing. The training will be long and rigorous, I hope you're prepared". Master Roshi took out similar clothing to their Kuoh outfits, then Master Roshi handed Naruto Anbu gear. Naruto specifically asked this to be made.
Naruto wanted this to be his hero costume. Naruto began to change right in front of Momo unaware of Momo's wandering eyes. Naruto didn't really care; he kept his underwear on. Naruto's outfit consisted of a simple blue suit with a grey flak jacket, strapped up sandals and arm guards that went up to his elbows. He had segmented gauntlets and bandages over his calves. Naruto was also given a fox mask as well. Before Naruto covered the lower half of his face with a mask that went up to his nose. Then he placed the fox mask over his face, the mask had red and black markings around the eyes, sides, and mouth. (A/N: Basically the Anbu outfit the cover page for the story).
Momo had to admit that Naruto looked pretty hot in his outfit. Torino handed Momo her outfit that would be used when she was a hero, "Naruto personally asked me to get this made for you". With that comment Momo had a small blush appear on her face. Momo looked at her outfit she was handed. Momo remembers that a few days ago Naruto asked for her hero costume design and some of her hair. It confused her, but she was okay with and trusted him. What she doesn't know is that Naruto's grandfather was Gran Torino. He sent it to his agency to have an outfit custom made outfit, "I pulled some strings and the people had your DNA infused with your outfit. It grows along with you and for Naruto too. It will allow you to use your quirk without having to remove any type of clothing.
Momo went into the house to change, she still had the image of Naruto without his shirt on burned into her mind. He was really toned; she didn't even know because of the clothes he wears. Soon Momo came walking out, Naruto couldn't help but give her a stare. Even master Roshi had to cover his nose so it didn't bleed. Though it was for nothing he was sent flying like a pervert. Momo's costume consists of a high-collared, sleeveless crimson leotard with silver lines at her waist and around her arms, which is open to expose her skin from her neck to just below her navel. She sports calf-length crimson boots with heels, which dip sharply down in the center, and two gold utility belts around her waist, another, thinner one around the top portion of her chest, below her shoulders. The design choice allows her to create items from as many points in her body as possible, as her Quirk can only be used if her skin is exposed. Though thanks to the design with her DNA mixed with it. She could create anything from any part of her body including through the outfit.
Momo walked over unaware of Master Roshi's actions, "So how does my outfit look? I hope it isn't too revealing".
Naruto tried not to stare, "W-Well I-I think it looks nice! I mean it is a tad bit revealing but remember you can change it a bit to cover yourself up. Your outfit won't be destroyed when you use your quirk".
Momo was a bit embarrassed, but she did have a sports bra on where her cleavage is shown, "Thanks I think you look quite cool in your outfit. Might even say badass". Momo giggled. Naruto had his fox mask on the right side of his face.
"Thanks, I think your outfit looks stunning on you". Naruto nodded giving her a thumbs-up as Momo thanked him.
"Alright now we're going to get to some serious training. I hope your ready because this won't be easy". Master Roshi fixed his glasses as they let out a gleam as he smiled.
Time Skip Half a Year Later
It was early August and Naruto was in a fighting stance a few feet from Momo. He was waiting for Momo until she rushed forward as she equipped skates with rockets. She had a staff in hand, Naruto only had a kunai in his hand as the two sparred. Momo spun the staff in her hand to block Naruto's kunai. She swung the end of the staff furthest away from her. Naruto quickly ducked underneath dodging her attack. Naruto swung his leg at her feet, Momo quickly stabbed the ground with her staff to jumped over his attack. She placed her hands on his head using it to vault over Naruto.
After Momo vaulted over Naruto she swung her fist to punch Naruto. Though he disappeared in a puff a cloud of smoke as Naruto kicked her from behind. Momo went flying forward, she flipped herself over, she used the rubber pads on her skates to stop her from sliding, "Cheeky". Momo was cut off when Naruto rushed her throwing a kunai at her. Momo was spun her staff blocking the kunai. She quickly swung to her right, but Naruto was on her left, "Crap!" Momo said as Naruto's fist met her stomach knocking the wind out of her.
Momo fell to the ground gasping for air, "Alright that's enough". Master Roshi smiled as he came walking over.
"You've been exceptional, you've grown strong and learned your own version of my Kame Fighting Style". Master Roshi spoke proudly. Torino was proud of the two.
Momo gave a slight bow, "Yeah it's been awesome! I've gotten way stronger than I used to be".
"Yeah, but you think too much". Naruto walked over, "Thinking too much will cost you a fight".
"Shut up I know". Momo puffed her cheeks out, her intellect causes her to want to analyze and think of a plan. Naruto is able to go with the flow and adapt easier than she can.
"Don't worry you'll get there". Naruto patted her back, Naruto smiled with a foxy grin on his face. Naruto was currently 5'1 while Momo was 5'1.
Momo couldn't help but smile back when Naruto did, damn his contagious smile. Torino smiled, "Well that about wraps up training today".
"Yes, you've completed my training. There is nothing more for me to teach you". Master Roshi nodded his head happily for the two.
Naruto and Momo were pretty shocked to hear this, "Let me guess we've mastered your fighting style, we added our own quirks to it. Because our fighting style revolves around our quirks that means we've taken different paths".
"That's right, therefore I cannot teach you anything else. All I hope you two will become fine students and wear your turtle school crest proudly on your outfits". Master Roshi bowed. Momo had her crest on the back of her outfit. Naruto had his symbol on his back of his armor.
Master Roshi turned around, "Its time to continue on your training on your own, I've been proud to be your master. Now it's time for the students to pass the teacher". Master Roshi began to walk off.
"W-Wait". Naruto felt hurt it was as if Master Roshi was just going to leave them like that!
"What? You want to join me?" Roshi was confused.
"Where are you going? You're just going to leave!?" Momo said surprised, even if the old coot was a pervert. He was still Momo's first master, and Naruto's master as well.
"Wow Momo, I didn't think you want to join me? I mean if you're a lesbian its understandable. I'm going to the mall to see some real beauties! I've never been able to look at you because I look at you like a granddaughter and that's creepy". Master Roshi chuckled.
Momo sighed looking away ashamed that she forgot about her master's perverted nature. Naruto chuckled as Master Roshi walked off into the sunset. Torino sighed, "I will never understand him, but he would have made a great hero".
"Would have?" Naruto said confused.
"Yea… would have been, but he too much of a pervert". Torino chuckled, "But he is a good friend, this time he better stay in contact".
Naruto and Momo shook their heads, time flew by in six months. Naruto smiled it was soon time for them to head back to school. It was early August, they were going to be starting school back up soon, "I can't believe in another school year is starting soon". Naruto scratched his head.
"Yeah, I can't wait, to think that we're going to be thirteen". Momo smiled, "Well then in a couple of years were going to be trying to get into U.A".
"Yeah remember we need to get in together!" Naruto extended his fist out for Momo to fist bump.
Momo smirked as she watched the sun setting, "Yeah". She fist-bumped Naruto's fist.
"I'll walk ya home". Naruto waved to her as Momo nodded her head as the two began to walk together.
Torino sighed as Toshinori came walking up in his skeletal body, "Torino… tell me do you think Naruto will inherit One For All?"
"Toshinori I don't know if he will, as I know right now. I have a feeling Naruto is going to be having a hard time soon. I think it be wise to give him his space". Torino spoke as Toshinori nodded his head.
Toshinori raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
Torino sighed, "Well it started about a month ago".
Flashback One Month
It was summer break as Momo went with her parents on a vacation. They went to visit America and Naruto stayed in Japan to continue training. Naruto was currently in bed trying to get much-needed sleep. He had a long training session with Master Roshi, All Might, and Torino. Naruto has been trying to control his chakra better, he began to slowly to try to master the power of the nine tails. Naruto looked at his phone to see Momo sending him photos of her holding the statue of liberty in her hands. Naruto typed, "I can't wait for you to come home! I can't wait for you to tell me about your trip! I'm so jealous! I'm going to sleep! Have a good day!" Naruto sent the text as he laid down to sleep.
In the Seal
In the darkness a single eye opened, it was crimson red with a black slit in the middle. Kurama has been really halted so far by Naruto trying to control his chakra. His mental state has made it very hard for Kurama to be eating away at the seal in Naruto's body. Now that Momo isn't here, now he has a chance to strike. Breaking out of this damn seal was on his agenda, he needed to get out. He was not going to be held back by a damn human! He sent his chakra towards the seal from inside the cage. He didn't try to pry it off or red gates would slam down and stop him in an instant. So, he had to break Naruto, break Naruto mentally.
Naruto's Dream
Naruto found himself back in Konoha, he saw everyone around him once again. The people who hated him, the people who tried to kill him. They began to torture and attack him over and over again. Naruto felt pain all around his body as he felt them cut, stab, burn, skin, and electrocute him.
Naruto cried for help, but no one came, he called for Kakashi, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Sakura, Sasuke, and everyone else. He began to call for Torino, All Might, and especially Momo. He caught himself calling for Momo. The girl who saved him from himself, the girl who became his true friend. A friend who was ever better than the others back in the leaf he hardly knew. Naruto didn't see anyone come to save him. Just then a voice called out, the mob parted for the person to walk forward.
Naruto in his beaten and bloody state, he saw Momo standing there, "M-Momo!" Naruto tried to move but someone pinned his arm down breaking it. Naruto couldn't fight back at all, "M-Momo!"
Momo walked over and frowned, "Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me you had this demon fox in you? A demon fox that killed people. If it resonated inside of you, that must mean you're a demon".
"W-What? M-Momo it's me Naruto your". Naruto was cut off by Momo's words.
"What friend? All I see is a liar and a monster in front of me. You killed people, stole people's livelihood! You took your parent's lives! You took children! Brothers! Sisters! I'm not your friend… I regret ever being your friend. Now die like the demon you are". Momo made a canon from her stomach and fire it at Naruto's face.
Real World
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Naruto shot up in his bed in a heat of sweat as his eyes were crimson red with black slits. Naruto held his head in pain as he looked at his sheets, "I-It was just a dream! Just a dream!" Naruto felt his head hurting, his heart hurting. Why? Why would he have a dream about someone who cared about him kill him?
Soon Torino came running in, "NARUTO YOU ALRIGHT!" The jet user asked worriedly.
Naruto blinked as his eyes returned to normal, "I-I just had a bad dream". Naruto held his head.
Torino was surprised, Naruto has not had one nightmare. Though it made sense since he is in a new world. Leaving his old world could be affecting him, "Y-You want to talk about it?" Torino asked.
Meanwhile in the Seal
Kurama during Naruto's state of weakness and panic slammed against the seal. He flooded the seal with his chakra, the entire sewer was filled with his chakra. The Naruto in front of him was covered up in his chakra. Just then he was stopped as red gates slammed down on top of him. His eye looked up, "Damn you fourth Hokage".Everything around Kurama went pitch black, the only visible thing was his one crimson eye with a black slit.
Real World
Naruto was confused but he pushed the dream to the back of his mind, he went to fall asleep. He ignored that dream, but something in his stomach told him to be worried. He didn't know what that was, but hopefully, it wouldn't happen again.
End of Flashback
Toshinori raised an eyebrow, "Bad dreams huh? Tell me more about them".
Next Day
Naruto came back from school and went into the backyard to start his training. He was sparring with clones to practice the Kame fighting style. Naruto wanted to forget his dream it bothered him to no end, and he had no idea how to cope with it. Soon Toshinori came walking up in his skinny form, "Young Naruto do you have a moment to speak? Toshinori asked.
Naruto stopped and dispelled his clones, and sat next to Toshinori, "What's up All Might?" Naruto looked up at him.
"Young Naruto Torino told me about last night, did you have a bad dream about your village?" Toshinori knew he could relate.
"W-What? I-I… yeah, I did… it wasn't just with the village. Momo was in it…". Naruto looked down to the side upset.
"I see, well you don't have to tell me what happened. I just want you to know that I have nightmares almost every night". Toshinori looked at Naruto with sincerity.
"W-What? Why?" Naruto asked confused.
Toshinori smiled, "Naruto my previous master was a woman named Nana. I looked up to her like my mother, I was quirkless just like you are. Except I didn't have your chakra thingy, I wanted to be a hero. Before you wanted to be Hokage that's how strong I believed in it. However, I was born quirkless. I did my hardest, I trained as hard as I could push myself. I was luckily able to run into Nana-Sensei. I proved to her that I was worthy to be her student and to inherit One For All. I wanted to be the number one hero and symbol of peace".
Naruto knew Toshinori was sensitive about his master, "Nana-sensei… was she like a mother to you?"
Toshinori nodded his head, "Believe it or not Young Naruto, not only was I quirkless. I was also an orphan; I had no idea who my parents were. I didn't let that bother me too much, I worked my way to the top and trained to be the best I could be. Young Naruto when my Sensei Nana faced off All For One for the last time. That was the last time I saw her… I miss her she was the only mother figure I had. I had bad dreams about her dying in front of me a lot".
Naruto nodded his head, "I-I see what you mean… ya know I've begun to look at Torino-Jiji like a Jiji. You've been there a lot All Might, you've been here sparring with me a lot. I've really begun to look up to you as almost a Tou-san. I know it sounds ridiculous, but every time after spars I feel like I begin to understand you more and more. Then we share a popsicle too, my previous master Jiraiya did that too". Naruto gave Toshinori a smile, "I appreciate you telling me that All Might… now I feel like I'm not the only one in the world now".
Toshinori smiled, "I'm glad we could talk Young Naruto, I hate seeing you down in the dumps. I know for a fact that Young Yaoyorozu likes you too".
"W-What!? N-No! No! I mean Momo is a nice girl, but me? No, I'm too much a knucklehead for that". Naruto chuckled rubbing the back of his head, "I'd be too much for anyways… I'd be a danger to her. At least I feel like I would be".
Toshinori shook his head, "Whatever you say Young Naruto, but if there is a chance. I wouldn't let it go to waste". Toshinori pulled Naruto to his feet, "Common let's go get some ramen, my treat!" Naruto shot up from his seat and happily walked with Toshinori to get ramen.
End of FlashBack
Time Skip to January Still During the School Year
Naruto was now thirteen years old as he was one school year away from graduating and going to U.A. Naruto. Naruto was at the beach that use to be cluttered with garbage and trash. All Might told Naruto that he had to clean up the beach whenever he wanted to. Naruto was asked by All Might to inherit his quirk One For All. Naruto didn't want to, he wanted to get into U.A with his own power. He didn't want to rely on a quirk to get it, yet he was still classified as a quirkless. Naruto watched from afar on how All Might acts, even now All Might still did his best to save everyone. Naruto respected him for that, right now standing before Naruto was All Might, "Are you sure All Might? I mean there is still a possibility that someone else is better".
All Might shook his head, "Naruto… your ideals… your will… your beliefs. You are supposed to be the successor to All For One. I have to ask that you take it, I'm running out of time I can't keep going. I know you can do it".
Naruto sighed as he closed his eyes, "I only wanted to do this because you saved me that day. You took me to Recovery Girl, you know of my past, you know who I am. You think me… of all people is worthy of One For All?"
"I don't think Young Naruto, I KNOW your worthy for One For All. Even I know I'm not worthy to have it anymore. You brought me back to the light, you made me realize that even if you don't have a quirk. You can still be a hero, Young Naruto you don't have a quirk. You were given a rough past, forced to house a nine-tailed fox inside of you. Your past, you endured so much, you grew strong because of that. You didn't let anyone tell you otherwise, you didn't let others stop you from being a ninja. You became a ninja even though you were dead last. You wanted to be Hokage… in a sense becoming Hokage is when you become a pro hero. Naruto in my eyes you're already a hero, you saved me from myself". All Might look at his hand, and back at Naruto. He pulled his hair out of his head, "To inherit One For All… eat this".
Naruto deadpanned, "Your kidding, right?"
"Like I said! It can only be transferred willingly and through the previous user's DNA!" Toshinori said quickly, "I know it's weird but it's the only way!"
Naruto laughed, "All Might… I swear with your power I will keep people I consider precious safe. People who I cherish will stay safe, that includes you… Torino… Nezu… the civilians… and even her". Naruto looked at the ocean as he saw the sunset before them.
Toshinori smiled, "Naruto its an honor, it truly makes me happy that you decided to accept this. It's a selfish request asking you to inherit it. I know you will make me and everyone else proud".
Naruto took the strand of hair and brought it to his lips. He opened his mouth and threw it into his mouth. He quickly swallowed it; Naruto knew this was a big responsibility. To be a true hero… this was just as if this was his dream to become a Hokage. This still meant he had to protect everyone, with this power, with his power, he will protect everyone.
Just then Naruto felt a sudden flame light up inside of him. Naruto felt his body accepting this power inside of him. Naruto opened his eyes to find his body radiating a red aura. Naruto felt the power within it was massive, he closed his eyes. He knew to control it just like he did with his chakra. The way how powerful the quirk was, Naruto decided to spread it throughout his body. The power could be built up to be one point, but just like chakra punch, he used on All Might. It blew up in his face. So, Naruto closed his eyes and let a breath out. He sent One For All through his entire body. He snapped his eye open, just then red, vein-like lines course throughout his body that coincides with the energy flowing through him. With the quirk active, his eye glows blue. Around Naruto's body sparks of flames began to surround her body. Naruto felt the quirk running throughout his entire body. Naruto said, "Full Cowl". Naruto felt the power spread evenly throughout his body.
Toshinori eyes widen in surprise, "N-Naruto? Did you just adapt to One For All already?"
Naruto felt the power in him and sighed, "No… I can only use about 10% in total. If I go further, I'll shatter everything in my body". Naruto looked up at Toshinori, "I still don't know why you wanted me to inherit the quirk, I still think someone else could have been better".
Toshinori put his hand on Naruto's head, "Young Naruto please understand, I couldn't keep continuing as All Might forever. I need you to inherit the quirk so it can carry on living in you. I want you to have it because of your ideals. Your personality is exactly who I was when I was your age. You were exactly like Nana-Sensei who was my master. Your a better person than I was if Nana-Sensei were to see me she be disappointed. I lost my light, I lost what it meant to be a true hero".
Naruto looked up at Toshinori surprised, "I-I don't know what to say, I mean… anyone back in my village could be a ninja. I know anyone could… I-I just know that with hard work anybody can defeat a genius. I've always been the dead last, I've always been the idiot. I just knew that working hard can go a long way".
Toshinori smiled, "That's why I wanted you to inherit One For All, you know to put in the work. I believe in you Young Naruto, the times we sparred this past year. The time we spent together, I know you're the right choice. Naruto you were not given power you inherited it, you made yourself worthy of One For All. That power is now yours and yours alone".
With Momo at the Same Time, Naruto was Inheriting One For All
Momo was in her house getting ready to go shopping with her mother. She had to get some new outfits for the next school year. Since it was their last, they would be taking the entrance exam. She had today off as she would get back to training with Naruto tomorrow. Momo's mother came walking in, "Kaa-san you ready to go?"
Momo's mother came walking in, "Let me guess you going to buy some lewd clothing to seduce Naruto?" Momo's mother giggled as Momo blushed.
"W-What!? Kaa-san! No! W-why would I! We're friends! We're not that". Momo's eyes darted to the side wondering how her heartfelt. She was beginning to like Naruto more and more, but she doesn't know it.
Momo's mother walked over to her closet and opened it, "Honey… I think you do in fact like naruto". She gestured with her hand to Momo's clothes some of them consisted of orange clothing. Naruto mainly some type of orange clothing on him, or Naruto had something with a fox on it. Momo's mother walked over to her underwear drawer, "This orange bra and panties don't mean anything?" Momo's mother gave her daughter a smug smirk.
Momo blushed, "I-I just like the color! I-Is that so wrong!?" Momo said angrily.
"That's the other thing your beginning to stutter like he does. You've been training with him every day after school. You've guys have hung out before, he carried you home on his back several times! Don't tell me you don't have a crush on him!" Momo's mother said annoyed that her daughter couldn't see it. Momo was blushing and not knowing what to say, she didn't realize it until her mother pulled her phone out. She went into it and pulled up her texts, "Look at this! Nine to eleven pm you guys were texting! You're telling me YOU DON'T LIKE HIM!"
Momo saw the texts and the photos she sends him. The photos he sends back to her, the memes they send one another. Their conversations the two had Momo couldn't believe her eyes, "I-I like Naruto". She mumbled as she felt her heart skip a beat. Her cheeks heated up as her mother noticed that she mumbles when talking about Naruto.
"What was that dear?" Momo's mother came closer to her with her hand to her ear.
Momo thought about it more and more, "I-I do like Naruto… I guess now that I really think about it".
"YOU LIKE HIM! HA!" Momo's mother cheered in victory, "Alright! Now all we need to get a plan!" Momo's mother pulls a whiteboard out of nowhere, "Momo make me a dry erase marker". Momo creates one and throws it to her mother. Momo's mother began to write as she created a to-do list. Then Naruto's name under the goal, "Momo! Its time to start operation make Naruto fall in love with you!"
"W-Wait! Kaa-san I think it's too". Momo was cut off as her mother slapped her across the face, "Hey! WHAT WAS!" Momo was cut off again by another slap.
"Shut up and listen! I am not doing what I did for your Tou-san. I waited for too damn long before he proposed to me! It took too long for him to confess to me! You're going to first! Take him on more dates or hang out with him! Be as strong as you can be! Naruto clearly sees you as a rival and a strong person! You need to tease him more! You need to wear sexier clothes! You need to make your boobs bigger! I'll show you the secret to do so!" Momo's mother was writing all over the whiteboard, "Once you finally start dating you're going to be at first base! Touching and kissing! The second base will be more handsy and even oral sex! The third base you get his long john shoved inside of you!" Momo's mother drew explicit scenes on the whiteboard with Momo wearing a domination outfit.
"KAA-SAN! I'M DON'T LIKE DOMINATION LIKE YOU ARE!" Momo was blushing up a storm, "Kaa-san! I don't want to go so quickly! Your planning too far ahead!"
"Then next is grandchildren". Momo's mother ignored Momo's complaints as she drew Naruto and Momo screwing. Then Momo being pregnant then them having children. Momo's mother turned around proud of her work, "See Momo! This is how you will get your man! Get his dick inside you and make me some children!" She capped the marker as Momo was passed out on the bed with her soul trying to leave her body.
"Shuri? Honey where are…". Momo's husband stared at the whiteboard he saw a blonde boy with whiskers screwing his daughter. Even if it was a drawing it was explicit, and way more than he could handle. He fell to the floor out cold.
"Sairaorg? Honey? Anata? Oh well!" Shuri left whiteboard in Momo's room, she tucked Momo in and dragged her husband to their room. Shuri had an evil smirk on her face as went and grabbed her domination gear. (A/N: We don't know who Momo's parents are. So I used Shuri Himejima and Sairaorg Bael from DxD).
Hour Later
Momo woke up in bed she saw that her mother was gone, but the drawing of her plans were still there. Momo couldn't help but blush, she walked over to the drawing of her and Naruto. Then she traced them over his face. She moved her finger and dragged it until she saw her and Naruto with kids. Momo blushed at the thought, "I-I… I like Naruto…". Momo said this to herself as she felt her beat faster, "I-I have a crush on Uzumaki Naruto".
Then she heard screaming from her father. There was squeaking on the bed, the scary part is that they are on the opposite side of the mansion. Momo had a shiver run down her back thinking about her parent's extra activities. Then Momo realized that she would end up doing it with Naruto, she shook her head. She quickly ignored the noises coming from her parents' room. Also, ignoring the cries of help from her father.
Mall
Momo was making her way to the store as she ran into some of her friends from class, "Oh my god Yaoyorozu!" Momo's classmates came running up, "Where have you been! You haven't hung out with us in a long time!"
Momo chuckled, "I'm sorry it's just that I've been really busy. I've been training to prepare for when I go to U.A". Momo scratched her cheek as she thought about what outfits she should get.
Soon her and her friends made to the mall while they were shopping. Momo looked around and found some purple dresses and outfits here and there. She found some blue outfits too that caught her eye, "Hey this blue is such a cute color! The design is cute and oh! This blue is like Naruto's eyes… oh…". Momo began to really realize that everything she bought. It was similar to Naruto's appearance. Either it was his sky-blue eyes, his blonde hair, or his love of orange.
Then an outfit in the distance caught her eye. She quickly ran over and saw it on the manikin. The outfit resembled a short Kimono that was cut just past the hips. At the bottom, it was black, about the belly button area was a trip of black as well. There was a broken line patter of the Kimono that went up to the middle of the chest. The same pattern was around the short sleeves of the arms. It came with short black shorts for underneath, long black leggings that came up to mid-thigh. Then a red circle with a black spiral going in. She quickly grabbed the outfit and ran into the changing room. She slipped the outfit on, once she walked out, she looked at herself in the mirror, "I think this is so cute! I wonder if Naruto… would like it". Momo's mind wandered to Naruto. (A/N: If you want to try to find the picture. Go into Google images and type in Naruko. Find the Naruko with .com by the picture that's the outfit Momo Bought).
"Oh my god, Yaoyorozu that outfit is so cute! I didn't know you liked the color orange!" One of her friends said surprised.
Mom smiled, "Yeah I thought it was pretty cute myself". Momo went back in and changed into her original daily clothes. Which consisted of a white shirt that had a design pattern on the neck. Her shirt was tucked into a black skirt with a belt. She had black capris with knee-length boots. Momo went and bought the outfit along with some others.
Momo and her friends went to grab lunch together, they sat down to eat as Momo ordered ramen, "Hey doesn't that guy Naruto you hang around with all-time like ramen?" A friend of hers pointed out.
Momo didn't think about that, "Oh… well yeah I know he loves ramen. He probably loves ramen more than actually wanting to be a hero". Momo chuckled along with the other girls.
"Wait do you like him Yaoyorozu? I mean I wouldn't be surprised! I think you two would be a cute couple!" A friend of hers asked.
Momo had a small smiled and blushed putting her hand up to her lower jaw, "I-I kinda like him, I mean he is really strong and gentle. I-I don't know if he feels the same". Momo finally said it… it felt good though. To say that she liked Naruto it made her heart flutter and beat faster. She felt butterflies in her stomach.
"Aww, that nice! You know what if I tried to get him before you?" Some of her friends giggled as a joke.
Momo quickly replied, "No way! Ugh! Uhhh I-I mean please could you not". Momo blushed, she realized that she has it pretty bad. She isn't even dating him, and she is trying to keep other girls away.
Her friend began to laugh, "You know Yaoyorozu we knew you liked him, but I think you got it bad! You got the hots for him!"
Momo sighed, "Yeah… I'm pretty sure your right". Momo smiled wondering what Naruto was doing today.
Week Later
"Hey Momo Jiji and Roshi, said that we have Friday off. You want to hang out or anything?" Naruto sent the text to Momo.
Momo got the text and blushed at the idea, "Okay sure, where do you want to meet up?"
"Let's meet up at the school entrance, maybe we can go to the zoo". Naruto sent the text.
"Yeah let's go! I can't wait!" Momo smiled happily.
Next Day
The two met up at the meeting school entrance, "Hey I hope I didn't keep you waiting". Momo came walking up wearing a blue shirt with design on the collar of her shirt. She had on a black skirt with leggings and knee-length boots.
Naruto turned his head to see Momo, "Not at all let's get going". Naruto was wearing a black shirt; he had a jacket that was black and orange. He had on pair of black jeans as well.
The two make their way to the Zoo and begin to look around. The went to look at the different animals. Lions, tigers, giraffes, frogs, toads, and more. Momo was especially happy to see her favorite animals which were dolphins. Momo was able to walk up as one of the dolphins rose out of the water to get a look at her. Momo was able to reach out and touch its mouth. Naruto enjoyed watching Momo interact with the animal, "Look Naruto! He is so cute!"
Naruto walked over putting his hand on the dolphin's nose. The dolphin dove underwater, Momo lost balance and almost fell in. Though Naruto stopped her by his putting his hand on her stomach stopping her from falling in, "You alright?" Naruto asked looking at Momo.
Momo blushed with his hand on her stomach. Its mere inches from her chest, "Y-Yeah I'm fine, thank you for catching me. If I'd fallen in I". Momo eyes wandered to the water
Naruto realized, "Momo don't tell me you can't". Momo placed her finger on his lip.
"W-What was that?" She glared at Naruto.
"I said are you not able to". Naruto was cut off again as Momo's finger pushed against his lips harder.
Momo and Naruto laughed as they continued on to their date. They went to get some food and eat. The Zoo they were at made some American food which Momo wanted Naruto to try out, "A burger?" Naruto said confused, "Doesn't sound as good as ramen".
"Oh, you and your ramen! Just try it! You'll like it!" Momo pleaded for the ramen lover to try something else.
"F-Fine". Naruto picked the burger up and took a bite. He stopped chewing as Momo's excited smile hoped he liked it, "W-Wow this is actually really good".
"See! I tried this in America! I knew in certain places in Japan they had burgers! You really need to try other foods than just Ramen!" Momo ate her burger happily.
The two soon finished up and made their way to the rainforest area. They looked around at the animals there were frogs, snakes, parrots, bats, bugs, etc. Momo saw the animals in amazement and still thought it was pretty cool. She hasn't been to the Zoo much, she has been to Safari. They made their way to the desert area and Momo saw camels. She backed up a bit nervously as Naruto looked at her, "Momo are you".
"Uzumaki Naruto you keep talking I swear I'll deck you so hard. I'll make you regret being born!" Momo spoke annoyed with an embarrassed blush on her face.
The two continue on to Antarctica area as Momo saw the cute penguins, "Oh hey look those are pretty cute". Naruto smiled, "What are they?"
"Oh! They're penguins! They're so cute! I want one! I wonder if Tou-san will buy me one!" Momo began to tap on the window to get the staff's attention.
"Uhh, Momo I don't think you can get one". Naruto had a sweat drop appear on his forehead.
"B-But I want one… they're so cute!" Momo said with a pout on her face.
"Rich Girl". Naruto muttered.
"Hey! I take offense to that!" Momo shot back.
"Blah, blah, blah, I'm Momo I'm rich". Naruto imitated Momo's voice.
"HEY! I DO NOT SOUND LIKE THAT!" Momo said angrily.
Naruto laughed, "Common Momo you're making a scene". Naruto chuckled as he began to walk off.
Momo looked around seeing others looking at her weirdly, "Damn myself being a Yaoyorozu spoiled kid!" She hurriedly ran over to Naruto to continue walking.
The two continued on with their hangout going to visit more animals. Before they realized it was 6:00 pm and the two left to grab dinner. Then Naruto walked her home, "Naruto I enjoyed today, thanks I had fun".
"I'm glad you had fun Momo, I hope we can hang out again like this". Naruto smiled happily giving her a foxy grin.
Momo giggled, "I hope so too". Momo brought Naruto into a hug surprising the blonde, "Have a good night". She slowly back away waving goodbye to him. Naruto began to walk back home with a smile on his face and a skip in his step.
Time Skip End of their Final School Year (June)
It was the end of their school year where everyone was got to graduate and continue on to high school. That will depend if they go to become a hero or not. Naruto and Momo were leaving school ready for the entrance exam that was going to happen on August 15th and U.A classes start the 25th of August, "Hey Momo you finally ready to continue on to U.A?"
Momo looked at Naruto, "Yeah I can't wait, we'll get there together! I know we can do it!"
"Mom there is one thing I want to tell you. Probably something I should have told you a while ago. Jiji-san told me that it was alright to tell you. You and I have been friends for two years now". Naruto looked at Momo with a grin on his face. "I am sick of some of the lies I've had to keep within myself. I won't lie there are more, but right now they weren't important. I didn't think I would end up being friends with anyone".
Momo wondered if he was finally going to confess to her, "Naruto we have our own secrets and demons. I wouldn't force you to reveal everything to me".
Naruto smiled back happily, "Thanks Momo, but you should know that my Jiji-san is actually Gran Torino".
Momo stared at Naruto with a blank stare, "… What?" She stared at Naruto dumbly.
"I am comfortable enough with you to tell you that he is Gran Torino". Naruto looked at Momo with sincerity, "Like I said I'm okay with you knowing this, you've been a supportive friend I trust you".
Momo was a bit shocked by the news, "Oh wow that's a lot but that's manageable. Thanks for telling me! Don't worry I like him a lot too! Your Jiji is a really nice guy, I promise to keep that secret for you".
Naruto smiled, "Thanks Momo you're a good friend, though this also leads to another issue".
"What's that?" Momo tilted her head confused.
"My Jiji wants to make sure I'm fully prepared for the Entrance Exam. I'm going overseas to do more training". Naruto looked at the ground, "I'll be going in a few days, but I won't be able to see you during the summer".
Momo frowned, but smiled, "You better get stronger, because I know I will!"
Naruto's frowned turned to a smirk, "Please I'd never let you get stronger than me, you've never won a fight against me".
Momo smirked, "Actually I have beaten you before a few times".
Naruto grit his teeth, "That was because you threatened to destroy my stash of ramen!" Naruto argued back.
Momo chuckled, "Point proven, but I'm still considering a win".
Naruto sighed, he could never argue with her and win, "Yeah, yeah I know I could never win an argument with you".
Momo chuckled she was mentally saying, "Ask him... ask him! Ask him!" Momo really wanted to ask Naruto if she liked her. She was scared that he wouldn't say anything, "H-Hey Naruto I want to know something".
Naruto turned to her, "Yeah what's up Momo?" Naruto looked at Momo as she as fidgeting and looking nervous.
Momo had to know, "Naruto I've always wondered out of the girls in our classes is there anyone you've really liked?"
"Oh? Really liked? Of them, no not really, I didn't feel like any type of connection with them". Naruto scratched his cheek at the question, "Though I mean I do like you". Naruto gave her a foxy grin.
"No, I mean do you". Momo was cut short when her parents came pulling up in their limo. Momo sighed she told Naruto that she was visiting family over in America for a while, "Naruto you have a good summer okay? I'll make sure to keep up with my training! Make sure to text!" Momo planted a kiss on his cheek. She blushed turning away quickly and hopped into her car. She rolled the window down waving goodbye to him.
Naruto stood there as he felt the kiss on his cheek, he moved his hand up to his cheek. Torino smirked walking up, "Do you understand yet? That girl has been head over heels for you for a while now. Why don't you accept her feelings?" Torino was confused about why Naruto hasn't made a move.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "I was afraid of this though". Naruto was a little more upset than anything.
Torino raised an eyebrow, "Your scared, aren't you? Is it because of what's inside of you?"
Naruto nodded his head, "Yeah… let's go Jiji". Naruto turned around and began to walk back to their house. He felt a buzz on his phone as he saw the text from Momo, "Have a good summer training!" Momo sent him a heart emoji with it.
Time Skip Month into Summer Vacation
Naruto has been texting Momo as they naturally do. Naruto would train the entire day with Torino, Roshi, and All Might. Naruto was learning to harness the power of All For One. Naruto has also begun to train in his own to time control the power of the Kyuubi. So far that has been for naught. There are just too many negative emotions and the chakra is so dense and heavy. It was after a long day of training that Naruto sat in his room tired. He laid on his bed as he received a text from Momo. She was over by Mt. Rushmore, she pretended that her face was carved into the mountain. Naruto texted, "That's so cool! Think you could have been president?"
He got a text back, "Well technically I was the president of the Student Council in Kuoh". Momo replied.
"Yeah, to think that we're going to be taking the U.A entrance exam. I've been training like crazy, now I got my control on my quirk better". Naruto kinda frowned when he texted her. Technically he has a quirk now that he had One For all.
"Just you watch! I haven't been slacking either! I've been doing a lot of training too ya know! When I get back, I'll definitely kick your ass!" Momo replied with a smirk on her face.
"Yeah right! You will just have to watch how strong I've become Dattebayo!" Naruto used his usual verb tic as he always does.
Momo sat there with her phone in her hand, "So uhh Naruto I want to talk about before I left to go on my trip… when I kissed you on your cheek".
Naruto read the text as he swallowed hard. Naruto typed in, "I-I don't know Momo, you're literally my best friend. I cherish you a lot, I'm not saying your weak or anything. I-I just don't know if I can handle you being my girlfriend… it isn't you. It's me, I'm just worried". Naruto stared at the text as he hit the delete button and held it as the words disappeared. Naruto looked at the ceiling, he thought about what he could say. Naruto looked at his phone once again not knowing what to say.
Momo on her end was sweating a little bit. She was hoping for this, she waited a month before asking him this again. She was hoping he returned her feelings. She really enjoyed being around the blonde whiskered boy. Soon she saw the text she was waiting for come in, "Momo you're a great girl, I really enjoy having you as a friend. I-I'm just not too sure about my feelings Momo. There are feelings I need to manage before I can decide on how I feel". Momo read the text as she felt distraught and upset. Momo took her phone and texted back, "Okay that's alright Naruto, I'm your friend if you ever need to talk. Please text me or call me, I want to help you".
Naruto read the text and sighed, "That's what I'm afraid of". Naruto stared at his stomach, he thought about Konoha once again. Naruto replied, "Yeah I'll let you know if I do, good night Momo I'm beat". He sent it and laid his phone down and went to sleep.
With Momo
She sat at the breakfast table upset looking down at her phone. Shuri walked over, "Momo dear what's wrong?"
"I-It's Naruto there is something stopping him, I-I think he likes me. There is something stopping him though, he won't tell me. I've been his friend for two years now… what could he possibly not be able to tell me". Momo looks down dejected.
Shuri smiled, "You know what Momo, keep supporting him. When you see him take charge and tell him how you feel. You need to tell him that whatever pain he is holding within himself. Your willing to be there for him".
Momo smiled, "Thanks Kaa-san, I'll do that I just hope Naruto doesn't push me away. I want to be there for him. He helped me realize that I want to be a hero, but not just that. I want to be a hero who protects others, I want to show my strength I trained for".
Shuri smiled, "I know you will Momo, you're my little girl. Like us, Yaoyorozu say, if you can't get it you buy it!" Shuri giggled as Momo chuckled along with her mother.
Time Skip Couple Months Later
Naruto hasn't been talking about Momo to Torino or Toshinori. They've grown concerned for Naruto's wellbeing. They let him be since it was his business and his friend, but he hasn't said anything new about her. He would reply with an either, 'She fine' or 'Nothing much'. They grew concerned because Torino told Toshinori that Naruto was having a hard time letting someone into his heart.
Toshinori walked over to Naruto's training spot as he was sparring with his clones again. He was using One For All Full Cowl 20% with his clones, "Young Naruto can we talk for a moment?"
Naruto stopped and took a breather as he stopped and dispelled his clones, "Yeah what's up All Might?"
"Come sit my boy, we need to talk". Toshinori sat down looking at the sunset, Naruto walked over and sat next to him.
"What is it?" He asked again as Toshinori sighed.
"Young Naruto you need to stop being scared if Momo is a great of a friend you say she is. Then tell her… tell her about your abilities, tell her about your past. Who you are, what you have inside of you", Toshinori said bluntly.
Naruto frowned, "N-No I can't do that if I do that she'll leave. Dealing with a guy like me? I want this to be a clean slate. I have a chance to live a happy life!"
"What? Live your life as a lie? Telling her your someone whom you're not? Lying to yourself when it comes to love is going to hurt you. It will hurt Momo more than it would hurt you, it means she been in love with a fake you. Not the real you". Toshinori explained, "Kid, heroes like you would love to find love. In our line of work, it's hard, it's never easy to find love. You need someone to love you for whom you are. Young Naruto understands that Momo is the one you're looking for".
Naruto tightened his fist, "N-No I can't tell her that… if she learns who I am then".
"WHO CARES IF SHE FINDS ABOUT WHO YOU ARE!" Toshinori roared finally fed up trying to make Naruto open his eyes. Naruto flinched at Toshinori raising his voice, "Naruto! Understand! We keep trying to tell you! If she is your friend! IS SHE YOUR FRIEND! TELL ME!"
Naruto thought about the memories he made with her. The training they've done together. The studying sessions together, the times they did hang out. She was a friend, no, not just a friend. She was his best friend he could ever ask for. Better than Sasuke, better than Sakura, better than the other he had in the leaf. Naruto bit his lip, "Y-Yea she is my best friend, I care about her a lot".
Toshinori finally sighed, "If she is your fiend Naruto, then she will accept you for whom you truly are. If she can't then she never was your friend, to begin with".
Naruto stood up quickly, "B-But what about the Nine-Tails! H-How will she take it is she hears about that! I mean I-I've caused so many to suffer".
Toshinori slapped Naruto across the face, "Naruto stop it! You did not kill people! You told us the fox attacked people and was then sealed into you! You didn't ask for this! You didn't ask for that thing to be sealed into you".
Naruto held his face as he listened, "I know… still, those memories still haunt me to this day. Hell, she doesn't even know when my birthday is".
Toshinori shook his head, "Young Naruto stop running away from yourself. Your Uzumaki Naruto, a strong and powerful kid before he was given One For All. Naruto tell me this if I could believe in you and give you One For All. Why can't your trust and believe in me when I tell you these things about Young Yaoyorozu?"
Naruto's eyes widen, "I-I don't know… you got a point". Naruto clutched his hands and thought about Momo, "Dammit I can't tell you how much I've cared about her. All Might… thank you. You know I've always looked up to you as my Sensei and Torino as my Jiji. All Might you mean more to me now, thank you you're more of a Tou-san than anything. Thank you". Naruto quickly gave All Might a hug.
All Might felt his heart skip a beat being called Tou-san. It was a new one for even him, but it felt good. He felt happy about it, it felt like he did his master good. How she took him in and treated him like her own son. Now, he was doing the same for Young Naruto. Toshinori looked up at the night sky, "Nana-sensei… I'm training your grandson with the help of Gran Torino. To think… you'd end up being an Obaa-chan".
Naruto felt good about what All Might told him. Naruto was still scared, but All Might was right. Naruto kept running away, believe it or not, he has been running away from himself. He kept seeing this as a new clean slate for him. That he could forget about his past and move forward and live. He didn't have to forget about it, but he could remember the past and learn from it. One thing for sure was to set things straight with Momo. Naruto grabbed his phone and texted Momo, "Momo, when you return, we have a lot to talk about. No more lying, we've been friends for two years going on three years". Naruto smiled as he couldn't wait for Momo to come back.
Momo woke up from her slumber to feel a buzz from her phone. She saw she received a text from Naruto. She opened her phone and smiled reading it, she felt her heart flutter. She also looked at the clock as it was 5:00 am! "DAMMIT NOW, I'M WIDE AWAKE!" Momo complained for a moment, but she was happy. Whatever it was, she was ready. Whatever Naruto wanted to tell her about she was ready. She just hoped that he could return his feelings.
Time Skip Entrance Exam
Naruto was walking towards the U.A high school, he was wearing his Anbu outfit. This was his lighter version since he wasn't wearing the weighted version. He had his fox mask on the side of his head. He was standing at 5'10 at age 15 years old. He let out a breath looking up at the U.A academy. He smiled, to think that he came from Konoha just to come here to take an exam to be a hero, "I hope your watching… Kaa-san… Tou-san… wherever you are". Naruto muttered.
"NO way! Naruto! Is that you!" A voice came from a girl as she ran up to Naruto.
Naruto turned his head to see Momo in her hero uniform like he was. He realized that she has gotten a bit taller and she seems ever more mature physically, "M-Momo!? You were only gone a summer! You've changed so much!"
Momo blushed at the compliment as she walked over, "Looks who's talking, Naruto… I know it's been only one summer, but you've grown taller than me!" Momo puffed her cheeks out, Momo was only 5'8.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "Hehe yeah I really hit a growth spurt while you were away, besides that it's great to see you again Momo". Naruto scratched his cheek.
Momo smiled, "So how have you been this entire summer, ya know I've really missed you". Momo had her arms behind her back with her hands fidgeting.
Naruto knew it was time, he smiled and brought her into a hug. Momo was taken back by the hug but returned it, "I've missed you too Momo, I've had a lot of complications. I've had a lot happen in my life. I promise that once these exams are over, I'll tell you everything. For right now I think I owe you something".
Momo raised an eyebrow, "What could that possibly". Momo was cut off as a pair of lips were attached to hers. Momo's eyes widen to find the blonde lips touching hers. Momo slowly closed her eyes to accept the kiss and pulling Naruto in closer.
Naruto held her close as he slowly parted their lips, "Momo I". Naruto was cut off as Momo pushed her lips against his once again. The two embraced one another as the kissed, Naruto loved the feeling of her lips on his. Momo was going to be dammed if she let him go again. She was going to make sure she got the kissing she wanted. She has been dreaming about this for a while now, it just came to fruition now. She was to be damned if he ended it too quickly.
Once they separated for air Momo spoke, "Naruto whatever it is you need to tell me I can handle it. I love you; I've loved you since we we're in Kuoh. It had to be about a year or so that we've known one another".
Naruto smiled, "I won't lie I've loved you before that. I've never known what love was Momo, knowing what love was the hardest for me to understand and find".
"W-What? Love what do you mean?" Momo said confused.
Naruto smiled, "When we first met Momo, I told you that I had a father and a mother. I only knew my father. I'm sorry Momo, but that was a lie, my parents died the night I was born". Naruto had a small smile on his face. "I didn't know you that well at the time. I had a hard time telling you as we got to know one another later. It's not that simple, I". Naruto cut off as Momo put her finger on his lip.
She shook her head, "Let's wait until after the exam, and". She punched him across the arm, "YOU IDIOT! I can't believe you waited this long!" Momo said angrily.
"Hey! Saying that wasn't easy ya know, I mean it ties into". Naruto cut off again as a pair of lips met his once again. Once Momo back up Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "I-I could get used to that".
Momo giggled, "Common let's get to exam boyfriend". Momo winked with a sultry smile as Naruto felt a shiver go down his back.
"Yeah… right with ya". Naruto ran up next to Momo as she grabbed his hand. The two walked into the Entrance exam together.
A/N: Alright! Now that, that is settled they have not been tied. I want to make this as smooth as possible. If Naruto knew Momo before they actually got into U.A makes sense. Now don't think of their relationship happening in two chapters. Their relationship has actually been developing for over two years! Almost three! Now their relationship will be hitting a new height. Now, Naruto I don't think I will tell Momo how he really feels. She will learn about everything. Though she will not lean of Naruto's fear, his worse fear is losing control of Kurama and hurting Momo. Right now, if you guys recognized it, Kurama's potent chakra is beginning to eat away at the seal. This is because Kurama has all his chakra. I think this version of the seal wouldn't be able to handle all of Kurama's power. I think only Kushina and Mito could handle the full chakra because they were full-blooded Uzumaki. Mito was a god with seals, so I think it would be safe to assume that the seal Minato produced wouldn't on that level. Naruto has not realized it either!
