AN: I do not own MHA.
This one was a bit tricky for me.
(?)
Izuku Midoriya was freaking out. Why? Because he was lost in a random barely lit town at eight o'clock at night, last time he checked, and he had only an hour to get back to the dorms before Aizawa's curfew set in. And there was the fact that he lost his cell phone. And so did his traveling companion.
"Midori, calm down! I can hear your panic from hear!" she shouted.
"Ashido! We have to make it back to U.A. soon!" He told her, as she walked beside him.
"Maybe we should ask someone?" she suggested.
Izuku glanced over the nearby people. The street had almost no one on it, besides a few rough-looking goons and some already drunk patrons of sleazy places here. "That's not a good idea."
"Oh come on! These guys aren't that bad!" Mina said, pointing one finger at one random drunk that tripped over a paper brown bag, somehow.
Izuku gave her a flat look. "I'm sure he would point us to the nearest bar."
"Oh! We should grab a drink!" Mina said, giggling.
"Ashido, no."
"Ashido yes!" Izuku just shook his head as he looked for some recognizable landmark, failing at the task.
'How did we end up here?' Izuku thought as the two kept walking. 'Oh yeah, Ashido and I were assigned to get groceries for the class. On our walk to the store, some villains attacked nearby and we got hit by a beam attack that teleported us over here.'
"And we were just random passersby! What if that attack did a lot of damage? Those heroes would have been in a lot of trouble," Mina added to Izuku's mumbles, the male not knowing he had spoken out loud again.
"Ashido, don't be so hard on them. I believe they are still rookies," Izuku told the girl.
"Rookie Smookie! We would have done better than those bozos!" the pink-skinned girl declared, "Midori, I see people!"
"Regular people at that!" She pointed further down the street, where various young adults walked.
"Maybe we can finally get some directions," Izuku said hopefully, crossing his fingers.
Mina grabbed his hand. "Come on slowpoke!"
"Ashido!" The acid maker laughed as she pulled Izuku down the street, narrowly avoiding a random couple.
They came to a stop to take in the sights. Everything was so brightly light compared to the last area they were in. People were strolling up and down the streets, passing by numerous filled to the brim eateries. There were big and very noticeable signs to other buildings with people in line outside the door, waiting to get in.
Everyone around them seemed to be under thirty, besides a few slightly older men. They walked a little more around, hearing blasting music coming from some of the buildings with big neon signs. So enraptured by the sights, Mina and Izuku forget to ask anyone where they were. Nor did they notice the man walking up behind them.
"Izuku, what are you doing out here?" a familiar voice asked.
Izuku spun around to see a tall lean man with black fluffy hair. "Dad?"
Mina looked at the man. 'Wow, Midori is like a carbon copy of his father, besides having green hair, being shorter and more muscular.'
"Hello son," Hisashi said, "You still need to answer my question."
The son gave his father a recount of what had happened in the last hour or two. "Strange things always happen to you, son."
"Wait, what are you doing here, Dad?" Izuku asked, "This place is filled with uh..."
"Partying and clubbing!" Mina added, smiling at the son.
"Yeah that," Izuku chuckled, "Oh! Dad, this Mina Ashido. Ashido, dad."
"Celebration for a deal we settled with this other company," Hisashi gave the pink girl a warm smile. "I was wondering when you were going to let me meet your girlfriend. Your mom tells me how you won't ever stop talking about her when you're not gushing over heroes or practical exercises."
Izuku was blushing madly, unable to talk coherently. Mina just gave the father a confused stare. "I know Midori is single, but I think you have me confused with Uraraka."
Hisashi shook his head. "No, I got the right person. I know only one person with both pink hair and skin at U.A. And you're the only girl he adds the honorific chan to their name."
A small amount of lilac appeared on her face as Izuku got in between them, waving his arms frantically. "D-dad, we need to get back to s-school. We're going to be late and Aizawa-sensei is going to punish us!"
"Wait, why didn't you ever call anyone?" Hisashi asked.
"We lost our phones when we teleported," Mina answered, Izuku nodding in agreement.
"Sounds legit. I'll drive you back to school in the company car," Hisashi told the two, "Let me call one of your teachers real quick. I got All Might on speed dial!"
"What? When?" Izuku asked frantically.
Hisashi raised an eyebrow at this. "He's the one who usually calls me or your mother when you get injured. Something about how it's his sole responsibility to inform us, even though U.A. has a licensed doctor. Recovery Girl does call us afterward."
Mina eyed Izuku suspiciously. "If I didn't meet your dad right now, I would totally believe Todoroki's crack theory on All Might being your dad."
Hisashi laughed at this as Izuku tried to get Mina to be quiet. "With how strangely similar their quirks are at times, that one is still a big leap of faith. Even for me!"
Hisashi then whipped out his phone, conversing with All Might. The two youngins looked on as people walked right past them.
"Midori, you got to tell me if you're like All Might's secret apprentice," Mina whispered to the boy, who froze in fear, "It would make sense. You got this quirk with the potential to match his, but you got that bone-breaking backlash. It would kind of make sense that he spends a lot of time with you at school if you were his apprentice. And that would explain the whole hater boner Todoroki used to have for you?"
"What?"
Mina pinched his cheek. "Don't worry about it silly. I will tell all the girls about this little juicy morsel I got out of you today!"
"Ashido!" Izuku said, the pink-skinned girl booping him on the nose.
"Nope! Call me what you call me around your mom!" Mina ordered.
"You two kids ready?" Hisashi asked, saving his son from further possible torture.
Izuku nodded shakily, his father leading the way. Mina lopped her arm into Izuku's as they began to walk again.
"I don't want to get lost," was what she said when Izuku looked at her questioningly as he turned bright red. Hisashi held in his snickers as the trio walked to the car.
"Hey, Dad, where are we?" Izuku asked, opening the door for Mina. He froze when she pecked on him the cheek.
"Tokyo son," Hisashi said, snapping Izuku out his frozen state.
"Okay you two, keep your hands to yourself," the father said, as everyone was in the car now. He looked back to see both Mina and Izuku had fallen asleep. Mina was cuddled up to Izuku, hugging his arm and her head in his chest. Izuku's head was resting on hers.
Hisashi pulled out his phone and snapped a picture. He sent to his wife, who responded about her baby boy growing up too fast. "They do grow up fast, don't they?"
