Bakugou and Yaoyorozu became close after the kidnapping incident. He started acknowledging her more; he would even greet her every now and then. One time, he spotted her walking back to their dorm alone.

'Oi. Ponytail.'

Yaoyorozu cocked her head slightly, looking back at the boy who called out to her. 'Oh, hello Bakugou.' she smiled. Why is she always fucking smiling like that? 'What's up?' 'You walking back to the dorm?' he asked. 'Ah, yes.' she flushed. 'Are you heading home too? We can walk together.'

They've been living at the dormitory for a few days now; guess that place's his home now.

He thought the walk to their dorm would be a bit awkward, yet he felt unusually at ease in her presence. He wasn't the best when it comes to small talk. No, fuck that, he hates small talk. But with Momo, it wasn't that bad. He can't put his finger on it, but there was something about her that makes him feel… serene.

'So…' she trailed off. 'It's the weekend. You have any plans?'

'Dunno. Sleep the whole fucking day?' he grumbled. His fingers fiddled on the coins in his pockets. 'Maybe watch some dumb movie I've putting off for awhile. Already got the copy on my flash drive.' 'Oh, sounds nice.' There was dead air for a minute. She's trying hard to hold a conversation, dickhead. Ask her something. 'You?' 'Study some math, I guess.' He stopped in his tracks, raising a brow at her. 'It's the weekend and your plan is to study for fucking math? How dull are you?' 'W-Well, I have nothing else to do anyway.' He studied her face for a bit. 'Watch the movie with me later. I'll knock on your door.' he blurted out. The fuck did I just do?! He felt butterflies in his stomach, warmth rapidly stretched across his face. He proceeded to walk before Momo sees redness building up in his cheeks. 'O-okay.'

"I should be with you, Katsuki."

The words were ringing on his head. He was lost for words. His chest tightened, his mouth ran dry.

"What the fuck are you saying, Momo?"

"We should get out of here."

"I don't wanna fucking hear that."

"You and me, right now. We'll…"

"Stop, Momo."

"We'll start a new life. W-We'll move, where nobody knows about us. We can get new jobs and—"

"Momo, you're just scared."

"We'll build a home and start a family…"

"Stop. FUCKING STOP!"

Bakugou yelled. He walked closer to Momo and placed his hands on her shoulder. "Stop, Momo." He gazed at her face, eyes still watery, her breathing heavy. I wanna fucking believe you meant all those things. "Stop. You're just scared." "I-I'm not." "I am not your future. You're in love with Todoroki." That last bit stung in his chest like a bitch.

She stared right into his red fiery eyes. "T-Tell me you don't love me." "W-What… Momo, what are y—" "Tell me you don't love me anymore, Katsuki." He froze. He wanted to say no because even though he hates Todoroki with his whole being, he still has respect for the guy. He was also able to tolerate him now that Todoroki joins in on their weekly hangouts. Still can't consider the guy as his friend, though. And aside from those, he doesn't want to fuck up a relationship. He's an asshole but he has principles.

On the other hand, it's fucking Momo Yaoyorozu. Say something, idiot.

"Why did you react that way?" She scowled, shrugging off his hands on her shoulders. "That day, when I gave you the invitation. Why did you react that way? Why did you ask me if I'm happy?"

Before he could even respond, he caught a spark outside the window on the corner of his eye. He noticed it getting bigger by the second, as if it was getting closer, falling from the sky. "What the fu—"

And before he knew it, everything was white.

It was past 9 in the evening when he knocked on Momo's door. He was supposed to come over sooner but he still heard noises from the other rooms. I'll wait 'til everyone's fucking settled. I don't want some idiot snooping around thinking this is some kind of movie date or something. He mentally punches himself for having that thought. Not that I'd ask Ponytail on a date! Why would I even ask her out?! I don't even like her yet to do that. Wait. Yet?! What the fuck?! Why am I like this?!

His stomach tied in knots when he heard footsteps coming closer to the door.

'Good evening, Bakugou.' He knew that big bright smile will be plastered on her face, and he already expected it, but it still caught him off guard. Her hair was down and she was wearing a set of comfy PJs with pink stripes on them. She's not wearing her ponytail. Holy shit she's cuter with her hair down. Cuter?! Wait?! Do I think she's fucking cute now?! The fuck's wrong with me?! He stood there for a minute before he responded. 'Evening… Yaoyorozu.' She noticed him glaring at her hair. 'Oh, you can't call me Ponytail now, huh?' she giggled. 'Momo. You can call me Momo.' He felt his cheeks warming. 'Whatever. Let's go downstairs. Hope you're not a scaredy cat. We're gonna watch this horror flick on a huge ass TV.'

They went straight to the common room area, empty at that hour of the night. She sat at the far left end of the sofa, her back resting on the arm cushions. Bakugou prepared the movie, grabbing the remote from the table beside the sofa. He propped on the opposite side across her, sprawling his legs beside hers. The movie began playing - a horror movie about a cult and some ugly ass looking doll. They sat in silence as the movie played.

Bakugou tried to focus on the movie, but he caught himself glancing at her from time to time. He noticed her feel her head several times. It was when she winced when he finally spoke up. 'How's your head? Why the fuck did you even take on that ugly ass Nomu? That was very idiotic of you.' She frowned as she ran her fingers across the back of her head again. 'It's still sore, I think.' Bakugou crawled forward and reached for the back of her head, feeling her stitches beneath her hair. 'Yeah, it's sore alright. You need to ice that. Wait here.' He pushed himself up, Momo suddenly grasped him on the wrist. 'Oh. No. It's fine, Bakugou. You don't have t—' 'Nah, don't be stubborn.' He rose from his seat and plodded to the hallway. 'And it's Katsuki, Momo.'

There was piercing pain on the left side of his head. He couldn't feel his legs. There was something heavy on top him, pressure thrusting on his back bone.

"Bakugou! Yaomomo!"

He tried to open his eyes but only managed to open the right. He slightly shook his head, dust and debris falling from above him. He blinked several times before he managed to open his left eye, adjusting his view better at the current state he's in. He tried to move his right arm only to notice it wrapped around something soft beneath him. His eyes opened wide, a sense of panic rushing over him.

It was Momo, unconscious with her head bleeding.

He suddenly felt a surge of energy inside him. He lifted his right arm with all he got, pushing off the huge debris pressing against him. He gasped for air as the view cleared on top of him. He immediately lifted Momo using his left arm pinned under her frail body. He carried her and laid her on top of the debris he just threw off of them. She wasn't breathing. He pressed his ear against her chest, feeling her heart beat.

There was none.

What. Fuck. No. No. NO!

He screamed her name as he shook her lifeless body. "Momo! Wake up! Wake the fuck up!"

He placed his hands at the center of her chest. He pushed hard and fast, doing it twice per second. He slowly breathed into her mouth. Still nothing.

"Bakugou! Yaomomo!" a woman's voice cried out.

He pushed on her chest again, tears slowly forming in his eyes. Wake the fuck up, Momo! I haven't told you how much I love you yet! "Breathe, Momo! Please, breathe! God damn it, Momo!" He tilted her head then breathed on her mouth again. Hot tears fell from his eyes, his hands shaking as he placed them on top of her chest, pushing down hard and fast again. Live, Momo! Don't— Don't fucking leave me! He slowly breathed on her mouth for the fifth time.

"Kacchan! Yaomomo!"

He looked over her face, eyes closed with dust speckled on her skin. He cupped her face with his shaking hands and gently kissed her on the forehead. Please. Please breathe. Don't… You can't die. I need to… I need to tell you… that I love you.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya shouted as he ran towards them. Behind him was Uraraka, Sero, Iida and Jirou, all clad in dirt and blood, their clothes torn and ripped on some areas. He could hear sirens from afar. "Get some fucking help!" Uraraka and Iida immediately ran back towards the clearing.

Bakugou jolted upright, his legs trembling and losing balance before he could even take a step forward. Midoriya caught him by the arm, aiding him to prevent him from stumbling. "Who did this?!" Bakugou scowled, rage burning in his eyes. He gripped tightly on Midoriya's shoulder.

"Who fucking did this to her?!"

"Kacchan ca—" He couldn't hear Midoriya, the noises drowned out by the image on Momo's lifeless body. He glanced back at Momo lying on the ground behind him. He saw her finger twitch before he let the darkness engulf him.

It was past 10 in the evening when Bakugou was woken up by his stomach growling. Fuck, I forgot I haven't had dinner yet. He was too occupied by his training, he forgot about dinner. He wanted to grab a bite earlier but he decided to shower and rest first before eating. He fell asleep immediately after his shower.

He went downstairs to prepare himself some snack. As he makes his way into the kitchen, he heard noises coming from the common area. The television was on and a zombie flick was playing. He noticed a ponytail dangling from the far right end of the sofa. Momo was looking intently at the screen, the light coming from the television illuminated the structure of her face.

'It's past 10 in the evening.' he called out. A startled Momo jerked her head, looking at the direction where the voice came from. 'Katsuki. Hello.' She peered at him, a small smile on her face. 'What are you doing here?' ''Was gonna ask you the same damn thing.' He walked towards the sofa, leaning his arms on the backrest. 'I'm watching a movie. I can't sleep.' He glared at her face, pale as snow yet her lips were as red as cherries. 'Join me, if you want.'

Bakugou suddenly felt his stomach twist, butterflies slowly making their way around. 'Let me make a sandwich first. I'm fucking starving.' He turned around to head to the kitchen just as Momo stood up from her seat. 'Me too. Let me help you.' He raised his brows, grinning at her. 'You know how to cook?' Momo gave an embarrassed smile. 'I-I… burn things.' Bakugou snickered. 'Okay so that's a no because food isn't supposed to be fucking burnt. If you want, you can watch me do it. You don't have to help. We don't wanna fucking burn the kitchen down.'

They made their way into the kitchen, Momo standing behind the bar as Bakugou prepared their food. He brought out butter, cheese, bread and other stuff from the fridge. 'What are you making?' Momo inquired, her eyes sparkling bright. Didn't notice she has nice eyes. 'Grilled cheese sandwich.' 'A sandwich? You think I might burn the kitchen because of a sandwich? Let me help! How hard could it be?' She chirped. Bakugou smirked as he held a spatula up. 'Ponytail, I don't fucking think. I fucking know.' He smirked as Momo pursed her lips. She's fucking cute when she's annoyed. 'Just let me try! If I burn it, I won't pester you about cooking again! If I don't, you'll lessen your cursing in front me.' 'Okay, sure. But if you burn it, you'll also have to face Aizawa and I won't save your sorry ass from his scolding because you insisted on cooking.' He handed her the spatula and she stomped her way in front of the stove, turning it on. 'You have to put the fucking pan before turning on the stove, Ponytail! God damn you really are gonna burn this house down!' She fumbled as she placed the pan on top of the stove. 'Okay. So uhm, what do I do next?' 'Put some butter on the pan and put two slices of bread.' She cut a slab of butter and placed it on the pan, which immediately melts and turns golden brown. She puts the slices of bread in. 'Your pan is too hot. Turn down the heat!' She scrabbled around with the stove, accidentally turning the heat higher. 'Let me do it!' Bakugou reached for the knob, turning it to the opposite direction. 'Great. You just burned two fucking slices of bread, Ponytail.' She bit her tongue and stared at him apologetically. Is she trying to act cute so I won't be pissed?! He sighed as he mindlessly patted her on top of her head gently, her cheeks slightly blushed at his gesture. 'That's fine. It's just a damn sandwich. You'll do better next time.' 'You'll teach me?' 'Every night, if you want to. And I'll try lessen the cursing in front of you from now on.'

They talked as he cooked, as they ate and as they hang out in the sofa. The movie was just noise in the background.

By the time they're done, he was tired but full. His heart, that is. His stomach was still grumbling. That fucking sandwich wasn't enough.

"She hasn't woken up yet."

"But the doctor said she's gonna be fine."

"How about the others?"

"Hagakure and others were discharged the other day. It's a good thing we only got minor injuries.'

"Yaomomo and Bakugou were the ones on the center of the impact."

"Have they heard anything from the police?"

Bakugou felt a sharp pain on the left side of his said. He slowly opened his eyes but immediately squints as a bright light pierced into his sight.

"Bakubro!"

"He's waking up!"

Bakugou slowly opened his eyes again, Kirishima's face welcoming him back to consciousness. "Hey, Bakubro! How you holdin' up?" Mina was behind Kirishima, smiling at him warmly. On the opposite side was Sero, Jirou and Kaminari. "Hey, bro! We're glad you're okay. You've been out for a few days now."

He slowly sat up, Kirishima lending him a hand for support. Jirou placed a pillow behind his back to lean on. "Thanks." He muttered. His eyes scanned through his body, seeing bandages and stitches on some places, nothing too severe. The room fell silent for a minute. He was trying to recall how he ended up in a hospital bed. His brows furrowed. The last thing he remembered was entering Yaoyorozu's room.

'I should be with you.'

His eyes widened.

"Where is she?!" He snarled, ignoring the sharp pain that suddenly pierced on his head. "Katsuki, calm down—" "She's fine now." Kaminari placed his hand on his shoulder. "She's just resting." "Her vitals signs are stable." Jirou said with an assuring tone. "She's gonna be fine, Bakugou. You still need to rest."

He pushed Kaminari's hand away. "Fuck rest! I'm fine! Where is she?!" Kirishima sighed. "She's on the other room." Eyes darted at him, Mina smacking him at the back of his head, Jirou hissing at his face. "`Ow!" He rubbed his head, looking back at Mina who was looking at him threateningly. "Look, Bakubro wouldn't shut up until he sees her, okay? No matter how hard we try to hold him. Might as well just make it easier for everyone. I'll guide him. He's quite better now." The other four sighed in submission. "Let me get a wheelchair." Kaminari hastily said. "The fuck dunce face? I don't need a fucking wheelchair. I can walk."

He planted his feet on the ground. Kirishima reached under his arm to lift him up. "I don't need your fucking help, shitty hair." "Dude just let us do this, please. You've been out for a few days. You'll recover faster if you let us help you. Now, c'mon." Bakugou scoffed but didn't protest anymore. Mina opened the door for them. "Her room's the one on the corner."

They made their way slowly, Kirishima still guiding him by the arm. "You're lucky it's just a few broken bones and nothing too serious." Kirishima explained. "I don't fucking care about that. How is she?" he groaned. "She hit her head pretty hard. But she's stable now. She has the best doctor in the country. Plus, it's a good thing you were there. You cushioned the impact on her." He still doesn't remember what exactly happened, but he did what his reflexes told him to: Pull her close and don't let go, no matter what happens.

Kirishima knocked on the door, asking for permission to come in. Midoriya opened it gently, allowing them in. Uraraka, Tsuyu and Iida were also in the room. His gaze immediately locked on Todoroki's back, hovering over Momo's body. "I think she's waking up."

He immediately pulled away from Kirishima's grasp, standing straight as if he just learned how to use his legs for the first time. "Momo! Can you hear me?" Todoroki cried. He sat and held onto Momo's hand, giving a slight sting on Bakugou's chest. I should be the one holding her hand.

Bakugou stood there for a moment, silent, waiting for something to happen; Kirishima stood beside him. They could see Momo stirring.

"Momo." Todoroki called out again. Momo's face winced slightly, her eyes slowly opening. Bakugou felt a thorn pulled out from his chest. "She's awake!" Kirishima gasped. Midoriya and the others gathered around her bed, leaving the two boys in the corner by the door.

"K-Kat…" she started slowly, almost inaudible. She blinked gently as she slowly opened her mouth to speak.

"Kats… Katsuki…" she called out softly. Todoroki's eyes narrowed. The others looked at her eagerly, unable to hear what she just said. "M-Momo? It's me, Shouto." He held her hand tighter. "W-Where… Where is… Katsuki?" Todoroki glared at her, confused and unable to comprehend what she just said. Midoriya turned his eyes to Bakugou, who had the same baffled look plastered on his face. "W-Why is she… Looking for Bakugou?" Uraraka mindlessly muttered.

Bakugou wanted to take a step closer, but he felt the atmosphere change. There was tension in the room. Todoroki's gripped remained on her hand.

Momo's fully awake now, looking at the faces around her bed. "Where's Katsuki?" She said, her voice quite cracking but it was much clearer now. Tsuyu reached for her other hand and gently rubbed her forehead. "Yaomomo." she started, a hint of concern in her voice. "How are you feeling?" Momo glared at her for a moment. "I don't know… what happened… I need… my boyfriend. Where… is he? Katsuki…"

Eyes darted on Todoroki, who was still gripping her hand, bringing it over his mouth and pressing his lips on it. His face was expressionless, but his eyes were filled with fury. Then to Bakugou, who was still standing in the corner with Kirishima, both puzzled as to what's currently happening. Todoroki gently placed her hand down and cocked his head towards the two guys in the corner. He glared at Bakugou intensely before he stood up. "I need to talk to her doctor. She's clearly not well. Midoriya, can you please watch over her for a second?" he asked, his eyes still glued onto Bakugou.

Momo turned her head to face Todoroki, unable to notice the two figures far behind him. "Shouto… what are you… doing here? Where's Katsuki?" Todoroki flinched upon hearing the name. He shut his eyes tightly for a second to clear his head. He jerked his head to face her.

"He's—"

"I'm here."

All eyes shifted on Bakugou, who was now glaring back at Todoroki with intense rage in his eyes. "I'm here, Momo." Kirishima looked at him in disbelief. He moved in front of Bakugou, trying to prevent him from coming closer to Momo's bed. "Bakugou, what are you doing?!" Kirishima huffed. Bakugou pushed him aside as he make his way towards her bed, ignoring his question while his eyes still glared at Todoroki.

"I'm here, babe. Your boyfriend's here."
