"A group of young heroes, and the young swordfighter Lyn. A strange combination on an even stranger journey. To prepare for the long road ahead, they go to Bulgar, the commercial center of Sacae. Unbeknownst to Lyn, she will discover something that will alter her life forever." Ibuki said.

"What the heck are you doing?" Hiyoko said.

"Narration. You know, to get us excited even when we're in this strange world." Ibuki said.

"Ibuki, we've been to many worlds stranger than this one, what makes this world stranger?" Hope asked.

"It's called foreshadowing." Ibuki said. "I don't know what's gonna happen. Hence the point of a fun narration."

"Hey look, we're here!" Eddy said, pointing to the town of Bulgar as the group approached its entrance.

"My, what a large city." Double D commented.

"Well apparently, it's the biggest city in Sacae. That's what you said, right Lyn?" Mark asked.

"Yes. Now I'll go ahead and get out supplies and…" Lyn said.

"Well hello there. You here by yourself?" asked a young man with short green hair.

"A Good question. I have a better one however." Lyn said. "Where are you from that you'd speak so freely to a stranger?"

"I hail from Lycia, in the Calien canton. Men who are there are born of passion and fire!" the man said.

"Shouldn't that be callow oafs with loose tongues?" Lyn said.

"You know you're even lovelier when you're cruel." the man said.

"Is this guy for real? Wait, why am I asking? We know a lot of his type." Hope said.

"Let's go, everyone. I've nothing more to say." Lyn huffed as she turned to leave.

"Oh….I don't think you will." a voice said as a bandit stood near the entrance. "Such a waste. An absolute waste. The things I'll do for gold. Ah, well. Time to die, darlin'! C'mon out, boys!" he shouted as several bandits came out.

"Geez… There are bandits everywhere, I guess." David said.

"Fear not, my lady. I shall take their heads." the green haired man said going to attack with a lance before he was attacked by one of the bandits.

"Sain...you know very well lances don't do well with axes." a young man with short brown hair said, arriving before handing Sain a sword.

"The lance suits me as a hero, Kent. But thank you for the spare blade." the man called Sain said.

"Thanks for the help." Hope said.

"Worry not, we will help you defeat these brigands." Kent said. "Are there any tacticans in your ranks?"

"A few, yes." David said.

"Get them ready. We'll need direction if we want to make it out alive." Kent said.

"Okay. Leave it to us." Leopardmon said. "Kent, right? Launch an attack on that bandit."

"On it." Kent said charging the bandit before slaying him.

"Take caution, there is a bandit in that forest nearby." Leopardmon said. "Cheetah, can you take this one?"

"As if you needed to ask." Cheetah said running into the forest and cutting the bandit down in mere moments. "He lost the moment he hid in there."

"There's another bandit over by the bridge. Lyn, you know what to do, right?" Leopardmon asked. "Ramona, we'll need you to heal up Sain."

"I'm on it. Dia!" Ramona said as she heals Sain's wounds.

"I will head to the bridge and defeat that bandit." Lyn advanced and cut down the bandit.

"Alright. The bandit leader should be all that's left now." Leopardmon said.

"Don't worry about a thing. I'll take care of him." David said.

"Damn knights, always getting in our way." the leader said brandishing his axe.

"This will be over in a second." David said as light flashed from his blade. "Say goodbye to your teeth!" he said as dashed at the leading bandit, landing a blow on him.

"Gah!" he shouted. "There was only...supposed to be...a lone...girl." he said before falling over.

"Whew… Well, that's over." David said.

"Yes. We've managed to wipe out the bandits. We thank you for your help." Leopardmon said to Kent and Sain.

"It's no issue. Actually...you called her Lyn...as in Lyndis?" Kent asked.

"That's right. Do you know her?" Ramona asked.

"We're knights from the country of Caelin. We were dispatched by the Marquess, Lord Hausen, to search for his granddaughter. Her." Kent said pointing to Lyndis. "We've been asked to welcome her into Caelin and take her back with us."

"Me?" Lyn asked.

"We have been tasked by Hausen to escort you back to Calien so that he may see his granddaughter." Sain explained.

"Oh wow. This is all pretty sudden. I mean, Lyn, a noblewoman? I never would've guessed." David said.

"If this is the case...then I will choose to accept. I will return with you. But before then...there's a shrine I want to visit before we set off. I want to offer a prayer to the spirits." Lyndis said.

"Very well." Kent said "Are the rest of you okay with this as well?"

"No problems here." Hope said.

"This is a journey after all. There's gonna be a few stops." Jexi said.

"Agreed. We'll go too." David said.

"Yes. Let's get going then." Lyndis said.
