A few days later
Percy's POV
I was in the arena of my mother's palace. She said,'Percy, in order to become the earth, you must imagine yourself dissolving, you must have a thought of where you want to appear, before imagining yourself appearing there'. I nodded and tried. I imagined my body dissolving, then I imagined being next to mother. I felt a tingling sensation and I opened my eyes. I was tired that I nearly fell to the floor. My mother said,'That was well, but you could do this as well, but instead of dissolving into earth, you could dissolve yourself to water vapor, like your father'. I nodded. We tried this for a long time before I could do it without feeling very tired. I finally did it. I the focused on trying it with my fathers power. It took me a while, but I finally did it. I felt extremely tired. I continued this until I could do this without being tired. After finally completing this, I remembered something.
I needed to go to Nyx for my training. I was thinking of how to get there when I remembered what my mother told me before. I could travel there by dissolving my body to the earth. I thought of the Mansion of Night. I felt a strange sensation as my body dissolved and reappeared in the Mansion of Night. I slowly walked forward and opened the gate to the mansion. I was thinking about what I was going to do today when I accidentally bumped into someone. I opened my eyes and I saw the girl on the ground. She had black hair as well as black eyes. She had a hunters build and she was obviously a daughter of Nyx. I said,'Sorry'. She looked at me and she said the same. I held my hand out and she took it. I saw a slight blush appear on her face. I then said,'Percy, short for Perseus'. She looked at me before shaking my hand and saying,'Sky, short for Skyla'. We both smiled. We were interrupted by a cough. I looked around and saw Nyx. She had a smiled plastered on her face. I slowly walked toward her. She said,'Well, Percy, it seems you have met my daughter'. I nodded. She looked at SKy and said,'Come as well, you can train together'. Sky nodded and walked up to me. Just before she got to me, Nyx said,'Be careful and do not annoy her, she has a short temper like her father Tartarus'. I nodded. We were both led to a arena. When we arrived there, Nyx said,'I want both of you to have a duel'. I nodded. We both made our way to the center.
I flashed on my armour as well as my fauchard and shield. Sky summoned armour as well as a shield but she had a sword instead. She grinned at me wickedly. I shivered. I got ready and she did as well. Nyx whistled and Sky charged at me. I used my years of training to sidestep her. She turned around with incredible agility and attempted to slash at my neck. I ducked and I sweeped her. She fell to the ground but instead of hitting the ground, she dissolved into the shadows. I went on high alert. I could feel a slash aimed at my stomach coming and my instincts kicked in. I twirled my fauchard and blocked the attack. We kept attacking each other,but we couldn't get a hit on each other. I decided to try something new. As Sky attempted to slash at my stomach, I dissolved my body into water vapour like I saw my father do, but instead of dissolving my whole body, I only dissolved the part on my she was confused, I properly vapor traveled and I appeared behind her and held my blade at her throat. She gulped and she dropped her weapons. I smiled and removed the turned around and said,'Wow, you are really good'. I smiled and replied
'Thanks, you were great as well'. She nodded. We shook hands and went to Nyx. Nyx said,'Percy, you are really good, but you could improve', she turned her attention to Sky and said,'You need to brush up on your sword skills'. Sky nodded. The rest of the day, we spent learning moves with our weapons. I was now very skilled and could probably beat Thalia and Clarisse. I shook that thought from my mind. Sky left and I kept practicing my moves. I wanted to make sure they were perfect. I kept this up for a few more hours after, and then I left. I vapour traveled to my father's palace. It was much bigger than Poseidon's and it was much grander. They held council meetings in the palace of Chaos, my grandmother. Although she had faded, the Primordials were allowed to hold meetings there just like they did before. I slowly walked to my bedroom. I opened the door and I stepped inside. I quickly flashed on new clothes. I then lay down on my bed and went to sleep.
Next Day
I woke up and I found a note on my drawer. I read it
Percy, you have been summoned to a meeting at 10 am. Don't worry, you are not in trouble.
Pontus
I sighed. I looked at the clock and saw it was almost 10, so I quickly got ready. I was searching for my ring. I made some modifications, so my fauchard turned into a ring when I didn't need it. I found it and quickly put it on. I got out of my room and vapour traveled to the palace of Chaos. I arrived there and I stood at the door. In a few minutes, Sky appeared. She looked at me before saying,'You got the note as well'. I nodded. After 2 minutes, the door opened. We both walked in at the same time. The Primordials were on their thrones in all their glory. We stopped in the middle of the room. My father was the first to speak and he said,'Perseus, Sky, we the Primordials have seen great potential and we have an offer for you'.
Tartarus continued and said 'We want Sky to become the Guardian of the Primordial council while you Perseus', he looked at me,' will become the Assassin of the Primordials'. Erebus said,'You will gain control over all of out domains'.
'Your skill with the powers will improve with time,and you will eventually have control over our domains as well as we do', finished Ouranos. I though for a moment.
