Chapter 2

Octavia knew that after the bridge was blown that the grounders would return. But she didn't realize how much force and brutality they would use. She left Lincoln, refusing his offer to go to the ocean and look for Lunastribe. He wasn't who she thought he was, he chose not to warn her of the grounder biological war fair. It felt like a betrayal; A betrayal that could have killed her and her brother.

She was torn between worlds. Skycrew or treacrew? Both had rejected her, both known for their violent and relentless ruling. The grounder rules and way of life was harsh, but it was brutally honest. Unlike in space, the Ark council weremasters of deceiving, using peoples own emotions as a weapon against them. Something about that was worse to Octavia. It was what had her mother floated, what kept her under the floor, and ultimately what had her punished for purely living. The grounders would never be so cruel. At least that's what she thought - after Murphy brought in the deadly fever to soften the battle field she once again started to feel distrust and ager towards both.

She focused on leading her people to safety. To Luna and the ocean. They didn't march far before the realization hit, a literal headshot, proving it was too late to try and run. The scouts had already arrived; the army would be there long before they could escape. They were forced to fight. Behind the walls she felt crushed; she was neither grounder nor skycrew. What she did know it that if she stayed behind those walls she would die. She raced out after the gunners;she would fight for the sky people today, and decide her own fate after the battle.

The chaos of the firefight worked just as the grounders planned. They attacked the foxhole spearing Miller in the shoulder and nearly killing Bellamy. Narrowly saved by his sister sword skills. The very skills she learned from her grounder lover. Octavia was hit within moments of her kill, Bellamy scrabbled trying to carry his injured sister threw the forest and back to the drop ship. His panic was rising; Octavia sensed it and raked her mind trying to find a solution. Just has hope felt lost Lincoln appears with Finn. Finn raced ahead with medicine for Raven, Bellamy faced a choice he hoped to never make. Watch his sister leave with a grounder, or risk her life with him. He chose Lincoln. "My life didn't end when you were born, it started" Bellamy said to her as she was carried away reluctantly. Affirming his love for her, before possibly never seeing her again. Octavia was still sour towards Lincoln, despite all the good he's done, he's also hurt her. Her anger is consuming her, but she felt the familiar pressure within her. She can't help but feel his warmth. Lincoln's arms, so effortless carrying her to the cave, his cold yet deep eyes focused on one thing - Getting her to safety. The comfort he gave her seemed to push the anger aside. They got closer to the cave and Octavia is already trembling, she's unsure if it's from pain... or pleasure. The combinations of both seemed to thrill her.

Once inside the cave Octavia began to feel ill. She dry heaved several times. She hadn't noticed it before, but suddenly the smells around her became over whelming. The room was spinning. Lincoln assumed it was the shock from her wounds, but Octavia new better. She sensed what the truth was. And it terrified her.

Lincoln watched her weep, he wanted to give her something for the pain, but Finn had taken all of his tinctures and it was still too dangerous to wander out side for new herbs. After searing her wound shut with a hot blade, He looked deep into Octavia eyes, she bagged for the pain to stop. He bent down and kissed her "I have nothing for you, the only relief now, is the one your body makes for you" before she could absorb what he meant, Lincoln was hooking his finger in the loops of her jeans. Slowly pulling them down her hips. Octavia was stunned; but the thought of pleasure overwhelmed her and seemed to ease the pain. She lifted her hips off the floor allowing her pants to slide off more easily. The next breath planted Lincoln firmly against her. Moving his tongue slowly just like he had there first night together. More confident this time, Octavia bucked her hips urging him on.. Faster.. Harder. Thedistraction her orgasm brought was welcoming; it cleared her mind, and eased her pain momentarily. She collapsed into the furs below her the oxytocin pulsing threw herveins. She closed her eyes and was asleep almost instantly.
