NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
It was Monday morning in the Thorndyke household as we see Chris talking to his mom on the phone as he wore a red/white t-shirt with a belt hanging off the edge of his jeans and stylish shoes. While Chris was busy with his mom, Warren and Sonic sat on the roof above him as Warren listened in to the conversation curiously while Sonic looks bored.
"Oh, this picture has been a disaster, darling! A complete disaster! We've had to stop shooting because there's been torrential rain for days, so there's nothing I can do besides sit and wait. I don't think I'll be back 'til late next week at the earliest. But I had plenty of time to go shopping, and I'm having lots of wonderful presents that I hope you'll like them. They're coming on daddy's jet, so you should have them tonight!" Chris's mother says as the young boy smiled.
"Thanks, Mom. Mom, there's something I have to-well, there's something I did, which I'm kinda not supposed to do."
"Christopher, what happened!? Are you alright!?" Chris's mom panics as Chris was quick to calm her down.
"Yeah, I'm fine, Mom. But remember about how you've said that I'm not allowed to swim at night and how you wanted me to stay away from the adult pool?" Chris says as a man in a suit appeared with a tray full of Chris breakfast and placed it on the table. The man is quite tall with Asian features, light tan skin, brown eyes, smooth black hair, and he wears a black suit with a white shirt underneath, glasses, and a purple bow tie. His name is Mr. Tanaka, Chris's butler, and bodyguard. "Thanks, Mr. Tanaka," Chris says as his butler nodded, and walked away.
"Did you go swimming in the adult pool at night all by yourself!?"
"Um, well...not exactly, you see there were these...cat's in the pool, and I got them out." Chris says as he glanced at the duo sitting up at the roof, who gave him blank looks for being referred to as 'cat's' as the young boy grins sheepishly.
"Oh, you have a big heart just like I do. Next time, ring for Mr. Tanaka, and he'll take care of it, all right?" Chris's mom says as Chris blushed in embarrassment over her worrying and blushed even more as he noticed Warren snickering. "Oh, darling, I must run. Kiss mummy goodbye." She says while making kissing noises through the phone as Chris reluctantly did the same. "Ciao, sweetheart." She says as Chris hangs up the phone, and the boys jumped onto the balcony.
"Mama's boy." Warren teased.
"Shut up," Chris says while rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"Take a good look, kid. I'm a hedgehog, and he's a rabbit. We're not cats!"
"Uh, I know. Please don't be mad. You see, my mom wouldn't understand."
"Why wouldn't she?" Warren asked while tilting his head cutely in confusion.
"Well, first of all, she knows that I wouldn't risk diving into a pool in the middle of the night just to save a little hedgehog. And if I told her that I saved a little bunny, she's going to ask questions."
"Well, I guess that makes sense, but why wouldn't you tell her the truth?" Warren asked as Chris gave him a blank look.
"Dude, are you serious? Look at you guys! My mom will freak if she finds out that I saved a talking bunny and hedgehog! Hey, that reminds me, where and when did you guys learn how to talk?" Chris asked as the boys shrugged.
"Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer because I don't remember."
"Ditto," Warren says.
"Well...how did you get your powers?" Chris asked, curious about their unique abilities as he saw clips of Sonic and Warren using their powers on the news.
"Oh, that's easy. I got my powers from...huh, you know what? I don't know. I had them since I was born, and I'm pretty sure that I didn't get them from my parents, so I don't really know where my powers come from. I really need to have a talk with my parents once I go back home." Sonic says to himself as Chris turned to Warren.
"What about you, Warren? Where your powers come from?" Chris curiously asked as the small bunny shrugs.
"Don't know. Unlike Sonic, I wasn't born with my powers, it just came to me one day. I think I got them from my parents, but I don't know if that's true or not since they abandoned me on Angel Island when I was really young."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Chris apologized, not meaning to bring up bad memories as Warren waved it off.
"It's fine, I barely know them, so it's not like I'm heartbroken about it," Warren says, just as the phone rings as Chris picks it up.
"Hello?"
"Chris, is everything alright?" A man's voice rang out as Chris smiled.
"Hey, Dad, how are you?"
"I'm fine, but your mother just called and told me that you made an emergency rescue last night. I guess our security system can't protect against stray cats that decide they want to go for a midnight swim. Chris, I know you like animals, but what you did was dangerous. Were you hurt? Did these cat's scratch you while you were trying to save them?" Chris's dad says as the young boy shakes his head.
"No scratches at all. I'm fine, Dad. Honest, I am. It wasn't really that big of a deal. After I jumped in and got them out of the water, they were really happy, I can tell." Chris says as Warren nodded while Sonic picks his ear, uninterested.
"Yeah, gotcha, yeah."
"Besides, I could've Grandpa or Ella or Mr. Tanaka to help me if I needed to. Don't worry, Dad. They're taking good care of me."
"Yeah, they better be. Listen, Chris. I've got an important meeting to run to. You call me anytime if you need anything and no more late-night swims, promise?"
"Okay, Dad. I promise. See ya soon." Chris says before hanging up the phone as Sonic shakes his head, and Warren chuckled. Chris blushed a bit as he chuckled before remembering something. "Oh, I almost forgot, you guys must be pretty hungry. I was thinking you guys might like to have something to eat."
"Oh, yeah, I'm starving! I haven't eaten anything in like a whole day! What about you, Sonic?" Warren asked his friend, who shrugs.
"Yeah, I guess I could go for something to eat. What's on the menu, kid?" Sonic asked Chris as the young boy pulls out a carrot and bowl filled with unknown food of some sort.
"I know bunnies like carrots, so I will give you this one. It's fresh, so you will love it." Chris says as Warren stares at the carrot weirdly, never seen a type of food like that before in his life as Chris presented the bowl to Sonic. "And, I checked out hedgehogs on the internet and found the perfect thing," Chris says as the boys glanced at each other before shrugging as they grabbed their foods and began eating.
"Mmm, oh my Chaos! This thing is so delicious! Where has this thing been all of my life?!" Warren says with stars in his eyes as he hugged his carrot in delight.
"Ugh, what is this!?" Sonic says, not liking his food at all as he throws the bowl away.
"Cat food," Chris explained as Sonic cringed.
"Ugghhh! No wonder it tastes like there's a cat in it!"
"The website I went to said most hedgehogs love cat food. I guess that doesn't go for all hedgehogs. I can get you a bowl of crickets?"
"And, I'm out," Sonic says, leaping out of the balcony as he landed on a tree.
"Huh? Where are you going?" Chris asked as Sonic turns to him.
"Going out for a run. See you later! Bye, Warren!" Sonic says before jumping off the tree as he zooms off.
"Well, he's gone. Do you think he would come back?" Chris asked Warren, who finished eating his carrot as he burped.
"Don't worry, Sonic will come back. He's just going out for his morning run."
"But what happens if someone sees him? He could get hurt." Chris says, worried as Warren smirked.
"They have to catch him first," Warren says before jumping off the ledge as he landed next to Chris. "But while he's gone, let's go into the kitchen and prepare some real breakfast. And maybe you could give me more of those carrots." Warren hopefully asked as Chris laughed.
"Sure, follow me," Chris says as he walks into the mansion, and Warren follows him.

Just like Warren said, Sonic appeared a few minutes later as the boys were now relaxing on the sofa, eating their breakfast as they watched the news.
"The supersonic speed demon and the flying rabbit monster seen here on police helicopter video has the city baffled." The news lady reported as Warren frowned while munching on a carrot as he didn't like being called a monster.
"The blue one was about this high, and the other one was a wee bit shorter, they were wearing clothes, and had superpowers! They were freaks!" A police officer says.
"I was doing about 60 when this went 'Wooo!' right by me, and then I saw a glowing figure flying after him! It was freaky!" A citizen says.
"That hedgehog moved way too fast to be a regular animal!"
"I don't know why everybody keeps freaking out about them, I think they look cute, especially the little bunny one!" A teenage girl says as Warren blushed at being called cute.
"As to the question of whether or not these creatures are UMA's, Unidentified Mutant Animal's, it is positively not. Even the cheetah, which is widely believed to be the fastest member of the animal kingdom, cannot outrun a speeding Formula One police car. And, no animal, especially bunnies, can fly without the help of wings. So, one has to come to the conclusion that this so-called 'hedgehog' and 'rabbit' are most likely machines created by the military." A zoologist says as Sonic munches on his breakfast, and Chris frowns at him, just as the door opened as an old man walked in.
The old man is 55-years-old with wisteria eyes, tan skin, a short stature, thick eyebrows, wrinkles beneath his eyes, and gray hair that is combed backward's. His outfit consists of a blue shirt with a collar, a striped dark-green sweater that he wears over his shirt, a white lab coat, brown pants, and purple shoes. His name is Chuck Thorndyke, Chris's Grandfather.
"Chris! There you are!" Chuck says while rushing over to his nephew, not noticing the animals staring at him in surprise as he glanced at his grandson excitedly. "Guess what?! A big, blue hedgehog came out of nowhere and outran the S-Team yesterday! And, it was followed by a glowing bunny that was flying through the sky like a rocket!" Chuck says before noticing Sonic and Warren as they stared at each other.
"Hello, my name is-agh!" Warren says, about to introduce himself to Chuck when suddenly Chris grabs two pillows and covers the small animals under them. "Hey, what are you doing?!"
"Hey, cut it out! We can't breathe under here!" Sonic says, annoyed as he throws the pillow off of him while Warren used his powers to rip the cushion to shreds as he gasped for breath, and Chuck stares at the small heroes in shock.
"Hmmm, wait a minute. An anthropomorphic blue hedgehog, and an anthropomorphic black bunny? Just like those..." Chuck says before his eyes widen in realization as he gasped in shock. "It's them!" Chuck says with a big smile as he grabbed Sonic by his quills while grabbed Warren by his ears.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Why do you people always grab me by my ears!?" Warren asked, annoyed with tears of pain leaking out his eyes as Chris's eyes grew wide with worry/shock.
"Easy, Grandpa! Put them down!"
"I need to see how these things are put together. Hey, Chris? You wouldn't mind helping your Grandpa out by helping me strap them onto the examining table, would ya?" Chuck says as Sonic and Warren panicked and jumps out of their grasp as Sonic pulls Warren behinds him protectively, and the young animal rubs his sore ears.
"Stand still, would ya!?" Chuck says while pulling out a screwdriver as he was about to chase after them, but Chris stops him.
"Grandpa, wait! They're not machines. They're Sonic the Hedgehog and Warren the Rabbit." Chris says as Chuck stands up in shock, and drops his screwdriver.
"Please! Please, leave us alone!" A familiar soft voice rang out as Warren and Sonic immediately turned to the TV. And were surprised to see their friends, Cream and Cheese, standing on a billboard as firefighters tried to rescue them.
"Go away! Don't hurt us!" Cream says while crying in fear as she hugged a scared Cheese.
"Don't worry, little lady. We'll get you down in no time." A firefighter says, trying to calm her down, but it had the opposite effect as Cream and Cheese cried harder.
"No! Don't touch us! Someone help!" Cream cried out as the firefighter grabbed her and Cheese.
"It's Cream and Cheese!" Sonic shouted as Chris tilted his head, confused.
"Who?"
"They're our friends from our home planet," Sonic explained to Chris, before turning to Warren. "See, Warren. I told you we couldn't be the only ones who were transported into this weird world." Sonic says before blinking as he noticed Warren staring at the TV while shaking in anger. "Uh, little buddy? Are you alright?"
"...They're scaring her, Sonic." Warren says, watching as the firefighter dragged a protesting Cream and Cheese to a police car as he narrowed his eyes and growled. "Nobody hurts my Cream! Come on, Sonic, we need to go now!"
"Right! Let's go!" Sonic says as he zoomed out of the house with Warren flying after him as Chris runs out of the door.
"Guys, wait! Do you even know where they are?" Chris asked as the boy's skids to a stop and turned around as they ran/flew back to the house. Chris covered his eyes from the dust cloud they created as Sonic and Warren shrugged with sheepish looks on their faces as the boys clearly didn't think that far ahead.
"Come on, come on, what's taking him so long?" Warren asked while pacing around the garage of Chris's mansion as the others watched him.
"Warren must really care about his friends, huh?" Chris asked as Sonic shakes his head in exasperation.
"Oh, you have no idea. Hey, Warren!" Sonic called out, gaining Warren's attention as Sonic placed his hands on his hips. "Kid, you need to relax. I want to save Cream and Cheese just as much as you do, but can you please stop pacing? It's getting on our nerves." Sonic says, slightly annoyed as Warren stopped walking and sighed.
"I know, it's just...I'm worried," Warren says as Sonic's annoyance fades, and he gave the small rabbit a reassuring smile.
"I know, kid, me too. But don't worry, we will rescue them in no time." Sonic says as Warren smiled.
"Thanks, Sonic," Warren says just as Chuck appeared as he was on the phone with a military official.
"I thought they probably do something along those lines. Well, thanks very much for giving me the scoop and I'll talk to you soon." Chuck says, hanging up the phone as he turned to the kids. "Well, it seems like Sonic and Warren's friends have been captured by the police and moved to Area 99."
"Area 99!? That's the top secret military base!" Chris says as Sonic and Warren looks at them confused. Seeing this, Chuck decided to explain.
"Area 99 its where the national defense force keeps all their tanks, fighter jets, and high-tech spy equipment."
"That sounds like Eggman's kind of place!" Sonic says.
"And if Area 99 is anything like that place, then we need to save our friends asap!" Warren says as he was about to fly off, but Chucks stops him.
"Hold on, little fella. I wasn't finished explaining. Your friends have been taken there by the army and placed under 24-hour guard. The authorities believe they could be aliens or perhaps members of a mutant species developed by an enemy of power designed to attack our population." Chuck says before glaring down at the small animals suspiciously as they glared back. "I wonder if they might not be right, Sonic and Warren, eh?"
"Sir, with all due respect, have you seen them? Do you honestly think that Cream and Cheese posses a threat to your planet? They can't even hurt a fly!" Warren says as Chuck stood up and crossed his arms.
"But what about you two?" Chuck says, surprising the kids as Chuck walks around the small heroes. "Sonic here outrun the S-Team with ease, and you have some rather unusual abilities as well," Chuck says before bending down to Warren's eye level. "For all, I know you two could be genetic experiments created by neighboring countries to conquer us, so tell me, how could you expect me to trust you guys?"
"Grandpa, stop!" Chris says as Sonic glared at the old man.
"Listen, here-"
"Sonic, let me handle this," Warren says as Sonic frowns, but nodded as Warren looked up at Chuck. "Look, mister, I have honestly no idea what the heck is going ever since me and Sonic came into this crazy world, but what I do know is that our friends are in danger and they need our help. And, if you tried to stop us, it's not going to look pretty." Warren says with his glowing blue as Sonic smirked, proud at his protégé as Chuck glared at him, before smiling as he stood up.
"That's all I needed to hear," Chuck says as everyone stared at him, confused.
"Huh?" They said as Chuck smirked.
"I just wanted to see if I could trust you guys or not so I can help you guys out. You two don't know your way around here, so it's best if I tag along with you."
"Grandpa, are you serious?!" Chris asked in shock as Chuck nodded.
"Of course, I'm serious, and you're coming along, too. You told me you don't want to live a boring life like your father, so here's your chance for some excitement!"
"Well, if you're up for it, I'm up for it! Just don't tell Dad!" Chris says as Warren smirked.
"I'm starting to like this world a bit," Warren says as Sonic grinned, and points outside.
"Then let's go save Cheese and Warren's girlfriend!"
"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" Warren screamed as everyone laughed.
After loading up in Chuck's car, the old man drove off towards Area 99 as they reached a desert road, and the animals groaned.
"It's gonna take forever to get there!" Sonic complains as Warren nodded.
"Yeah, by the time we get there, who knows what could happen to Cream and Cheese," Warren says as Chuck turned to them, slightly annoyed by their complaining.
"Guys, chill out! I know you're worried about your friends, but whining like little kids won't make the car go faster." Chuck says.
"But we are little kids," Warren says.
"Is it time?" Chris wondered while turning to his grandfather as he nodded.
"Its time!" Chuck says as Chris pulled out two Infrared Scope's, and handed them to Sonic and Warren.
"Put them on." Chris urges them as Warren and Sonic stared at the little devices, confused.
"What's this?" Sonic asked.
"Those are Infrared Scope's. I'm certain that Area 99 is full of infrared motion detectors that set off security alarms. If you wear them, you may be able to avoid them." Chuck explains.
"Oh, cool. Thanks." Warren says as he and Sonic put on their Infrared Scope's, before taking off their seatbelts as they jumped out of the car, and the small bunny levitated in the air. "Bye!" Warren says as his body glowed blue, and he took off at supersonic speeds, breaking the sound barrier as Chris and Chuck's hair flew back.
"See ya later, guys!" Sonic says before taking off at supersonic speeds as well as Chuck blinks slowly.
"They certainly are speedy little creatures, aren't they?" Chuck asked, before grinning like a madman as he steps on the accelerator pedal hard to keep up with Warren and Sonic. "YEAH!" Chuck yelled in excitement as Chris leans back, not feeling excited as his grandfather as he felt his face go green from the speed of the car. We then cue at Area 99, where we see a researcher walking towards a laboratory as he stands in front of an eye-scanner to validate his identity.
"Identification number: F219563. Confirmed." The Area 99 mainframe says as the door opens, and the researcher walks into the room as he saw a frightened Cream and Cheese trapped inside of a scanning tube device.
"We didn't do anything, please let us out!" Cream begs as a scanner comes closer to them, and they jumped in fright. "What kind of place is this? Cheese, we've gotta get out of here!" Cream says as the camera conducts further examination while Cream looks out in fear. "Warren, if you're out there somewhere, please save us." Cream says, pleading for her crush to save them as she and Cheese hugged each other for comfort. Outside, we see Sonic and Warren making their ways towards Area 99 as their Infrared Scope's beeped.
"Sonic, Warren, can you hear me?" Chris's voice rang out from their small devices.
"Yeah!"
"Loud and clear!"
"Remember, when you get to the main building, go in through an air vent. That should be a blind spot for security. Grandpa says its too small for humans to go through, but it's big enough for the both of you."
"Got it!"
"But Grandpa, after they get inside, how will they find their friends?" The boys heard Chris say as they were some shuffling, and Chuck's voice rang out.
"Listen to me, kids! Once you head inside, you won't have much time, so think quickly and act quickly! The more time you spend on the base, the more likely that you two will get caught!"
"Thanks for the tip, old man," Warren says before turning to Sonic as he grinned.
"Shall we?"
"Let's shall," Sonic says with a grin as they made it to the base, and Sonic jumps over the large fence while Warren teleported through it as the alarms rang out.
"Intruder's alert, sector D! Intruder's alert, sector D!" The Area 99 mainframe says as the cameras tried to locate the intruders, but couldn't find them.
"Ha, ha, these things work like a charm!" Warren says as the boys run/flies past a security camera, and came across an air vent as they jumped in.
"We're inside the air vent!" Sonic reports to the others as they slide down the air vent.
"Be careful," Chuck says as Warren landed on the vent and Sonic fells on top of him.
"Agh! Sonic, get off of me!" Warren says as Sonic jumps off of him, and grins sheepishly.
"Sorry about that, buddy," Sonic says as the boys then winced, and rubs their sore bottoms. "Ugh, it feels like I gave skid marks on my butt!" Sonic says as Warren nodded.
"Yeah, this is one of the few times that I wished I wear pants," Warren says as they looked on ahead, and lasers placed in the air vent. "Wow, they're certainly serious about security, huh?" He says as Sonic groans.
"How's it looking in there, guys?" Chris asked.
"Just great." Sonic sarcastically says as he looks down, and saw moving security cameras as he smirked. "On second thought, this mission will be a piece of cake!" The small hedgehog says as he removes the vent from the hall, and dropped down to the corridor with Warren as they quickly hugged themselves to the wall.
"I will take out the cameras," Warren says as he was about to zap the security cameras, but Sonic stops him.
"If you blow them up, that will cause unwanted attention. Follow my lead." Warren nodded as Sonic quickly move from wall to wall while avoiding the cameras as Warren did the same. "Heh, were too fast for them!" Sonic gloated as the boys glanced at the next section of the hallway that is filled with security cameras. "Heads up!" Sonic says as the boys zoomed down the corridor while repeating the same actions they did before to hide from the cameras.
"Searching for intruders. Searching for intruders. Searching for intruders." The Area 99 mainframe says as the boys continued moving. With Chris, we see him and his grandfather parking close to the base as the young boy looks on with worry for his friends.
"I wonder if they're okay..." Chris says Chuck patted his back for comfort and waited for their friends to come out. Back at the laboratory, Cream and Cheese looked up as they heard a weird noise, and saw a scanner coming down to them towards them as they whimpered in fear. The researches were supposedly surprised by the results they've received as they looked at Cream and Cheese with glints in their eyes, and the kids were even more scared than before.
"I don't like this..." Cream cries in worry as the scientists pulled out a box filled with sharp tools, and Cream and Cheese faces paled. "I really don't like this...Warren, please help us." Cream says to herself as she and Cheese trembled in fear. Meanwhile, with the boys, we see them running through the corridor as they tried desperately to find their friends.
"Man, finding Cream and Cheese is like looking for a needle in a haystack. How are we going to find them?" Sonic asked as Warren was about to respond when suddenly his nose twitched as he took a big sniff.
"Wait a minute...I know those scents! It's Cream and Cheese! Follow me!" Warren says, grabbing Sonic's hand as they rushed through the corridor, and made it to the door that held Cream and Cheese hostage. "They're in there!" Warren says while pointing at the door, just as the power went out, and the lights stopped functioning. "Huh? What's going on?"
"Abnormality detected in the electrical system. Abnormality detected in the electrical system." The Area 99 mainframe says.
"Does that answer your question? Come on, let's go and save Cream and Cheese while they're distracted." Sonic says as Warren nodded, and grabbed his hand as they teleported into the room.
"Ah, great!"
"Now, we can't see anything!" The researchers complained as one of them pulled out a flashlight and noticed that their test subjects were gone.
"They're gone!" The researcher with the flashlight screamed in shock as the others gasped.
"What the?!"
"How did they escaped!? The glass wasn't even broken!" Another researcher screamed, not noticing the 5 animals hiding behind a wall as Cream's face glowed with happiness at the sight of the boys.
"Warren! Sonic! You saved-"
"Shh!" The boys shushed her as Cheese chirped happily, and hugs them as they laughed.
"Over there!" A researcher screamed, hearing the boys laugh as everyone pulled out their tranquilizer guns, and aimed at the group.
"Cover your heads," Warren warns his friends as he smacked his hands together and made a blue shockwave rang out as it knocked out the researches.
"Nice on, Warren!" Cream complimented as Warren blushed at her praise, and rubs his neck nervously.
"Hey, don't mean to interrupt, but we gotta go," Sonic says as everyone nodded, and ran out of the room.
"Stay close to me, guys!" Warren says as he and his friends were running down a dark corridor, and the small bunny used his energy powers to create a small ball of light to guide the way.
"How did you guys shut off the electricity?" Cream curiously asked as the boys shrugged.
"Don't know. It kind of just happened," Sonic says as Cream smiled.
"Maybe it just happened because you boys bring good luck wherever you go!" Cream says as the boys were about to agree when suddenly the power went back on. The gang gasped in horror as the security cameras turned on, and slowly turned to them as little guns popped out of them. "Oh, shoot! I jinxed us, didn't I?"
"This isn't your fault." Sonic dismisses as the security cameras started firing. "Warren!" Sonic screamed as Warren quickly made an energy dome around them that protected them from the laser blasts.
"Guys! Stay close to me!" Warren says as Sonic, Cream, and Cheese huddled closer to Warren, and they begin to run.
"Guys, what's going on?! Are you and your friends, alright?!" Chris asked as a laser blast narrowly hits Warren's tail.
"Kind of busy right now, Christopher!" Warren says through gritted teeth as it was hard to run and shield his friends from gunfire at the same time. "Sonic! Takedown the cameras!" Warren shouted as Sonic nodded, and ran out of cover as he jumps onto a laser camera, and used it to shoot down the other laser cameras.
"Keep running!" Sonic ordered as Warren nodded.
"Right!" Warren says as he lowers down his shield, and grabbed Cream bridal style, causing her to squeak in surprise as he continued running.
"D2 area lockdown in progress." The Area 99 mainframe says as the doors were closing one by one.
"The door! We can't make it out!" Cream yells as Warren's eyes glowed blue.
"Like heck, we aren't!" Warren says as he raised his hand, and fired a blue beam that destroyed the doors as they ran through the hole, and saw more security cameras waiting for them. "Oh, come on! There's more?! Give us a break!" Warren says, annoyed as he puts Cream down, and Sonic appeared.
"Stay back! I will handle this." Sonic says as he was about to attack the cameras, but Cream stops him.
"Wait, what's that?" Cream asked while pointing as the boys looked ahead, and saw paper airplanes knocking out the security cameras, much to the kid's confusion. "I don't understand. What's going on?" Cream asked as Warren shrugs.
"Don't know, don't care. Let's get out of here before something else happens." Warren says as they nodded, and ran off.
"Facility lockdown in progress. Facility lockdown in progress. Facility lockdown in progress." The Area 99 mainframe says as the power went out again, and the security cameras went haywire as they started blasting everything in sight.
"Warren, Sonic, are we going to make it out?" Cream asked her friends worriedly while running up a staircase as the boys gave her reassuring looks.
"Don't worry, we'll make it!" Sonic says while dodging a laser blast.
"Yeah, have some faith in your friends. Have we ever let you down?" Warren asked with a wink as Cream blushed.
"I guess not." Cream shyly says just as a laser security camera destroys the staircase that she was standing on. The small bunny girl screamed as she was about to fall to her death when suddenly Warren appeared as he grabbed Cream by her hand and hoist her up as she smiled at him gratefully. Smiling back, Warren grabs Cream bridal style again as he took off into the air, and flew them all the way to the top of the staircase as Sonic followed after them. While jumping from one broken staircase to another as they all reached the top.
"See Cream, I told you we've made it out, and we did! You didn't doubt us, did ya?" Sonic asked with a wink as Cream smiled, and shakes her head.
"Thanks for saving us!"
"Ah, anytime, Cream," Sonic says as Cream turned to Warren.
"And, thanks for catching me." Cream says as Warren smiled.
"You're welcome. I will never let you fall, Cream," Warren says as Cream smiled at him lovingly before noticing that he was still holding her bridal style as she blushed.
"Uh, Warren? You can put me down now." She says as Warren noticed the position that there were in, and blushed.
"Oh, sorry," Warren says, putting her down as Cream was about to wave it off when suddenly they're ears perked up as a familiar sound was heard outside. "Huh, what's that?"
"Sounds like a plane," Sonic says as he takes off his Infrared Scope, and pressed his ear against the wall. "It sounds like...the Tornado!" Sonic says as Warren, Cream, and Cheese smiled.
"Then, that means Tails is nearby!" Warren says as Sonic took a few steps back, before curling up into a ball as he spins dashed through the wall, and made it outside as he saw his friend Tails flying nearby in his bi-plane.
"Hey, Tails!" Sonic yelled, gaining the fox's attention as Tails flies closer to Sonic, and the small hedgehog landed on his plane.
"Ha, ha, good to see you, Sonic!" Tails yells just as Warren flew out of the base while carrying Cream and Cheese as they were all happy to see their friend.
"Tails!" Warren shouted as he and the others landed on the plane, and Cream smiled at the young fox.
"It was you! You're the one who helped us get out of there!" Cream says as Tails winks.
"I helped, but Sonic and Warren are the real heroes." Tails says as Warren shakes his head.
"Nah, man. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have been able to grab Cream and Cheese or escape the security cameras. You're just as much as a hero as we are." Warren says as Tails blushed at the compliment, but smiled nonetheless as he steers the Tornado away, flying past Chuck and Chris, who looked on with excitement.
"Well, Chris, mission accomplished! Let's head for home!" Chuck says as he started up the car, and they drove off.
Back at Chris's mansion, we see the gang parking the plane in the garage as Chris and Chuck appeared, and they decided to introduce themselves.
"My name's Christopher. Sonic and Warren landed in our swimming pool last night, and I dove in and saved them." Chris says, introducing him to Sonic's friends as they smiled.
"My name's Tails and I'm Sonic's very best buddy! Right, Sonic?" Tails asked as Sonic smirked.
"Correct," Sonic says while rubbing his nose.
"My name is Cream, and this is my special Chao friend, Cheese." Cream says, introducing herself and Cheese to Chris. "I'm Warren's best friend. Right, Warren?" Cream asked while smiling at him cutely as Warren nodded.
"Of course," Warren says as Chris smiled.
"Well, with how worried he was about you, it only makes sense that you guys are close," Chris says as Cream tilted her head curiously, and Warren stiffened. "When we saw you guys on the news, Warren was really determined to save you guys. He was even thinking of blowing up the base if they did anything to you guys." Chris says as Cream blinks in surprise.
"He was that worried?" Cream asked as Sonic chuckled.
"You don't know the half of it, Cream. The minute we saw you on TV, Warren wouldn't stop crying, 'Oh no, my little Cream is in danger! They're hurting my little Cream! We need to go and save my cute girlfriend before anything bad happens to her!'." Sonic says, mimicking Warren's voice as the small bunny's face grew red with anger/embarrassment.
"I did not say any of that!" Warren screamed.
"Well, you did say that nobody hurts my little Cream," Chris added in as Warren glares at him.
"Shut up!" Warren screamed as the boys laughed, and Cream turned to Warren.
"So...my Cream, huh?" Cream asked, teased him a bit as he covers his face, and groans as she giggled. "It's okay, Warren. Honestly, I'm touched that you care about me so much." Cream says as Warren uncovered his face, and turned to her.
"Well, you're my best friend, Cream, so of course I care about you. You're really important to me, Cream. I won't let anything happen to you." Warren says as Cream smiled, and kissed his cheek.
"That was for saving me, and being a good friend." Cream says as Warren blushed heavily and had a dopey smile on his face.
"Extraordinary," Chuck says, staring at the device that Tails built. "Tiny, radio-controlled airplanes. Extraordinary." Chuck says as Tails smirked proudly.
"We got lots of unique gadgets." Tails said while rubbing his nose as Chris turned to Sonic and Warren.
"Listen, guys! This isn't some game we're playing, you know. You could've all of us thrown in jail!" Chris says, reprimanding them for their behavior...even though he didn't do jack shit, and have no right to criticize them, but I digress.
"Maybe, we could've, but we didn't do we?" Sonic says as Warren snapped out of his daydream, and turned to Chris.
"And, besides, not only did we saved Cream and Cheese, but now we have Tails with us, so I can safely say that this was a successful mission," Warren says as Sonic nodded.
"It sure was, little buddy," Sonic says while placing his arm around his shoulder as Chris groans.
"Couldn't you two try to be more careful?" Chris asked as the boys stared at him for a few seconds before laughing.
"Us being careful? Yeah, that's not really our style. Right, little buddy?" Sonic asked as Warren nodded.
"Totally!" Warren says as he and Sonic shared a high-five and Chris and Cream sweatdropped.
"I'm thinking that Sonic is a bad influence on Warren." Chris deduced.
"Indeed. Warren was far less reckless before he met Sonic." Cream says.
"Chao-Chao!" Cheese says, agreeing with his friend.
"This is an amazing piece of equipment. It goes beyond anything I have seen. How did you develop it?" Chuck asked Tails.
"It's nothing special. Not in the world we come from."
"And where is exactly that world, Tails?" He asked as Tails shrugged.
"Beats me, but I think we got here through a warp in time and space."
"Hmm, very interesting...not very useful, but interesting," Chuck comments as Tails had a brainfart.
"I just thought of something." Tails said as everyone turned to him. "If me, Sonic, Warren, Cream, and Cheese were warped here, then maybe the others are here too!"
"You might be right about that, Tails, and if you are, then that means..." Sonic says as an image of Eggman appeared on their minds, and they gasped.
"EGGMAN'S HERE TOO!" Warren and the others yelled in unison as we cue to a deserted island, where we see E-33 Buballs robots surrounding Eggman's fortress, which was located in the cliffside of the island.
"So, we were transported into this world by Chaos Control." Dr. Eggman says while sitting in his chair in the main room with his minions as he grins darkly. "Very well then, I will rebuild the foundation of the Eggman Empire here, and soon I will rule the entire universe!" Dr. Eggman says before laughing evilly as soon this planet, plus many others will fall to his grasp.
