Shoot, I forgot to do the disclaimer last time, but you probably already knew. Here's chapter two!
Jack's POV
I flew back to the North Pole, still thinking about the 'incident'. Who is he, really? How can he see me? Why is he silver? My thoughts were interrupted when something big hugged me. "Gah!" I squeaked, which wasn't very Guardian like. "North! Watch the ribs, the ribs." He released me, and observed me with his light blue eyes.
"You are soaking wet," he noted. "Why is that?" I opened my mouth to answer, when Bunny called for us to come over. I followed North to the Globe Room, and Man in the Moon was shining down.
"Manny has a message for us," Tooth said a little eagerly. Manny's moon light made the shadow of an all too familiar enemy.
'Pitch?' Sandy asked using his sand to form symbols. 'He is coming back?' Manny showed us figures of people, one of them being Zane.
"Oh, no," I muttered to myself. "Not him." Then, he showed us two people, a boy, and a girl. The boy had hair that curled around his ears, and a smile that said, 'Hey, I'm going to do something crazy!'. He wore a simple t-shirt with an oversized camouflage jacket. The girl seemed more serious. She had her hair braided down her back, and it reached her waist. She looked as if he had nearly forgotten how to smile. She had fingerless gloves, and a simple blouse with the sleeves rolled up and strings with balls at the end trailing down from the hem of her blouse. She wore leggings, and both wore very worn out sneakers.
"New Guardians?" North asked. He observed the light. "Not Guardians, allies." Manny disappeared once more.
"Frostbite," Bunny demanded. "Why are ya soaking wet, and what do you mean by, 'Not him'?" I laughed nervously.
"It's a pretty funny story," I said before I began.
Zane's POV
After we went back to the monastery, I went to the local library (Under cover) and read every book I could find about myths and Jack Frost. After a few hours, I gave up, as none of the books said anything about him. I headed back to the monastery. Strange I thought. He claims that in order to see him, I must believe in him, yet I have never heard of him before today. Sensei Wu and everyone else was waiting for me.
"Zane," Sensei said calmly, but he sounded a bit worried. "Your friends have informed me that you have been talking to someone who is not there."
"He was there," I insisted angrily. "If you don't believe me, you can check my memory." Uncomfortable silence.
"Okay," Jay said. "It wouldn't hurt to try." Everyone muttered in agreement. We went to Nya's workshop(?) and plugged my memories into the computer.
Who are you? I asked as the memory flickered to life. Jack's mouth dropped open.
You can see me? he asked in disbelief.
Of course I replied. Can-
Zane Kai interrupted. No one's there.
But he is right behind you, Kai I insisted. Who are you?
I'm Jack Frost Jack said as he flew away. Guardian of Fun, spirit of winter. I turned back to my friends, whose faces have gone rather pale. Sensei was the only one who tried to conceal his shock.
"Now do you believe me?" I said. It came out harsher than I meant it to.
"Jack Frost," Jay peeped in a shrill voice, much higher than normal. "The myth?" A thump could be heard from the roof.
"Now what?" Lloyd groaned. We rushed outside, and I couldn't believe my eyes. There was a large sled, and out hopped a gray anthropomorphic bunny and a large man. From the sky flew down a fairy and Jack Frost.
"Jack?" I tilted my head. "Who are these people, and why are you here?" Jack turned to his friends.
"See? I told you!" he said, a bit proudly.
"Zane," Jay said slowly, staring about three feet away from Jack and his friends. "What's going on?"
"Wait," Jack said as he blew some snow to my friends. A snowflake landed on each of their noses, they blinked. They looked up at them in awe.
"Oh," Cole whispered.
"Hi there!" the fairy chirped cheerfully. "I'm Tooth, or Tooth Fairy, and this is Sandy, or Sand man, and Bunny, or Easter Bunny, and North, or Santa Claus." She eyed Jack. "And you've probably met Jack already."
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Man in the Moon sent us," Jack said before changing topics. "We need to talk."
