First bit comes from "An Unexpected Visitor" by yours truly.

"I love you, Remus, and I know you love me too."

"I…Dora…Yes, I love you, but you can't—"

"I've come prepared. My dear cousin has instructed me on all the ways you push people away, so let's see here…So, you'll tell me I deserve someone better—that's just untrue. You are the best. I'm not going to find someone better. Right, then you'd tell me I should be more selfish. Well, that's just rubbish—it's selfish of me to take you off the market. You're an eligible bachelor—"

"Eligible bachelor…sure. Alright, go on."

"Well, next you're going to tell me that I don't want you—also untrue, and how rude! I think I would know what I want. I do want you—I want your scars, I want to be in your life, I want to be with you for everything—"

"—you can't—"

"I will. You've got the potion now—"

"And what, you want to hang out with a wolf?"

"I want to be with you. Which, then gets to the next point on this list…we don't need to figure out our lives. We have them, they are moving in the same direction. That was the only real excuse you ever had, and it doesn't work here. Remus? What are you—"

"If you truly want me, I will have you. But I wouldn't blame you if…you know…"

"Remus, you are so thick sometimes."

That had been last week. This morning, the conversation felt like it had taken place ages ago. As soon as the sun crept into his room, Remus' eyes fluttered open. Something was wrong—he was being watched. He jolted upright and turned to his right to see…Tonks? His eyes widened, heart racing.

"Wotcher, Remus," she chuckled, running her fingers—how did they get there?—down his chest and over to his—

"Dora!" he whisper-shouted, scooting away from her hand. "What are you doing here? You can't be—"

"I popped in for a visit," she said simply. "You're adorable when you sleep, and you whimper like a little puppy," she smirked. Remus flushed red, leading Tonks to chuckle. "Oh relax, Remus, no one is awake—I wasn't seen."

Remus' heartbeat slowed—but only slightly. He was still red in the face.

"You could have been," he whispered. "And what would people say?"

"People?" Asked Tonks, rolling her eyes. "Merlin, I don't care about people—I care about you. What do you have to say?" she asked, a single brow raising. Remus met her gaze and sighed.

"Bloody terrified—I'm not used to waking up to someone watching me. Let alone you, and I'm not wearing any pants," he stressed. "I'm not decent—wasn't expecting company—"

"That's the point, Lupin!" Tonks joked. "If I had wanted to see you with pants, I would've met with you downstairs," she giggled. "Speaking of downstairs, has anyone ever told you—"

"Yes," Remus hissed. "I know. It's not a big deal—"

"Oh I'd say it is a big deal—"

"Dora!" Remus yelped, feeling her fingers…approaching. "No, what are you doing?" He asked. Tonks narrowed her eyes.

"What do you think—I'm trying to help a little situation you've got going on, you git," she chuckled. "Now, if you'd let me—"

"Dora," Remus pleaded. "I…not like this."

Tonks paused, and pursed her lips. "Am I doing something wrong?" She asked. Remus' eyed grew wide and he shook his head.

"Merlin, no, I feel like a twat for trying to stop you…it's just…" He sighed. "I wanted to make the first…you know…funny move. This whole time it's been you trying to get me to come out with it—just this once, I wanted to show you that I love you—it's not just you who loves me," he explained.

Dora smiled, then rolled her eyes. "Remus, I know that you love me. You haven't kicked me out of your bed! That's huge improvement—remember Wednesday?"

The werewolf shuddered. She had cornered him.

"This is you coming onto me. You've just got a different way of going about it—"

"This isn't me coming onto you," he said seriously. "That's what I'm trying to say—I actually can be somewhat seductive at times." Tonks laughed.

"You—seductive, intentionally? Merlin, I'd like to see—"

Remus leapt from his side of the bed, coming out from under the covers in his boxers and leaning over Tonks, lips right by her ear.

"See?" He whispered softly. Dora's eyes widened. "Now, I'm hungry and in need of some coffee—if we're going to do something, we ought to get it done, yes?" He asked with a wink. Dora smiled. This was exactly what she had been looking for.

Moments later, the two members of the Order collapsed onto Remus' bed, panting. Remus looked over at Tonks with a smile as the young woman giggled.

"So all this time—"

"I'm not a prude, you know," Remus chuckled. "I still enjoy things, from time to time."

"And you enjoyed that?" Tonks asked, eyes teasing. Remus leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

"'Enjoy' doesn't being to describe it," he said kindly. Tonks flushed pink, her hair following suit. "I like it when you do that," Remus said softly, running his fingers through her bubblegum-pink hair. This, of course, prompted Tonks to change her hair to a sandy-brown color with flecks of grey. Remus jolted a bit.

"Yes, you are that grey," Tonks began, seeming to read his mind. "I don't care, you know—it's honestly a bit sexy—"

"I am not sexy," Remus huffed. "More of the 'boy you don't want next door' type," he joked. Tonks rolled her eyes and laughed.

"You would say that. Now, come on," she said, patting his belly. "You wanted food, yes? And coffee?"

The two began to get dressed: Remus sneaking looks at Tonks, thought he supposed he didn't have to do that anymore, and Tonks making fun of him for feeling the need to try and be so secret. Remus, in turn, felt Tonks' gaze upon him—he couldn't help but think she was looking at his scars. She had seen them before, but it felt different this time—he wasn't healing, this was as good as he was ever going to look. He just hoped it was enough.

After getting dressed, Remus peered out his bedroom door, giving Tonks the all clear. First, she bolted out, pretending she had come from her own room.

"Morning, Molly," she said as she descended the stairs. Remus waited a moment before coming down himself, pretending to yawn.

"Morning Molly, Sirius," he began, giving his friend a sort of wink, which was met by a smile. "How are you this morning?"

"Fine, dear," Molly began, giving him a smile. "I see you and Tonks are up rather early—don't you both get off today?"

Sirius broke into a laugh and Remus glared at him. Even Tonks chuckled a bit, earning herself a glare as well.

"What are you—" Molly cut herself off. "Oh, Merlin—your heads are all in the gutter. How anything gets done around here is beyond me—"

"Oh, I think plenty gets done," Sirius chuckled. Remus sighed. "Productive morning, I see."

"Padfoot," Remus began testily, "Don't—"

"Your face is as pink as my cousin's hair!" Sirius laughed. "Don't you think I know what it looks like when you've had a good shag—"

"Sirius Black!" Molly quipped. "There are children in this house who do not need to hear your muck stories," she insisted, giving Remus a smile. "About time, you know. The three of us have been gossiping for weeks—"

"Molly!" Remus exclaimed; eyes wide. "Weeks?" Tonks grinned.

"I'm not one for secrets, Moony," she said, using his old nickname. "We're all adults here, aren't we? The kids are all hiding upstairs and it's just us during the day—I get bored."

"Won't get bored anymore," Sirius mumbled. He half expected Remus to shoot him yet another near-deadly glare, but the werewolf simply smiled.

"Alright…but no escapades talk," Remus insisted. "I still have to make eye contact with you lot and there are children here—former students of mine. I don't need them knowing the ins and outs of my life."

"But the in and out is the best part, Moony," Sirius mock complained, earning himself a whack on the head from Tonks.

"You had your chance," she snapped. "Mine, cousin."

Remus simply smiled. She had called him mine.
