Chapter 2
Izuku just couldn't believe what was happening to an absolute nobody like him. This group had apparently been following him for quite a while and probably had a plethora of information on both him and his mom which is clearly being used to sway his decision on whether to join 'The League of Villains'. Well, it was fruitless, he had already signed his fate.
"I… I will join but I still don't understand what I will be able to do for your group. Can I… Um… go home to talk to my mom about this and the other options you gave because I don't think I'll be able to make up my mind on them on my own?"
Midoriya didn't know how much he would be allowed to tell his mom about his plan but it would benefit if he was able to be schooled there as he could find out how they work and have more time to gather incriminating information on them.
Once again, the rasping voice cut off his inner ramblings. "Of course you may, be here the same time tomorrow to inform me of any decisions made and we will work from there. Goodbye for now young Midoriya."
The figure still hidden by the countless shadows went to turn and take his leave before the innocent voice of a child called out to him making him pause and wonder just how attentive this child really was. It would either get him killed or save the League from certain doom.
"You didn't answer one of my other questions, I mean, it's not fair if you know all this information about me when I don't even know your name." Izuku thought he had a compelling argument and it wasn't as if the cryptic man had to answer him, but a response would aid him in his plan as he would have names to go with quirks and crimes if they were needed.
"Hmm… Well remembered young Midoriya, My Villain name is All For One, but members of the League call me Sensei."
Standing in the same spot, gobsmacked, would do nothing to help Izuku so he pivoted and began a steady walk home while going over everything that he had learned in his mind. He would have to tell his mom what was going on, even if it was a small amount of information, this wasn't something that he could hide from her. She would probably insist on going to meet All For One with him tomorrow and he couldn't really deny her as she would probably have questions for him too. He just hoped that she would at least try to understand and support him in this decision.
Just as he was beginning to panic in his musings, Izuku heard a booming voice from behind him that was obviously a stark contrast to the grave voice of the previous visitor and one he had the pleasure of hearing before. The owner of the voice was none other than the Pro Hero All Might.
"Midoriya, my boy! I have finally caught up to you!" That was all he was able to get out in his All Might form before he coughed blood and shrunk in a cloud of steam. "Sorry about that but I'm glad I caught you, I have a proposition to offer you but I first need to ask you a question. Do you still want to become a hero?"
Izuku couldn't believe this chain of events happening to him right now, first a proposition from All For One and now All Might. It would only be right to listen to what he has to say, even if he might not accept. But even he had to admit that the question he was being asked was strange coming from the very person who told him that he couldn't be a hero and to give up on his dreams.
"Of course I still want to become a hero but you were the one who told me to be more realistic with my future. Why come and find me to ask me this when you told me to focus on a safer future?" Confusion and bewilderment didn't even begin to scratch the surface of what Izuku was feeling, it was almost as if The Number One Hero was trying to toy with his emotions. He knew he shouldn't jump to rash conclusions but it was the only one he had.
"Well, when you witnessed someone in danger, your legs just moved on their own, right?" At Izuku's confirming nod, All Might continued, "That is what it takes to be a hero, many heroes do what they do for the fame or the money, not for the righteous and heroic ones that you clearly do. I wanted to know if you still had the dream of becoming a hero because I can help you to get there! My quirk is something called One For All…"
As All Might was explaining his quirk and his true reason for talking to Midoriya, the boy in question was trying his hardest to process everything that had happened in such a small amount of time. He had just been approached by All For One after being told that he couldn't be a hero by his hero. He agreed to join the League Of Villains. The same hero who told him to give up is telling him he can be a hero because of the stupid act of saving Kacchan. He now knows the truth about All Might's quirk. WOW. Izuku will need to process this fully when he gets home and discuss it with his mom.
Only snapping out of his mental retreat long enough to hear, "Young Midoriya, you too can become a hero!", promptly sent Izuku back into his spiralling thoughts once more.
