Ling is deaf and uses sign language in this universe.

I don't own Mulan and/or the characters.

But i do own Lottie aka Ling's little sister.

Lottie is short for Charlotte.

Story Plot: When Ling arrives at camp everyone incuding Shang there make fun of him except for one person Mulan/Ping. Ling is gald that Mulan/Ping dosen't make fun of him for being deaf. Mulan/Ping stands up for Ling when he's getting teased, picked on, bullied, and even comforts him when he's getting made fun of. Ling even teaches Mulan/Ping sign language and soon both of them develop romantic feelings for each other.

Authors Note: BTW i always write from the characters Point Of View.

The P.O.V changes alot, first from one character and than the other character.

Chapter 2 Flashbacks!

Ling's P.O.V

i woke up while yawning stretching my arms. I sat up on my sleeping mat as i rubbed the sleep from my eyes, then i changed into my light-yellow training uniform. I walked out of my tent while putting the clipboard in my shash that was tied around my waist. ("I hope that Lottie didn't have any nightmeres last night?") I thought to myself while walking to the dining tent. ("Ever sense she was 2 years old Lottie has been having horrible nightmares, every single night she always runs into my room.") I thought to myself again while sitting down at a table to eat my breakfast.

I was sound asleep until i someone lightly tugging at the sleeve of my night-gown. I light lit the candle that was on night-stand, i let my eyes adjust to the bright candle light. I saw Lottie sitting on my bed looking at me while her eyes watered up. "What's the matter Lottie?" I asked while sitting up on my bed. "I...i had a nightmare." Lottie replied before hugging tightly on her doll and tears streaming down her face. "What was your nightmare about?" I asked after i pulled Lottie in for a hug and gently rubbing her back. "M..my *cry* nightmare was about me *cry* being chased by a scary monster..." Lottie replied crying and pausing between her words while hugging me back. "Can i please stay in your room for the rest of the night?" Lottie asked while getting under the blankets with me. "Of course you can." I replied before blowing out my candle and going back to sleep.

Ling's P.O.V

I still remember when i gave Lottie a chinese eagle for a pet she even named her eagle phoenix.

I walked in the petstore looking for a pet for Lottie. "Excuse me ma'am but i'm trying to find the perfect pet for my little sister." I said while female employee started to look. I looked around too until i saw a eagle.

"You can uncover your eyes now." I said while holding the eagle with my left hand. "Lottie this is your new pet." I said before grabbing a black glove and handing it to Lottie. She quickly put it on and held her new pet eagle. "What are you going to name her?" I asked before i rubbed my chin with my right hand. "I'll name her Phoenix, Fenai for her nick-name!" Lottie answered back while grinning ear to ear.
