Prologue: *name*

A brown she-cat padded through a forest, the grass under her paws was lush and green, the sky above the trees was littered with stars. The she-cat stepped into a clearing, a star-filled, crystal pool laying in the middle. Four cats sat around the pool, one was a dark grey she-cat with a flattened face, another was a blue-grey she-cat, another was a flame-coloured tom and the last one was a black she-cat with short whiskers. "Who invited her?" The blue-grey she-cat grumbled as she glared at the brown, she-cat, "I invited her because she was alive in the current clans." The black she-cat snapped, then bowed her head to the brown she-cat, who padded over to the other she-cat. "Bluestar, it'll be alright. Maybe she knows a little more about the current clans than us." The flame-coloured tom meowed to Bluestar, who continued to glare at the brown she-cat, "I know more than the rest of you." She murmured, then looked over to the dark grey she-cat, "can we start this already?" The other cat nodded, "we must give powers to another cat who shall save these clans."
"What's wrong with them now? Didn't we already give the clans cats with powers? Why should we give them another one?" The flame-coloured tom asked, "because they are growing weak once more. You should know what happens when a clan becomes weak Firestar."
"I do Yellowfang, but are you sure about what you are saying?" The dark grey she-cat nodded, "of course I am." Yellowfang turned her attention over to the black she-cat, "do you agree with what I am doing?"
"I do."
"I don't know what's going to happen, but I trust Shortstar's decision making skills, so I will say the same as her." The brown she-cat meowed, "thank you Falconfeather." Shortstar smiled to the other she-cat, "you're welcome." Falconfeather smiled back. "Bluestar?"
"It sounds like a horrible idea, but you seem to make these things work every time, so I will give you permission to do it." Bluestar meowed, flicking her tail. Yellowfang nodded, "alright, I shall tell the cat." The dark grey she-cat faded away, leaving the four others to sit silently around the pool. "I should get going." Falconfeather mewed, padding away, "yeah, me too." Shortstar nodded her head, running away. Firestar got up himself, "I should be leaving." He bowed his head to Bluestar, then padded away. "Like you have anything to do!" The blue-grey she-cat spat, then stood up, she padded off into the forest like the others.

Yellowfang reformed in a small meadow, small patches of flowers littering it. The sun was shining brightly above her, and no shadows seemed to even touch the land. Then she spotted a small kit, cream with a dark ginger mask, ears and tail with a pale muzzle and paws. The she-kit was playing in a patch of flowers, until she noticed the dark grey she-cat, "hello young one." Yellowfang meowed as she padded over to the kit, "who are you?" The kit mewed, "that isn't important, I came to tell you something important." The kit stared at her, "is it good?"
"Of course it is." It was always harder to give prophecies to kits, but somehow Yellowfang was able to do it, she never knew how she did it, but she was able to do it. "You have been gifted special powers that no other cat has, this power is to have the intelligence of every single cat combined. You learn incredibly fast and are able to solve problems swiftly."
"That power sounds lame."
"It may sound lame, but you could help save the clans." The kit's golden eyes started to shine, "how could I help save the clans?"
"By using your powers. But there is one thing you cannot do; you mustn't tell any cat about these powers."
"Why?"
"They would think less of you." She looked at the kit, "it may sound mean, but listen to me, you are a gifted cat, and you cannot let evil control you." The kit slowly nodded, Yellowfang took this as her queue to leave. She started to fade from the meadow, then reformed back in the starlit forest. She had given out the prophecy, now all she had to do was wait. This cat was the first cat not to be directly led by Starclan, like most prophesied cat, but Yellowfang new the kit would turn out good, just like the others, she was destined to save the clans, and evil would be unable to affect her.

Here we go, prologue of Driftpaw's Rage is now complete! I'm thinking of making a schedule for uploading, maybe once or twice a week (I'll put it into effect next week).
This novella will have a lot more death than the last one, so I'm warning you here just in case you aren't into that. I don't want any younger children to read this and get effected by dead cats, as I don't like it when that happens to me, so I don't want it to happen to others.
Anyways, have a nice day, I hope you stay safe and well!
