Sophia, I am working on a couple of things for you with the couples you gave me so bear with me while I work with the things I have semi-written in the past few days... but in the meantime I hope you all enjoy my next One-Shot!

Prompt: "He Went Off Script!"

AJ Lee/CM Punk. (punkleefan you will be happy)

He's watching a monitor backstage in the men's locker room area like he does most weeks with some of his fellow superstars who happened to be loitering around after hearing John Cena's entrance music, most of them thinking what did this guy have to say now?

It wasn't that he didn't like John, he did kind of, not that he'd ever say it, he had respect for John boy, but all he does is go out there every week and lower himself to these people by pandering to them, doesn't John know he is better than that? He wonders licking his lip ring.

He's listening to John list off all the things that have happened in the WWE while he's been off, Punk already knew this stuff and so did the so called WWE Universe, but he only catches what John is really saying when he mentions the general manager AJ Lee and all Punk can think is what did John Cena think he was doing?

John Cena just asked AJ Lee out on live television.

Before Punk can stop himself he's out of the locker room and storming his was down the long corridor to the general manager's office not listening to the others asking him what he is doing and where he is going, when he gets there he doesn't even bother knocking like he should do.

"He went off script!" He says as the brunette looks up from her paper work to see who has just walked into her office, "That bastard went off script, did you hear him?" Punk can hear himself getting annoyed at the situation.

"Just like you did a few weeks ago.. when you told the WWE Universe about our text messages and voice mails..." Was her reply, was she being serious right now?

"That was different and you know it!" He says defending his actions.

"Why because it was the so called 'best in the world' doing it?"She asks as she stands up from her desk, clearly irritated at his interruption.

"What I said was right and it added something to our story line, I apologised afterwards, he is just trying to get in your pants" He replies his frustration building.

"So?" Is her reply, it came out too fast for his liking.

"So?" He finds himself pacing, before he looks back at her, "So? AJ is that all you are going to say.." He snarls screwing his hands up into a ball, to keep his composure.

"Punk, I don't really see how this is a concern of yours" She says in a soft tone of voice and it angers him, more than it should.

"So you are going to go out on a date with John Cena?" He asks her staring her straight in the eye as he moves forward towards her and she takes a step back away from him, is she scared of him?

"N-No!" She stammers her response as she hits the desk behind her.

"Good" He says simply.

"Good? Good? Punk is that all you are going to say..." She says mocking him from earlier.

"Yes" He says again simply.

"Why are you such a pain in my ass?" She asks, her hands in fists raising as if they are about to hit him, as her hands extend out towards him, he makes sure to grab them gently, pulling her towards him for a kiss all anger gone, he was never really angry at her, more at the golden boy John Cena.

"That's why.." He says as he steps away from her, leaving her breathless, staring at each other with lustful eyes, which is broken up by none other than John Cena who actually knocked on AJ's office door that was open.

"I hope you didn't mind me going off script out there" He says as he looks between the general manager and the WWE Champion.

"Not at all John" She replies sweetly as she sits down to regain her composure and the smirk on Punk's face echoes how she is feeling as John walks out of the office wondering what the hell he had walked in on between the two of them.
