The next day Nathan got up and rushed to school. Nathan had biology first lesson and was not looking forward to it. Brooke came up to him and walked to class with him.
"So how are you and Luke doing?" Nathan asked even if he didn't care that much about Brooke's love life, she changed a lot when her and Luke started dating. She used to be Tree Hill highs biggest slut but now she seems more sincere and humble. Everyone has slept with Brooke Davis even Nathan.
"We are great. He is an amazing guy! I don't get why you don't get along?!" She replied
"Well we don't have much in common! I guess other than basketball." Nathan replied and she shrugged and took a seat next to one of her friends while Nathan sat next to a Jake.
Luke is the type to read a book on a Saturday afternoon while Nathan rather have sex or hang out or drink. Anything fun.

Haley walked Luke to his next class as she has a free period right before lunch
"So I'm tutoring someone new today!" She stated but Principal Turner wouldn't give her the name of the student.
"Wow, that's great hales well I guess that means I won't be seeing you at lunch" he replies and she nodded
Haley headed to the tutor center to prepare tests for a couple of my students. Haley waited for the student to show and notices that they are thirty minutes late. Haley was about to get her bag and go to Principal Turner but as She turned around she saw Nathan Scott standing there. She prayed that he was not her next student!
"I guess you are my tutor." He says
She groaned in disappointment.
"Wow, hold the enthusiasm." He says sarcastically
She smirked and rolled her eyes.
"I am not tutoring you." She stated.
"You have to. Please. I really need it." He pleaded. She felt sorry for him but she felt as if she would betray Lucas if agreed to it.
"I'll find you another tutor." Haley finally said.
"There is no one else. Please if not I am off the basketball team. And that's the only thing going for me." He pleaded again.
"Ok fine,let's get started" She agreed as she sat down on one of the tables.
"Don't I get a name?" He asked
"Haley"she replied
"Great, well I'm Nathan. But you probably already knew that but I don't think I've seen you before. So this is how it's going to work. You are going to pretend that I am getting tutored so I can have lunch with my friends and still get to play basketball." He says and Haley looked at him in shock! How can he be this self absorbed. And what about what he just said before.
"Ok, here is the thing. You just begged me to become your tutor and now you are acting like a jackass.
Now you can work your whole 'I'm Nathan Scott Mr big shot. Scoring my touchdowns' on someone else. Because unlike other people I won't give into any of your bs. Now I am not going to force you to come but if you want to stay on the basketball team you better consider my help. We will meet here during lunch and anytime that you or I have. Got it." She said sternly.
"Urgh whatever. Where do we start?" Nathan asked
"You didn't complete the English essay. We can start with that." She replied
"I don't even know what is was about."
"You have to write about someone in your family. Extended or close you can chose." Haley said
"Fine I'll write about my sister."
"Ok, well according to you what's your sister like."
"Well she is very down to earth and loves music and art. She has a vinyl collection. She is sweet but is very sarcastic and can be bit dramatic. She is also on cheerleading team and loves a good party and loves to babysit. She is friendly with everyone I guess."
"Ok, great. How is your relationship between you both?" She asked
"Well we are twins so are very close and we have the same friend group and our parents aren't around so much so we take care of each other. I mean you could say we are best friends ish I mean for siblings we are close. We do argue a lot though but I guess that's normal."
"It is I have three sisters and we argue all the time except for the oldest. We are really close."
"Wow I would not want to live with three girls I mean Peyton already takes long getting ready but three of them. That's too much."
"Yeah Well I mean I love big families. Anyway back on topic, describe her physically." Haley stated but got back to topic as she wanted to socialize as little to him.
"She is tall 5 foot 8 or 9 I am not exactly sure and has blond curly hair, green eyes, slim figure, long hands, I don't know!" He says
"Ok and lastly tell me how you guys are different and similar." She asked
He mentions a list of things like how she loves music and he doesn't know anything and you how they look nothing alike. While he was talking I couldn't help but stare into those beautiful blue eyes, I could get lost in them and never come back.
"Don't worry that's fine just write what you just told me and write it down or type it and email it to me when you are done so I can do corrections." I say and he nods
"Thank you Haley for giving me a chance. Just don't tell anyone about my tutoring." He said and she saw in his eyes that he actually meant it.
"No problem and don't worry who would I tell anyway." Haley replied even though he didn't know that she was close to Luke. She wasn't going to tell him but she didn't want to lie either.
After school she went to go to her shift at Karen's cafe since it wouldn't hurt to get a little extra cash and save some money for university.

They met three times a week at lunch and one day after school when they both had a free period.

It's been three weeks since Haley started tutoring Nathan. 'She had the most beautiful eyes. Those deep brown sparkly eyes. What I shouldn't be thinking about that. I never call anyone beautiful because I don't think of girls as beautiful but it was the truth not that I was ever going to admit it. I mean I would sleep with her but it would be just that. But she was too delicate and to pure just to sleep with.' He thought. But shook those thoughts away.
"Hey Haley."
"Hey Nathan. Are you ready to take on calculus" She asked with a huge grin on her face and holding a huge calculus text book. Nathan chuckled and she she slapped him on the chest. It didn't hurt but he thought it was cute.
"Come on why don't we have fun."
"I'm sorry what? I'm here to tutor you Nathan not to have fun. You do that every weekend at your beach house." Haley said without thinking
"How would you know that you've never been invited. Oh I see. You are stalking me now. Because I'm too hot. Isn't that right Hales." He said and Haley got up from her chair and was about to leave.
"Where are you going?" He asked
"Out of this room because there isn't enough room with your big ego."She said jokingly. But then returned to her seat.
"No I just happen to be friends with someone who goes to your parties." She replied to Nathan's previous question
"Really now who would that be." Nathan asked curiously because he don't see her hanging around Nathans crowd. She is too independent and mature and self preserved to go to parties in his opinion.
"Lucas scott." She responded and Nathan looked at her shocked but then remind myself that he had seen them talking a couple times.
"Really?" He asked
"Yeah in fact he is my best friend. Let's just drop it and get to work because I also have work I need to do." She said and handed him some work to do. He saw her doing some of her own work and stared at her for a bit. "I think I am starting to like her" he said inside his head but he shake that thought away and continue working.

Haley then look at Nathan and thinks about how cute he looks when he concentrates and shakes the thought away. ' I seriously can't be thinking about him especially since he would never truly like me and would use me and toss me to the side when he was finished with me' she thought and she would not let her self be treated like that.

During basketball practice Nathan couldn't stop thinking about Haley. She was constantly on his mind.
He missed three baskets because of her and that is not hum. He never miss any baskets especially during free throws. His father would make him stay up till 3 am just he could do thirty free throws in a row.

He got home and did homework and he saw Peyton come into his room.
"Nathan Scott doing homework. Never seen that in my life. Which girl are you pinning for now?" She asked
"Haha very funny but no one, ok, so just drop it." Nathan snapped, she raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Everyone is getting suspicious of why you aren't joining us for lunch anymore are sure you don't want to tell them. It's ok we know you're dumb." She said. Nathan had told her that hehad a tutor and made her promise not to tell and he knew that she wouldn't.
"Just let them keep guessing and that was mean." Nathan said sounding fake hurt.
"Anyway I am going out with Brooke. Bye." She said and waved goodbye and left.

Nathan was laying in bed still thinking about Haley and Nathan was finally able to fall asleep but dreamed about Haley.

I promise the story will get more interesting but they are just starting to get to know each other. Also this will be quite similar to the real naley story for a couple of the plots however there will be less hate towards Nathan and Lucas.
