Chapter 2:

Meanwhile at the planet Sur'kesh, the Salarian homeworld.

Several ships were orbiting over Sur'esh, all apart Galactic Federation Triumvirate.

The Galactic Federation Triumvirate was the only galactic power in the galaxy that was the ruling government and established after the Soul War.

The small fleet consisted of three Endurance-class fleet carriers, five Nebula-class star destroyers, three Quarian cruisers, and several squadrons of starfighters of different designs. Aurek-class starfighters and Chela-class starfighters.

A small transport flew out of one of the Endurance fleet carriers and headed down toward the planet Sur'kesh.

On the transport was five Salarians and one of them had a different outfit on than the others, Captain Kirrahe.

Also in the transport was Aizen from the Rising Breakdown Sphere storyline.

"I must say what you told us is quite troubling. Three of our scientists spread to different corners of the galaxy can confirm there is some sort of organic anomaly coming from Dark Space surrounding our galaxy." Kirrahe said.

"The invasion is coming then." Aizen said.

"You said you had a vision of this back how long ago?" Kirrahe asked.

"One thousand and seven hundred years ago." Aizen said.

"You know when we speak to the Director of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate he might not believe what we will tell him." Kirrahe said.

"Why I will let you explain first." Aizen said.

"I have one other question, who is this with you?" Kirrahe asked looking to a female.

The female beside Aizen was Karura who's hair was back to her natural color, dark brown. Her hair was cut into a medium male's cut and still looked tomboyish as usual.

"Karura." Karura told him.

"I found Karura right where my vision during my time in the Cosmic Divine Crystalline showed me. She went into the time portal and came out a month ago on the planet Onderon." Aizen said.

"Quite amazing how luck turns out." Kirrahe said.

The shuttle landed at the capital of Sur'kesh, right at the well-secured capital building.

"Here we are." Kirrahe said.

They got out and walked behind Kirrahe and his four squadmates.

"Are these two humans the ones?" One of the guards asked.

"Yes, they are." Kirrahe said.

"Right this way." The guard said escorting them through the building.

Karura was looking around in amazement.

"A city in a jungle, how amazing." Karura said.

"You'll be seeing many mind-blowing things soon enough." Aizen said.

They walked into a well-decorated office and there was a Salarian sitting at his desk looking at them.

"This is the Director of the Federation, Jarun Tann." The guard said with a bow and left.

"Mister Aizen, I am glad to have finally met you." Jarun Tann said.

The two men shook hands and they all sat down.

"So I was given reports about some anomaly's outside of our galaxy. We have yet to know if they are hostile or not and it wouldn't be wise for us to just attack until we know more." Jarun Tann said.

"We understand." Kirrahe said.

Aizen nodded.

"I know what the vision showed me but I agree with what you are saying. We shouldn't provoke them." Aizen said.

"I'm glad you see it our way, mister Aizen. So I heard you have a plan to help us?" Jarun Tann asked.

"With your permission, I would like to use your laboratories to revive a few individuals." Aizen said.

"Well we have some things being set up for you right now although we need- what's she doing?" Jarun Tann asked looking at Karura.

Aizen looked at Karura who was touching things and opening a drawer.

"Karura." Aizen said.

"I'm listening keep talking. Just because I'm not looking doesn't mean I'm not listening sheesh. You guy's got any tapioca around here?" Karura asked.

Jarun Tann sighed looking at one of his guards.

"Can you get the lady a tapioca please." Jarun Tann asked.

The guard nodded and walked out.

"Karura sit with us please." Aizen said.

"Ugh fine." Karura said shutting the drawer and sitting down crossing her leg over the other with her arms crossed.

"Thank you." Jarun Tann said.

"Yes we could help you but it's how much credits this is going to cost is the real question." Jarun Tann said.

"I already have the equipment and an ancient artifact. The artifact, however, is used to revive abominations once practiced by the ancient sith. This device is over three thousand years old but sadly it's in poor condition. I will transfer my power to it but at a cost, I might lose my immortality granted to me by the Cosmic Divine Crystalline." Aizen said.

"You mean the Breakdown Sphere." Karura said.

"These people only know it as the Cosmic Divine Crystalline." Aizen told her.

"Breakdown Sphere sounds cooler." Karura said.

"Your friend is... anyways back to the topic at hand." Jarun Tann said.

"Agreed." Kirrahe said as Aizen nodded and Karura just shrugged.

"We have our best scientists and to help we have the power generator that you asked for but this research and machinery cost goes over fifty million credits." Jarun Tann said.

"Fifty million credits I take it is expensive?" Karura asked.

"To be honest this is cheap or we would have spent four billion credits. Aizen here said he found an artifact to help speed this up and that's why it's at the cheapest." Jarun Tann said.

"So do we have a plan?" Kirrahe asked.

"Yes, I will attempt to resurrect Serenity. Then if I still have enough reiatsu and energy left over from the Orb I will try to resurrect some more people to aid us." Aizen said.

"When do we begin?" Kirrahe asked.

Jarun Tann typed some buttons on his computer in front of him.

"The men in the lab are clearing it out and placing in the technology as we speak. It will be ready tomorrow." Jarun Tann said.

Aizen, Kirrahe and then Karura stood up.

"Thank you for your time, Director Jarun Tann." Aizen said with a bow of head.

"I hope this isn't a mistake." Jarun Tann said.

The three walked out of his office and the guard came back, handing Karura her tapioca.

Karura took a sip from the straw while looking at Aizen and Kirrahe.

"Who else you think we can bring back? Your girlfriend?" Karura said with a smirk.

Aizen was silent which confused Karura.

"Don't you want to bring her back?" Karura asked.

"I killed Jessica." Aizen said.

Kirrahe looked between the two but kept silent as they followed him to their quarters.

"Why?" Karura asked.

"For power, what else? I had to make sacrifices." Aizen said.

"If the girl died from using all three of those wishes doesn't that mean it's impossible to resurrect her?" Karura asked.

"There is one way and that would be from one who has had the orb's taint and I have had it. The only thing is it will drain nearly all of my life force and perhaps might kill me." Aizen said.

"Well great then I'm stuck here alone." Karura said.

"Ahem." Kirrahe said.

"Well, I don't know you that well, no offense." Karura said.

"Here are your quarters." Kirrahe said typing on a console beside a door having it open.

"Just two beds and a bathroom?" Karura asked.

"It's temporary if you need anything just use the console over there and we will come to give it to you." Kirrahe said.

Kirrahe waved and walked off.

Aizen sat on the bed.

Karura sat in front of him and sighed.

"Do you think Furido would be speechless if he was here?" Karura asked.

"I'm pretty sure he'd be bored like you are and want to explore." Aizen said.

The two thought over the past for a moment.

"You killed her for power." Karura brought it back up again.

"You tried to kill me for it." Aizen said.

"Yet I would have killed all of your friends and kept you alive. You are like family, I know we had our own goals but I guess fate had other plans." Karura said.

"And fate brought us here." Aizen said.

Karura pondered it.

"We should get some food and get some rest. I need to be fully prepared for tomorrow." Aizen said.

Karura noticed Aizen thinking about something.

"What is it?" Karura asked.

"For some reason, I'm having a feeling we have to go to the planet Coruscant, it's just a feeling in me. With being one with the orb I have gotten these feelings throughout time. I can't really explain it all that well." Aizen said.

"Then when we get done here we will go to that planet." Karura said.

Karura looked at the console and just started to push random buttons.

"Hold on I'll show you, damn it, you might order us something nasty." Aizen said rushing over.

Aizen explained to Karura what buttons do what and ordered themselves food.

Karura looked at him with a grin and pushed a random button again just to be an ass.
