"Believe in

Yourself and all

That you are

Know that there

Is something

Inside you that is greater than any obstacle."

-Christian D. Larson

A week had passed since Itachi arrived in Musutafu Japan.

He had quickly adjusted to the environment, it was still very strange the lacking presence of chakra in nature and in people. Without the help of the sharingan he learned about the history about this place, how quirks came to be and such history before it.

So far he learned some of the quirks of some of his classmates, especially of the ash blond quirk, who used his very often. 'He needed to control his temper if he wanted to become a hero.' Itachi thought. Soon the lunch bell rang, "Remember students, tests are starting in a few months, so we need all of you to study!" Itachi grabbed his lunch and headed out.

"Hey Itachi! Want to join us! We are gonna play basketball!" Some boy whose name Itachi already forgot called to him. " Thanks, but no thanks. Maybe another day." The boy nodded and went to join his group. What was basketball anyways, maybe some sort of activity.

Itachi continued walking in the hallway, reaching a stairway. He assumed it went to the roof since they were in the top floor. He shrugged and went up it to the roof. It was a quiet place. When he checked the door it was locked. 'Oh well. I will have to try another method.' He walked back and looked for a window to jump out. Luckily he found one not too far off. He opened it and he concentrated chakra to the souls of his feet. Sticking to the wall, he walked up it to the roof. It was okay if anyone saw him. Since he could just say his quirk was chakra. Anyways it was nobody's business what his 'quirk' was.

Arriving to the roof he was a little surprised to see Midoriya there. Itachi would've sensed him, but without Midoriya having any chakra it was impossible, maybe next time he could check with his sharingan. He jumped over the rails and softly landed on the roofs floor. He walked up to a scribbling and mumbling Midoriya.

Itachi spoke spooking Midoriya. "How did you get to the roof? The door was locked." Midoriya regained his composure, nervously he smiled to Itachi. "I asked the teacher for the keys. He knows that some our classmates aren't very fond of me. Haha" he laughed lightly, his hand rubbing at his neck. Itachi sat down. Looking out in the horizon. "Midoriya, may I ask this question." Izuku nodded, "Why does the class seem to dislike you?" Izuku stiffened up. 'If Uchiha found out, he would surely hate me!' "Um—" Izuku looked away to a spot in the ground. "Its because I have no quirk." He whispered. Itachi looked at Midoriyas pained look.

He put a hand on his back and patted it twice. "There there. Pat pat" Itachi said softly "Not having a quirk doesn't mean you can't be a hero." Midoriya looked at him, tears brimming in his eyes. "Really?" He said hopefully. Itachi smiled a small smile. Itachi looked back at the horizon. The sun was bright as ever, and the sky was cloudless. After minutes of silence he spoke again. "Back where I live," he started, "There was a boy. He was born without a quirk. But even if he didn't have a quirk. He strived to be the strongest hero in my village. He trained everyday. Each morning waking up with the sun, long runs and painful training sessions. Soon enough he became one of the most respected heros." Izuku looked at him eyes bursting with tears. "Why are you telling me this?" Midoriya whispered. Itachi looked at him in the eyes, "Well I believe you can become a hero. If you try hard. Its not all about wishing, you have to put in your part too." Izuku nodded rapidly, whipping the tears off.

Itachi stood up. Finishing his bento. He turned away walking to the edge of the roof. "Uchiha-kun," Itachi turned his head to look at Midoriya. "Thanks for telling me this." He smiled brightly at Itachi.

"You're welcome." Itachi said while he fell face first off the roof. Giving Izuku a heart-attack. "Uchiha-kun?" He ran to the edge. Looking down to see Itachi sticking to the wall. And walking to a open window. Itachi closed the window and walked back to class. The classes would resume in a few minutes, might as well take a short nap.
