Heads up. I decided to have the cause of the petrification be nanomachines based on Film Theory's video on Dr Stone.
"AAAAGH! I'M ALIVE!" Taiju Yells as he breaks free from his prison of stone.
Another statue beside him began breaking apart. "SON OF A BIIIIITCH!" Izuku yells while his Quirks show themselves. the Stone on him reforming into an amorphous mass that turned to Metal right after. It merged with Izuku through his cracks while Taiju stretches and regains his footing. Izuku had cracks on his face that had one on the right side get his eye and turn into a crescent when he closes his eye while his left eye had a crack going down his mouth. His hands naturally having a hole in the palm and backhand were much bigger. the cracks coming off it tracing a skeletal hand. the Metal filled in his hands and stayed there while Izuku shakes himself.
"God dammit all. What happened?" Izuku asks. "I think we got turned to stone." Taiju says.
"Certainly feels like it. God that feels weird." Izuku says. He looks around to see that various students had suffered the same fat as him. Izuku then noticed his repaired arms. "Well whatever turned us into stone sure did repair us. My battle scars and my bones feel like they were repaired by an expert. and I feel way stronger." Izuku says. He notice the metal in his palms was gone and his arms felt heavier. like metal was infused into his bones.
"Well what should we do for now?" Taiju asks.
"Head up the river and get something to clothe ourselves. Can't run around butt naked now can we?" Izuku smiles.
"Yeah no. not really." Taiju agrees. though he tries not to be jealous of Izuku's *Ahem* Equipment despite his more than average Equipment. But he just can't help but be jealous. (God this is so awkward to write.)
Eventually they did find some good leaves and vines to cover their shame. Though That's kinda hard to say with Izuku. (Why am I writing this!? I shouldn't feel awkward!)
But nonetheless they follow the river to see that the tree from the schoolyard has stayed. it has Grown and practically enveloped Yuziriha. Her stone body being hugged by the tree.
"I could never forget that beautiful face. even after Thousands, and thousands of years. I never..." As Taiju continued Izuku saw it. The message etched into the tree beside the still statue.
"二人の川の下流を進んでください"
He smiles knowing who wrote that as Taiju finally notices it too.
"Is it?" Taiju asks.
"It would be insulting if it ain't the guy." Izuku says. He and Taiju nod and do just that. After a good bit of trekking they find him. Senku Ishigami. Wearing a makeshift labcoat over his body and makeshift shoes.
"Well look who it is. You big oaf and even smarter oaf." Senku greets.
"AAAGH! SENKU! YOU'RE ALIVE!" "DONCT HUG ME WHILE YOUR BUTT NAKED DAMMIT!" Senku yells while trying to push Taiju back.
Senku sighs. "Its October 5th, Year 5,738. You two slept for quite a while. while I've been diligently working my tail off for the next six months."
"Woah, wait that's like..." "3700 years being a stone statue." Izuku finished.
"Yep. To keep myself sane I counted. Payed off as well. I now know that I woke myself up during the spring time. And since then I've been working on a cure to this." Senku adds.
"Of course you were. How far are you?" Izuku asks.
"Not much. I still am on clay pottery still." Senku says. "Until then I've lacked the manpower for more strength based tasks. with you guys here I can boost efficiency now." Senku says.
"Here we are. Some animal skins are over there. You can use them for making some clothes." Senku says.
"Thanks." Izuku says. He grabs a oddly green patch of skins and grabs a Bone needle and thread. He begins sewing a new set of clothes. A pair of boot like footwear, green coat, and a pair of regular colored pants.
Taiju went with a simple coat.
"Let's get started." Senku grins.
Its been weeks now since they began their work. So far they hit a rut.
"What is it Senku?" Taiju asks.
"We hit a rut. I need some liquor to make an etching agent."
"What about Wine?" Izuku suggests. "Its a type of Alcohol and can be easily made. and with enough effort we can make it much more alcoholic." He adds.
"Oh yeah. we can use the grapes I found." Taiju says while pulling out some grapes.
"Yeah. this will work." Senku grins.
The camera then focuses on the group making wine the old fashioned way. as they did Izuku made a working distillery in only a couple minutes.
"The hell? how did you do that so fast?"
"I'm Irish." Izuku says.
Senku just stares at Izuku while Taiju crushes the grapes.
they continue though and they create about 5 jars of alcohol and 2 jugs of pure Vodka thanks to Izuku.
Senku heads to the lab and makes his etching agent fluid.
He tests it on a feather and after a couple of minutes it reveals itself as a real feather.
"Alright. This Kitten I found turned to stone will serve as our first real test subject." Senku observes. He places the small kitten statue on the stump outside.
Izuku pours the liquid onto the kitty and waits.
"Lesson number one Taiju. There is no such thing that Science can't explain. we just lack the resources right now. with enough time and effort," The Statue cracks, "We can achieve amazing feats."
The Statue Cracks away to reveal the kitten was a Black cat with natural green highlights and blue eyes. It stood up and Meowed before jumping into Izuku's Hair.
Taiju couldn't help but cheer in joy.
"So, who do we revive first?" Taiju asks.
"Well it doesn't matter who we revive as long as we are reviving the whole world. But it would be pretty bad if we revived a serial killer. So I'll let you choose who." Senku grins.
Taiju gasps before nodding.
"I know exactly who." He says.
"Before we do. Let's gather more than enough Miracle fluid and hide it. We can use that as emergency stock." Izuku adds. he was manipulating an orb of floating metal. turns out the Stone healed and evolved his body to properly fit One For All. He even gained 8 new quirks. One being Metalmancy. the manipulation of any metals around him. He had just finished making knives out of a giant chunk of iron and other things.
"Sure. Let's have it be at least 2 liters. And conserve it. Then only then will we start reviving people." Senku says.
"Alright. Let's do it!" Taiju declares.
