Toad, Toadette, and Wally exited the castle beginning their perilous journey. But Toad was already unsure about this.
Toad: I know we're a prophecy and all, but I don't think we can stop the dragon with our bare hands.
Toadette: Yeah, we'll need some weapons.
Wally: Perhaps yonder blacksmith can provide some arms for your battle.
They approached a workshop where a blacksmith resembling Luigi was ironing out a sword.
Toad: Hey! Luigi! Nah, it can't be… You must be the blacksmith, aren't ya?
Blacksmith: I sure am! Welcome, brave knights. I'm sure you're here to buy some armor for your adventure.
Toadette: You bet! What do you have in stock?
Blacksmith: Hmmm, I've got just the thing for you.
As Toad was arming himself up, Toadette put on a pink suit of armor fitting for her style and a miniature sword.
Toadette: This is awesome! Hey, Toad, get out here!
Toad walks out wearing giant metal legs and wearing a big protective helmet.
Toadette: Wow, Toad, you look incredible!
Blacksmith: And now for the piece de resistance.
He takes out a large sword and bows down holding it.
Blacksmith: Your sword, brave knight. Hand-forged from anodized dragon's skin. It is truly a weapon worthy of a knight of your stature.
Toad takes it, but struggles to hold it.
Toad: A little heavy, isn't it?
Toad drops it and it barely misses the blacksmith's feet.
Blacksmith: Woah! I guess that's a little too heavy for you. Let me try to find something lighter.
The blacksmith searches through his weaponry.
Blacksmith: Unfortunately, all I have in the way of light weaponry is this butterfly net.
He gives the net to Toad, who accepts it.
Toad: Perfect!
Blacksmith: Good luck brave knights!
The knights continued their journey.
Wally: We doth have a long journey ahead of us.
Toad: It's a good thing I packed some apples in case we get hungry.
Little did they know, however, that the evil wizard, Lord Bowsamor was watching them through his assistant, Kamek's crystal ball. Bowsamor was an evil koopa resembling his descendant Bowser, only he had a white beard, and wore a black a red cloak.
Lord Bowsamor: This be-eth the legendary prophecy?! Bwahahaha!
The princess was tied up next to them.
Lord Bowsamor: Oh, that be-eth rich. 'Twould almost insult me were it not so funny.
Princess Aqua: Bowsamor, thou art cocky and overly confident with thyself. The prophecy shallst be-eth fulfilled!
Lord Bowsamor: Don't be confident with thyself, Princess. I doth knowest what I am doing. Come hither, boy!
The dragon is summoned and Bowsamor hands him a scroll.
Bowsamor: Deliver my demands onto his majesty, King Mario.
He laughs as the dragons flies away, but then coughs.
Back with the heroes, they were about to cross the bridge leading to Bowsamor's tower. But a mysterious dark knight stops them. He spoke in a deep voice.
Dark Knight: Halt! Who goes there?
Wally: *gasp* Doth my eyes betray me? 'Tis the nefarious Dark Knight!
Oh, dark knight, spare us please,
Don't cut off our heads or boil our knees.
Pray take these two and let me go free
And I will give to thee some...cheese!
Toad and Toadette: Dark Knight?!
Dark Knight: I ask you once more. Before I rip thee limb from limb, reveal thyself!
Toad and Toadette: I'm Toad, and this is my sister, Toadette. We've been sent to rescue Princess Aqua from Bowsamor.
Dark Knight: If thou wishes to get across, thou willst have-
The Dark Knight reveals herself to be female with a higher pitched voice. She looked all too familiar to Toad and Toadette.
Dark Knight: -to get through me!
Toad: *gasp* Medieval Daisy! I know how to handle this!
Toad releases out a battle cry and both charge toward each other. But Toad knocks the Dark Knight into a rock with his mushroom head.
Dark Knight: By the hammer of Odin, this be-eth a new fighting style my eyes have not yet seen.
Toad: I am bad! Oh, yeah! Woo!
Dark Knight: Doth thou tryeth to insult me? Thou willst drink from the fountain of shame!
Toad: Pffft! You don't scare me!
He was too confident however, for the Dark Knight stripped Toad of his armor and knocked him towards a rock with his arms and legs switching places.
Toad: Ha ha! Good one, Medieval Daisy! But can you handle my feet of fury?
Toad tries to attack the Dark Knight again, but this time she dodges and both get sent into a rock. The Dark Knight then pins Toad to said rock.
Dark Knight: Wouldst thou like a little rub down?
The Dark Knight rubs Toad against the rock to turn him into dust. But this makes her cough, whilst Toad turns back to normal and knocks her to the floor.
Dark Knight: You have bested me, mushroom headed knight... Strike quick and true, noble one…
Toad: I don't understand a word you just said.
He laughed for a bit before seeing the Dark Knight with X's in her eyes.
Toad: Uhh, Medieval Daisy, you don't look so good. Daisy? Daisy…?
The screen fades, when it fades back in the Dark Knight is sprayed with water, and she wakes up again.
Toad: Phew! I thought we lost you.
Dark Knight: Thou hath spared me, kind and noble one. And to thee, I owe a debt of gratitude, for I will follow you on your quest to defeat Bowsamor and learn a trifle of thy moves.
Toad: Yeah! I'm the best!
Toad accidentally punched Wally.
Wally: Ow-eth.
Back in the castle, the queen had woken up again, and the King already told her that he'd sent the heroes to save their daughter. Just then, one of the henchmen came to them.
Henchman: Your Majesty! Your Majesty! A scroll hath arrived for thee!
The King takes the scroll and reads it.
Queen Peach: What doth it say?
King Mario: Thou must hand over thy village and thy throne or thy daughter shall be dipped into a cauldron of lava?!
Both: AQUA!
The Princess is seen dangling over a cauldron full of lava at the top of Bowsamor's tower. She screams. Toad, Toadette, Wally, and the Dark Knight hear her.
Wally: That be the shriek of the fair Princess!
Hark, the Princess, she screams from the tower,
By the sound of her shrieks this is her final hour.
Dark Knight: Then time be of the essence. Doth we all remember thy plan?
Toad and Toadette were a bit hesitant.
Toadette: No, uhh, I mean yes! Yes! That's what I said, heh. Yes.
Dark Knight: Then let us forge on.
The other three shake in fear but follow her. They make their way to Bowsamor's tower. She tied them up with rope to make it look like she was capturing them. Two Koopatrols were blocking the entrance.
Dark Knight: Make way, heathens! Dark Knight coming through.
The Koopatrols block the entrance with their spears.
Koopatrols: State thy business, Dark Knight.
Dark Knight: These village idiots are conspirators against Master Bowsamor and I needeth know which form of torture thy master wishes upon these wretched fools! Do I have their limbs tied to horses and swiftly yanked apart? Rip!
The other three trembled in fear at the thought of such a thing.
Dark Knight: Or eat down at their big mushroom head little by little, taking away their every single last biting wish!
Toad and Toadette gasped in the horror at the thought and scream in terror. The Koopatrols were convinced and allowed entrance.
Koopatrol: Very well, Dark Knight. Entrance be granted.
Toad was still terrified.
Koopatrol: Halt! Make a wish!
The Koopatrol bites off a piece of Toad's mushroom cap and laughs maniacally. The heroes were now inside the tower and the Dark Knight unties Toad.
Dark Knight: Wow, goodsome thinking, Sir Toad. Posing as a frightened wee babe in ye ol' diapers did make it most believable.
Toad: Yeah, you think we fooled them?
Toad hears the scream of the Princess from upstairs.
Toad: Princess Aqua! I must fulfill the prophecy while you untie Toadette and the royal doofus.
Wally: That be-eth royal fool.
Toad runs up the spiral staircase leading up to the roof, followed by the rest of the group.
Toad: Hang in, Aqua, we're coming to rescue you!
The staircase was very long however, and the heroes were running out of breath.
Toad: We're a-comin'! *huff* *huff* Almost there. *huff* Oh, dear God!
Up on the tower's roof, Bowsamor was getting ready to boil the Princess alive.
Lord Bowsamor: Bwahahahaha! Soon, the King's village will be mine, mine, mine!
The Princess screams in terror. Luckily, Toad and the rest made it to the top of the tower just in the nick of time, though they were tired.
Toad: *huff* Unhand her, fiend!
The Princess was excited to see the chosen heroes stated in the prophecy had arrived.
Princess Aqua: The prophecy is nigh!
Toad: We're here to rescue you, Pearl. Whew! Can I get a glass of water?
Bowsamor holds out two bottles of water.
Lord Bowsamor: Sparkling or regular?
Just as Toad reached out for them, Bowsamor tosses them away.
Lord Bowsamor: PSYCHETH!
Toad: *gasp* You truly are the nastiest wizard in all of Mushroomia. Prepare to be vanquished!
Lord Bowsamor: Bring it oneth, knave.
Toad runs over to attack Bowsamor, but the evil wizard tripped Toad over with his foot and used his magic on him to keep him paralyzed.
Toad: Grr!
As Bowsamor was zapping Toad with his magic, the others were freeing the Princess. Wally and Toadette pushes the cauldron of lava away, while the Dark Knight cut off the Princesses rope.
Princess Aqua: Thank you, brave heroes!
Toadette: Don't thank us yet. Daisy, take the Princess to safety. Toad, Wally, and I will deal with Bowsamor.
The Dark Knight obeyed. Toadette ran towards Bowsamor.
Toadette: You leave my brother alone, you mean ol wizard!
Bowsamor blasted Toadette too and were ready to eliminate them, until they were suddenly zapped. Bowsamor was impressed, thinking that was his magic.
Lord Bowsamor: Wow. Huh?
Bowsamor looked up to see it was actually his Yoshi dragon who did that.
Lord Bowsamor: Yes! Yes! Sicketh them boy!
The dragon began to chase them, but Wally took action.
Wally: Perhaps a soothing limerick will calm thee.
There once was a dragon so handsome and smart,
He let me go free for he had a big heart.
Wally made the shape of a heart before the dragon zapped him.
Wally: Everyone be-eth a critic.
Then the dragon chased the two Toads to a corner where they shivered in fear.
Lord Bowsamor: Dead end for you, simpleton! Bwahahahaha!
Toad: Wait a second.
Toad uses his net to surround the dragon's face.
Toad: Wow, the boys back home will never believe this.
Toadette: Great thinking!
But the dragon burns it's way out of the net and corners the two.
Toad and Toadette: No! No! No! No!
Toad: Well, I guess this is it, sis.
Toadette: Yeah. Could we have one last snack before we go, though?
Toad: Sure.
He takes out his apples, but before they could munch on them, the dragon steals one with his tongue.
Toadette: Hey!
Toad: Patrick, look! He's eating the apple!
Toadette: Hmph! Rude!
Toad: No, Toadette, it's a good thing!
Toadette: What do you mean?
Toad: Just listen to him purr. He loves that Apple.
Bowsamor was confusing on why the dragon stopped attacking.
Lord Bowsamor: Forsooth. What be-eth going on here? DESTROY THEM! Do it now or so help me…
Toad: Umm, I'd be more than happy to give you more of these.
The Yoshi Dragon fries Bowsamor, realizing that he never fed him like Toad did.
Lord Bowsamor: Curses! You win.
To celebrate the evil wizard's defeat, Toad and a Toadette were riding Yoshis in a parade as thanks for their bravery. Wally sang one last musical number.
Wally: Hark! Ring the bell,
'Tis all ended well!
The dragon is vanquished, the princess returned,
And only a few of us got badly burned!
Princess Aqua: Here you go, good boy!
She hands an apple to the dragon, who chews it and purrs.
King Mario: I guess as long as he's well fed, he'll be our ally from now on.
Queen Peach: Mushroomia is peaceful once more!
Dark Knight: And it's all thanks to Sir Toad and Lady Toadette. Their efforts won't be forgotten.
Wally starts playing his clarinet.
Citizen #1: That horrible noise!
Citizen #2: Make it stop!
Citizen #1 throws a rock at Wally, knocking him over. Making the Yoshis go crazy and knock the two Toads into the air, and back down.
?: Hey kid, are you okay?
Toad looked up to see the Shy Guy King and Queen, seeing that he was back in the present time in Medieval Moments.
Queen: That was some fall you had.
Toad: Oh, I guess I shouldn't have agitated that Yoshi. That was some dream, huh, Toadette? Toadette?
Toadette gets up.
Toadette: Try telling that to Wally.
She reveals Wally crushed under her weight.
