Ben´s arrival

First the darkness remains but then there was light. "Hello Ben. What are you doing here? You arrived too early", it was Anakin but Ben weren't aware of it because he has never met his grandfather nor has seen him before. "Pardon me but who are you?" Anakin smiles and explains, "Right, you couldn't have known. I'm Anakin your grandfather. Nice to finally meet you, though it is not your time to be here."

Ben is dazzled, "So you are Vader", he smiles shyly, "I know I'm too early but I had to save her life. She is...she was the only person who believed in me. She was the one who brought back Ben. Where am I by the way?"

"You just entered the after-life. A place well after your life. A place that only a few can enter. Qui- Gon was the first Jedi who managed it. He showed it Yoda and Obi- Wan", Anakin answers Ben's question.

"Alright...", Ben has no idea about the identity of the persons who were mentioned.

"You don't know about whom I'm talking about, I guess. Well, never mind we have a more important problem to solve: How do we get you back?"

"You mean I can go back to Rey... How? You need to tell me. Please...", Ben demands to know.

Now Anakin smiles shyly, "That's the point. I do not know. If only Qui- Gon would be here. May he does know a way. If there is one, I'm sure he can help. I will search for him. You stay, I'll be back."

Ben now alone looks around. The after-life was, well white. His appearance was a mix between blue and white. Everything and everyone is colourless. Well, no one can say I still belong to the dark side, Ben chuckles. Why is no one here? There must be someone here. I wonder if Dad is here as well... Would be, well...very nice.

In the meantime, Anakin is still searching for Qui-Gon. Master please, I do need to see you again and I do need your help... It was very nice to meet his grandson but he was far too young. He can't be much older than him when he turned dark... He is too young to die... Finally, there was someone. It was Mace Windu. Of course, from all possible Jedi Master to meet it must be him. Hopefully I can convince him to tell me where Master Jinn is.

Mace Windu wasn't surprised to see Skywalker, he already knew what was going on and the thing with his grandson.

He won´t let him pass. We had a bad feeling about Skywalker back then and he won't help to bring his descendant back to life.

His mind made up he greets Skywalker.

"Master Windu", Anakin bows slightly because he had no idea whether the Jedi Master had forgiven him or not.

Mace Windu remains silent. "Sorry to disturb you Master but well I do need to..."

"You do need to find Qui-Gon, I do know that but I won't let you pass. We won't help you", Mace interrupted Anakin.

Of course, he should have known. Master Windu never liked him at all. "I do not deserve your help I understand that but Ben needs it. He is the reason why Rey managed to win against Palpatine. They managed what we didn't. Both deserve better."

The boy doesn't understand, thought Mace. He is the reason why the Jedi failed. He killed them all. The one who agreed to admit him.

"Yes, we weren't able to stop Palpatine but only because of you. You are responsible for our all dead. I will never help a Skywalker again."

"Well I'm sorry but I won't leave," declares Anakin. "I don't need your help. I do need to find Qui-Gon. So, you may go out of my way."

"Anakin, please just let it be," a voice from behind told him. "Mace won't help you. Qui-Gon isn't here right now. You may come with me, would you?"

Anakin turns around. It was Obi-Wan.

"Obi-Wan we won't help him," Mace demands.

"Mace, sorry but I will help Anakin even without your permission. Anakin, we need to talk. You may come with me."

Obi-Wan is about to leave and Anakin is following. Mace held him back. "You're always such trouble. I do not understand why Obi-Wan helps you. You do not deserve it." Mace released him and Anakin keeps pace with his Master.

When Obi-Wan saw that Anakin was in trouble, well... about causing trouble, he decided he will interrupt before things get worse.

He looks past his shoulders eyeing his young friend. When Anakin had become Vader Obi-Wan gone through hell. His whole world perished. He always wanted to protect his apprentice. Well, he actually never stopped because he is about to do just that, right now. Of course, the Jedi master knew the reason why Anakin searched for Qui-Gon. It was his grandson Ben.

"So, where are we going to?", asks Anakin. Obi-Wan senses his unease. "I thought it may be best going back to your grandson otherwise he is quite lonely", he smiles doubtfully.

Anakin senses Obi-Wans unease. Yes, he tries his best to hide it but Anakin knew him too well. I cannot blame him. He is talking to the very person who, well... ruined his whole world. Why has he never considered this? Obi-Wan was like a father to him, a father he never had. Say something Anakin. "Yes, probably would be best. Together we will find a solution." Obi-Wan remains silent but content.

Ben was bored. Yes, he was. This place is too peaceful for him. Hopefully Anakin was right and he will be able to return to Rey. Unsure about what to do he sat down on the 'floor' and reconsiders his situation.

He still can't believe it. From Snoke's apprentice to Ben again. Ben never thought this to be possible. But in true he longed for it. He longed to be united with his family again. But why on earth I continued with being Ren? Why again I became Snoke's apprentice? And what problem I tried to solve that I killed my father?! Wait, Kylo Ren killed him. I'm no longer Ren. I'm Ben Solo. When Rey told him, she wants to take Ben's hand he felt the final pull to the light side. He would have done everything for Rey, even Ren was impressed and never even considered to hurt her. So, Ben decided he will follow her. In a hurry he managed to pretend to be Ren for one last time and took a Tie- Fighter to follow Rey's course. Back on Exegol he successfully dealed with the Knights of Ren, not difficult at all to beat those fools once he borrowed Rey's lightsaber, which he received through their connection and then he was at her side. Unfortunately. they both weren't prepared of what was following. Palpatine forced them to kneel in front of him and used them to regain a body again. They both weren't able to resist and afterwards fell exhausted to the ground. Ben was about to raise up but was then hit by Palpatine. Once back on track he gave his life for Rey's. The only thing he was able to do.

"And that's the reason why I am proud of you my son" Ben turns around and sees his mother. He wasn't able to reply something.

Leia smiles at him. "It is so good to have my son back."

"Mom... I'd like to hug you if you don't mind if it is possible." Ben finally managed to reply.

Leia nods and Ben embraces her.
