15 Years after the fall of the Jedi Order Artis Lendix has been in hiding and now he is pulled back into the fight to join a Rebellion and end the tyranny of the Galactic Empire with a little help from some old and new faces. The time for Rebellion is now and the time of fear is over.

2. Chapter 2 - Visions Of Hope

Hey everyone I hope you all are doing well and are ready for yet another chapter of A Jedi Warrior Of Hope as much as I am. So to clear up a few things Cauri is not half human/half togruta she is a HUMAN with some togruta DNA just to clear that up. Also I would like to know what kinds of enemies you would like to see such as Stormtrooper variants or others. Well with that out of the way I hope you all enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 2 - Visions Of Hope

Artis and Cauri had taken the phantom to the Jedi Temple on Lothal in order to continue Cauri's training in the ways of the Jedi.

Cauri looked at the rock formations not really understanding. "Dad, why are we out here? It's just a bunch of rocks."

Artis set the phantom down. "It may look like a bunch of rocks but believe me it isn't. I've told you all about the different temple's all over the galaxy. Some are hidden others are not. This one is one of those hidden from view." Artis walked out of the phantom as Cauri followed him till he kneeled in front of one of the formations. "Now you must find it."

"You expect me to find an ancient Jedi Temple out here?" Cauri looked around. "There nothing rocks?"

Artis took off his helmet and placed it down beside his leg before closing his eyes. "Search for the entrance."

Cauri rolled her eyes as she walked up to the large rock and started to examine it for any kind of hole or crack or something regarding an entrance. "Dad I'm seriously doubting that there is an entrance here."

Artis didn't open his eyes. "Look through the force. Every stone, every life form, every ship tells a story and you must listen for it."

Cauri closed her eyes placing her hand against the stone using the force to listen for a story that the rock wanted to tell. "I sense..pain..anger..hope..understanding..I sense a master and an apprentice."

"Then that's what it wants a master and their apprentice to open it." Artis stood up as Cauri walked down to stand beside him as Artis reached his hand out. "Focus and concentrate and we will find it together."

Cauri reached out his hand and began to focus on the rock as she and Artis continued to concentrate on the force. With them focusing as one the large rock before them started to spin in place and raise out of the ground revealing the temple entrance.

Cauri opened her eyes as did Artis. "Remember Cauri concentrate or else we'll be trapped in there." Artis led her inside the temple.

The two walked through the temple entrance and into its ancient halls as Cauri looked to see skeletons of past jedi. "Who are they?"

Artis looked back. "These are past Jedi Masters who's padawans never returned from their trials."

"Well how much deeper do we go?"

Artis kneeled in the center in front of a single entrance. "My path stops here. Your path lies through there." Artis motioned to the single entrance that led deeper into the temple.

Cauri looked at her father. "Wait you mean your life will be in my hands?"

"Yes. I must put my faith in you as you do me. Remember Cauri the force is with you always."

Cauri nodded as she walked through the entrance and once she did it closed behind her leaving her alone. "Wish me luck." Cauri walked off heading deeper into the temple.

Artis sighed, closing his eyes. "Good luck."

Temple Depths

Cauri walked through the temple as she came upon three paths. "Okay three paths are ahead of me. But which one do I go through?"

"Maybe you should trust me on this one." Artis walked past Cauri and to one entrance.

"Dad? I thought you were supposed to wait for me?" Cauri followed him through the first path.

"Well I thought it would be better if I came with you. Now come on!" Artis took off running down what looks like a cave.

Cauri couldn't seem to keep up with her father. "Dad, wait up!" She came to a screeching halt when she heard him scream in pain. "Dad!" Cauri ran deeper into the cave and seemed to stumble into what looked to be a temple of some kind. "Dad?"

Cauri walked around the temple looking around its destroyed halls and burnt infrastructure seeing blaster bolt scorchings along the walls. She soon came to a room where dozens of faceless bodies laid so she didn't recognize any of them. She did see they were wearing jedi robes similar to the ones her father told her about when she was a child.

Soon a red blade was ignited and she turned to see a faceless being. "An Inquisitor? How?"

"I am no Inquisitor. I am something far greater. I am a lord of the Sith. Now you shall die like so many before you." The Sith started walking towards her.

"No!" Artis soon landed in between them activating his lightsaber getting Cauri behind him. "I'll die before I let you harm her!"

"How heroic. But foolish."

Artis swung his saber looking to strike the faceless Sith who blocked each of Artis's strikes before using the force to toss Artis around. The Sith slammed Artis into the ground and against the pillars of the temple they were in. Artis slowly stood back up before he tried to attack the Sith again only to have his saber knocked out of his hand and in front of Cauri.

She watched in horror as the Sith stabbed Artis through the chest. "Father no!" Cauri watched as the Sith lifted Artis's body up and threw him off the side into the darkness. "Father.."

"So he was your father? Well it hardly matters now does it?" The Sith marched towards Cauri who tried to activate her father's lightsaber only for it not to work. "Ready to die?"

Cauri backed away in fear as she ended up tripping and falling into an abyss of darkness before she appeared in her bed falling to the floor. "Daddy! Daddy!" Cauri was back to being a small girl as a storm raged outside and she was scared. "Daddy!"

Artis came to her and sat down next to her as she hugged him. "Hey..it's okay I'm here don't be afraid. I'm right here with you just like I'll always be here with you. So you don't have to be afraid."

Cauri looked at her father wiping away her tears. "I'm scared daddy.."

Artis put her in his lap. "How about I tell you a story?"

"About the jedi?"

"About a jedi who was extremely brave and never let anything scare her. She never let fear consume her and always believed in herself." Artis kneeled in front of Cauri. "You have to be that jedi now Cauri. I believe in you. Now you must believe in yourself."

Cauri looked at her father. "But how?"

"Remember the force is with you. Always." Artis vanished as Cauri found herself back in the temple entrance again.

"Well it appears your master has abandoned you padawan." The Sith approached her. "There is still a way. The Dark Side."

Cauri shook her head. "No. I am a Jedi. Like my father and mother. I'm not afraid of you or the Dark Side." The Sith raised his blade as Cauri closed her eyes as he brought his blade down and when she opened them the Sith was gone and she was back at the three paths entry ways. "Great back where I started.."

Soon a group of strange lights floated overhead and floated around her. "Hmm..searching for a path you are?"

Cauri looked at the lights watching them. "Who are you?"

"Hmm..a guide I am..lead you I will.." The group of lights flew through a pathway. "Here with your master are you?"

"Yes. I'm here to become a jedi." Cauri followed the lights through the pathway.

"A Jedi you wish to become. Know why you do?" The lights floated down the cave's path.

"Because my father believes in me and I want to do my part to help the galaxy." Cauri looked around finding herself in a large cave.

"Hmm..help the galaxy. Great fear I sense in you..yes fear and despair. Afraid are you?"

"I'm not afraid of the Empire or the Dark Side."

"Afraid of failure you are. Yes, failure."

Cauri sighed. "I am afraid of failing him..of failing my father and of disappointing him."

"A wise teacher failure is. Your master learned his lesson he has. Experienced failure, loss, betrayal, pain. Yes, pain. Pass these lessons onto you he has. Understand them do you?"

"He's taught me a great deal and I fear that I'm not being a good student and that he regrets training me."

"Regret his decision he does not. Understand he does. Difficult his training was, open minded he became, much wiser he is now."

Temple Entrance

Artis remained on his knees as he meditated waiting for Cauri. "Great patience you have."

Artis looked around. "Master Yoda?"

"Hmm recognize me you do Young Lendix. Patience you have, awaiting your padawan you are?"

"Yes. Though I fear that maybe I'm not being the teacher she needs me to be and that I may lose her the same way I lost Turkurt..I was impatient..unwise..blinded by fear."

"Learn from the failures you have. Trust in her, you must as she trusts in you and as you trust in the force. Guide her you must down her path."

"Yes master. I won't fail her. I'm not afraid."

"Good..you will be..you will be."

Temple Cave

Cauri soon found herself in a space of stars. "Understand him you do. Wise he has become. Become a Jedi you will."

"I wish to know..what does it truly mean to be a Jedi?" Cauri looked around the space around her hoping for an answer.

"Hmm..decide this yourself you will. A Jedi. You will be." Cauri looked to see a strange green light slowly float down to her as she took hold of it. "The force will be with you...Always."

Temple Entrance

Cauri walked out of the temple pathway to see Artis still waiting for her. "I hope I didn't take too long."

Artis stood up and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I had faith."

Cauri looked at her father. "Oh I also received this." Cauri held out the crystal she received.

"I don't believe it. It's a kyber crystal."

Cauri looked at her father confused. "A what?"

Artis laughed. "It's a lightsaber crystal."

Cauri smiled as she and Artis walked out of the temple.

Outside The Temple

Cauri looked behind her to watch the temple go back into hiding. "I wonder who was inside that temple."

Artis looked back at the temple. "Maybe one day we'll see him again."

Cauri looked at her father. "You and I spoke to the same person?"

Artis smiled walking off. "Perhaps we did. Now come on." Cauri ran after her father.

Ghost Ship

Artis and Cauri had just returned to the Ghost Ship where the others were doing something to keep busy.

Artis however noticed Sabine spray painting his Interceptor. "Sabine what are you doing to my fighter?"

Sabine smiled. "Just thought I'd give your old Interceptor a new coat of paint." Sabine stepped aside to show off her work. "So what do you think?"

Artis looked over the Interceptor seeing she had painted it in a similar fashion to his armor with the Mandalorian symbol on both Radiator wings. "I think it's your best yet." Artis smiled.

"Glad to see you're both back." Kanan and the others walked over to Artis and Cauri. "So how'd it go?"

Artis looked at Cauri. "Go for it."

Cauri took a hold of her lightsaber hilt activating it as a green blade came to life while she held it up into the air.

Ezra smiled. "Hey Cauri since you have your lightsaber maybe I could teach you a thing or two."

Cauri looked at Ezra. "Oh you are so on."

Cauri chased Ezra as they started to spar with their sabers switched to keep the blades from harming each other.

Artis crossed his arms as Hera stood beside him. "It's rare seeing Ezra act like a kid."

"Yeah. Cauri rarely ever spent time around others her own age. So maybe being around Ezra will be a good thing for her. Maybe for the both of them."

Hera placed a hand on his shoulder. "You've done a good job raising her." With that she walked off.

Artis sat down and watched the two padawan's spar for a while but it was obvious Cauri was more skilled since she had been training longer.

But Artis knew something was wrong. He could feel it through the force and it was cold.

Imperial Star Destroyer

The Grand Inquisitor kneeled before the holo image of his master Darth Vader. "My lord. It is as you believed. Artis Lendix is alive and now working with the rebel cell on Lothal."

"Then it is as I believed."

"I will double my efforts to capture him my lord and bring him to you."

"He is far more powerful than you. Artis Lendix is one of the most wanted criminals in the entire galaxy. He is a great to the Empire and must not be allowed to live."

"Yes my lord. I will bring him to you so he may be made an example of in front of the whole galaxy."

"I hope so. For your sake."

Vader's holo image disappeared as the Grand Inquisitor walked onto the bridge and up to Agent Kallus. "I want every piece of data and record we have on Artis Lendix. Now."

"As you wish." Agent Kallus pulled up the files the Empire had on Artis and his exploits in The Clone Wars.

Lothal

The next day came and Cauri was training with Artis as he was giving her another lesson in the force. "Remember Cauri the force resides in all living things. You must create a connection with those around you. Like you did with the Carth Hounds on Dantooine." Artis threw a rock into the tall grass causing a loth cat to come out of the grass. "Now remember to let your guard down."

Cauri kneeled down and held out her hand as the loth cat hissed at them while Cauri had her eyes closed reaching out through the force. When she opened her eyes the loth cat was sitting obediently and meowed as she smiled.

Artis smiled. "Excellent. You've learned a greater understanding of beast control. Remember you must make a connection with those creatures around you." The loth cat purred rubbing against Cauri's leg. "Come on let's move on to something else." Artis pulled out one of his blasters, setting it to stun while tossing Cauri her helmet.

Cauri stood up putting her helmet on only she couldn't see. "Wait a minute I can't see?"

"Exactly. Now draw your lightsaber."

Cauri drew her lightsaber and entered a defensive stance. "Now what?"

"Don't get stunned." Artis fired at her but Cauri blocked it.

"Doesn't seem so hard." Cauri twirled her saber as Artis fired another blast hitting her in the shoulder. "Ow!"

"Not so easy huh? You need to be able to see without seeing." Artis fired again, hitting her in the side.

"Ow! How can I see without looking at where the blasts are coming from." Cauri held her side.

"You need to focus and trust in the force." Artis fired another blast hitting Cauri in the thigh. "The force will guide your actions. Help you see without using your sight." Artis fired another blast but Cauri deflected it. "Good." Artis nodded to Sabine who was behind Cauri. "Remember to use the force to see without using your physical sight." Sabine fired a stun blast only Cauri blocked it. "Good. Good. Now let's see how well you do when multiple blasts are coming at you."

Artis and Sabine started firing at Cauri who deflected each of their blasts directing them into the ground. Cauri even dodged around a few while deflecting others with her lightsaber as Sabine and Artis started to circle her while firing.

Cauri managed to deflect each of the shots before Artis and Sabine stopped holstering their blasters. "Very good." Cauri deactivated her lightsaber as she took off her helmet. "So how'd I do?"

Artis smiled. "You did very well." Artis walked up to Cauri and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm proud to see you progressing so well."

Cauri smiled. "Thanks dad."

Artis looked over at Sabine. "Thanks for helping Sabine."

Sabine nodded her head. "I'm just glad to have other Mandalorians around who appreciate weaponry."

Artis laughed. "You should meet my father. He knows his weapons blasters, explosives, knives, ships, armor, really anything he can use in a fight he is an expert."

"Your father sounds like a good man." Sabine looked down slightly being reminded of her family.

Artis walked over and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I know about you and your family." Sabine looked at him with worry, "Well don't worry clan Lendix doesn't see you as anything but a lost warrior looking for their way home. One day your family will forgive you and when they do clan Lendix will stand by you." Artis and Cauri walked away as Sabine watched them go.

It wasn't long before Kanan had Sabine, Artis and Zeb assist in Ezra's blaster training na dhe was supposed to redirect the blasts at the Stormtrooper helmet.

Kanan watched Ezra redirect the blasts all over the place. "You can't just redirect the blasts in every direction you have yet to hit the target."

"Yet." Ezra ducked another blast. "The key word is yet."

Kanan waved it off as the three ceased firing. "You're distracted and unfocused. Wanna tell me what's going on?"

Ezra lifted his visor. "I just don't wanna miss Senator Trayvis's transmission."

"You don't even know if he'll transmite today."

"He's been on more frequencies and I have a feeling today is the day."

"Well I have a feeling you'll get stunned if you don't stay in the moment. This moment."

Ezra groaned activating his lightsaber and putting down his visor before they continued his redirection training. Suddenly Ezra started to hear voices as he pulled up his visor deflecting the blasts while closing his eyes as he had a vision.

When he woke up he was on the ground as Kanan helped him sit up. "Ugh..I got stunned didn't I?"

"No. You redirected every blast at the target."

Ezra held his head. "I saw something.."

Artis uncrossed his arms. "You had a vision?"

"I saw Gall Trayvis. Kanan, he knew my parents!" Kanan helped Ezra stand up. "It was so real..all of you were there. Sneaking around in the dark, troopers were everywhere."

Sabine rolled her eyes. "Sounds like a typical day."

"Except Trayvis was there fighting side by side with us and he said he knew my parents."

"Ezra just because you want something to happen doesn't mean it's going to." Kanan crossed his arms.

Artis hummed in thought. "The force works in the most mysterious ways, perhaps this may be one of Ezra's trials."

Kanan shrugged. "Could be."

Hera walked out onto the ship ramp. "Ezra hurry up he's transmitting!"

Ezra ran to the Ghost running past Zeb and Sabine as Cauri walked up to Artis. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Artis watched Ezra as he ran into the Ghost. "You aren't the only one."

Artis and Cauri walked into the Ghost as Ezra seemed to be heading somewhere. "So anyone gonna fill us in?"

Hera looked at Artis. "Senator Trayvis may be holding a meeting with rebel sympathizers in the Old Republic Senate Building. Ezra's going to confirm this with his contact."

Artis crossed his arms stroking his chin. "I have questions about Senator Trayvis but they can wait for later. For now we need to be prepared if the Empire's waiting for us. Where are we headed to?"

Zeb groaned. "Ezra's house. I still think this is a bad idea." Zeb walked off with Sabine following him.

Artis looked at Hera. "So anything else from Fulcrum?"

Hera nodded handing him something. "Be careful word is the Empire may have sent a Bounty Hunter after you. Not sure who." With that she walked past him along with Cauri and Kanan.

Artis looked at the data pad. "Oh I have a feeling I know who." The image showed someone wearing Mandalorian-like armor. "I've dealt with them once before."

The Next Morning Old Republic Building

The Ghost Crew were overlooking the Old Republic Senate Building as Artis pulled down his scanner. "I don't see any Imperial forces around his shuttle except two droids. But they've got the area locked down." Artis flipped his scanner up looking at Ezra. "It's definitely a trap and they're waiting for us."

Zeb looked at the others. "I say for once we don't walk into the trap and find another way in."

Kanan came up with an idea. "Maybe we can fly him out on his own ship if nobody sees us."

"I know a way in where nobody will see us." When Ezra saw the looks he was getting he smiled. "Hey I survived against the Empire for eight years. Come on!" Ezra ran off as the others followed him.

The crew found a single droid guarding a sewer entrance so Chopper and R9 rolled right up to it and zapped it. R9 rolled over to the controls and plugged in opening the hatch while Chopper knocked the Imperial droid down into it.

Zeb looked down the pipe and groaned. "It's a sewer pipe."

Ezra nodded. "Yup and I can promise you we aren't going to run into any Stormtroopers down there." Ezra started climbing down.

Sabine wasn't too excited as she started climbing down. "Terrific."

Artis followed after her. "I've done this kinda thing before, it's not so bad. Once you're used to it."

Cauri gagged at the smell following her father. "I don't want to get used to it." Hera followed after her.

Kanan was the last one to go looking at the droids. "Okay R9 you and Chopper just in case we need a backup plan." Kanan had to duck as R9 shit the pipeline on him. "Hey!"

Chopper laughed as R9 whistled at what he did.

"There used to be too much water down here. But since the Empire started rationing it, it's been pretty dry." Ezra led the crew through the pipeline.

Zeb groaned. "Doesn't help with the smell."

"Speaking of which it does smell like you." Zeb looked at Sabine confused.. "I was talking to Ezra."

Ezra looked back at Sabine. "You know what I smell like?"

Kanan groaned. "Can we focus please."

Artis looked up after reaching the ladder. "Stay close, I'll scout ahead." He started climbing up the ladder.

Artis peaked out of the pipe seeing Trayvis's ship being guarded by two protocol droids as Ezra climbed after him and saw them. "So what do you think?"

"Better safe than sorry." Artis put out his hand using the force to cause a distraction watching the droids leave. "Okay we're clear."

They all climbed out while Kanan looked at Zeb, Sabine and Cauri. "You three better go up top."

Zeb looked at them. "Need a lift?" He then helped Sabine up the side while Cauri leapt up there no problem. "Show off." Cauri used the force to lift Zeb up. "Woah! Hey!" Cauri pulled Zeb beside her letting him down as the Lasat looked at her. "A little warning next time would be nice."

"Oh don't be such a baby." Cauri and Zeb followed after Sabine while the others walked inside.

They found Trayvis standing at a podium with two droids at his side. "Who are you?"

"Senator Trayvis we're friends who received your message." Ezra walked towards the Senator.

"Welcome I didn't think anyone on Lothal got my message."

Hera stood besides Ezra. "Senator you're in terrible danger. The Empire knows you're here."

Trayvis shook his head. "But that's impossible."

Artis activated his lightsaber as two blasts took out the droids beside Trayvis, destroying them while Agent Kallus walked in.

Kanan and Ezra activated their lightsabers as well while they were being surrounded by Stormtroopers springing the trap that was set for them.

Agent Kallus slowly walked up. "Artis Lendix, Jedi Knight, Kanan Jarrus, Jedi Knight, and Padawan Jabba." Kallus looked over at Hera. "And a Twi'lek, I've never met before. From your regalia, I suspect you to be our talented pilot."

Minister Maketh Tua saw an obvious problem as she walked up. "Where is the lasat and mandalorian girl?"

Kallus looked at Artis. "I suggest you answer before my troops become a firing squad."

Trayvis whispered to the Ghost Crew. "Better do what he says."

Ezra looked back at the Senator. "Don't worry Senator, our friends will be along shortly." Ezra winked as the Senator looked up finding Zeb, Sabine and Cauri overhead.

Artis twirled his blade. "I'm gonna have to say no to that request, Agent last time I checked I don't usually comply with Imps like you."

A familiar voice caught Artis's attention. "Well if you won't answer him." A man wearing green Mandalorian armor approached. "Maybe you'll answer me."

Artis lowered his weapon. "Boba Fett. It's been a long time, hasn't it. How'd your recovery go since our last encounter."

Boba laughed a mocking laugh. "Pretty good. Despite the fact you nearly blew me to pieces and left me for dead." Boba aimed his EE-3 Carbine rifle at Artis.

Artis scoffed. "Well I seem to remember not liking working with Bounty Hunter scum like you."

Boba slowly moved towards Artis. "Your head is worth a lot of credits and is sought after by my employer. So I suggest you put down your weapon and come quietly."

"No. I don't think I will." Artis glanced up as Sabine and Zeb dropped down smoke bombs allowing Artis to use the force to throw Boba across the room and into Kallus.

Sabine and Cauri had opened fire on the Stormtroopers using their helmets thermal scanners to pick off the Imperials. Zeb meanwhile jumped down extending his bo-rifle into an electro staff taking out any Stormtroopers in sight.

Hera blasted the Stormtroopers who got close. "Stay close Senator."

Artis ran forward. "Follow me!" The others followed him out as Sabine and Cauri dropped down leaving behind explosives.

Cauri and Sabine ran out of the Senate building as Zeb pulled them back right as their explosives went off.

Hera looked seeing the shuttle was gone. "Was really hoping that shuttle would still be here."

Soon an Imperial transport showed up as Kanan sighed. "That's not the transport we're looking for."

"Run!" Artis and the others ran for the sewer entrance as he opened it. "Everyone in!"

The senator hesitated. "You want us to go through there?"

Ezra turned back looking at the Senator. "It's not so bad once you get used to the smell."

Zeb laughed. "You never get used to the smell."

Cauri blasted a Stormtrooper. "Can we move please!"

Zeb helped the Senator in as they all climbed down while Artis blocked another blaster bolt from Boba looking back. "See ya!" Artis jumped down.

Boba looked at the entrance as Kallus ran up who looked at his troops. "Get this open! I want troopers at the exits of the lower city! Now!"

Boba looked at Kallus. "If you corner Lendix he's mine."

Kallus looked at Boba Fett. "I'm aware of your objective..Bounty Hunter. Keep in mind he is still wanted by the Empire and will be brought to justice."

Boba prepared his gear. "Yeah. By me."

The Ghost Crew ran through the pipeline as Senator Trayvis stopped. "I'm sorry..I'm coming."

Hera stopped. "Ezra wait up!"

Ezra stopped coming back. "Sorry Senator, we just want to get out of here as fast as possible."

"No It's me who should apologize I'm being pursued but never in such a place as this." Hera found Trayvis's actions strange.

Cauri looked at the Senator. "Well with what you do I assumed you'd be used to being chased by the Empire."

"Well I've never been this close to capture before." Soon Stormtroopers caught up to them and opened fire.

Artis ran as behind the others and when he looked back he saw Boba Fett so when they took cover he looked at the others. "You guys go, I'll draw them away. Get Trayvis to the hatch now!" Artis stepped out of hiding and opened fire on the Stormtroopers.

Kanan looked at Ezra. "Get Specter 2 and Trayvis to the hatch! We'll meet you there!"

Ezra looked at Kanan. "How are you supposed to find us?"

Sabine looked at Ezra. "I can smell you remember!" Sabine then took off.

Ezra would've thought of a retort if Hera hadn't pulled him along. "Think of something clever to say later now move!"

Artis fired at the Stormtroopers as he took cover when Boba Fett fired at Artis while staying in cover. Artis tossed a thermal explosive down the pipe as he ran in the opposite direction of the others as the explosives took out Stormtroopers. Meanwhile Boba Fett gave chase after Artis as they fired at one another.

Hera, Ezra and Trayvis found their way to a large industrial fan as Ezra and Hera jumped down no problem while Trayvis jumped down falling over.

Ezra helped Trayvis up. "What do we do now?"

Ezra looked at the fan. "We can try and cut its power."

Hera handed Trayvis her blaster. "Watch our backs will ya?"

Trayvis aimed his blaster at them. "That's enough. We aren't going anywhere."

With Artis

Meanwhile with Artis he was hiding as Boba Fett slowly searched for him slowly moving through the pipeline watching the corners. Suddenly Artis came out of nowhere and tackled Boba as they fell down hitting the metal floor with a thud.

Boba's jetpack sparked and spasmed as he stood up while Artis kicked him in the chest then across his helmet. He and Artis stood up as Boba tried to fire his rifle only for Artis to grab his arm and threw Boba over his shoulder. Boba dropped his rifle so Artis kicked it aside while Boba used his fibercord whip to wrap around Artis's legs. Artis quickly used his lightsaber to cut the cord freeing himself only for Boba to use his flame projector. Artis threw out his hand dispelling the flame with the force so Boba used a thermal detonator. The explosion knocked Artis against the pipe wall knocking his lightsaber out of his hand.

Artis pulled his WESTAR-35 Carbine off his back firing at Boba who managed to dodge the blaster fire. Boba charged Artis, knocking him against the wall, knocking the rifle from his hands as Boba managed to grab one of Artis' blasters. Boba started to fire at Artis point blank but thankfully his armor repelled the blaster fire without issue. Artis twisted Boba's arm making him drop the blaster allowing him to headbutt Boba knocking him back.

Boba shook it off as he looked at Artis who didn't even attempt to use the force to incapacitate him making Boba scoff. "Not gonna use your little jedi powers? Are you that scared?"

Artis took a hold of his second blaster aiming it at Boba. "A true Mandalorian doesn't need the force or a blaster." Artis tossed his blaster aside putting his fists up. "Just his bare hands."

Boba put his fists up as the two circled each other. "This isn't going to end the same way as last time. Now you don't have the element of surprise."

Artis continued to watch Boba carefully. "You're supposed to be a seasoned Bounty Hunter right? You should've seen what I had planned coming."

"Kinda hard when the person that nearly kills you used to be a Jedi."

"Well used to be a Jedi." Artis then used his own flame projector on Boba causing him to cower back as he was engulfed in flames.

Boba soon came out of the flame knocking Arti's arm aside as he hit a haymaker on Artis who reared back. The second Boba closed the distance again Artis used his sonic repulsor to knock Boba back and onto his back. Artis leapt into the air coming down with a punch across Boba's helmet only to be knocked aside by Boba. Boba used his sparking jetpack to gain some altitude or what little there was and used his flame projector again. Artis rolled out of the way and ended up behind Boba and fired one of his paralyzing darts into Boba's jetpack.

Boba ended up slamming into the side of the pipe as his jetpack was damaged so Boba fired the rocket that was still active. Artis used the force to catch the rocket in the air redirecting it into the fan behind Artis who used the force to protect himself. The explosion sent both flying back into the pipe wall as the smoke slowly cleared.

Artis slowly stood up holding his side as he looked at Boba who was still down from the blast, but when Artis tried to move he groaned holding his ribs. "Ugh..oh..that wasn't very smart Fett." Artis closed his eyes using the force to heal his injuries. "I'm so glad I didn't slack on my studies even now." Artis used the force to pull his lightsaber and blasters to him before running through the destroyed industrial fan.

Boba Fett slowly stood up shaking his head while looking around seeing Artis was gone so he grabbed his rifle running after Artis.

Artis ran through the pipeline finding the others jumping down. "What I miss?"

Cauri looked at her father. "Trayvis is working for the Empire so you know the usual."

"Typical. Let's stop this fan and move. I doubt our Bounty Hunter friend is too far behind us." Artis walked up the fan and reached out with his hand using the force to stop the fan.

It wasn't long before the Imperials caught up to them as Kallus looked at them. "Fire!"

Hera and the others fired back. "Move it rebels!"

Once the others ran through the fan Artis stopped using the force diving through as Ezra looked back at Trayvis who looked down.

Artis ran back getting Ezra. "Come on."

Ezra ran behind Artis as they met up with the others while Kanan was cutting through the sewer entrance till it opened up.

The others climbed up and out as Chopper groaned and complained at them while Kanan smiled. Hey you're supposed to be happy to see us."

R9 and Chopper followed after them as Artis stopped making the others stop. "Artis what's wrong?"

Artis turned around to see Boba standing there. "You guys go. I'll be right behind you."

Cauri wanted to argue but Hera stopped her. "He'll be fine."

Cauri looked at Artis before running with the others as Artis and Boba stared at each other, neither of them moving. Artis wasn't even standing there, he was merely a vessel allowing the force to use his body as a catalyst. Suddenly both pulled out their blasters and a shot ranged out, and in that split second Boba Fett had fallen on his back, his helmet off smoking from a single shot. Artis's blaster smoked from shot that was taken as Artis put his pistol back into its holster. Artis turned and ran off following the Ghost Crew and Cauri back to the Ghost.

When he was gone Boba Fett picked up his helmet putting it back on. "I'll find you someday soon Lendix and I promise..I will kill you." Boba looked around before walking off and out of sight.

Ghost Landing Area

The Ghost Crew all boarded the ship as Ezra looked down in disappointment. "I didn't see it and I was so wrong."

Hera put a hand on Ezra's shoulder. "We all wanted to believe he was a good person."

Ezra looked at Kanan. "You always said to trust the force. I thought that's what I was doing."

"Your emotions clouded the vision. It takes-."

"Training and discipline."

"To see things clearly yes. Visions are difficult, almost impossible, to interpret."

"What was the last vision you saw?"

Kanan walked into the Ghost. "I saw this bratty kid that always caused me trouble."

Ezra laughed. "Guess you read that one wrong."

"Yeah I guess so." Kanan climbed up the ladder into the Ghost.

Cauri sat next to Ezra. "I wanted to believe in Trayvis as much as you did." Cauri sat down on the ramp of the Ghost.

"Yeah what's wrong with us?" Ezra walked down and sat next to her.

"We have hope. Hope that things can get better."

"And they will." Artis walked up and smiled. "We just need to have faith."

Ezra smiled as Hera climbed into the Ghost while the three looked out at the night sky choosing to believe and have faith.
