The baby metroid was seen on a table in a laboratory by a scientist who was looking at it as Samus enters the room as the scientist turns to face her.
"Samus Aran, you seem to have bought something very rare here" the scientist said to her.
"Yeah well, i snuck onto my ship, it doesn't seem to be hostile, cause it would have attacked me when it had the chance, but it didn't" Samus said as she takes a look inside the container as the scientist walks up to a cage with rats in it and then opens it up and picks up a rat before closing the cage.
"Now let's see how it is with other lifeforms" the scientist said before opening up the container and places the rat in it as the baby metroid grabs the rat as it squeals in pain before starting to look pale as the baby metroid drops the rat as it falls onto the floor dead as the scientist grabs the rat and takes it out as Samus closes the container and turns to face the dead rat as he places it on the table and checks it.
"Incredible, there is nothing left in this rat, this creature somehow was able to suck out its insides, like a battery being drained, without injuring the victim when grabbing it" the scientist said.
"So we know that it eats, but if it's able to drain it's food like that, you wouldn't have a chance to escape once it starts draining you" Samus said.
"Well, the test results show that this creature is just a baby, the adults could possibly be big enough to grab anyone by their waist that's about the same size as us" the scientist said.
"Well wasn't the baby with it's parents then, besides i never seen anything else that's like that" Samus said as a speaker was heard turning on.
"Samus Aran, i require your presence down at the briefing room" Adam's voice announced on a speaker.
"See what else you can find out about these creatures Doc" Samus said to her who nods at her as Samus walks off as the scientist looks at the baby metroid.
Adam and the members of the 7th Platoon were around a table as Samus walks in as everyone turns to face her.
"Samus, please take a seat, oh and take the armor off, we're in a briefing room" Adam said as Samus sits down.
"For your information sir, i never take my armor off" Samus said.
"That's an order Samus" Adam said as Samus presses a button on her helmet as her armor vanishes off her, revealing her true self underneath the armor.
"Now then, our next mission involves finding the highest ranking space pirate, Ridley" Adam said before pressing a button on a remote to show footage of Ridley attacking civilians, killing them one by one, before devouring their bodies.
"He is dangerous, well trained, and seems to heal himself by devouring on the corpses of the people he kills, making him a hard target, so make sure he's not feeding on anything" Adam said.
"Sir, with all due respects, taking down Ridley is my responsibility, you are going to get yourself killed if you're not careful" Samus said.
"Samus, you had your chance with this guy, lots of chances, and has escaped everytime, it's time for an army to take this guy out, not just one person" Adam said as Samus gets up and storms out of the room as everyone watches her.
The space pirates ship was seen flying nearby the Ceres Space Colony and hovers in front of it as Ridley stands on top of it.
"Alright everyone, we want that specimen Samus took from us, power up the cannon!" Ridley ordered as space pirates press a button as their cannon starts powering up.
Samus was seen wandering down a corridor in anger as Anthony Higgs, a member of the 07th Platoon runs after her.
"Samus wait up!" Anthony said to her as she turns to face him.
"Listen, i know you're trying to do this to avenge your family, but perhaps you should, join us again" Anthony said to her.
"Forget it" Samus said.
"No listen, sometimes you can't do things yourself, it's about working together" Anthony said to her as Samus looks out the window to notice the space pirates ship.
"Samus are you listening to me" Anthony said to her.
"Anthony, get down" Samus said.
"Huh?" Anthony said.
The cannon is fully charged up and then fires at the colony.
Samus then pounces Anthony to the floor as the wall explodes next to them as the duo land on the floor with a thud.
Ridley grins upon noticing the hole in the wall.
"Alright boys, head on in" Ridley ordered.
Samus and Anthony got up.
"Samus, you ok" Anthony said.
"Yeah, i'm fine thanks" Samus replied as screaming was heard as the sprinklers turn on.
"The space pirates are here, and if they're here, so is Ridley" Samus said before her armor appears on her as she runs off down the corridor.
"Samus wait!" Anthony said before running off after her.
