Subaru 'woke up' in a unfamiliar place. The buildings made out of stone bricks instead of cement, in the place of cars were carriages that were pulled by bipedal lizards. There were people of all kinds, some incredibly short while others had fur. Although despite this awful predicament, the young man could help but check his status.

He had gained another title, which gave him the idea that there were other people who had been summoned to this world. Although, he couldn't help but wonder how he came to be in this wolrd, who had summoned him? Did someone summon him? Or was he swallowed by some sort of tear in reality. Subaru had no clue and had almost immediately tried to push these thoughts to the back of his mind. He could ponder on those questions when he had formed some sort of livelihood in this world. He first focused on the recently gained AGL, pressing the question mark in curiosity.

Subaru felt a sense of achievement and allowed a soft chuckle to leave his lips, but that humour was soon gone as he came across the unknown perk that he had somehow gained when he came to this world wonky minutes ago. His mind had begun to be plagued by its mysteries. What could it be? Subaru wondered briefly, as this perk might be incredibly useful in the future.
Although, despite his curiosity, the young man begun to move. His feet almost graded across the smooth cobblestone with ease, the extra AGL seemed to increase his speed dramatically. He pulled out his flip phone and tried to call Yume. Unfortunately, the phone rung for only five seconds before it was interrupted with a signal error. "What else could I have expected," Subaru mumbled under his breath, pocketing his phone in his tracksuit, the thought that it may have some value stayed within his mind, selling it would be a last resort.
As he wandered, he came across the fact that he had no clue what this world's language was. He didn't know what country he was in or where he was located on the maps. He had decided to gain information, but where could he find it? Subaru had crossed off the idea venturing the slums, where the crime rate was probably the highest. Maybe he could visit a pub, where he could get easy information from loose lipped drunkards. The young man thought that was a decent idea, but he still had no idea where the pub was.

Subaru smiled dryly at the quest, as he gained no information, but if he succeeded, he may gain some EXP. The search lasted ten minutes, before he found the smell of booze and food, the sound of drunken singing bellowed from a stone brick building. A sign in the language he couldn't read must be like a lighthouse to the alcoholics. The young man opened the wooden door, warm air slammed into his face. He noticed that all eyes were on him, glaring at him.
"Kid, didn't see say the sign!" The man who spoke was half lizard, his voice full of anger, as if Subaru had crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed. The young man was visibly confused by their reaction, as all he accomplished was walking through the front door. It was at this time when he noticed that everyone in the pub had some form of animal trait.
"S-sorry, I'll be leaving now." The half-lizard man nodded, his glare lessened as Subaru walked out the door. The sound of laughter returned as the door closed, the young man's intrusion forgotten. Subaru's amber eyes looked at the translucent notification that was in front of him.

Subaru sighed in defeat, although he had gained one hundred experience, he had lost as much as he had won. He didn't get the information he so desperately needed. The young man begun to walk once more, pondering on how he could get the information he needed to survive. "Inventory," his inventory was full of fruits that he used in his potions, a spare set of clothes and his school books. He could possibly buy information by selling his fruits, although, that would be a last resort. As he needed this fruit to make health potions and he had no clue who dangerous this world could be. He closed his inventory and wandered once more, unsure about his life in a new world.
