The past brings back the pain of memories in which I have never wanted to experience again.That is what my dreams are about most nights, and I am always waking up screaming and coverd in sweat. The team does not know about these nightmares that I have although a lot of them are about the cases we have been on and my teammates, others are about things in my personal life that I had regretted in my past. Nobody knows about what has happened to me in my personal past life, and I prefer that way. I can't have them thinking that I'm weak, since I am far from being weak. Usually the nightmares are around one specific case we've been on and one specific teammate, The ones about my personal past are surrounded by one particular person from my life. It was different last night, This nightmare had me terrified. It was a combination of work and persona life, that those situations were the worst for me. The job one was about the amazing Spencer Reid, when he was abducted and the unsub forced drugs into his system. We did not get to him in time. The unsub was taken out but by the time I got to Spencer he was converging on the floor and Hotch held me back from getting to him. In these type of dreams I am never able to get to the teammate on time, and that is what scares me the most, the BAU has become my family and I can't let them down... I did that enough with my actual family.

I look over at my alarm clock on my nightstand and see that it is 8:15 am. Good enough time to get up and take a shower. I typically go for a run in the mornings before I go to work, I'm not up for it this time though. The fact that the nightmare wasn't just a work related or personal related one but a combination of them both is hitting me hard.

I move my blanket off of my legs and slide out of bed. I walk over to my light switch to flip my light on, trying to not step on Sergio in the process. Sergio is my black kitten who likes to sleep on the floor beside my bed.

After I switch on my light I walk over to my closet to get my clothes and a towel for my shower. I decided that I am going to wear a teal V-neck t-shirt and Black dress pants with a dress jacket as well. Teal always gets me in a good mood and I know that I'm going to need it today after last night. I head to my bathroom to shower, while getting ready I decided to adjust my shower temperature to more heat so I can relax my muscles. Once I get in and the water hits me I can already feel the water doing it's work. My shoulders are starting to relax. I know once my shoulders are relaxed then the rest of my body will as well. I wash my hair with my favorite Warm Vanilla scented shampoo. After rinsing I add the Warm Vanilla conditioner. While the conditioner sits in my hair, I grab my green apple body wash and begin to scrub my body, trying to make sure I get rid of all the sweat, the more I don't have sweat the more I don't have to think about last night.I quickly rinse my body then rinse out the conditioner. Stepping out I walk over to my bathroom sink counter and mirror. I wipe the fog off my mirror and study my face. I immediately see what I wish I don't. My eyes are black underneath with bags due to exhaustion. I know it's going to take quit a bit of concealer to cover that up.

I throw on my clothes and start on my make up. Going with a nude lipstick today, mascara, nude eyeshadow and concealer. I decided to skip the eyeliner and other stuff today. After I apply my makeup and put it away, I pick my clothes and towel up off the floor and throw them in a hamper as I walk out the bathroom.

I look at the time and see that it is 8:36 and know that I should be leaving really soon. I walkover to my night stand and open it's drawer to grab my badge and my gun. When I grab them both I freeze, seeing a picture of the one person in my personal life the nightmares are surrounded by. The nightmares are never d as bout what she did to me or anything cause I know she would never purposely hurt me. No there about the times I failed her by not helping her and getting to her in time. I quickly shut my drawer to stop from studying the picture and thinking process. I put my gun in my hip holster and clip my badge onto my waist band as well.

After throwing on my shoes, I do a double take to make sure I have everything I needed that was in my bedroom. After I confirm I've got everything, I walk out my bedroom to my kitchen. Before I leave I walk to a cabinet and grab Sergio's food and pour into his bowl. I grab his water container from his water bow and fill that up for him.

After Sergio has his food and water it is time to leave. I grab my keys and make sure I have everything once again. I then walk out of my house, after double checking my door Is locked and alarm is activated and walk to my car.

Once I get in my car and get it started I begin to drive. I look at my radio and see that it is 8:45 and that it's okay to stop and get me a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I pull into Starbucks and go to the drive through. Since there are 3 cars ahead of me I decided to text the team to let them know coffee was on me and anything else they wanted.

As I pull up to the window I get everyone's orders:

Garcia:

1- Large Frozen Vanilla Spice coffee

1 Maple Frosted Donut

1 Apple Fritter

JJ:

Large Iced Thin Mint Macchiato

Sugar

Skim Milk

1 Boston Creme Donut

1 Bacon,Egg and Cheese Bagel sandwich

Derek:

Medium Cocoa Mocha Iced Latte

Whole Milk

Sugar

1 Ham,Egg Cheese Bagel

1 Hashbrowns

Spencer:

Medium Irish Creme Cappuccino

Whole Milk

Sugar

1 Toasted coconut doughnut

1 Peanut Doughnut

I then order myself a Large Coconut and Mocha Iced Coffee, Almond Milk, and Kane sugar syrup with a Cram Cheese Doughnut and a Peanut Long John doughnut. After I say all of my order the total comes out 24.81, I then pull up to the window to pay and get my order.

After I receive the order and check to see everything thing is right, I begin the drive to work.

At 9:02 I pull up to the building and get out. Once I go inside I head to the elevator and hit 5 for our floor. Once I step off the elevator the whole team looks up at me and I am immediately swarmed. I laugh because Derek had jumped over his desk as soon as he saw me. Once everyone is around I start listing off the orders and handing them out, I swear Thought Penelope was going to start dancing, I could tell she was tired. After I hand out the food and Coffee I realized Spence hadn't gotten his. I look around and spot him at his desk absorbed in a book and can't help the little smile that crosses my face. I put my things on my desk and walk to him. He doesn't see me approaching him so when he dosent look up, I bend over and kiss him on the cheek. His head snaps up from his book, I grin and wave his coffee in front of him. My heart melts when he gets his boyish smile on his face, the smile he only saves for me. He stands up and stretches, then wraps his arm around me and pulls me to him so he can kiss me. He gives me a quick but passionate kiss and smiles. Me and Spencer Reid have been together for 8 months now, and it has been great. Derek told me when we first got together that if Spence and I hadn't got together when we did Pen and JJ were going to figure out a way to force us to get together.

"Thanks for the Coffee and Food Lily" Spencer tells me.

I can't help it when I'm fully smiling after that, I've always liked it when He called me Lily.

"No problem Spence" I reply back to him.

After I said that I remember why I had to walk over to him in the first place and can't control myself when I start to tease him.

"Spencer, you realize that it's only 9:20 am right? You don't have to pull out the big books yet." I say to him with a huge grin on my face

He mock glares at me and says " Ha Ha, yes I'm aware of the time, I was just reading because I was waiting for you and got bored"

He then puts this adorable pout on his face.

I can't hold it in anymore and kiss him lightly then laugh. He begins to smile after that, he likes it when I laugh, he once told me that when I laugh he can see the stress and tension leave my face.

It dosent last long however, while I was laughing director Strauss walked passed me and she looked pissed.

"Hotch, I need to speak with you!" I hear Strauss exclaim to Hotch.

I look over at Spencer and he has a serious look on his face.

It's going to be a looonnnggg week...
