Chapter 2:Coming Out, Without Choice

A.N:I got a review from my last chapter that really helped, so thanks! :) Also, the reason the last one was so short (like Nell lol) was because it was my first fanfic ever and it was only a test. I know in the original NCIS that when Gibbs and McGee arrived at OSP, Kensi let them in, McGee is featured in this chapter so this is why I'm saying this, anyway, so this makes sense, that episode didn't happen! I didn't expect to get a review but here we are! I'll be posting everyday if I can. Any ideas or feedback is welcome! Ok more Kell coming your way now.

"Kensi?"

Kensi turned to look at the analyst, "Hmm?"

"You zoned out."

"Sorry Nell, it's just.." she paused.

"It's just, what, Kens?"

"When should we tell the team?"

A knock on the door shocked the couple and Nell groaned as she got up to open the door. A squeal suddenly came from the door. "What is it, Nell?"

"It's Deeks!"

Kensi shot up. "How? W-What? Why is he here?!"

A call came from behind the door, "Kens?"

"I guess he thinks you live here, Kensi!" Nell whisper-shouted, making sure she couldn't be heard by Deeks, before rushing to remove all trace of her living there. Kensi quickly got up to help her wife, then reluctantly pulled off her wedding ring and passed it to Nell for safekeeping. Nell quickly took it and pressed a kiss to Kensi's cheek before hurrying to hide in the bedroom with all the things that made it obvious that Kensi didn't live alone. Kensi then rushed to the door.

"Hey Deeks!" She sounded frantic, and worried. She'd never told anyone where she lived, for obvious reasons. He had probably bribed Hetty with tea or something like that. Hetty, of course, knew. Even if she never told her, she would figure it out sooner or later. Hetty was a ninja.

"You ok, Kens?" Deeks raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, come in!" She moved to let her partner in.

Deeks walked around the living room of the apartment. "Surprisingly, this place is very clean."

'Courtesy of Nell' she thought.

Kensi huffed. "Well maybe I want something different than my desk at work, Shaggy."

"Why have you never invited anyone around?" He asked.

I don't know, maybe I have a secret wife at home who nobody, but Hetty obviously, knows about and oh yeah, that secret wife is Nell.

"I don't know, I just think it's too small to invite anyone around."

All of a sudden, a ringtone echoed around the room. It took a moment for Kensi to realize that it was her text ringtone. She reached into her jean's back pocket and grabbed her phone. She smiled when she saw a text from Nell.

Nell:U ok?

Kensi:I'm fine, now I gtg D gonna wonder y I'm looking at my phone n not talking to him.

Nell:K bye

Kensi put her phone back in her pocket and went back to talking with Deeks. But she was surprised when she didn't see Deeks standing in front of her. She then turned around and realized she had left the door open. 'He must've left' she thought.

After a talk with Nell last night, they had decided Kensi would talk to him about why he left so abruptly yesterday. When she arrived in the bullpen, she was confused when Deeks wasn't at his desk.

"He's in the gym."

She looked over to Sam. "Thanks," she said before throwing her bag on her desk and ran towards the gym. Deeks was beating up a punching bag when Kensi walked in. He must've heard her walk in because he stopped what he was doing and turned to face her.

"Why didn't you tell me, tell us?" He asked. He sounded hurt.

"What do you mean?"

"I saw the picture above the front door."

She gulped. Above the door was a picture of her and Nell on their wedding day, it just had to be the picture taken moments after they got told 'You may miss the bride'.

"Deeks, I'm sorry.."

She watched him as he walked over to the men's locker room and she sighed. Kensi left the gym with tears in the corner of her eyes and she immediately headed to Hetty's office. When she arrived, Hetty looked up surprised, before signalling for her to take a seat, clearly seeing her glossy eyes.

"What's wrong, dear?"

"Deeks found out."

"Oh... that's a problem."

"You don't say."

"Don't turn around."

Kensi glanced up at the woman.

"Unless you want to see Mr Deeks, I suggest you don't turn around," She replied calmly.

Oh she didn't want to see him, alright.

"Everything alright here?"

Kensi looked up when she recognized the voice as Callen's.

"Yes, Mr Callen, everything is fine. Ms Blye is worried about something and wanted to ask me about it. Now please return to your desk."

He raised an eyebrow then turned to leave.

"Now, where were we?Ah yes, your little problem."

"It's not a little problem, Hetty."

"How did he find out? "

She sat back in her seat, "He came to our apartment yesterday, there's a certain picture above the door took on our wedding day. I expect you know what one I'm talking about."

Hetty nodded.

"We forgot to take it down when he arrived so he saw it when he was looking around. I got a text from Nell, replied, then looked up to see he was gone."

"Do you know how he figured out where you live?"

" I expected he bribed it out of you with tea, but now I'm thinking he somehow got Eric to dig it up out of my file. Why he wanted to know in the first place, I have no idea. "

A loud whistle interrupted their conversation.

"We've got an unknown visitor!" Eric announced .

"Come and speak to me after whatever's happening, Mrs Blye."

Kensi nodded and quickly went up to OPS.

When Kensi arrived, the front door camera was up on the big screen and on it displayed a tall, brown haired man and a shorter woman with black pigtails. Realization hit when the man held up a NCIS badge into the camera.

"I'll get it!" Kensi announced. She left OPs and ran down the stairs to let them in.

"Special Agent Kensi Blye, how may I help you?"

"Oh I'm Special Agent Timothy McGee and this is Forensic Scientist Abby Scouto (I don't know how to spell it okay?), we're from DC. "

"Once again, how may I help you?"

" Have you heard of Arkady Kolcheck? "

"The extremely annoying Russian who Callen knows? Yeah I've heard of him. "

"We could tell you why if you'd let us in."

Kensi moved to the side and let them in. When they exited the tunnel, the team was already wait for them, but Kensi dismissed herself and went back to Hetty's office.

"What did they want?" Hetty asked.

" Arkady. " She replied.

"Ah."

" Now back to what we were talking about. "

"I say give him some time to swallow it all and talk to him again when he seems ready. If you'd like, I could let you off until he seems comfortable?"

"I'll give him some time, thanks Hetty."

"You're welcome, dear."

000

Deeks was confused.

He had a lot to swallow. Kensi was married. To Nell. The short, chipper analyst. He was pretty sure Eric had a little crush on Nell. He was also pretty sure he had a massive crush on Kensi. He couldn't believe it when he saw that picture above the door. He had bribed Eric by telling him he'd get Hetty to lift the 'no food or drinks in OPS' ban if he got Kensi's address. He, of course, didn't talk to Hetty about lifting the ban, that was his intention, to talk to Hetty, to fulfill his end of the agreement. But how could he think about that when he probably just figured out Kensi's biggest secret?

When he left the gym, he saw Kensi in Hetty's office. Hetty was looking at him pass, it honestly creeped him out. On the way, he almost bumped into Callen, who was making his way to Hetty's office. He sat down at his desk and slumped in his chair.

"You ok, Deeks?"

Deeks' eyes shot to Sam.

"Yeah I'm fine."

" Kensi was looking for you. "

"She found me."

Eric's whistle interrupted them.

"We've got an unknown visitor!" He announced. They quickly left for OPs. Deeks looked at Hetty's office. He glanced towards Kensi and sighed. He just said what had been on his mind since last night at walked away. Was he too harsh?
