Chapter 2: The lab

The hazel colored rabbit suddenly woke with a start. He was confused, the last thing that he remembered happen was when Cowslip jump at him. Something else was missing too, he couldn't quite put his paw to it. Then the rest of his senses registered it. He was in a hutch! But instead of the smell of cat or dog or any other animal, all he could smell was a weird tangy smell that was suspiciously similar to dried blood.

'Where am I' thought Hazel, How had he got here? Then a shadow blocked the overhead light. A feeling of dread filled Hazel's stomach.

Jonathan turnspic looked at the now wide awake rabbit. "Hey little guy" he soothed knowing that the chances of the rabbit understanding was very very small. "It's alright, I'm not gonna hurt you" In the back of john's mind he knew that the rabbit would not feel pain, in the least. The rabbit just stared at him with deep black eyes, with the occasional nervous glance as if to look at the workshop like shed. After about a few moments of staring John set off to work. He put on his gloves and a butchers robe. He then placed the shaking rabbit on a crimson stained table. The human looked briefly for something, then found it. A syringe with a liquid inside of it. He held down the rabbit, in a manner as not to do harm, and injected the sleeping drug into the rabbit. Good he thought, now the waiting game.

Hazel started to feel sleepy. He looked up to see the human looking for something. Then he found it. It seemed to be a measuring tool. The human put it against Hazel's side. "1.4" The human declared, then he set down the tool. Then he picked up another tool, not unlike something for surgery.

"Hey little guy!" The Human's voice echoed inside hazel's head as if it were far away.

"I am about to take you to a place so beautiful, your friends will be there!" He said in a happy voice.

Suddenly his voice turned very dark " there's just one small thing I need to take care of first"

Then everything went black

Author's note: Thank you for actually spending time reading my story, as bad as it is, Don't be shy to leave a review.

Fun Fact: the line "there's just one small thing I need to take care of first."

Is actually a line GlaDos from the portal series says. The only difference is that the I is a we in the original line.
