Chapter 2: Who Are You?

She swung her hips and flipped her hair, her cute little pink dress hugged her curves. She gripped the gift-wrapped box on her side as she walked into Caroline's backyard with huge smile stretched across her face. Caroline was busy setting cupcakes on the table, Bonnie glanced around as she made her way she noticed some of the husbands and single dads checking her out.

"Oh god!Bon! you're here!" Caroline said excitedly turning around and hugging her. Bonnie and Caroline have been bestfriends since high school however they separated when Caroline went off to medical school but they always kept in contact. A few years back Caroline and her husband Stefan Salvatore; Damon's younger brother had bought a house in Marietta, Georgia. Today was their daughter Lana Salvatore 5th birthday and Bonnie couldn't miss her goddaughter's big 5. Bonnie placed the gift on the table as Caroline passed her a glass of wine "So where's Damon?". Bonnie rolled her eyes "I know you don't like him"

Caroline sipped her wine "He treats you like a whore and he hasn't spoken to his brother in 2 years. He's pathetic and a narcissist. Stefan struggled to find a firm to employ him after law school and his own brother runs two major firms"

Bonnie smiled tightly. "Bon look at this…"

Bonnie looked around the backyard, parents chatting and eating while the kids play in the bouncy castle. Lana waved at her as she ate a cupcake. "Don't you wanna settle down have a kid or two with a nice guy?" Caroline questioned.

"Sweetie this has always been your life. The marry and have kids before 30, I'm the wild card" she said sassy. Caroline pressed her lips and whispered "Bon you're sleeping with men for money. You're better than that…you have talents"

"Bonnie Bennett haven't seen you in awhile! I have a colleague I wanna introduce you to I think you two would hit it off" Stefan teased startling the women. Bonnie shake her head "Riding solo! But good to see you. Lana is growing so fast"

He smiled and went over to the kids. "I haven't told him what you do and about Damon. But you need to let him go he's trouble"

After the party, Bonnie found herself home infront of her bathroom mirror she stared at her image. She ran her fingers through her kinky dark brown hair and she bite her chapped her lips, she thought about what Caroline said about her lifestyle and her warnings on Damon. She hated herself at times but she couldn't stop, the money is great. Deep down inside she craved true love, marriage and even kids. She envy Caroline but she made choices she couldn't escape. She swayed her hips out the bathroom to the sound of Both Sides of the Moon by Celeste as she ran her fingers threw her hair seductively she felt the lyricism and the beat ran through her body. She suddenly heard a knock on the door, she turned down the volume and opened the door to him…the British guy.

"Well Mr. Niklaus did you change your mind? Did Bunny give you my address?" she placed her hands on her hips smirking. He pushed his way as he looked around suspiciously. "Um! Okay come in" she said sarcastically frowning. He stood staring at her with no emotion "You have to listen to me I'm not here to hurt you but you need to pack as much as you can and come with me. You're in serious danger!"

Bonnie eyes widen as she remembered Damon telling her not to talk to anyone and his weird demeanor. Who the fuck did she let in. She grabbed the lamp nearby and swung it him and he snatched it out her hand. She gasped "I'm not going to hurt you Bonnie. Please pack…you have to believe me. Damon Salvatore is a criminal"

"Are you a cop? So me some id ?" She yelled. He tried to calm her down "I can't now! They might have bugged the room if you come with me I will show you and tell you everything" He whispered grabbing her close to him. He let her go "Glance out the window don't let the guy see you! He has been watching you for days. He's Belgian and working for whoever Damon screwed over. That man has orders to kill you" Klaus said. Bonnie stared at him in fear as her heart palpitated; she peaked out and saw the man glancing up. She moved away and ran to the bedroom began to pack clothes, shoes, cosmetics and everything she can grab, "Hey dude can you grab my phone, speakers and headphones off the table" she yelled from the bedroom. She hurried towards him "Oh the fuck do we get pass him" she panicked. He walked out the apartment, she turned off the lights and locked the door. He was silent but focused she followed him trying to keep up with the pace. "He must be cop…what the fuck did Damon do?" she thought. She followed him to a secret passage, he took her bags and walked outside to a black car. He tossed her bags at the back seat and opened the car door for her, she stood and gulped "Who are you?"

"Get in and I'll tell you" He said dryly. "I don't get in cars with strangers"

"Fine you can stay here and that bloke can put a bullet in your head. I wouldn't care this is just another job" He said coldly. She gritted her teeth and got into the car. He got in and started driving "Rebecca love plot our destination!" he said. The voice in the car replied and began directing him to Brookhaven, Bonnie looked around the car and frowned.

"Who the fuck are you? What the fuck is this?" She yelled.

"I'm Agent Niklaus Mikaelson MI6"

"MI6? OH GOD! What did Damon do? OH GOD! Am I in trouble? Are my friends in trouble?" She began panicking.

"I have been watching you for awhile, I thought you were in on the money laundering and other criminal activities but you are just a victim. Damon has been working for a very dangerous man known as Mr. K as his lawyer at first. Mr. K is a notorious criminal that has committed heinous acts in the UK and the US. He has been stealing money from Mr. K and storing it in a bank account with your name on it".

"What? So they are coming after me for Mr. K money? Oh god! I had no idea that he did that. Oh god Caroline was right" She yelled. "Wait? Where is Damon?"

"He is currently hiding, possibly on the run and he left you for dead" Klaus said coldly. She chuckled and rolled her eyes as she looked out the window "Look we are going to check into a place in BrookHaven and figure this out. Wait for my boss's next instuctions."
