Chapter 2 Jamien's Rescue Day
In this chapter, Virgil is 16 years old when he got Jamien in the year 2057.
Later that day Jamien was laying on the ground when he heard the door open. Jamien stuck his head through the bars, saw a man walked through the entrance door.
" Hello sir", The lady at the desk said to the stranger.
" Hello, My name is Virgil and I am looking at getting a dog", Virgil said to the lady.
" Well what type of dog are you looking for", The lady ask Virgil.
" Well a dog that is easy to train and gets along with other dogs", Virgil said.
The lady got off her chair, walked around the desk and look at Virgil.
" I will show you where the dog's here, fellow me", The lady said looking at Virgil.
Jamien with his head still through the bars watches the man walked down the hall. The lady and Virgil stop right next to Jamien's cage.
" Here is a german shepherd easy to train, great with other dogs and people too', The lady said.
" Well", Virgil said than he stops.
Virgil looked at golden wolf-dog with his head struck out of the bars.
" What about him", Virgil said looking at the wolf.
" Him, he is going to get euthanized today if we can't find him a home", The lady said with a sad sound to her voice.
Virgil looks at the wolf, placed his hand on the wolf heads.
" He is coming home with me", Virgil said looking at the lady.
The lady opened the cage door and Jamien walked out and sat down in front of Virgil. Virgil placed a green collar around Jamien's neck with a name tag attached to it, but it had no name on it. Virgil paid 20 dollars for Jamien, they both walked out the door and went to the airport, where they went with Jeff Tracy.
" Dad meet my wolf', Virgil said.
Jeff turned around and look at the golden wolf.
" He is cute, Virgil what is his name", Jeff asked while patting the wolf-dog.
" I haven't named him yet because I can't think of a good name for him", Virgil said looking at Jeff.
" Well let's go home maybe Scott or John can think of good names", Jeff said.
Jeff, Virgil and the wolf jump into their plane, toke off to Tracy Island. They arrived at Tracy Island at dawn. Jeff and Virgil walked into the lounge room where they found Scott, John sitting on the sofa watching tv, Lucille was in the kitchen making dinner and Snowy, Spiky were play fighting with each other. Jeff walked down to the kitchen and Virgil walked over to his brothers, Jamien ran behind Virgil and when sat down Jamien jump up on his lap and lied down.
" Is this the new Tracy wolf", John said.
" Yes", Virgil said to John.
" What is his name", Scott asks Virgil.
" I haven't thought of a name yet", Virgil said to Scott and John.
" I am going to bath him and go to bed, I am tired", Virgil said.
Virgil picks up the wolf front legs, moving them off his lap. Virgil walked out of the lounge room, went to the bathroom. Jamien watched Virgil leave, followed him down the hallway into the bathroom. Virgil felt the bath up with water, pick up Jamien and placed him into the bath. After the bath, Virgil had a shower and Jamien was laying on Virgil's bed, Virgil Finnish in the shower and changed into his PJs and walked into his bedroom and found Jamien laying on his bed.
" Ok you can sleep with me Jamien", Virgil said looking at the wolf.
" Jamien", Virgil said again out loud.
Each time he does, Jamien waged his tail and braked at Virgil. Virgil climbed into his bed and Jamien curled up aginst Virgil and fell off to sleep. The next day Virgil wake and saw that Jamien wasn't in the room, Virgil climbed out of bed and changed his clothes. Virgil walked down to the lounge room where he found Jamien with everyone and Jamien was playing with Snowy and Spiky. When Jamien saw Virgil walk in the lounge room, Jamien went running over to Virgil and jumped right into his arms.
" Thank God I found you Jamien," Virgil said in a calm voice.
Jamien jumped out of Virgil's arms, walked over to his food blow and sat down next to it whining looking at Virgil. Virgil knows that Jamien was hungry, Virgil picked up Jamien's blow and walked off to the meat locker and gabbed two pieces of meat and placed it in Jamien's food blow. Virgil walked out of the meat locker, walked downstairs to the kitchen. Virgil placed Jamien's blowdown on the floor, Jamien walked over and started eating while Virgil made himself some breakfast.
