A lone Republic nu-class shuttle flew straight towards the large and hazardous energy field that sheltered a small galaxy from the larger neighboring one. inside the ship's cockpit, Jedi master and padawan, Obi-wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano, were discussing the reason they'd traveled so far outside the known galaxy. "I just don't understand why my master would leave so abruptly at a time like this. I mean, we've only just started to gain a foothold into new Seperatist territory beginning with Edu" said the young togrutan. "Anakin did tell me he'd been having visions during the invasion. They must've been very powerful ones if they've managed to compell him travel all the way out here" replied Obi-wan. About a day had passed since General Skywalker had vanished and his master, along with his padawan, were tasked by the Jedi Council to find and bring him back. The two had suceeded in figuring out where his ship, the Twilight, had flown to and ended up right before the same energy field. "I've got a bad feeling about this" said Ahsoka as she gazed at the massive energy field. "I've heard alot of stories about this energy barrier. Monsterous serpents made up of pure energy, space-time anomalies, that sort of thing." "Wild tales, nothing more Ahsoka. Though one thing is certain, time moves much faster in this galaxy than it does back in ours. The first expedition to the only habitable planet, Earth, spent a few weeks there and when they returned, only a few hours had gone by back home" said the Jedi master. "Whoa, now that's something" commented the padawan before saying "Well, let's hope we can get through this energy field in one piece."
The ship finally entered the field. It took some time and after one too many close calls, they made it past unscathed. Obi-wan then decided to meditate to gain some insight as to what their next move should be. What he saw were images of a young woman with blonde hair, a tall structure with a light shining out of the top, and a cabin in the middle of a forest. With that done, they both set coordinates to Earth and made the jump to hyperspace. The Jedi pair made sure to land the ship undetected after they arrived. Their destination was a city located on the North American continent known as Seattle, having used the Force to determine that that's were the woman from Kenobi's vision resided. In order to blend in with the locals, the two donned simple Earth garbs that they brought with them. Obi-wan wore a beige t-shirt underneath a dark grey hoodie with blue jeans while Ahsoka wore a pink t-shirt under a denim jacket with white pants. Also, to hide her alien appearance, she equipped herself with a holographic disguise matrix to allow her to pass as a human teenager with a blonde ponytail wearing the same outfit. The Republic had recently learned how to construct these devices after capturing the inventor, a bounty hunter named Sinrich.
"I wonder how this woman you saw is going to help us find my master" said Ahsoka as she and Obi-wan walked from where they hid the shuttle to the city streets. "I'm not sure Ahsoka" he responded before saying "Hmm, if my senses are correct, she must live in this apartment." Both master and padawan stared up at the huge building to their left before going inside. Kenobi pondered to himself what Ahsoka had told him. Indeed, he too wondered how the woman from his vision would help them. Would they have to reveal the fact that they were not from this world and if so, how soon would they have to reveal it. As they finally reached the door to where said woman lived, Obi-wan went to knock on it. However, he halted when they both sensed their target walk around the corner towards them. She was looking down at her phone as she walked but when she looked back up and noticed Obi-wan and Ahsoka, she slowed down. "Excuse me, can I help you two?" she asked, noticing that they were standing by her door. "Greetings ma'am. My name is Ben McGregor and this is Ashley McKenzie" said Kenobi as he gestured to himself and Ahsoka. "We were wondering if you possibly know something about a... cabin 12?" He remembered the details of the cabin from his vision and asked her about it, hoping she might hold information that would help them in their search. The woman just stared at them, eyes ever so slightly widening in shock while her mouth hung open a little. "... How do you know about cabin 12?" she asked cautiously. "Well, if you'll permit it, me and my associate would like to discuss it with you in your apartment Mrs..." "Rachel" replied the woman "Rachel Keller."
"A pleasure to meet you Mrs. Keller" said the Jedi while Ahsoka greeted "Nice to meet you." "Um, likewise" Replied Rachel, a bit friendlier but still guarded. "Let me just, uh, get the door and I'll let you in" she said and went to unlock it while the two strangers waited patiently. Afterwards, she stepped inside and held the door open for the two. "Thank you" said Obi-wan as he and Ahsoka entered. Rachel closed the door, wondering what these two knew about the strange events that had recently occured in her life.
