I don't own Harry Potter.
A/N: In the previous chapter I got a review that claimed the story was sexist and degrading to the men. In case other people saw it from that perspective, I want to make some inquiries.
First of all, the argument that Lily manipulative towards the boys is true, but I don't see it as sexism. The boys in question are still children, they are highly influential and already come with prejudice, Lily does maneuver them, but just like Dumbledore, she tries to reach the general good. I ask, is it that Dumbledore's manipulability was not directed at a particular gander, does that make it better?
Secondly, as an independent and smart girl, Lily is also a feminist. She uses her abilities to achieve the goal she set for herself, whether you like it or not, it's her head. Like everyone else in the world, your opinions don't have to be the same as other people.
Another thing, a note that Rose Evans said her daughters can sound bad. But it's all relative when it happened. They live in the 1960s, it was still common for the man to be more responsible for the family and the woman at home, I think that Rose was trying to teach her girls how to take command, not just sit around and wait for the man to come and summon them. Of course you don't have to take anything to the extreme.
And finally, the whole story so far has been only from Lily's point of view. When a story is told from one perspective, it is inevitable that there will be interpretations. Lily gets it this way, is that exactly what everyone else thinks? To know that, you have to get into each one's head.
Lily doesn't disdain boys, she's just trying to be the responsible adult in Severus's life and not be deterred from being a girl. I may not have passed it the best way, but I'm not a great writer.
I'm sorry if the story hurt or offended anyone, it wasn't my intention at all. Please, if you find this content not your cup of tea, there is always the back button.

I do not oblige anyone to read, I do not receive money for your reading, please do not come to me with harsh arguments. You can't imagine how much a good word can affect a person's entire day and vice versa.
In previous chapter was 3 people that gave interpretations to the picture: Trickster32, LilasPrincess and Akee Chan. I decide to take a little from every suggestion and mix them.
chapter 2:
The sorting proceeded in roughly the exact way she expected. Severus sorted to Slytherin, while Potter, Black, Lupin, Pettigrew and she found themselves on the red table.
She looked at Severus through the courtroom as he sat next to an older boy wearing a head boy's tag.
The blonde boy reminded her of the elves she had read about in the Hobbit books at home, with the right appearance and not to mention how proud and noble he was.
Severus seems to have found a common language with the elf-boy, Lily was happy about that. Severus deserved more people on his side.
Basically, Lily did not neglect her mission. She decided to exercise step three, and she had to. She just had to wait for the right moment.
The dinner was amazing, but Lily's sheer pleasure dissipated when she noticed that Severus had eaten almost nothing. It was another thing she needed to fix. She considered it and decided she would do it in moderation, step by step.
The most pressing thing was to make Severus feel at Hogwarts like home, well, not like his home of course, but much better.
She barely noticed her dorm friends that evening, she was too busy with a project she took on.
The next day she managed to catch him before entering the dining room. Not that he ate anyway.
"Sev!" Lily jumped behind the wall and startled the young boy.
"Lily..." Severus murmured as he overcame the sudden panic. Lily noticed that he had not met her gaze.
She cut her forehead. "Something happened?"
Severus shook his head, eyes firmly on his shoes. Lily wasn't fooled.
"Severus Tobias Snape, tell me what's wrong."
Severus looked like he was ready to run away, but he nonetheless began hesitantly. "You're in Gryffindor..."
Lily laughed with relief, "That's all? Silly, that means nothing. We're best friends anyway, remember?"
Severus looked up wide, Lily noticed that they were asleep all night. "Really?"
"Of course it is, silly!" Lily promised without hesitation.
A tiny smile of relief and hope came over Severus's face. Seriously, this friend of hers was too silly.
"Actually, I wanted to ask you a favor." Lily grabbed his hand and began to lead him toward the toilet.
"Lily, these are the girls toilet!" Severus protested as he discovered the destination.
"Shhhh, Sev, that's fine. Even so, it'll be empty right now. Everyone's too busy getting ready for the first day of school."
"Actually, why aren't we?"
"We are, don't worry, we have time."
Lily looked at their reflections in the mirrors next to the sinks, she left Severus' hand and removed shampoo and creams from the bag on her back.
Beyond the sight, she saw the hesitated face of the Slytherin, "Lily?" He asked carefully.
"Severus, it's a new year, we need to make some changes ourselves so we feel like we're starting a new life. I want to try my hand at hairstyles, help me?"
The smaller boy thought for a moment before nodding quietly. Lily knew he would agree, there were few things she would refuse if she asked, and yet, she already had a speech ready for an emergency.
Lily smiled and finished approaching him.
She acted like she saw hairdresser working in barbershops. She washed the black hair thoroughly in the sink, dried it with a towel, and applied a strong nourishing cream for the rise. She looked at the result critically, the hair needed a serious revival, and it would only happen when together he would begin to get the vitamins he was supposed to.
She took out scissors and cut a noticeable hair fuse of burnt ends.
She walked away and watched his performance.
With all humility, it wasn't bad at all. Severus looked very tiny and cute and Lily was really pleased. She applauded triumphantly, "Great!"
Lily - 1 , Hair - 0.
She had to postpone the rest of the plan after the lessons.
That evening, in Gryffindor's common room, she showed off her little photo album.
Most of the pictures she kept there were taken last year. Lily remembered this period. She got her camera on her 10th birthday. She had been begging for it for two months for her parents to allow it, after Tony had received exactly the same gift for her last birthday. Her parents tried to convince her that she would get it when she grew up a little, but Lily didn't give up and in the end, she got the camera and the little album.
Her dorm friends examine the pictures curiously. Lily turned the pages and told a few random details about each photo, she soon came to Severus's pictures and was once again thrilled to see how cute he seemed to be drowning in the big, uneven clothes he was wearing.
"It's Severus dancing the cheerful dance he invented," Lily pointed to the right photo, laughing, "he would always dance it whenever I was sad, and almost always it would end by stumbling in his big shoes and falling on the grass. I think it was part of the dance." The girls around were giggling at the story of the young boy's misdeeds.
"And here," Lily pointed her finger at the next photo showing the black-haired boy crossing a small loaf of bread he was holding, "he shares his food with me. He needed it a lot more than I did. I was angry with my family that night and I protested, I told them I won't eat anything, just a hour after I already was so hungry, but I wouldn't repeat what I said. Severus took pity on me. "
Cries of "Awww" and giggles were heard around the redhead girl, "How cute!" Called some girls.
Lily joined in an embarrassed laugh, "It feels so embarrassing to me."
That night when she went to bed, she left the album on the nightstand next to her bed. At morning it was no longer there.
Lily went down to the common room and from there to the hall and found her friends flipping through the pictures there. Once in a lifetime, she rejoiced at the nosiness of the curious girls.
She moved toward them when she noticed one of the second year girls, Alice, if she wasn't wrong, the girl sat a few feet away from the rest and scribbled on a piece of paper. But what caught Lily's attention was the image she held, and clearly removed it from the album.
"What do you do?" Lily pop up curiously.
Alice shrieked in surprise, dropping the page she wrote on it.
"No, wait!" A flushed face protested as Lily picked it up and opened it.
Lily ignored and read the short love letter written there and was aimed at Severus.
"Awww," she hummed teasingly, avoiding the flushed blonde's attempts to return the letter.
But the page was torn from its grip by Potter who appeared there with his friends. "Someone got a crush on a Little Snapey?" Ask the same provocation as Lily did.
"He's really little," tweeted Peter, who for two years joined the group of girls and looked at the embarrassing pictures.
Severus had just entered the dining hall and was approaching his good friend when he heard what Gryffindor was talking about. At a glance at the gathering girls, he easily recognized Lily's purple album and his pale face wore a fiery blush.
"Oh, Sev!" Lily noticed it and waved vigorously, "We just looked at these cute pictures."
"L-Lily!" He squinted and covered his red face, rushing to change direction and make a hasty retreat.
A/N: Guys, I want to thank everyone of you that leave a nice comment and review, and especially who gave interpretations. That really encourage me!
