Just in case, this chapter will feature the same message from the end of last chapter except it will be up here. That way I can be sure that everyone who may have wanted to see it, can. After this, the questions will still be here, but it's highly likely that the message around those questions will change.

What decks should characters user? I have ideas of my own concerning what decks could fit certain characters in the show, but maybe you have a better idea. Rest assured, Aaron doesn't have Performapals in Equestria because that deck definitely fits another character

What are your favorite Yugioh Openings? I know I went pretty standard using the Mlp theme, but that's just for the stuff covering Season 1 of MLP. My plan is to take each season of MLP and apply a different Yugioh opening to it after this.

Should Aaron remain a human or become a Pony down the line? I know it may be to early for this since the story is just starting, and rest assured he'll be a human for a long time to come if you guys do want him to eventually become a pony. If you don't, he can just remain a human.

Ponyville, Day…

Aaron stepped back only to fall to his butt hitting the ground. His deck box flew off with all the cards inside scattering across the ground. He was more concerned with the battle city duel disk on his arm. He didn't even own such a disk.

"This is all a dream, but I feel pain. It can't be a dream then." Aaron looked around only to notice that most of the ponies were gone leaving him with Twilight, Spike, and the two guards. "That means this is real, but that's impossible. This should be impossible!"

"Enough creature." Guard 1 commanded. "We hereby order you to stand down before we use force." Duel disk on their arms activated. "Weather it's a duel or genuine force is up to you."

Guard 2 said, "You can also choose the easy way and stand down. What is your choice?"

Aaron looked at the guards as he started breathing deeply to calm himself. His eyes wondered to his deck box only to open wide as those weren't his Performapal. They were mostly magician Pendulum monsters.

"Okay, this can't be a dream since falling on my butt hurt. This means, as crazy as it may sound, I'm somehow in Equestria. Something I have little knowledge of; however. I'm certain they shouldn't be duelist." He shook his head frantically. "Getting off topic.

I have no idea how I can return home which means I'm stuck here. Given that I have no idea what's out there, my best bet is to go along with whatever they want rather than running. That said, I need something to keep me grounded. Something I understand."

Guard 1 said, "We need your answer creature!"

Aaron got on his knees and put his hands behind his head.

The guy was still freaked out, but he had to try thinking logically. "I surrender, but I'm also freaking out. I know I don't have the right to ask for anything, but if I cooperate, can I please have my deck? I promise I'll listen to whatever you want."

The guards looked at each other before nodding.

Guard 2 looking back at a stunned Twilight. "Ms. Sparkle, we will have this creature detained in town hall until the Summer Sun Celebration where the princess will decide what to do with it. To achieve this faster, would you kindly collect its deck for it?"

Twilight blinked. "Oh… uh sure."

She used her magic to levitate all the cards on the ground back into the deck box before floating it over to Aaron. He quickly grabbed onto the familiar remnant of home and hugged it close to his body.

Aaron then stared at Twilight gratefully. "Thank you, Twilight Sparkle."

Twilight wondered how this creature could know her name, but she wasn't about to ask it any questions. The guards got on either side of Aaron.

"Alright, get moving creature." Guard 1 stated.

Aaron stood up and moved along with the guards as they led him towards town hall.

Spike peered out from behind Twilight at the creature. "That was really strange Twilight. What do you suppose that thing was?"

Twilight shook her head. "I don't know Spike."

Suddenly, another voice directly to the right of Twilight, spoke up. "Hm, I don't know either, but he didn't seem bad." Twilight and spike turned to see a pink pony with a darker pink, fluffy mane and balloons for a cutie mark. "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie!"

Twilight jumped back in shock that she hadn't noticed someone right beside her. Pinkie Pie then suddenly gasped and jumped into the air before speeding off.

Twilight was shocked. "This town is odd!" She shook her head calming down. "Come on Spike, we'll leave that creature to the guards because we have more important things to focus on than it and that strange, pink pony."

Spike sighed before following her.

Element of Dueling Opening #1

My Little Pony, My Little Pony

Ahh ahh ahh ahhh…

(A balloon holding Twilight and Spike floats down to Ponyville.)

Twilight Sparkle: I used to wonder what friendship could be

(The balloon lands with Twilight getting out while Spike seems to struggle.)

Until you all shared its magic with me

(Twilight looks around at the various citizens before focusing on a group consisting of Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Aaron(Still Human) seeming a little uncomfortable yet also at ease as he stood with this group.)

Aaron: Dueling together

(Aaron is standing in a field as he draws a card from his deck.)

Rainbow Dash: Big adventure

(Rainbow Dash quickly flies through the sky.)

Pinkie Pie: Tons of fun

(Pinkie Pie blows up a balloon in Sugar Cube Corner.)

Rarity: A beautiful heart

(Rarity is in her boutique as she flips her hair.)

Applejack: Faithful and strong

(Applejack bucks a tree on her farm)

Fluttershy: Sharing kindness

(She pushes an apple towards her rabbit, Angel, who eats it quickly.)

Twilight: It's an easy feat and magic makes it all complete

(Twilight uses her magic to appear with the entire group as Spike uses his fire to send a letter to Celestia.)

You have my little ponies

(The letter arrives at Celestia's throne room.)

Do you know you're all my very best friends

(Celestia uses her magic to opens the scroll and smiles as it a picture of Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Aaron all posing together happily.)

Town Hall

Aaron was led past a tan pony with a gray mane, who stood well away from him, and was put in what could only be the janitor's closet since there was cleaning supplies everywhere.

Guard 2 said, "Alright creature, you are to stay in this room until we come get you for the Summer Sun Celebration."

"Don't think you can escape because we will be guarding the area." Guard 1 stated. "If you even try, we'll lock you in a more secure location with your arms and legs bound."

Aaron was calming down more than before, but this was still crazy.

That said, this obviously wasn't his world, so he'd continue to play along. "You'll hear no argument from me." He tipped over a nearby bucket and sat on it. "I am more than willing to listen to you because I'm not malicious."

"We'll see creature." Guard 1 stated.

Guard 2 then closed the door. Aaron set his deck box at his feet before running his hands through his hair. He decided to compose himself with all the time he may or may not have. Again, he had no idea how to return home, but he did know that Celestia was the Princess of Equestria.

If he could prove he wasn't a threat, he could get help from her. He also recognized Twilight and remembered some the younger orphans talking about how smart she was. All he needed to do was secure their help. Hopefully they could get him home because he knew squat himself.

"Okay, here's the plan." Lance thought. "I need to quickly adjust to the fact that My Little Pony isn't just a show but another world. I need to accept that, compose myself, and make a good first impression on the Princess to get her help on returning home.

That's a solid plan, right? Right. The first step is to calm down." He began taking deep, soothing breaths. "I just need to accept that this is my current reality." He picked up his deck box. "This is reality. This is real. Calm down."

With Twilight

After meeting Pinkie Pie, Twilight and Spike started the check list for the Summer Sun Celebration. This began with food which led the pair to Sweet Apple Acres where they met Applejack.

She was an earth pony with an orange coat, blond hair, tan hat, and three apples for a cutie mark. She spoke with a country accent. They observed her buck apples into baskets before speaking with her to Twilight's reluctance.

Applejack was more than glad to meet Twilight, and she even introduced the student to her entire family. It was a rather large family with the youngest there using the puppy eyes trick to get Twilight to stay. In the end, it resulted in Twilight eating too much.

Center of Ponyville

Spike and Twilight had walked back into Ponyville.

Spike said, "Food's been taken care of, so next is weather."

Twilight lagged a bit behind. "Eh, I ate to much pie."

Spike looked from her to the sky. "Hm, there's supposed to be a Pegasus named Rainbow Dash clearing the clouds. Apparently, she's also the best duelist in all of Ponyville."

Twilight could care less about that last line as she was more concerned with the sky which was still filled with clouds. "Well, she's not doing a very good job at clearing the clouds, is she?"

At that moment, Twilight was hit into a mud puddle by a cyan blue blur. It was a cyan colored Pegasus with a rainbow main and rainbow bolt cutie mark.

She laughed and stood. "Excuse me." The Pegasus used her wings to hover above a disgruntled Twilight. "Let me help you." She brought down a rain cloud and stomped on it drenching the student. "Guess I over did it. How about this?" She moved around Twilight clearing the mud and water before landing on the ground. "No need to thank me, but you're quite welcome."

The pony then saw Twilight's poufy mane and fell down laughing. She was joined by Spike.

"Let me guess." Twilight stated. "You're Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow stood up proudly. "The one and only." She flew up a bit before looking at Twilight. "Was it my amazing flying or dueling skills you've heard of?"

Twilight looked at Rainbow unimpressed. "I heard you were supposed to clear the sky of clouds." She sighed before putting on a better attitude. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, and the princess sent me to check on the weather."

Rainbow was looking at Twilight closely. "Oh, wait I think I heard about you coming into town." She nodded. "Yeah, you were there when that strange creature appeared." She landed. "I heard it had a deck, is that true?"

"Wait, you heard about that strange creature?" Twilight questioned. "How?"

Rainbow smirked. "I always keep my ears open for information on dueling and the Wonderbolts." She looked at Twilight. "So, is it true?"

"Yes, but I don't…" Twilight tried.

"Awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Beating a creature that suddenly appeared is bound to get me on the Wonderbolts radar. Then, I can display my flying skills. Hm, considering those guards took him, I may have to switch that order. The Wonderbolts will be here tomorrow."

Twilight then got an idea. "You think you have what it takes to join the Wonderbolts?"

Rainbow landed on a cloud and laid back confidently. "Of course, I do."

"Please, they're some of the best duelist in Equestria, and their flying is said to be greater than that." Twilight stated. "They'd never accept a Pegasus who couldn't keep a sky clear for one day."

"Hey, I could clear this sky in 10 seconds flat." Rainbow retorted.

Twilight grinned. "Prove it."

Rainbow moved around the sky taking out every cloud.

The weather pony then landed. "What did I say? 10 seconds flat." Twilight and Spike were impressed. "Heh, you should see your face." She flew over to Twilight. "You know, you're a laugh Twilight Sparkle, and you do have a duel disk as well. We should duel sometime."

Rainbow then flew off with Spike commenting. "Wow. She's amazing." He then bounced Twilight's hair and laughed causing her to start walking towards their next destination. "Wait!" Spike followed. "Come on, it's kind of pretty once you get used to it."

With Twilight

With the weather check done, Twilight and Spike moved onto decorations which were handled by Rarity. A unicorn with a white coat, violet mane, and diamond cutie mark. Spike thought she was beautiful. When Rarity saw Twilight, she immediately took the student to her boutique.

There, Rarity fixed Twilight's mane before putting her in an outfit and found out about Rarity's love for Canterlot. The glamour, sophistication, and superb dueling. Twilight booked it the first chance she got. After escaping, the pair then moved onto the last item, music.

As Twilight walked, Spike ranted and raved about Rarity. The pair eventually found Fluttershy. She was a Pegasus with a bright yellow coat, pink mane, and butterflies for a cutie mark. She was talking to the birds who were to sing at the celebration.

Twilight scared them off before introducing herself to the shy pony. Fluttershy's attitude changed when she saw Spike. The baby dragon was of great interest to her even as Twilight tried to leave. Fluttershy merely followed and question Spike about himself.

The baby dragon was all too happy to answer her. The conversation eventually gave way to Spike telling the Pegasus about his life as they walked to the library. Twilight then ditched Fluttershy, so she could be alone to focus on Nightmare Moon.

Golden Oak Library, Evening…

The room was dark.

Spike looked at Twilight. "That was rude, don't you think?"

Twilight looked at him. "Sorry Spike, but I must convince the Princess that Nightmare Moon is returning. I just need to be alone without a bunch of crazy ponies getting in my way. Now, where's the light?"

Someone turned the light on only to reveal the entire town inside the library which was decorated for a party. "Surprise!"

Twilight was shocked before becoming exasperated.

"Surprise!" Pinkie Pie appeared before Twilight and spoke fast. "Hi again new pony. I threw this party just for you. Were you surprised? Were you? Were you?" She jumped over Twilight. "Huh, huh, huh?"

"Very surprised." Twilight stated. "Libraries are supposed to be quiet."

Pinkie chuckled. "That's silly. What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, duh. Boring." Twilight started to walk away, but Pinkie followed. "See, I saw you and that creature who appeared when you first arrived. By the way, that was very strange.

Anyways, I never saw you before, so I knew you had to be new because I know everyone in Ponyville. I mean everyone, so I knew you must not have any friends yet." Twilight began pouring something into a glass. "With this party you now have lots of friends."

Twilight drank what was in her cup, but it turned out to be hot sauce. While that wasn't pleasant to drink, it did provide the perfect excuse to get away from everypony. Twilight went up to the room above and stayed there all night while Spike partied with the ponies.

This resulted in Twilight being frustrated with all the interruptions that prevented her from learning anything about Nightmare Moon. Someone who could appear with the coming Summer Sun Celebration. Spike soon came to get her as it was time for the sun to rise.

Town Hall, Last Hours of Night…

Aaron was sleeping while sitting on the bucket. He'd stayed in the closest all day and night, just as the guards ordered, without attempting to escape.

Then, the door was thrown open jolting Aaron away. "Sam!" He rubbed his eyes. "Did you have a bad…dream." He looked the guards and immediately knew this wasn't home. "Oh, is it time?"

Guard 1 said, "You are to stay in between us the entire time."

Aaron walked out.

"Do not make any moves against the ponies." Guard 2 stated.

Aaron nodded. "I don't nor would I ever hurt anyone."

The guards didn't reply as they started walking which meant Aaron had to walk with them. The guards led him to the main hall which he had to admit was beautifully decorated. They then stopped him at the back of the room.

Aaron stood there silently as the citizens of Ponyville started to stream in. Naturally, many looked at him with fear, confusion, or some mixture of the two. This ended up with many of them whispering amongst themselves about him.

While Aaron did make no moves, he did pay attention whenever a member of the Mane 6 entered the room. It would be good to gauge their reaction to him after all. Fluttershy was afraid of him and stayed well away. Applejack looked him up and down questioningly.

Rarity both stared at and seemed afraid of him. Granted, it was less than Fluttershy, but the fear was still there. Rainbow Dash seemed like she wanted to challenge him. She had no fear in her eyes, but based on the little Aaron saw, that was to be expected.

At least she respected the guards enough not to rush right over. Pinkie seemed to be accepting of his presence. Twilight entered last with Spike on her back. The baby dragon was afraid of him while Twilight seemed curious.

"I don't know what I was expecting, but clearly I don't have the trust of any of the Mane 6. Now, I don't know if duel monsters can be real in this world, but it seems to be a big game here. In that case, Rainbow Dash may be my way in as she seems to want to duel me." Aaron thought.

Spike looked back through the crowd at Aaron before turning to Twilight. "Hey Twilight, what do you think that creature's goal is?" It was clear that he was afraid of what he didn't understand. "Do you think he's waiting to attack us."

Twilight looked back at him. "I don't know what it is or why it appeared Spike, but quite frankly my concerns are elsewhere."

Pinkie joined them. "Isn't this exciting!? Are you excited? I've never been so excited except for maybe when you arrived in town, but really, who can top that?"

Then, the music started drawing everyone's attention to the stage where that tan pony now stood. "Fillies and Gentlecolts. As mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration."

Everypony cheered but Aaron was thoughtful. "Summer Sun Celebration? A golden chariot pulled by two Pegasi. This is starting to seem familiar, but I can't place what episode this was. Though, didn't Twilight look out at the moon." He looked at the moon. "A pony?"

The mayor continued. "In just a few minutes, our town will witness the magic of the sun rise and celebrate this, the longest day of the year." Twilight now looked at the moon meaning both her and Aaron saw the image of the pony vanish once four stars converged on it.

"Now, it is my great honor to introduce the ruler of this land. The pony who gives us the sun and the moon every day. The good, wise, kind, and bringer of harmony to all Equestria, Princess Celestia."

The birds sung again as Rarity moved the curtain aside only to reveal no one.

"This can't be good." Twilight stated.

"She's gone!" Aaron thought shocked.

The guards turned on Aaron.

"What have you done with the princess!" Guard 1 accused loudly drawing attention.

Aaron held up his hands and shook his head. "It wasn't me. I stayed in the closest all day like you ordered, and I fell asleep at some point during that time. I barely know who Celestia is forget about knowing what she looks like."

A dark mist started to gather on the balcony.

"Likely story creature." Guard 2 stated.

"I'm telling the truth." Aaron stated as sincerely as possible. "It's just as I said earlier. I don't want to nor would I ever hurt anyone."

The mist became a black alicorn with stardust hair and a moon cutie mark. "Oh, my beloved subjects." Everyone turned to face the alicorn. "As much as I enjoy seeing you turn on this creature, I can assure you he speaks the truth. It was I who took Celestia."

Rainbow spoke out. "What did you do with our princess!?"

She tried to fly up, but Applejack caught her tail. "Whoa nelly."

The alicorn chuckled. "Am I not royal enough for you? Do you not know who I am?" No one spoke up. "Does my crown no longer mean anything since I've been imprisoned for 1000 years? Did you not recall the legend? Did you not see the signs?"

"I did, and I know who you are." Twilight declared. "You're the mare in the moon. Nightmare Moon."

Everyone was shocked.

This included Aaron, but for a different reason. "Nightmare Moon… Princess Luna! If she's here, that means I landed in the first episode of MLP!? Well, first episode is relative since this is what my life is until I can figure out a way back."

"Well, somepony who remembers me." Nightmare Moon stated. "Then, you know why I'm here."

"You're here to… to…" Twilight gulped.

Aaron was hesitant about stepping forward, but he had to start somewhere if he was wanted to get home. In his mind, a good first step would be stepping up to Nightmare Moon.

"You're here to shroud Equestria in everlasting darkness." Aaron stated.

"My, what an astute creature you are." Nightmare Moon laughed manically. "

"Seize her." The mayor ordered. "Only she knows where the princess is."

Every guard, including those on Aaron, flew at Nightmare Moon

"Stand back you fowls." Nightmare Moon declared.

Her eyes glowed and lighting struck the Pegasi causing them to crash into the ground and go unconscious. Nightmare Moon then became mist and went out the door while almost every citizen of Ponyville began panicking. Aaron noticed Twilight leave a little after Rainbow.

"This is all insane, but I do need their help." Aaron looked around and noticed that no one was really watching him anymore meaning he was free to run after her. "As much as dealing with an Alicorn may be beyond my skill, it may be my only way home."

He ran after Twilight.

Outside

Rainbow chased the mist for a bit before realizing that it would soon disappear. "Hey, get back her and duel me!" She then noticed Twilight running away from the town hall followed by Aaron. "Where are they going?"

Golden Oak Library

Spike was being put to bed, but he was trying to resist the temptation to sleep. "We got to stop Nightmare!"

Ultimately, it was to hard for the baby dragon and he conked out.

Twilight tucked him in. "You've been up all-night Spike. You are a baby dragon after all."

She then went downstairs to begin researching the Elements of Harmony only for her door to be thrown open by Aaron startling Twilight. "What are you doing here!?"

"Whoa, don't freak out." Aaron stated. "I know I look strange, and barging in may not have been the best choice. Realistically, you have no reason to trust me, but I don't want to see this world thrown into eternal darkness. That is why I am offering my help."

Before Twilight could reply, Rainbow was there. "What do you want to help her with creature?" Aaron stepped back to stand beside Twilight. "Are you two spies for Nightmare?"

Applejack pulled Rainbow back by the tail as she, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy came to stand with them. "Simmer down Sally. I don't think Twilight is a spy, and while I am uncertain about this creature, I don't think he is a spy either. His offer of help sounds to genuine. I do think they know what's going on, don't ya?"

"Honestly, my knowledge is far less than hers." Aaron stated. "I only know so much about all of this." He looked at Twilight hoping she wouldn't kick him out. "I promise I'm here to help. I want to see the return of Celestia just as much as you."

Twilight took a deep breath. "I read all about the Prediction of Nightmare Moon. Some mysterious objects called the Elements of Harmony are the only things that can stop her." She looked at the moon through her window. "That's the thing. I don't know what they are, where to find them, or even what they do."

Pinkie was looking at a book. "The Elements of Harmony: A Reference Guide."

Twilight rushed over and pushed her out of the way. "Where did you find it!?"

Pinkie came bouncing by. "It was under E."

"Oh." Twilight stated before getting the book. "There are seven Elements of Harmony, but only 6 are known. Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, Loyalty, and Dueling. The seventh is a mystery. It is said the last known location of the 5 elements was in the Castle of the Two Sisters.

The Element of Dueling has been lost to time. Legend has it that the Element of Dueling will reappear when the other six are together. If you wish to find the other 5, the best place to start is at The Castle of the Two Sisters located in the Everfree Forest."

"The Everfree Forest." The ponies stated scared.

Aaron looked at them. "Everfree Forest? If they're scared of it, it must be a terrifying place, but I can't stand around waiting to return home. I need to take action to get back."

Pinkie happily said, "Wee, let's go!"

"Not so fast." Twilight stopped her as she looked at them. "Look, I appreciate you 6 wanting to help, but I'd rather do this on my own."

"No can-do Sugar Cube." Applejack stated. "We would never let a friend of ours go into a place like that alone. We're sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple."

Aaron crossed his arms. "I've only just met all of you, but I want to help as well. Again, I know I may look weird, but…"

Fluttershy approached him and tapped his leg.

The Pegasus looked at the ground before looking at him. "When I saw you, I was terrified because I didn't understand, but now I know you're not a bad person." She looked at everyone. "I think after hearing how sincere you are, we'd welcome you along."

Everyone but Twilight, who just sighed, nodded in agreement. Some of them may still be weary of him, but the fear had left upon seeing how he acted in this situation.

Aaron nodded back. "I'm not certain how much I can help, but I'll do my best not to be a hindrance."

Nightmare Moon's mist had been outside the window listening in, but it flew off the moment the group made their choice. So, with great reluctance, Twilight went with this group to the Everfree Forest.
