Warning: spanking

Chris looked at Nathan.

"Make your way to the airport in Anchorage. We'll meet you there."

"Yes sir," Nathan said with a smirk. He started heading to another hanger. Chris walked over to Ch'od and Raza.

"Though the reason I could have done without, I'm glad I'll get to see you two before you take off." Chris hugged Ch'od and shook Raza's hand. "Be safe, brothers."

"Take care of your family, Captain." Chris nodded and made his way to the Blackbird. He was pleased to see Scott nowhere near the controls as he stepped up to the hatch. Chris did a quick check, made sure Scott was buckled in, and took off. Once they had been in the air for a few hours, Chris felt calm enough to talk to Scott. He put the plane on autopilot and went back to his oldest.

"Back to our discussion. Your grounding."

"You can't ground me from the X-Men."

"You're allowed to come up with schedules and simulations, but you aren't allowed to participate." Scott crossed his arms and refused to look at Chris. "You will go to school, you will come home, you will do your homework, you will eat dinner, and then you will go to bed. No after school activities, no X-Men, no parties, no car."

"What about snowboarding?"

"Nope. Unless you're using the bathroom or sleeping, you're stuck by my side for the rest of the trip. Obviously I can't trust you to listen to me, so I'll just take away situations where you have an opportunity to disobey me again."

"The professor will overrule you once we get home, you know."

"I highly doubt that. Charles and I had a very long talk on my way here. I made it very clear that I most definitely had the final say so when it comes to you, Alex, and once he gets here, Gabriel."

"Screw you!" Scott winced as he felt Chris yank him out of the seat and land a dozen blazing swats on his butt. When Chris released him, Scott stayed standing up, rubbing his stinging butt.

"I have had it, Scott Christopher!" Chris rubbed his eyes. "As soon as we land, you're going over my knee. And you'll continue going over my knee every night for the rest of the week."

"Dad, no!"

"You took off in a plane to go across the country! You didn't just disobey me, Scott, you willfully disobeyed me! You said you understood my order, and then you just… took off! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't take a strap to you every night for the next week!"

"If I hadn't, you never would have known about Gabriel!"

"Maybe not today, but I'm sure Nathan would have figured out another way to get that message to us. Try again."

"Because that's too much!"

"You don't think you deserve a severe punishment, young man?"

"I told you I was going!"

"So it was premeditated willful disobedience? Great. A spanking every night for two weeks, then!" Several alarms started going off and Chris ran to the controls. Scott ran with him and buckled himself into the copilot's seat.

"Let me take over!"

"Scott!"

"DAD! I know my plane!" Chris nodded and Scott took over. He clicked on the radar and saw several missiles coming towards them. "Did you not put the cloak on?! Damn it Dad!" Scott spun and lowered the plane. Once he saw the forest below, he formed a plan.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Chris yelled, seeing Scott unbuckling himself.

"Trust me! When I tell you, cloak the ship!" Chris nodded, taking the wheel. Scott pulled his way to the side hatch and opened it. "NOW!" Chris cloaked the ship as Scott took off his glasses and blasted the forest below. Chris quickly righted the plane and Scott closed the door and made his way back to the copilot's seat.

"Remind me to yell once my heart calms down."

"Because I saved our lives when you forgot to cloak us?"

"You could have told me your plan!"

"There was no time!" Chris gripped the wheel and glared out the windshield. Scott sighed and rubbed his eyes under his glasses. "I'm sorry. These are the types of things I'm used to not having to run by others. I saw what had to be done and I did it. I'm sorry there was no time to go over it with you. I promise if there's something like this again, I'll at least give you the gist of what I'm doing." Instead of responding, Chris turned off the cloak and called in permission to land at the airport. Once it was granted, he started descending to the runway. Finally, he taxied into the hanger.

"Do the post check," he told Scott before getting up and heading to the hatch and leaning against the door. Scott finished the post flight check and sighed as he went over to Chris.

"Dad?" he said. Chris turned and clenched his fists.

"Do you understand that anything could have happened to you with this hatch open? You could have been sucked out and then where would we be, Scott Christopher?"

"I didn't mean to worry you," Scott said, feeling the guilt start churning his stomach.

"What did I say would happen once we landed?" Scott sighed and started to unbutton and unzip his pants.

"Where do you want me?" Chris sat in one of the seats and pushed up the arm rests. Scott lowered himself across Chris' lap and tensed in preparation. Chris wrapped his arm around Scott's waist.

"Are you going to roll off my lap this time?"

"No sir- ow! Ah! That's too hard!" Chris snorted as he reignited the burning in Scott's behind.

"If you ever, and I mean ever! Take off in a plane to go across the country after I specifically told you not to again, you will be over my lap getting your ass paddled for an entire day! Do you understand me, Scott Christopher Summers?!"

"Yeeeeeeesssss!" Scott wailed. Chris stopped spanking, breathing heavier than he thought he had been and saw Scott's butt. This last round had caused some small bruises and Chris sighed. He reached down and pulled Scott's boxers up.

"Alright, son. Calm down," he said, patting Scott on his back.

"It hurts!"

"Good. If this helps you remember to obey me next time you think you know better, then I'll have done my job." Chris stood Scott up and Scott pulled up his pants, causing fresh tears to leak down his cheeks. "Let's go, Scott. We have at least an hour drive to the cabin."

"Cabin? H-hour?!" Scott whimpered as they exited the plane.

"That's right. Ah, there's Nathan. Good. Scott, hand me the car keys." Knowing better than to argue at this point, Scott handed the keys to Chris. Nathan walked over to the two, stretching his arms.

"I saw that fancy flying. I take it Scott was at the wheel? At least, until the 'crash.'" Chris tensed and glared at Nathan, who held up his hands. "Sensitive topic. Got it."

"Dad forgot to cloak us."

"Scott, unless you want another spanking once we get to the cabin, I'd stop talking," Chris warned as they started walking to the parking lot. As soon as he saw the jeep, Chris unlocked it. Nathan climbed in the front passenger seat, Chris in the driver's seat, and Scott got in in the back. He stretched out to keep the weight off of the burning ache in his pants.

"You said cabin?" Nathan asked once they were on the interstate. He looked in the backseat and saw Scott breathing deeply, seemingly asleep.

"I did."

"Hm. It'll be nice to see it again." Chris raised his eye.

"You've been to their cabin?"

"I was about two months old. It was the first time Uncle Alex and Aunt Lorna got to actually hold me for more than five minutes, and Dad introduced me to his grandparents."

"It's weird how you go between calling him 'Scott' and 'Dad.' And who the hell is Lorna?"

"If I'm talking about my past, he's my dad. What am I supposed to call him? Seeing him out of time, he's not my dad yet, so it's harder for him to hear. Especially when I look like this and he's, what, sixteen, seventeen?"

"Then why announce it to the X-Men and cause them to drag Scott across the country?"

"I have found that being up front and honest gets me answers faster."

"And making him fly from Alaska to New York?"

"They refused to tell me where he was," Nathan smirked. "But if I had known he was with Grandma Deb and Grandpa Philip… I wasn't expecting that. Nightcrawler didn't mean to say something about you, but once he did, the ball had started rolling. Before, you didn't see him again until he was married to Jean." Corsair blinked.

"I am so confused. I thought he married Madelyne?"

"In the time I came from, the X-Men had gone to space to help Lilandra defeat D'Ken- which is how they first meet the Starjammers. Scott and Jean were married. Jean became the Phoenix. The power killed her. Dad learned that the Pirate Corsair was actually his father- that was a huge mess, by the way. Dad meets Mom. He proposes to her on your ship while traveling with you through space. I'm born. Jean comes back, Dad leaves Mom and poor baby Nate and goes back to her, even though she's more interested in stupid Worthington by now. I get infected with a techno-organic virus and start turning into this. Dad gets my future half sister to take me to the future and now here I am. Great story, right?"

"It feels like something my mother would watch on her Soaps." Nathan chuckled. "So… two months was the first and only time you've been to the cabin? How do you remember it?"

"I remember everything," Nathan told Corsair, his metallic eye glinting in the moonlight. "You had to physically reprimand him then, too. Dad was depressed and nothing anyone was doing was reaching him. He and Mom weren't even sleeping in the same bed anymore… You did what you had to do."

"That doesn't disturb you, does it? That I spank him?" Nathan shrugged.

"He's your kid, Grandpa. I spank my own daughter when her actions merit it."

"You have a daughter?" Cable nodded.

"I adopted her once her mutation became obvious. Another baby from Alaska. It's funny, actually. All of us, despite living who knows where, have still managed to be born in Alaska. Hope was the only one not born in Anchorage, though."

"God's country. And not all of us, if you're telling the truth about Gabriel."

"He was created there. It can count," Nathan said, waving his hand. Chris chuckled and took an exit towards the mountains.

"I've always hated going up this road in the snow," Chris muttered. Cable turned and looked behind him and then back in front of him. After seeing no cars around, he held onto the car and teleported it to the driveway of Deborah and Phil's cabin.

"Better?" Cable asked before opening his door. Chris rolled his eyes.

"You are definitely your father's son."
