"it's slower in its melee form?" questioned Jaune "of course, all weapons that have a gun form is faster in its gun form, more parts dedicated to firing a bullet rather than swinging a blade, however a dedicated gun with no melee form is superior in terms of bullet speed and stopping power than a mecha shift weapon of equal quality" lectured Ruby

"then why not have a dedicated gun and melee weapon," said a confused Oscar " to save time, it is much more convenient to transform your two-handed weapon to a gun rather then sheathing it than pulling out a gun, time is an important factor in a fight whether it's Grimm in a forest or a gang boss in a building" lectured Pyrrha queen of the arena

"how about something that specializes in dealing with humans rather than Grimm since it would be redundant to have to weapons that can perform the same purpose," said Jaune speaking from the years of experience he has with RPG-games.

"There is a forge here, you can make it during the intermission," said Everest pointing to a door with a hammer image on the front.

"I can make something for you or upgrade your weapon if you want Jaune," said Ruby already coming up with blueprints

"you don't have to I wouldn't want to take advantage of your kindness," said Jaune

"if that's the case then would you mind if you can add a gun-function on my shield and make it so I can combine my sword and shield into a claymore," said Jaune

"of course, I was going to do the gun-function originally, but the claymore is interesting," said Ruby liking where this is going

"Don't forget you're going to have to modify your fighting style so you can use them practically, I can help you train if you want?" said Pyrrha wanting to get some alone time with Jaune and this would be the perfect excuse.

"There is an arena you can use it has many functions like holographic training-dummies and altered environments," said Ori pointing to a door with a sword image on the front

"umm if it's ok can I g-get a weapon as well, I was hoping to become a hunter as well, y-you don't have to if you don't want," said Oscar shyly not wanting to be a bother

"sure just tell me what weapon you want," said Ruby getting ecstatic over all of the weapons she will be making

"I was hoping for a c-cane with a sniper-rifle function that can also act as a grappling hook so I can get to h-high places" requested Oscar

"I actually fight with a cane if you wish I can help you in that regard," said Ozpin thinking he might as well do something while he is here, teaching is something he hasn't done in years he was hoping to do so once he finished all of the paper-work but they kept coming.

"I'll do that, this will be so much fun" squealed Ruby

'when one of the beowolfs swung at her she jumped to avoid it and blasted it with her gun for its troubles and using the recoil to propel herself then dug it into the ground to stop her momentum'

'another beowolf charged at her she, of course, dodged it and fired a round at a different one while she used the recoil to kick the beowolf that charged at her'

'she then began swinging her weapon to cut into another beowolf at the front and the one she kicked in the back, once those two were dealt with she uses her weapons momentum to behead a third one'

'two more beowolfs came charging at her so she dodged and swung her weapon and bisected the first beowolf while putting a round into the second one'

'the top-part of the bisected beowolf flew and hit a charging beowolf while two more joined the slaughter

'she then dodged two more swipes and cut down one then jumped on the other's back and decapitated it with a recoil-assisted cut while using the recoil to launch herself into the air'

'three beowolfs jumped into the air after her and she cut them down while using them as spring-boards'

'when she landed she had to block a swipe for the first time in this battle and propelled her self away'

'she then looked out still seeing a lot of Grimm and with a determined look she unloaded her chip and pulled out one with four arrows pointing to a black circle indicating its a gravity clip'

"Hey Nora why don't you use electric ammo it would complement your semblance," said Jaune

"too expensive, I can only afford to get the standard grenades, plus electricity isn't the most contained element with grenades," said Nora thinking to when she first used electric ammo it was too disastrous even for her

"how about an axe/rifle that uses electricity," said Jaune

"that would be awsome Ruby do you thin-" said Nora "already have plans, I haven't made weapons for so long and now I can once more" interrupted Ruby drunk on excitement and already finished with the plans for the previous three and is already drawing up another

already knowing what is happening and the inevitability of it Yang said "ok since we'll be on this all day is there anyone who would like a weapon from my sister"

"I have been wanting to incorporate kicks into my fighting style and what better weapon to have than shot-gun boots," said Yang thinking to her fight at Junior's club and at the fact she was outmaneuvered with the twins even though she beat them it's only because she was able to separate them.

"I would like two short-swords that can combine to become a sniper rifle, I don't have any long-range options and because of my semblance I would have to be a Grimm-hunting specialist," said Ren thinking to when he first emerged his semblance and to his fight with the king-kijitu and the fact it found him even with is semblance on, just because they couldn't detect his emotions doesn't mean they can't see him (AN: I know that his semblance makes him unable to be seen by Grimm at all in the OG-verse but this isn't the OG-verse so if you complain I'll just ignore you my fic my rules)

"my current flaw is that I don't have anything that specializes in dealing with Grimm, I was hoping that you could make a pair of heavy-pistols that can transform to make daggers," said Pyrrha thinking to how her training was for fighting humans, not Grimm and to how she felt like she under-performed with the deathstalker because of it.

then everyone's eyes turn to their headmaster.

"What weapon do you want," said Ruby salivating at the prospect of making so many weapons

"I suppose I lack the option to use lethal force and a range option, i would like a staff that can split into a pair of tonfas/heavy-pistols that has folded blades" said Ozpin humoring them, oh he will learn how to fight with them for fun, but most likely he will use his cane in an encounter

Once the distracted huntsmen stopped being distracted the trailer unpaused to see 'Show!Ruby using the recoil of her weapon to propel herself to the mayhem of Grimm and cut them down with the speed that only she and experienced huntsmen posses. Bullets and body parts flew everywhere and when she stopped bullet cases rained down'

"By in terms of speed semblances I'm pretty slow compared to others" amitted Ruby

"While she is slow compared to other speedsters she has more awareness of her surroundings than others, you saw how coordinated she was, usually speedsters run blindly into the fray and use hit and run tactics while Ruby here kites the enemy into vulnerable positions and maneuver herself so her enemies would get in the way of each other," explained Ozpin

"Ok now that is done ready for the next trailer," said Everest
