WEDNESDAY

Jasper and Sadie hadn't talked once since they moved in together. Sadie desperately wanted to get to know her more masculine roommate, but Jasper seemed to have no interest in her. Sadie was walking out of their shared bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. Sadie walked out of the steamy bathroom, letting a gust of hot air burst out into their dorm room. She started walking towards her dresser to receive some clothes when she trips out of nowhere. She looked up and was face to face with Jasper's pile of undergarments.

"W-what the hell..." She skeptically eyed the pile and looked around her dorm for Jasper. She found her out in the living room on her phone, texting someone.

"Jasper! You need to clean up after yourself. You can't just leave your clothes wherever you want!" She yelled at her dormmate.

"Fine. Gimme a second," Jasper continued to text away on her phone before she came to an abrupt stop. She set down the phone on their shared dresser. Jasper walked past Sadie and picked up her dirty laundry, but not before Sadie saw who the brute was texting. The bright screen read Attachment: 1 image from somebody under the contact of 'Wifey'. Sadie did not want to know who the hell 'wifey' was and what they were sending, so she acted like she hadn't seen a thing.

"Jasper, we have class in 20 minutes. Hurry and get ready," Sadie said sternly while slipping on a pale purple shirt on. It took a little bit, but eventually, Jasper walked out of the bathroom in a black tank top and some casual baggy sweatpants.

"Let's go, runt," The taller girl said as she stomped to the dorm door. She swung it open with one flick and soon enough, they were out and headed to their first class of the day.

As the pair shuffled into their first class, they calmed down and looked at places to sit. Sadie walked across the room to an empty seat, only to spot Shep and Lars together, talking quietly about something. Sadie not wanting to sit near either one of them, saw Connie sitting alone. Connie was just doodling in her textbook, but as she saw Sadie, she quickly stopped and offered her a seat.

"Hey, Sadie! How's it going?" Connie always had a bright smile on her face to light anyone's day up, but Sadie was actually pretty devastated about the whole Lars and Shep thing. You see, both of them liked Sadie. Sadie had no doubt that she liked the two back, but she didn't know who to choose. Lars was her highschool sweetheart, but Shep supported everything she did. She met Shep when she performed at a beach party with her band in the summer before college. One underage drink led to another and the two hit it off right away. The night the two had sex still haunted her since she never told Lars or anybody besides Connie and Steven.

"I'm not that good... You know about the whole Shep-Lars thing? Well, the two are dormmates," Sadie said while rubbing her neck and taking the seat next to Connie. Connie let out a slight gasp and brought her hand to her mouth to cover it.

"Woah! Does Lars know about... you-know-what," Connie said in a hushed tone while Sadie shivered.

"That's the thing, he doesn't. It's only the second day of class and I'm already majorly stressed. Not to mention that I'm roommates with-," Sadie cut her sentence off. She didn't want to say Jasper's name too loud, just in case she would hear despite the fact Jasper sat on the other side of the room.

"Jasper will come around sooner or later, don't worry about that. We can talk about Lars and Shep after class since I think the professors coming in," Connie was right. Mrs. Zircon walked in with a coffee in her hand. The day before Mrs. Zircon told the class she had a bad habit of coming in late in the mornings, and it turned out to be true.

"Good morning, guys!" Mrs. Zircon announced to her large class, "Sorry for being late. I got caught up." Mrs. Zircon began her daily Studies in Literature lecture.

"Peridottt," Peridot's eyes shot open. She saw her roommate above her with a sly grin across her face. Her eyes looked like tiny peas in Garnet's vision.

"Don't ever wake me up again, you clod," Peridot demanded, trying to sound tough but obviously failing. Garnet chuckled and moved off the top of Peridot. Peridot turned to her nightstand and grabbed her glasses. She checked the time on her phone and gasped.

"It's 12:46?! Class starts at 1:15! Why didn't you tell me?" Peridot yelled at her tall roommate. By then Garnet was in the bathroom brushing her teeth and getting prepared for the day. Garnet spat her toothpaste out in the sink as Peridot walked into the bathroom. Garnet looked in the mirror and chuckled, noticing the drastic height difference. Peridot had to be 4'11 at most, and Garnet was nearly 6'1.

"I tried to, but then you yelled at me," Garnet said with a fake melancholy look. Peridot's face blushed from embarrassment, but she hoped the larger woman wouldn't notice.

"Whatever, j-just hand me my toothbrush," Peridot was still trying to act big and bad but was ultimately failing. Garnet nodded and handed her the green toothbrush. The green-eyed girl nodded in thanks. As she brushed her teeth, she planned the outfit she was going to wear. Once she was done with brushing her teeth, she walked over to her bed and laid out her planned outfit: a simple black t-shirt, ripped jeans and a green flannel jacket.

"Looks good," Garnet said. Peridot couldn't decipher if it was sarcasm or not.

"Thank… you?"

"No problem!" Garnet had her signature sly grin on her face. Garnet slipped on her black vans while Peridot put on a pair of two-strap sandals. She always wore them, but they had seemed to grow in popularity over the past few years.

"Really, socks with sandals?" Peridot squirmed. That comment alone made her blush. The simplest things that Garnet commented on could make anyone get flustered.

"Y-Yeah. Did you not see me wear them on Monday or Tuesday?" Peridot rubbed the back of her neck. She stared down at her sandals, wondering if she should change them or not. She looked back up at Garnet, who was eyeing her back.

"I like them. They really suit you." Peridot blinked.

'She just complimented me?' She thought.

As Peridot was pretty much stunned, Garnet simply smiled and walked out the door towards class.

Amethyst awoke to Lapis shaking her slightly, attempting not to make much noise. Amethyst's hair was a mess and drool was all over her pillow, but it didn't bother her.

"Is there a reason you are waking me up?" Amethyst told the bent over girl on the side of her bed.

"Dude, Pearl was acting weird this morning," Lapis was in her school clothes. Amethyst didn't have classes in the morning on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so she used that time for her advantage.

"How?" Amethyst sat up and rubbed her eyes, trying to get used to the sudden light.

"I woke up and was about to take a morning shower, but when I walked in, I saw her looking at herself naked in the mirror. Yes, she could've been admiring herself, but she had her phone out..." Lapis' face was horribly red at this point, "And I swear she was taking… you know."

"Woah! P's getting some action I see," Amethyst let out a laugh, ignoring everything Lapis wanted to convey.

"Amethyst! You don't understand, she doesn't even have a boyfriend," Lapis wasn't kneeled down anymore, so she was looking down onto Amethyst on the bed.

"Bold of you to assume she even likes boys," Amethyst let out another belly laugh and hopped out of bed. She didn't have her afternoon class until 3:00, but since Lapis woke her up there was no point to sleep any further. She got dressed in a pair of black shorts and an oversized t-shirt she got when she went to a concert. After getting dressed, she looked at the time on the watch she had just put on. 2:23. Since she had time to spare, she headed down the cafeteria the school had. It served all kinds of foods; spaghetti, sandwiches, chips, anything you could think of they pretty much had.

"What should I get…" She spoke to herself while waiting in the not-so-long line. She finally decided on getting some pizza. Plain as usual. She stepped into the ghost-like line and got her food. The girl sat down at one of the smaller cafeteria tables and just had a casual day. That is until her class started. Her attention was all set on her roommate in question. Pearl was sitting next to Jasper, which was quite unusual since she had never seen the two talk before. It was even weirder seeing Pearl blush. In all the years Amethyst knew her she didn't see her blush once. So, Amethyst told herself she had to get to the bottom of it. Once Mr. Zircon stopped teaching his lesson Amethyst practically jumped out of her seat.

"P!" She said, running up behind the tall woman. Pearl looked surprised to hear Amethyst talking when she isn't complaining about being her roommate. It was weird, Pearl thought, how she completely tolerated Lapis but not her.

"Oh, geez. What, Amethyst?" Pearl asked.

"What are your relations with…" She hesitated for a split second, "Jasper?" Pearl's eyes looked like they would jump out of their sockets. Pearl's answer was pretty hard to hear since she was just fumbling with her words and covering her mouth, making her speech sound hushed.

"P. If you have the answer to my question just spit it out," Amethyst was getting impatient by then, as they were just standing in the front of a classroom door.

"Fine. We are what you would call together," Pearl's face was cherry red, and she was rubbing her left arm rather quickly.

"You don't know what you're getting yourself into, Pearl,"

"Since when do you care about what I do," She sounded pissed.

"Trust me on this," Amethyst was trying to get through Pearl's head.

"Shut up," That was all Pearl could say at that moment. Little did she know.
