*Howdy all! I meant to post yesterday, but got sidetracked by chores. Got chapter two for you. Posting now cause I have a facetime work call in two hours. Not used to working from home, it's a new experience. Enjoy!*

"Whoo, I am beat!" Duke Caboom said, wiping his brow. The lost toy crew had just finished a full weekend in New Jersey. The carnival had spent some time there for their memorial day celebration. Three days full of helping toys find homes. They just settled in one of the trucks that was being packed up to head out to the next city.

"Who knew there were that many kids in Atlantic City?" Ducky said.

"Atlantic City is a popular tourist destination. Woody said. Some of these families don't even live here, they just visit."

"Well, those families will be going home with a new toy." Bo said.

"Should we be worried that they might question how the toy got there?" Bunny asked.

"Nah! Parents never care how many toys a child has, as long as they remain quiet on the drive back." Giggle said.

"The officer speaks the truth!" Duke replied. The others laughed.

"So, any idea where we're heading this time?" Ducky asked.

"I heard one of the ride operators say something about a festival in the Tri-County area." Giggle said. Woody sat up.

"The Tri-County?" He asked.

"Yup. Your domain cowboy."

"Woody, are you alright?" Bo asked. Woody stared down at his feet. He had been with Bo and the crew for four years now. Last time he saw his friends was after they helped him reunite two kittens who needed help getting back home.

"Do you think they'll still be there, at Bonnie's?"

"I'm sure they will be. Why don't you think so?"

"It's been four years, Bo. By now, Bonnie has to be at least eleven years old. I'm worried she might've gotten rid of the others."

"We'll just have to see, won't we?" She took his hand. "I think you're worrying too much, cowboy."

"He always does." Bunny said. Woody shot him a look. Bo was right though, as usual. They were bound to still be there, Bonnie wouldn't give them up. He settled in beside Bo and closed his eyes for a while.

It took a day and a half, but the carnival made it to the Tri-County area by the nightfall. Workers stayed over night to put up some of the taller rides. Once the carousel was set up, Woody and Bo made their way to the top. It was there favorite spot besides the ferris wheel. From there, they could see everything.

"Welcome home, Woody." Bo said, leaning into him.

"It's your home too, darling. Nothing's really changed, as far as I can tell." Woody said.

"Yeah. Hey, what do you say to a day off? I could put Giggle in charge and we can take a trip over to Bonnie's, see the old gang. How's that sound?"

"That sounds perfect. But, oh, what do we do until then? Oh! I have an idea." He pulled her in for a kiss, being gentle at first and then becoming more passionate. Bo was surprised and pulled back.

"Wow. What, what has gotten into you, cowboy?"

"What? I can't kiss my girl passionately?"

"No, no. You can. It, It's just been a while since we've, you know, been intimate. I mean we've been so busy that we've only had a few minutes together and now..."

"Now we have some time to kill. The guys are off doing whatever, so why waste a perfectly good night like this?" Bo's eyes lit up.

"That's true. Get over here, you handsome man." She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. He pulled her into his lap and started running his hands down her back when they heard a crash. "What was that?"

"It's probably Ducky and Bunny crashing Duke's bike again." They heard another noise, almost like the sound of fabric tearing. They got up and looked over the side of the carousel and saw a hole ripped in the top. Bo grabbed her staff and put a finger to her lips.

"Alright whoever you are, come out with your hands up. Now." A moment passed and then all of a sudden, a flash of pink jumped at them and grabbed Bo, forcing something against her neck, knocking her staff out of her hand.

"Bo! Hey, let her go, you sneaky little..." Woody shouted and then gasped as the pink creature stepped into the light of the moon.

"Well, well. Long time no see, sheriff!" Lotso said.

"L, Lotso?"

*BUM BUM BUM!*
