Chapter 1: Eldar Targaryen
"Swing it up! That's how it will block the enemy blade if he tries to slash at ye" Alliser Thorne was a Targaryen loyalist. He was a stern man with a harsh personality towards others, but not to Eldar. Eldar was a Targaryen, and he pledged his services to house Targaryen, despite his allegiance to the Night's watch. Eldar was training with a night's watch recruit.
Eldar was brought to the Wall by Ned Stark, who noticed the Targaryen survivors glaring at him, thirst for vengeance for their lords' doom.
Eldar was a skilled swordfighter, but was an excellent spearman. He, along with 3000 Men who survived the Trident, did not swear an oath to the Night's watch, rather they set up camp deep in the woods, with food being supplied to them at night. The 3000 survivors were at their 30's, and were sworn to Eldar, no matter what age he was. They were led by Ecthelion Velaryon, whom Eldar considered him as a father figure.
Of course Eldar was well educated. He learnt wisdom and knowledge from Maester Aemon, his distant relative. Eldar had a hair as white as snow, unlike any other Targaryen, yet bote violet eyes. He wore a black robe with red sleeves. One day he would lead his armies to the South and reclaim what was his: the Iron Throne. He believed he was the Last Targaryen in Westeros, but unknown to him, Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen, the true heirs, were at Pentos.
As the recruit swung back at Eldar, Eldar jumped around the blade and twirled himself, landing down. He fought like a crane and a snake combined. As he landed he pointed his training sword at the recruit.
"Impressive" Thorne clapped his hands on his trainee and future King.
Eldar slightly smiled and looked above, seeing the Lord Commander Jeor Mormont impressed by his skill. Ecthelion, too, was also watching and was impressed. He had done well.
"Alright, yer grace.. that's it for today.. Training is done for now.." Thorne announced as Eldar nodded. He headed out of Castle black and to the forest, where the Targaryen camp was located. While walking back, Eldar spoke to his father figure.
"Any news from the south?" The young Targaryen asked him. He replied respectively
"The Moon Lord Jon Arryn is dead. The Royal Family will arrive in Winterfell, with Lord Stark being offered the position of Hand of the King" Ecthelion said. Eldar gave a nod he wanted to explore the forests of the North, but it's too risky.
"I'll pay a small visit. I'll be back in a few weeks" said Eldar, as Ecthelion widened his eyes. Eldar had visited the wonders of the North, alongside with at least 12 Men disguised as Rangers of house Forrester, with a white tree embedded on their robes.
"Eldar. That is too risky.. you'll get killed"
"I won't." He replied, as he reached to his tent, changing his red sleeves to black and putting on a black hooded cloak with a Forrester sigil in the cape. He began to put on his mask and armed himself with a bow and a quiver of arrows, making him unrecognizable in the public.
"I won't take my rangers with me." Eldar said as the 12 Archers looked at him and bowed "I may be only 17, but I can take care of myself this time" he said and mounted on black horse. He's clearly going to have to be careful, since Robert Baratheon hated the Targaryens. He wanted to see the man who brought him to the Wall as well: Ned Stark, but he had to keep his identity hidden. Only Ned, of all people other than his friends, knew the truth about Eldar's existence.
