chapter 2: Ron asks Hermione
Ron and Harry were doing homework. Harry nudged Ron, raised his eyebrows, as to say:Have you thought about the yule ball?
Ron nudged Hermione. "Oi Hermione, you're a girl. D'you wanna come to the ball with me?"
Hermione's face was bright red. "No," she hissed. "Harry's already asked me and I said yes."
That wasn't strictly true, thought Harry. McGonagall forced me to go with Hermione, yes, although I love her to bits.
Hermione signalled to Harry to stand up and hand their books in to Sprout. She smiled and let them go ahead.
"Bloody hell," said Harry. "Didn't Ron know I was going out with you?"
Hermione giggled. "Thought everyone knew"
"Apparantly not," replied Harry.
Hermione reached up to kiss Harry. Harry kissed her back.
